My son loved the pool! That was his favorite thing about the hotel. The breakfast at the restaurant was phenomenal I can’t say more about the Texas shaped waffles. Rooms were well kept. We went for our son’s birthday and they had a special banner and balloons , along with a card waiting for him in the room when we got there.

The hotel views at sunset and night are gorgeous from the pool or terrace. The food is actually good, not hospital like at all. Staff is very friendly and you really get treated nice. Room is clean and beds are comfy. Second stay and will not be my last.

Everyone is always so helpful and cheerful. Rooms are comfortable with very comfortable beds. Everything is always clean We stay here every month and they are very consistent with everything.

Staff was extremely nice and made you feel welcome. Rooms are nice and cozy.

Great place to stay if you have business at the Medical Center. Stephanie at the front desk was awesome. Ate breakfast and dinner there and was very satisfied. Valet attendants were just awesome. Room was immaculate.

Ordered room service and the food was fantastic. Enjoyed my meal very much. Would have liked plates and utensils instead of “togo” packaging. Hard to cut a steak in a cardboard box with a plastic knife.

Lovely

I stayed in a spacious, clean suite with all of my nieces, and it was the perfect setup for our girls’ birthday celebration. We made so many wonderful memories together. The pool was beautiful and a great place for us to relax and have fun, and the food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing. Every staff member we encountered provided outstanding customer service, which made our stay even more special. This has definitely become one of my favorite hotels in Houston, and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for helping make my birthday weekend one I’ll never forget!

Exceptional

Whereas the Hyatt literally threw us out after we had paid for two nights and refused to honor our reservation, the Westin was quick to accommodate us. Even though the suite we reserved was unavailable, they promptly arranged a different room, provided complimentary breakfast and parking, and made the entire experience extremely nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We will be staying there again in the future. As for our relationship with Hyatt, based on that one experience, we will probably never stay at a Hyatt again. We travel regularly, are Platinum members with Expedia, fly frequently, and stay at hotels all over the world. We will probably never stay at another Hyatt, but we will definitely return to the Westin and other Marriott hotels in the future.

Pricing on food little ridiculous and snack prices were stupid ridiculous!

Rooms were clean. Amenities were very nice. The gym was equipped with everything needed for a good workout. Staff was friendly and convenient location

Great location, valet service was awesome The very top floor smelled weird in a bad way. My room didn’t have a microwave. I don’t know if that was standard or not, but it was very inconvenient.

Originally booked a suite and upon arriving to the room we noticed what looked to be like a drop of blood on the floor along with the tub not being cleaned. When housekeeping came she rudely remarked it was makeup and wiped it up. When I asked if they don’t mop between guests she just offered to mop. The manager on duty was really kind and offered us a different room which we took but it was much smaller due to suites being sold out making it much harder with a little one. Valet was 24/7 but was very pricey. We ordered room service and were quoted 30 minutes and it arrived in an over an hour- food was lukewarm. At least the pool and most of the service was really nice.

Everything was great. Only issue we called for extra sweet and low due to three occupants. I had two friends with me to attend to me after my surgery. I went down stairs after waiting for an hr. The front desk clerk called for them to deliver us the sweet and low. The hostess of the restaurant was at her post and over heard what I needed. She did not offer to get sweet and low from the restaurant even though I purchased coffee at 6am at the restaurant and used sweet and low at that time. Great hotel and staff except for that one issue.

Everything was great, from the staff to the bell service the cleanliness of the hotels. the room and The bed was phenomenal . The Westin has made the top of my list of hotels to stay. Like they say” it’s the Westin fa me”.

Call the hotel before booking they told me incidentals were 150 got there. They were 300. Unfortunately I did not get to stay there.

I have been staying at the Westin medical center in Houston for 5 years. I stayed there the day I was diagnosed with cancer and i stayed there the day i was told i was cancer free and all the many days in between. The staff at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced. It’s like they all got the memo, their guests very likely are having a terrible day,week,month….so they do everything possible to make your day better. Little extras “can I bring extra pillows” “lets me grab the car and run you over to MDA” “be sure and eat and don’t get too hot” “here’s extra water”. I love this hotel and will always stay here when I’m in Houston. ,

It’s more of a Hampton Inn with the “Westin” logo on it. Arrived and the valet person was deeply sleeping. Perhaps even drunk. Don’t trust the $57 a night parking at all. Noisy, next to traffic and train station. Got a smaller room than what’s in the picture. Fridge door barely opens, blocked by the bed. Motel quality bathroom, the cheapest brand toilet paper. Flush is horrible. Hotel got a gas leak, couldn’t sleep and breath well. Therefore no hot water in the shower. All and all, the wors stay in a Westin ever. Not worth more than $60/night for the quality of the “motel”

We were very pleased with our stay at the Westin. The staff was gracious and kind… each and every one! If we return to Houston, it will be our intention to stay there again.

Amazing experience

Shuttle Staff was excellent.

The elevators are confusing to operate. The check in staff has a stone face. When I ask her about how to use the elevator, she gave me the attitude of “how stupid of you”. For the room, air conditioning does not function well, we set the temp to 68 and it’s still too hot to sleep. The buttons to turn on/ off the lights do not function.

The room was very clean somewhat there was hai inside the bathtub so I wasn’t able to use it. Air conditioner didn’t get cold it took 1 hour before we feel the coldness. It was hard to find the parking we found the easiest parking valet when we were about to leave. But overall it was very neat and close to everything. I will stay longer so I can actually enjoy the amenities and we didn’t have a chance to check out the bar and the breakfast.

What a wonderful stay. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Especially the valet team. They even gave us a ride twice to go eat. They had wonderful restaurant suggestions. Thanks again to the entire team

I found the bathroom to be quite surprising. I noticed that the solid door had been replaced with a glass one. My 10-year-old son almost bumped into it, which was a bit concerning. Also, the transparent glass allows you to see inside the bathroom, which might not be ideal for all guests. I believe these aspects could be improved to make the experience more comfortable for families.

Daniel who was the bartender on duty when we checked in could not have been nicer. Room was more than fine. Clean hotel. One thing that did bother us from a security standpoint: anyone without a key can access any floor in the hotel. This is a big security concern.

Room was clean, the staff was courteous, the only complaint i had was minor, we were on the 18th floor, top floor, and there was an incessant hum coming from some machinery on the roof, maybe HVAC or something. It was a very low hum or vibration, so be aware if they put you on the top floor
