Great experience at this property, everything was cleans and well managed, food was very tasty.

Love the staff. I stay here for my work trips once a month. The staff knows me and they keep a close eye on my safety. They make sure I am comfortable.

I was a hit disappointed that I was "upgraded" a room with no microwave or refrigerator. I did have to wait over an hour at 10pm to get my smoke detector battery switched out, I had to call 2x to finally get someone up there.

Beautiful property. Hotel staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

The staff was amazing! The front desk staff and Chris the property manager at valet went over and beyond.

On the downside there was no microwave or basic eating utensils. By contrast, my last stay in a Marriott suite included utensils, paper towels, and a dish rack. The biggest issue, however, was the two-tier WiFi, which even as Royal Sonesta member necessitated re-joining several times a day after each time I stopped using my phone or iPad. At other properties such as Hyatt and Marriott you’re usually covered for the entire stay or at worst log in once a day. The WiFi issue is a deal-breaker and I’ll look for other lodging options before staying at a Royal Sonesta again.

The employees were SO kind! I can't say enough how wonderful this hotel is! Only drawback for me was being on the 5th floor and hearing the door to the gym/pool opening... But that is not the fault of the hotel

The room has mood lighting, not really bright enough to see real well. Also there was no clock in the room. I had to depend on my phone to know the time.

There was no real area to park my car to check in. I pulled up to the front and went to the front desk. As soon as I did, valet asked to move my car. The guy checking me in put thr wrong door number in my card. Few minutes short of valet moving my car, I had to go out and track my car down. I elected self-parking. I did not get any help with my bags nor was there a cart. I lugged my bags to the 14th floor and was trying to get intot he door (1428) that was written on the card. I called downstairs and it took 15 minutes to get ahold of someone. The woman told me my door was 418. The whole reason I stayed here was because they had a pool. I changed and went upstairs to check the pool and it was so small. The Staybridge across the highway had a better looking pool. It didnt even have enough seats to seat 10 people. When I checked out, I was told I was already checked out. I certainly didnt check myself out. I wanted to pay for my self-parking from a different card but didnt get the option since someone checked me out. Not impressed at all. Highly annoyed.

Would definitely stay there again! Great and convenient property. They just neglected to clean our room the first two nights of our six. But the staff was awesome.

Service was great but parking is overrated!

There was no hot water on Friday or Saturday. Hot water came back on Sunday morning. Only one elevator was working and we waited over 30 minutes for it.

Toilet overflow(old American Standard), and Front desk claimed freebies which wasnt true

We had an excellent stay and were very happy with the property. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything was prepared nicely when we arrived. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere, and overall cleanliness. Check-in and check-out were also smooth and easy. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property to other travelers!

This property had issues. Elevators took forever and made so much banging noise; the water in my room would not get hot until maintenance came; the air condition was not steady—air was colder at 77 than it was at 69. This is my last stay at a Sonesta

Air conditioner in poor working condition. Hot room and night. Bath tub faucet came off and I put it back together. I told the front desk at checkout and he was very rude. No apologies. All he said was “I’ll tell engineering “. I’m never coming back. At $300 a night I expect more. I should get a refund. 👎

For the price I expected much better. The rooms are dated. Staff not exactly friendly.

Room was clean and roomy. Staff was helpful and we ended up with an upgraded room which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast buffet was good with some nice options like cooked to order pancakes and omelettes. One downside is you do have to pay extra for parking in the garage but overall was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel has a great vibe and the energy was great, rooms were just ok, especially the bathroom which had this weird valve in the ceiling that constant dripped cold water- and the shower system was pretty poor

The property is old and outdated and sheets dirty, save your money. Motel 6 is better !

From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the bell staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the service was outstanding, and the room was exactly what we hoped for. It provided everything we expect from a luxury hotel—and came very close to exceeding those expectations. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wonderful selection and excellent quality. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay!

We arrived @1:30 am only to find our bathroom was flooded. They immediately changed our room but instead of a king , we received a queen bed.The safe did not work

Staff was great. The water literally took 25 mins of running to get hot upon arrival, so my mother had a cold shower. I ran the water until we got hot water for the tub. The carpet was also buckling in the bedroom in several places. The meal selection at the coffee shop was good although things kept running out during our breaks.

It was amazing and the staff was very courteous.

Spend a week with daughter staying here, 12min walking from my room to the Galleria.

The service overall was exceptional, the staff was very professional.

Consistently a great place to stay with very reasonable rates. I love the convenience of having the bar, coffee shop and restaurant there. Wish the restaurant were open later though! Some things are showing wear, but overall it’s upkept well.

Was there for a wedding, there were a lot of options in the area for kids, staff was wonderful, would stay again!

The service was better than good, It was extraordinary. the guy at the front desk was giving places and bars to go to. Completely changed my view. If I needed anything I didn’t even have to leave the hotel. That says everything about this place. This is the only hotel I’m staying in Houston. Im definitely a customer for life from now on.
