I don't know about the financial of this place, but it shows struggle. The gym equipments are not working, washing machine most of them are broken, the pool has been out of service for over 3 months, the rooms look dares, and the parking floods when it rains. In the Houston there was no pooll and it got worse one night we were out of power for 6 hours. I actually like this hotel and it hurts me to write this difficult review. I gave you a 2. Thank you No pool for over 8 days stay, no power for 6 hours, broken equipment in the gym, broken washing machines and dryer, dated rooms,

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was very good—lots of options. The carpet in the room needed cleaning. The AC in small fitness center wasn’t working, so it was very warm in there. The weight machine was non-functional. It would be nice to replace it with one that works. It was nice that there were free weights, but I’d recommend including 15lbs, 10lbs, and 5lbs dumbbells as well. The price point was good, given that World Cup games were driving prices way up in the area.

Absolutely loved the off leash area for our pups! Room was spacious for our family, and breakfast was great too!! The pool was closed for maintenance which wasn’t mentioned at check in so we got let down upon arriving at the pool in our swim suits 😞

I urge Harris County to intervene immediately. The property is infested with cockroaches, as evidenced by the attached photo, and there is a pervasive urine odor throughout the premises. Additionally, the staff’s conduct is unprofessional and discourteous. It is deeply concerning that HotelsDotCom continues to list this establishment.

This hotel is infested with German cockroaches which can multiply like crazy and they can get into your luggage or items that you have in the hotel room & be carried back to your home, so we checked out the same day we checked in. The inside hallways & dining area were also disgusting and there were huge stains all over the carpet everywhere. Hotel is gross, dirty & smells bad.

I told her those cards people buy online are fake. I just paid the pet fees. As i was exhausted already and just didnt have the energy to educate her. I think it was $10 a day. My dog is better behaved then most children. Uses zero amenities. You should be washing the sheets and vaccuming regardleas if there is a dog in the room or not The hotel was nice. It had a fenced inyard for the dogs to run in. Despite the issue i would stay again.

My inital plans were to eat in our room in the evenings. There was a roach infestation in the kitchen... there was some crawling in the bedroom doors.

Always on point

The rose m smells bad

Switched rooms three times. 1st room ac did not work. Staff very friendly and helpful. 2nd and third rooms had bad roach problems
- 3/5
The staff. Mark and Mason were awesome. Very accommodating and if there were any issues, they took the proper steps to resolve them in a timely manner. They were actually the best thing about this hotel and my stay.
- 1/5
Don’t ever stay there! Roach motel! And wouldn’t even refund my money. I would not recommend!!! I killed 6 roaches in one night!
- 3/5
Bugs in the room, had to go buy bug spray to get rid of them. No proper venting for the dryers so it is like a sauna while you wait for your laundry. Most of the washers and dryers were broken. Pool was unusable due to parts not in for the first four days we were there. Maid service was minimal, the floors never got swept, carpets didn’t get vacuumed at all and we were there for seven days. Food was great every day and the staff were pleasant.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. Good location out of the busy areas. Building itself is nice but the rooms need some updates, bathroom in particular. I'll never understand why hotels dont just put walk in/stand in showers. Geez who is trying to take a bath in a small tub at a hotel? Maybe im the oddball i dont know. Anyways loved the staff who were really nice, especially the younger gentleman and overall I would stay there again if in the area.
- 4/5
Property was nice. Shower curtain was a foot too short and hung too high. There was a musty smell in hallway and room.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good. Carpet on 2nd floor is in dire need of replacement. Curtains in room and wall behind couch had stains; chocolate; blood(?) Extremely noisy at night; sounds of running feet throughout the night on upper floor. Smell of urine and marijuana throughout the floor.
- 3/5
The pool was out of service for our entire 10 day stay kids really disappointed
- 5/5
It was a great experience staying at the hotel,we have been staying at these hotels for a while and they are really good
- 2/5
Front desk was very friendly, however when we first entered the hotel, there was a very nasty smell; like vomit and that smell was all throughout the elevator. Our room, 326, carpets were very nasty. The fridge did not work well very noisy, and the shower curtain was no help in keeping the water off the floor. Would not go back
- 2/5
Stay was not so great. We travel alot for baseball and this was by far the worst stay. I used the restroom and there was hair on the walls of the restroom. Shower pipes didn’t work without screeching the whole time. We unloaded our stuff from the car to enter on the side of the hotel and the keypad didn’t work. Once we finally got in the building we went up the stairs with our stuff and our key didn’t work to the room. We had to go back down to the lobby.
- 5/5
To the lady that checked me in on Saturday; with the beautiful blue eyes; please forgive me for not getting your name; again thank you!! Keep being a blessing.
- 4/5
The hotel was in a safe location and front desk staff were friendly and nice. The only complaint was the cleaning service staff kept knocking at our door since before 9 am and checking every hour, even though check out was until 12 pm.
- 1/5
Police cars all over the entrance and inside the lobby, elevators, etc. Children of guests running rampant through the halls. The check-in clerk stated that the rooms were vandalized and destroyed and police had been there for four hours. My friends and I canceled our reservations and left.

