This property was the worst place I have stayed. The front desk night staff Jordan is very unprofessional. Constantly on her phone and provides in correct information. The rooms are very small with alot of things in the space. Bathroom water temperature is all ways hot or super hot. Found a microwave safe plate behind one of the beds, also a child's shoe under the other bed. There are 4 different doors on the building yet only able to enter through 2. The pool is never cleaned arrived with the color light green. By the day I left the pool water was green green. Found a cockroach crawling on the TV stand. TV does not receive all the channels on the guide. Refrigerator was missing a leg so it basically fell out the frame stand everytime it was opened. Only able to be provided with 2 towels and 2 wash cloths per room. If you have more than 2 people in a room please bring your own wash cloth and towel. Pillows are very flat and worn down so bring a pillow with you. Could not iron any cloths if I wanted to there was no ironing board. Lastly do not expect more then one room key. This Sonesta property needs to be shut down and inspected by the state of Texas. DO NOT STAY HERE

Nothing Everything. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. Checked in to a room and found roaches all over the bathroom. They moved us to a different room supposedly renovated and again roaches all over the bathroom. We let the front desk about the ice machine was broken and she “oh well go to the gas station and buy.” For breakfast we were told that they serve a continental breakfast. All we got Monday through Thursday was waffles, fruit, toast, and yogurt with the choice of coffee, apple juice or orange juice. Friday through Sunday it was waffles, toasts, eggs and sausages. But we weren’t allowed to take it into our rooms. We had to eat in the lobby and have breakfast police (housekeeping manager) watching us not to take it upstairs while others took their breakfast to their rooms. Our ac stopped working. It was 4 of us in the room and they only wanted to give us 2 towels a day. It was our first time in Houston Texas and our last. The staff made our stay very unpleasant.

Some of the stuff was OK some of it wasn’t. I guess y’all pick and choose who can eat in the rooms cause I had taken my mom some food for breakfast because she’s handicap and the lady told me I couldn’t do that but I seen three other people take food to their rooms and they didn’t tell them anything but otherwise everything was fine

Its pretty far out from the main town. If you are looking for nice stay in a decent area, this is not the one. We were there for just 2 nights and I thought repeatedly why would I book this again. Bad neighborhood. The only thing is its comparatively cheaper than other hotels. Don't fall for Sonesta name. They refused to give us breakfast the only morning we were in citing power cut issues.

No phones in the rooms. No microwave in the rooms. No ice machine working in the the whole Hotel. Horrible service. Will never ever book there again

Room smelt horrible (cigarettes) burning holes on blankets, and i reserved a non smoking room, water pressure is very low, 8 feet long pothole in parking lot, if you fall your car is gone, shady people coming in an out, someone was yelling, cussing and fighting on the hallway at 3am. People hanging around in the parking lot all night, that breakfast was the worse breakfast i’ve ever had, didn’t even finish it, bland eggs, powder orange juice and gray flavorless sausages , it was cheap and i thought it was a nicer hotel for a good deal, it wasnt, a Motel 6 would’ve been nicer provably

I didn't even stay there that's the bad part I was charged. I was told there was no room available

Did not like the $100 deposit. Only problem properties require this type of deposit. Amenities like laundry, business center & first floor bathrooms were not in service. Back door inoperable. Slight moldy odor in room.

The area is just not a good area at all. Lots of homeless people walking around the area.

We received breakfast vouchers, and all they had was waffles, toast, cereal and juice. One of my family members asked the kitchen staff lady for fruit yet she never acknowledged she just looked at her in an ugly manner but shortly later brought the fruit. Dissatisfied

Great, however, the staff had not replenished the breakfast items at all. We arrived well on time for breakfast. There was barely anything. Some lady who also arrived with us, requested for the food to be replenished, but the staff didn't seem to care. Finally, after several people complained, they brought a few slices of bread and re-filled the milk. This was the worst breakfast experience.

Staff was great, rooms need an update,, bit overall a nice place to stay.

The room it self was nice, but that was all. The staff was very rude. Tried to call the front desk for over an hour, no one answered. Thank goodness it wasn't an emergency. The air conditioner was very loud and wasn't working properly. There is a hole in the driveway that you can not get around. Over all, we will not be staying there again.

Great location next to many restaurants and a gas station. Walking in the lobby, very fresh, clean v.s. The room smelled like something has been wet and dried. The cleaning staff was friendly, overall 4/5

Not worth the money. They state they have a free buffet...the options are beyond sparse and they didnt have any water. The morning manager was kind to me and my kids.

