Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a longer stay. Having a kitchen was a big plus, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. The hotel was quiet, the bed was comfortable . Great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again!

Terrible service. Didn't like. Clean and unsafe area. Filthy. I didnt like the fact that it was unsafe and the day that I arrive the staff lied about calling my phone and told me that they gave my room to someone else. A room I already paid for. Would not recommend to anyone.

All hotel smelled of smoke since you stepped into the lobby all the way to the 3rd floor where I stayed. Hotel looked like no one has kept maintenance of it in a long time

Place smells of nasty dog and mold, I tried to use the stairwell and oh my Jesus the stench of animal feces was intolerable, than there’s the noise, kids crying, yelling, loud music late at night, during the day there is banging on the walls, like the people just let their kids run around, the bed that was in my room was so uncomfortable, there was a bump in the middle and it felt like it was caving in on the sides, the pillows looks dirty, there was a lady cleaning, but the place still stank, it was like she never cleaned the mop and just spread the nastiness throughout the building, also it looks sketchy outside at night, sadly I couldn’t leave and had to stay the days I paid for, but I will never return to this place, horrible, there is a couch in the room and it’s gross, looks like someone died on it, I do not recommend this place.

The room was disgusting. There was mold on the walls, refrigerator, and lamps. The bathroom was terrible and dirty. I didn’t even end up staying here, I was scared I would get sick. I could not get a refund either. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Yes, upon arrival there was no one at the front desk to allow access so we had to get another hotel for the night. Also, no one answers the phone to discuss a refund for the 1 night.

The room was not very clean there was ash on the outlet. The freezer didn’t keep anything frozen. The window had a leak and during a heavy rain storm we had a water puddle on the floor and under our bed. The staff were friendly and helpful but the cleanliness of the place was not very good. We also had towels that were stained with grey and black marks, they just looked super dirty. It stunk in parts of the facility as well.

I stayed at Suburban Studios and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a stay—including a kitchen area, which made cooking super convenient. The appliance were full size and not like many extended stays which provide only half size appliances The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or assist if anything came up. I really appreciated how quiet and safe the property felt, which made it easy to relax and focus on work during the day. Laundry facilities on-site were a big plus, and the location was great—close to restaurants, and easy access to the highway. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, comfortable, and affordable place to stay long-term, Suburban Studios is a great choice. I’d definitely stay here again.

The kitchen had dead roaches the bath room had live roaches two of thinnest towels I’d ever seen to dry off with in my life box spring nasty dirty and dingy smoke detector kept beeping all night

Well my family has been treated bad by three hotels so when we arrived at this Suburban Studios I didn't expect much. But it's comfortable, relaxing children having fun.. very pet friendly and they help you any way possible so that you won't have any worries and you can just relax and enjoy your stay..... From the clerks to the GM my family wants to thank you and say we appreciate you hospitality and just real love and kindness as if we were family.. Thee is no problem they can't solve...

False advertising and poor quality

Very Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy: Kitchen had full size appliances. Bed was comfortable. Best value for price. Pool was relaxing. Had new washer and dryers for guest laundry. I will surely stay here again.

This place has BEDBUGS I took photos and a video and I tried working with the property to get a refund but they refused to give me anything.

This is such a great value for price.

The room didn’t look the same on the website towels were dirty and it was roaches in the room pull out couch bed smelt like piss and the room smelt smoked out. Water presser was dull and a/c didn’t work well.

Outside area is a trash dump. Shower would not stop running. Dog poop everywhere.

Really comfortable stay. Room was super clean and cozy. I will surely coming back soon. I was surprised by the room size. Check in was super easy. I was in town to visit my family. The pool was super nice. Gym had all the needed equipment. Front desk was kind to give away some additional linen. They have vending machine for snacks.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. I would surely stay here again in future. Rooms were big and spacious, bigger than my expectations with full kitchen including full size cooking range, oven, microwave and full size refrigerator which helped me store my groceries as I cooked my food myself during the stay.

The only thing i can say good about this place is the young lady working the front desk was sweet and helpful. she could easily get a better job and at high end hotel chain. The area was very unsettling. the property was old , worn and very undesirable.