I enjoyed my stay at the property. The location was very convenient to go to the airport and was very close to the shopping mall .
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful but room had bugs …
- 5/5
Staff is friendly. Suites are sufficiently clean. Could stand a little more dusting. The only complaint that I truly have is that there’s dog poop everywhere. That definitely needs to be picked up. Nobody wants to step in poop and bring it into their rooms.
- 1/5
This place is dirty and has bed bugs on the bed
- 3/5
This time it is noticeably run down compared to past conditions. Therecare stains all over on the carpets and there is a noticeable soft spot by the A/c in the double room we booked. Our 2nd room this trip had fleas in it butbthey quickly got us another room and apologized. I did not hold it against them as being pet friendly, you'd have to expect it is possible at some point people dont keep their pets taken care of to the same extent we do. The staff is very friendly and seems to be working genually to keep things in the best shape they can. The outside looks fantastic, but inside they need some maintenance over the whole place. The people would be the only reason i might return again if needed.
- 3/5
The property to convenient main road. Upon entering the room I was greeted by dead roaches on the floor. In the morning there was a roach crawling on the sink near the restroom.
- 5/5
Hotel staff were friendly and courteous!
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY. we checked in late and went up into the room. As soon as we walked into our room we saw roaches. saw five within the 1st two mins. Told the front staff about this and they would not do anything to help. We asked for our money back but was told that we had to go through hotels.com to do this. So we left and went to looked another place. Hotels.com told us that there was nothing they could do and the Hotel told us they could not refund our money because we used Hotels.com.. so basically dont expect Hotels.com to help you out any if you run into a situation with the place your staying.