Don’t stay here. The hotel is in a bad part of town. The rooms smelled like mold, tobacco and other substances that are illicit…The room was so dirty and disgusting as well as the whole hotel. I checked in and checked right out and want my money back. Luckily I did the deposit with cash and was able to get it back right away. DO NOT STAY HERE. Expedia you need to do better.

The road was neglected, the staff that checked me in was so rude, no water to brush and shower for like 8hrs with no pre notice. How can a hotel not have on-site manager, the hotel is so old, with poor management.

I used to stay here a lot until the morning lady at the front desk accused me of smoking inside my hotel room, and did not give me back my $100 deposit. This is the messed part. I don’t even smoke. How does this make any sense. I didn’t like the fact that they kept my deposit because of the front desk lady thought I smoked inside my room and I don’t even smoke. Not cool.

I booked for 4 nights the queen suite w kitchen. Everything was perfect, i enjoyed the comfortable spacious room i ended up staying 3 more nights.

Front desk treats you very poorly, no respect. Our room was ok.. the bed was vey low to the floor... Breakfast bread was hard milk was bad... No security its surrounded area in not the best... i did not feel safe i would not go back to this hotel. Thus us a personal opinion its my experience anyone might have different. We never stayed in thos hotel we thought it was great but we would not go back. Personaly I thought it woukd be good but no. We lost almost 300 dollars and it was extremely exhausting staying there..

Hell nah... Terrible area of town, broken elevator buttons, shower in room did not work. Receptionist was very courteous, although she was new and inexperienced. I checked in and immediately checked out and went elsewhere. Avoid the headache and book elsewhere. The 1 star is for the amazing receptionist, the facility would receive 0 stars if possible.

The coffee maker. Towels in bathroom were clean. Cockroach's and loud music next door to my room. Dirty and stained furniture. Scratchy sheets.

Got there after driving 20 hrs tired as all heck to be greeted by a rude manager. Had to change rooms 3 times stayed on 3rd floor with no working elevator?!?

I was very disappointed. The room I paid for seemed to be not available , and be prepared for roaches to visit. This made it difficult to sleep and feel comfortable. I hope management addresses the cleanliness issues soon, as this location has potential but needs major improvement in hygiene and maintenance.

Its an older hotel. In fairly good shape though. Quiet, clean. Room was nice. Breakfast was excellent. Pool sparkling clean. Check in and out was a breeze. We really enjoyed our stay. Would use this hotel again for our next trip.

The pictures are deceiving. This looks more like a motel. The elevators were down and cable was out. I did appreciate them transferring my reservation to the Holiday Inn with no charge. The young lady upfront was very nice as well.

My kids enjoyed the stay the only concert is people walking around in the building and Homeless sleeping inside in the pool

We did not stay at that place. At arrival, there were two untrustable persons, one outside and the other one was inside the location, this one joined the one outside. When my family noticed that, they got nervous and we decided to leave the place, at the same time we asked for reimbursement and they denied to reimbursement.

Roaches was coming out the walls & ac unit

Breakfast was weak. Bedroom was ok besides toilet not working then the maintenance man supposedly came to fix it just for it to break again. Housekeeping didnt bring fresh towels the whole weekend.

I was highly disappointed with my stay. After we paid they waited to inform us the elevators were out and the maintenanceman will be there to fix it. It never got fixed and I stayed on the 4th floor so i had to carry everything up and down. Also had holes in the walls and Roaches inside the bedroom and Livingroom. I informed the staff and they said it was nothing they can do and they have no on-site manager. I will never stat there again

After a long day of travel, we checked into the hotel around 6. The room smelled terrible, I was hoping that after we went to go eat dinner the smell would subside and we would be ok. I was wrong, and the smell seemed worse. The room was on the third floor. I went down to see if they had a different room, because the smell was so bad. The women at the front desk was very nice and tried to be accommodating. She seemed like she was very overwhelmed. She said at first there were no rooms with double beds but she could try and give a room with one bed and a pullout. She went to check to make sure the room was clean and came back and said room was good, this was on the fifth floor. I took the elevator up, which was loud and sounded like it was going to break, but the key she gave me didn’t work. At this point my family had packed their stuff and was waiting in lobby. I came back down and told her it wouldn’t work. At that point she said she found one more double room that might work, or else she would have to accommodate me a at a different hotel. This time we tried the room on the second floor and this time it worked. The room was okay and didn’t smell. We were able to use the stairs and avoid the elevator, one was loud and one didn’t work. Other issues included no hot water for showers, which was extremely inconvenient. We also never had enough towels because there was four of us and they’d only replace with two. So each time they replaced towels I had to ask for more.