I made a paid reservation which was canceled before my arrival. I was charged higher for my first day and not giving the room i requested. I had ro repay for my room and was told i would be receiving a return. I was never notified that my room was canceled and was never giving info on my returning funds? Technically i paid twice for my stay and need to talk to someone who has more info on my issue?

Other then no guide for the tv justhad to flip through the channels. Water was leaking from between the tiles in bathroom floor. But the worse about the whole stay people in the lobby all hours of the night laughing and being loud got woke up every night several times. Could not sleep at all

NOT A PLACE TO STAY.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was my first time in Houston it was my birthday trip and staying here really ruined my trip. It was supposed to be no pets only service animals I was put on the third floor which was full of pets it smelled terrible I had to listen to barking all night kids are screaming all night and morning terrible place to stay don’t waste your money.

Dirty, unsafe, a lot of in and out traffic with suspicious transactions going on that has nothing to do with the hotel, this is not a hotel this is a shelter people actually live there, there were at LEAST 12 dogs one of which was growling at me while I was at the front desk on its way out and when it came back in, while I was waiting for a solution a lady in regular clothes started mopping the reception area while on her phone and literally mopped around my feet, it smells horrible, it’s has roaches on the walls and mouse droppings, the room was dirty and dark even with the lights on looks nothing like the pictures, this was a part of my bundle package with flight hotel and car I had a 4 night stay I refused to stay there and they refused to give me a refund DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DON’T BOOK .. Thank me later

Everything was smooth with my stay. No issues

It was ok for it purpose. Stayed for 5 days for work. The room said it had a pull out bed. It did have a pull out bed, but the condition of the bed was less than acceptable. It was almost like he was sleeping with his head hanging down. Room smelled like mold so 5 days of mold smell and bad sleep for my son. Kitchen was small but did serve it purpose. Dog next door barked for hours not sure if it was left alone, not the hotels fault but the dog owners. It was a get what you pay for type deal. Id go back if I needed to but may try to find something different. Oh the pool water is green, not sure what thats all about but it would have been cool to get away from barking dog in the pool.

Yes yes yes, my room staring making this dripping noise with water coming down I had no idea bc the hole was basically hidden behind the curtain, there was a leak from upstairs a/c unit. It was so large when my husband and I laid on the bed the water actually splashed us. I started calling the front desk no one would answer. I came concerned when it was so much h I had to put a trash can underneath it so water wouldn't hit the floor bc the wire from the ac was laying on the floor . Then another problem we may have which would have been a live wire. So I called choice hotels complained to them and I told them no biggie I would ride it out until the morning bc the night person and choice hotels assured me I could move the next morning. I got moved at 4 pm the next day . Called thehotel again and complained bc not only a hole black mold infestation. Choice gave me points to get 2 nights free. I stayed one the next day the made me leave early and told choice I was a liar when I have videos , pics to prove everything.

Terrible experience, the lady at the front desk was very unprofessional and was slow. I checked in went to room and walked right out to check out. The room stunk really bad it wasn’t bearable. The hallway was dirty also n dog poop was on the floor. Overall this hotel is not a pleasant place to stay!!! Also I couldn’t get a refund

Good check-in. Front desk was great. It is a long term property I did not see that when I booked. People in hallways talking. Guest with 2 pit bulls on proerty, other dogs barking.

Checking in and they had no room available even though they showed the prepaid reservation. Found a room in poor condition that was not rentable because of repairs needed. Couldn’t get a room key because machine was broke to make them. So she let us in and couldn’t leave room without getting locked out. My stay in area was for another 3 nights, glad I only booked one night stayed elsewhere for rest of time

The toilet in my room did not flush unless I first filled the tank with water from the bathtub. There were folks smoking weed and cigs all over inside the rooms especially on the first floor where I had my room located. I asked to be put on the 3rd floor and was refused due to "our guests with animals are on that floor". The coffee pot was a joke. I've never been in such a horrible hotel. It is way below Choice Hotels standards and you should remove your name from this hotel. I will NEVER stay here ever again and will advise my friends to do the same. The stove is dated back in the 1990's. There were no utensils or even 1 single glass or plate in the room. I was missing towels and I even had to bring in my own bed blanket as they said they had no blankets for guests.