We arrived a little before midnight on Saturday 08/24/2024. My Husband, my 13yr old son and myself. The receptionist behind the desk never probably greeted us and showed absolutely to customer friendly or customer care. The lobby was empty and where the only guests in the lobby. She never stood up from her desk, spoke in a tone that was unprofessional, as if we had bothered her by our late check in perhaps. She then informed me of the $50 refundable security deposit that needed to be paid as well. I booked thru a third party app, and was not aware of it, but was fine with me. My husband paid the security deposit on his card but was told before he'd even swiped his cc, that the Visa card he had, Stay bridge didn't accept that form of payment. He swiped his card, it went thru, and the receptionist seemed annoyed and/or upset that the pymnt went thru. She never gave us any time that breakfast was to be served in the morning, she was just rude all the way around. She continued to ask me when I was giving her my identification was I ready and as I told her several times that I was trying to get it out of my wallet and then she asked me if I needed help getting it out of my wallet if she was annoyed that I was there. I didn't appreciate her attitude her lack of customer service and customer care. We were tired and exhausted and just wanted to sleep in a nice room, so we thought. The air conditioning in the front room was leaking horribly and still is and the water that leaks etc
- 2/5
Unprofessional housekeeping!
- 2/5
Breakfast was not provided on second day of our stay with out any notice, that disturbed our schedule significantly.
- 3/5
This property was conveniently located for the places we needed to visit. The first room assigned to us was infested with roaches, and the manager put us in another room on a different floor with the same setup - king bed and two queen beds. We learned once Saturday hit that there is no room cleaning services on the weekend. However, the front desk arranged for a set of sheets to be delivered and we put them on ourselves. Overall, the suite we had plenty of room for a family of five and friends to visit. The decor needs to be cleaned and/or updated.
- 1/5
The hot water was off because of new water heaters needing to be installed. I was not given notice nor was I offered any compensation for the inconvenience
- 1/5
There were cockroaches on the drapes and kitchen. Funky smell throughout the building
- 1/5
I am not sure if they want me to lie here or what. When I put I HAD NO HOT WATER for showering it does not like what I am typing. The truth is I had to take 3 cold showers 1 each morning as the hotel did not have hot water.
- 3/5
Carpet is a little dirty and smelled, washer and dryers didn’t work.
- 1/5
when we got to the room my husband went in to take a shower but couldn't yet because the drain was clogged so he had to go get a plunger from the front desk and tell them that the rod was loose and i had to clean tub after he plunged it. OH and the worst part was the roaches in our room even in the silverware tray and we didn't even use the kitchen once for cooking. so we will not be staying here again. The only positive thing there was the gentleman at the front desk he was very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
The staff was great the parking was terrible.
- 3/5
Not amazing - you get what you pay for. Furniture & carpet a little tired in places. Clean enough. Breakfast was standard for American hotels (although why do they have single-use polystyrene plates and plastic disposable cutlery?). Service was good though - staff were helpful.
- 3/5
Didn’t like: no safety box, no cameras on the hall, found 1 roach at bathroom. Someone broke in on our room when we went downstairs for breakfast or while we were sleeping
- 4/5
Good breakfast. We had a couple of issues with the rust in the water, and the staff changed us to another room. I Kow is a pet-friendly hotel, which I love, but it smells bad in some areas.
- 1/5
This place needs a total remodel and deep clean. It’s was very, very gross and not cleaned. Picked up multiple thing from corners, under bed, and stuff on walls. First room smelled of smoke, it seemed like an old smoking room. Second room was on a different floor that smelled of urine and I had to clean it to because it was so late the kid and I were exhausted thankfully the sheets were clean. Don’t stay go down too the Home2suites!!!
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
The water in the bathroom sink and shower was brown. The shower did not drain, 4" of water after a minute of letting the shower run to see if the brown color went away, it didn't. And the hall ways smelled like rotten Brussel sprouts. Only good thing to say, is the staff was very nice and helpful
- 4/5
The property and staff are great 👍