The only thing that was good about this property is that it was a roof over our head it was not refundable or I wouldn't have stayed and I sure wouldn't have stayed if my children would have been with me it is not safe there is people walking around outside all hours of the night hollering , you can hear every thing and every vehicle that's on the interstate All night Long the week before I stayed there there was three people shot one block over it is not a good neighborhood and especially not good if you have children one lady at the front desk Sarah she was very rude the lady for the breakfast watches you eat breakfast just stands there and watches you the whole time not to mention that I was in one room and the TV went out and they moved me to another room and at midnight on my last night someone was trying to break into my room because they headed marked as vacant they didn't put on there that I was staying there it was very scary I do not recommend zero Stars

The elevator making a loud squeaking noise, kept waking me up that needs to be maintenance and dangerous to be used

My stay at the sonesta was good ,I was a little worried at first because the pool was closed & I was looking forward to swimming, I couldn’t get in the fitness room to work out and my room I had at first looked like someone tried to break in! But over all . I stayed because is was clean and quiet .I sleep like a princess, the workers were wonderful & polite and the restaurant around the hotel was delicious. I would stay there again.

The front desk workers were all very friendly. The housekeeping were wonderful at keeping the room stocked. The kitchen was great

The room I initially had AC was out and when confronted front desk I was assigned another room with AC but a smaller bed which was inconvenient

Room Ac was not working at all the room was already hot because it’s about 98 degrees outside in Houston Texas the room looked nothing like the photos online had to pay a 100$ deposit fee upon upon checking in I was told i will get it back . Left and I had a feeling to check my bank account just to see I had been charged 3 times so 300$ total the clerk wasn’t the issue he tried to help the property itself and the customer service is horrible do not spend your money here you’re better off sleeping in your hot car

I liked the way the were eager to help us and they were very detailed on explaining the policy. The only thing I did not like about the property was the rushing of house keepers they were rushing us to leave. Very rude like.

Waited around 15 minutes no one came out to get us taken care of had to call multiple times to get someone to check us in.

When we got to the property and checked in. Our room was muggy and humid like the window was cracked open. In addition, the bathroom was not clean and the sheets were dirty. We checked out immediately

Nothing spectacular, average room with a bed, did not see any roaches. Stayed in room and left. AC and TV worked. No problem at 4pm check in. Lobby was kinda warm and dated. $60 deposit which was refunded back on credit card in a couple days.

The only hot food is the waffle you make yourself. The hotel needs serious renovation. Major potholes in parking lot. Positive many restaurants within 5 minutes.

I have booked a room, went to hotel homding my confirmation number- and a very rude reception man told me they don’t have available rooms! How can it be possible to book a room in the hotel go there and they tell you they don’t have available room?!

The employees were rude, and were actually nowhere to be found when we tried to check in. There was no phone in the room. The only ice machine was on the 4th floor and didn't work. There was hair on my toilet paper. Only one elevator worked. There is no first aid kit on site, or so we were told when my husband asked for a bandaid. The fence around the property is so full of blank spots and broken poles that it should just be taken down. Did not feel safe.

Do not stay here - they will give any one access to your room and your things will be gone and then not refund your deposit back . I am filling a negligence lawsuit against this hotel and the owner/operator and the employee conducting shady inappropriate business .

This hotel was absolutely disgusting and completely unorganized. The first room they gave me had two cockroaches crawling around before I could even set my bags down. That alone was enough to make me question the cleanliness of the place. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and they reassigned me to another room—only for me to walk in and find someone already in there! I felt terrible for invading that person’s privacy, but that’s on the hotel for being so careless and unprofessional. The lack of organization and cleanliness here is shocking, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect location for shopping and having dinner

Beware there is a deposit at this location. Booked thru Expedia didn't know until I arrived.

Overall place was nice & affordable. Breakfast cleaning staff was rude telling us why we did we use butter for waffle machine instead of of cooking spray & why we didnt pull out our waffle out if it was ready. 1. machine didnt beep 2. What is it to her if i like butter in my waffle. What a way the start the morning. If she didnt feel like working she should of stayed home no wonder why we were the only people at breakfast, she ran all of them off.

Lady That Works Here Front Desk Is Horrible Keep Knocking At My Door Bothering Me And My Kids Complained About My Kids Riding They Bikes Told Management To Not Let Me Extend My Stay Third Floor Is Packed With Roaches Rushed My Kids out The Breakfast Area Her And Lobby Cleaner Sat And Talked About My Kids Pointing They Finger Just A Nightmare And No One Deserves THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT JUST SAD. AND I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

This is an older motel. We were in town for christmas and were not planning on staying. However, it got really late and we found the hotel closest as it was pouring rain. The staff was so so friendly, the hotel smelled and looked very clean. It is older and a little outdated but the price was really good to lay our heads down. The place was clean the bed was comfy. Dont expect fancy, but u do receive great service and clean place.