Breakfast is terrible compared to other StayBridge hotels. The last time I stayed there, I thought it was on the lower level of StayBridge, but I could still put up with it. This time, however. I was there at 7:30 AM, central time, and the food, only scrambled eggs and fries, drinks were out of order and unavailable, plus the food tasted funny. I think anyone who stayed at this hotel noticed this anomaly and had the same impression. I think the employees were probably aware of this unusual situation, but were either unable to handle it or were waiting for the time to pass. I would have asked for a refund, but I only stayed one day and was busy, so I will stay away from this hotel on my next trip to the Houston area! By the way, I am a customer who only stays at StayBridge hotels. It's a shame because the other StayBridge's are usually good.
- 1/5
Wasn’t a pleasant stay
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Very good breakfast
- 4/5
Nothing was unique about the property.
- 5/5
This was a one bedroom suite with kitchen and had 2 queen beds. The air conditioner in the bedroom did not work and could not be repaired during our 5 night stay. We had to go purchase a couple of fans to be comfortable in the bedroom. We did not get any kind of reimbursement because of this and we were told the room we were in was used for corporate use. Other than that, the hotel was awesome and we will stay here again. Your staff was top notch and that made our stay enjoyable. The staff who does the cooking were on theark with the food. Everything was perfect.
- 4/5
Marc, the front desk person, was awesome. He did everything to make my stay pleasant. The first room I was given had no light bulbs for lamps and tub drain was gross. He moved me to another room and was much better. He was so nice.
- 5/5
Great, clean.
- 1/5
There were roaches. A lot of roaches
- 3/5
Elevators were disgusting. Breakfast items were running out and not replenished. Floor hallways had strong marijuana odor.
- 3/5
Our room had definitely been smoked in. Overall it was clean & the breakfast was nice.
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5
Check in was easy but nobody answered the phone at front desk when I called for Wi-Fi password.
- 4/5
Waited a long time to check in. Tried using the phone, no one answered. Same with checkout. No one came. Ran out of cups for drinks. Waited and waited for more. Just used coffee cups. Juice ran out early. Lots of trash in elevators.
- 5/5
It's such a tranquil setting! My room overlooked a pond and the large grassy courtyard in the back. It was nice to just sit outside and watch hawks, ducks herons, and a slew of other birds visit the grasslands. My room was beautiful! And everyone who works here were terrific! In fact, when I get ready to relocate to the area, I'm going to look into staying here until I find the right apartment! And it's close to everything!
- 3/5
Had 1 BR suite and asked to be away from elevator - we were assigned the closed door to elevator (Rm 228). We arrived at 5:00 PM and room not ready. We checked in at 8:00, much later than the original listed time of 3:00 PM check-in.
- 3/5
Very friendly staff. Room was stuffy and had a pet odor to it. There were some individuals staying at the property that seemed a little sketchy.
- 2/5
They authorized 2 separate credit card for the cost of our entire stay and incidentals without our knowledge. I don’t mind one authorization but 2 is uncalled for. The property is older and dingy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast staff was working very hard every morning. It seems like there are quite a few people living there and they are out early evening and morning. The police were there evicting some one the first morning we were there so that was awkward. Honestly we would have left and stayed somewhere else if we hadn’t already had 1000.00 held to cover our stay at this place. We will never stay at a location with this hotel chain again.
- 5/5
Clean well managed. Manager, Mark was professional, caring and courteous.
- 4/5
Clean facilities and friendly staff.
- 1/5
You have to be very careful when you check into this hotel it’s an indigent hotel so you have a lot of people who are staying there because they have nowhere else to go nothing wrong with that but they have a lot of dogs so all during the night all you hear is dogs barking when we got to the hotel, we asked to please change our room because every time we would go to the bathroom or flush the toilet the dogs would start barking so they changed out our room so we went to the next room very dirty, dirty carpet. There is no USB cords it located nowhere in the room. It’s the older old dated room that could really use a new paint job updated curtains, updated clean carpet you get what you pay for so just go ahead and spend an extra $10 and get a decent updated place where you have a little peace and quiet to get some rest
- 5/5
It was perfect from the moment we checked in until we checked out. A little disappointed with Saturday mornings breakfast buffet. They ran out of food too soon..However,what we did get to eat was really good. Their breakfast buffet is wonderful. We were very disappointed there were no waffles. Warm coffer, fresh juices and fountain drinks too. The buffet had it all. Our room exceeded our expectations. The beds were so soft and cozy. Pillows galore. The dvd player worked great in our room. Lots of storage space. Full sized refrigerator. The list goes on. Room was very clean and smelled great. The inner halls were clean and nice smelling as well. The pool was a little small. More suited for families with younger children. The staff was extremely helpful with anything we asked. Well worth the stay. We will most definitely be returning and RECCOMEND to all our friends , family and co workers. What a great hotel. We hated to leave.
- 5/5
If you're looking for a decently priced and convenient place to stay, the Staybridge is an excellent choice. Even with only two housekeepers, the hotel was clean. The pool and breakfast buffet were a plus! The staff did their very best to be cordial and accessible with great attitudes. I really enjoyed the apartment style of the suites with the stove, dishwasher, and fridge!
- 5/5
My family had a great time staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean.
- 4/5
Nice hotel especially for extended stays. Very comfortable with a full kitchen. They even provide dishes and utensils if you’d like to cook dinner (no oven, just a microwave and two burner stovetop). I’ve stayed at a few of these and will continue to do so.
- 5/5
The food and drinks provided on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday is a great bonus.
- 3/5
The hotel needs remodeling. Everything in the rooms aged not so gracefully. Their breakfast was OK, not as good as I experience in other hotels.
- 3/5
bathrooms dirty, rooms very congested
- 4/5
Nice and quiet, close to horse track
- 4/5
The staff was very nice, the cleanliness both outside of the hotel and inside was not what I was hoping for. There was garbage all around the parking lot, the dishes in the room were not very clean and there had been some repairs done in the bathroom that were very poor looking, wall patches etc. And the carpet was not vacuumed well. We were not in the room much and the beds were comfortable so we stayed. The staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
I like the ducks and pond
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Nice workers
- 5/5
Breakfast had plenty of choices , if you’ve stayed at stay bridge before then you know what to expect “the works”. Staff was great 😊 Loved it , will definitely be booking again .
- 5/5
This was my first stay here and it was a very pleasant and quiet one. Everyone was so friendly especially Marc at the front desk at check in. He was awesome. The breakfast was nice and hot still at 9am. Everything was great. I will definitely be staying here again and I would recommend this hotel for any stay.
- 5/5
Upon arrival we were greeted and had a positive check in experience. There was also breakfast and the room was clean and nice. It was a very good experience overall. Not to mention, there are ducks around the hotel but they’re friendly as well :)
- 5/5
Not a single issue and it was perfect to be right by (3 min drive) the Cirque Alegria venue at Sam Houston. The ducks in the pond were fun to watch too.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Everything was awesome!!!!
- 4/5
It was good hotel but the free breakfast was not good. Overall I would stay there again especially because they are pet friendly. They had a designated area for my fur baby outside. He loved it.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly, from the second we stepped in they were polite and attentive. As cliche it might sound, I really felt like they cared about the guests. Even after my checkout, they still offered to hold my luggage. 10/10 treatment!! If you look in the dictionary for the word "clean", you might find "Staybridge room" as a definition. The second we opened the door, I felt the great smell coming out of it. Just by stepping into the room, I could notice that the cleaning staff does an impeccable job. On the 2 nights, I stayed in the hotel, I did could not find one single dirty spot; either in the room, hallways, lobby, etc. The rooms are pretty good, I stayed in a room with a bed, a mini-kitchen, and a couch. It felt pretty spacious, and not claustrophobic like a lot of hotel rooms feel. Keep in mind that it was just me and my husband, different group sizes might feel different. The only "negative" point about the hotel is the location. It is around 30 minutes away from downtown Houston, which can be a pain. Granted, I went to Houston to visit the USCIS (around 10 min distance from the hotel), so it was worth it for me. Great hotel, specially for the price! I highly recommend it!
- 4/5
The staff were friendly and the location was a good neighborhood. I also liked the fact that the hotel had free washer/ dryer service. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel ran out of hand towels. I will stay at Stay Bridge suites again.
- 5/5
Good staff
- 4/5
Great location and good breakfast options.
- 5/5
This property is very clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful
- 3/5
The area felt safe, we were away from traffic. It was nice to take a drive to all the tourists attractions then come back to a laid back environment. We had a non smoking 1bdrm suite but obviously the room next door could smoke because we could smell it. Upon seeing the room it was very small so we asked could we pay the difference to upgrade to a 2bdrm. The lady at the front desk said they dont have any but the website said they did. After we told her its saying they have one but she told us she didnt mention it because the air conditioning is not thar good.🤔 The room could use some updates, wall is peeling in the bathroom and shower curtain does not prevent water from hitting the floor. I will recommend if this is the only price that fits your budget.
