Major language problem. Staff had scheduling problems. They wanted us to check out between 9 and 10 am instead of our 7:30 am preferred time. If you are checking out early due to s shortened medical stay, don't expect a refund without a fight. No medical discount either.

We booked this hotel kind of last minute, so I was a little nervous- The property itself seems a little bit older, but the owners have done an excellent job maintaining this property. We had a room with a kitchen and everything looked freshly painted. The parking lot lines and exterior looked freshly painted. The grout, sheets, and towels were all bright white- we were very pleasantly surprised. Both staff at the front desk that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient location. It's a 15 minute walk to the train station ti take the Red Line, and if you're driving easy access to major roads like Almeda and Kirby to get downtown. Clean room.

Stayed here one night for a World Cup game. Close to NRG Stadium and the highway. Property felt safe and was well-lit, which is nice as a solo female. Room was spacious and had mini fridge, microwave and hairdryer. Great room for the price, especially during a major sports tournament.

A very basic hard floor room, clean and functional enough for a no frills sleep space. Drainage is slow with bath and sink. Though staff helped to get WiFi connected with my phone, the WiGi was weak and, frankly, useless.

Location to NRG Stadium for Houston rodeo excellent. This is preference. I have long hair to the middle of my back and the water pressure for a shower is low. The bed is extra firm. If you like extra firm mattress and short hair for showers then the place is right for you. Wasn’t a horrible stay. My review is based off my preference only. Clean, friendly staff, great location for the Houston rodeo!

The room had an excellent TV and AC unit both looked fairly new. Great location for the Stadium and the car park was the best lit one I have ever seen. Felt safe , we will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, the hotel does not look all that great and it is Almeda, but I was so happy when I opened the door to the room and it looked like it had been recently remodeled. The air condition worked perfectly and there was no mold in the bathroom. Woohoo! I gave the staff four stars because I had a few issues when I checked in, but they were all resolved before I left the office. Will definitely stay here again!

The place was great for our needs. We only needed minimal accommodations as we were only needing a place to sleep. The staff was excellent to work with. Room was clean.

The area looked ok. The parking lot seemed safe and well lit. There's only one way in/out of the lot which keeps people from wandering around the parking lot off the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The A/C was really cold and the room was clean. There is no breakfast or coffee in the lobby (as stated in the Hotels.com website) but that didn't matter to me. All in all Iwould definitely stay again. It's a short drive to NRG area as well. The room was really spacious and included a small sofa and coffee table. Great stay and i recommend it.

Everything is updated, they need new shower head, the water pressure is not that strong. But really enjoyes it.

A/C worked fine. The door did not seal well at all, allows light under and around the door. The tub was not clean at all…long hair. Bed was clean. Someone gave this place 3 1/2 star rating but should only be a one star.

Spotless room, friendly staff. Close to NRG. Dont let the look from a distance deceive you. It looks from a distance like an older hotel, but when you pull in you realize inside and out it is in grest condition. Parking lot well lit. Felt very safe staying there.

Staff ok, had continental breakfast listed in info section. None avail. & still had sign up on wall that due to Covid 19, Houston city council was not allowing continentdl breakfast to be offered. Staff said they had just never started it back up once allowed. Office area had extremely strong nauseating incense/ essential oil smell. Room clean and comfortable. Also had no airport shuttle avail.

Room was okay. Bathroom door would not close and sink did not have a plunger, there was the danger of dropping something down it. Drain was iffy in the bathtub sometimes not draining.

In town for a NFL game with my son and it was close to stadium. Clean, comfortable, and got a free upgrade. They had a storm related power outage the night before and I got a phone call updating me on the power restoration progress twice. Super management and very helpful! Even let me leave my car there after checkout and Uber to the game and back. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel was like a motel very small parking lot. Too many people coming in and out all night long. The light in the parking lot was dem. The only good thing that it was close to NRG.

Staff was extremely polite. Definitely helpful and professional. Room was clean and smelled nice. Insulation on the exterior walls was a little lacking so it was slightly louder than it should’ve been. Also weatherproofing wasn’t great. Had about a half inch crack underneath the door that goes outside. Otherwise, good stay definitely worth the money!

When I walked into the front office, I was taken aback by the bad smell. I thought I made a mistake by booking a room in this hotel. The man at the front desk said they would not have any coffee in the morning either. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The coffee in the room tasted awful. I had to go to the nearby gas station to get decent coffee. Overall stay was okay. I will even come back and stay here with adjusted expectations.

The room we received was not ready or was occupied by someone. Got another room but the AC had a problem and the air it produced was super humid that our floor in the morning was wet.

I feel very misled because this place has a rating MUCH HIGHER than it deserves. And the room rates are far higher than the value received. While the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the property felt unsafe. Front desk employees are behind thick bulletproof glass and guests are left totally exposed to the surrounding bad neighborhood. Located right next to the freeway, traffic noise is horrible. Also, my socks were filthy after just minutes of walking around in my room. I would never stay here again.

I haves stayed here for many years it is convenient to Houston rodeo for the volunteers.

The hotel is ran very well and kept clean. Bed was comfortable. The parking lot is very well lit. The only downside was that the highway noise was loud at times, but eventually subsided at night. For the price, cleanliness and service, you cant beat this hotel. Highly recommend!

Very good room, great price for the area, quick, convenient location. But traffic noise is noticeable, due to how close it located to busy streets (Alameda) and to the the 610 Loop.

We were pleasantly surprised of how nice they have made a nice old motel. They don't have coffee makers in the room and they don't have a lobby or breakfast. So don't go expecting coffee first thing in the morning. But it is a nice simple and clean motel. Not a hotel.

The location is convenient and plenty of free parking space. Due to Covid, no complimentary breakfast is offered. The bed is comfortable, and room is quite spacious.

1.25 walk to nrg stadium, which was our reason for picking this location. We were in town for a weekend concert .Rooms were surprisingly large and very clean. Bare bones amenities . We needed a place to get a hot shower and good night sleep at a reasonable proce and that's exactly what we got. We will stay again for our next show visit.

I had to stay last minute in the Houston area when spirit airlines had a major malfunction. Because of the recent hurricane, it was price prohibitive to stay near the airport. I managed to find Scottish Inn and suites and booked quickly, Just to ensure a place to sleep for the night. Upon arrival, Gaj (George) looked after me, and he was absolutely amazing. Making sure I had everything I needed and giving me tips about the area when I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised! It is by far the cleanest place. I’ve stayed at in ages, and it was comfortable and extra spacious. I’d had a really awful day of travel, and this was like an absolute oasis from me. I highly recommend!

Got put into a smoking room for some reason. It smelt horrible! The sheets were a faint yellow from the room being smoked in. All of our clothes smell like smoke. Very disgusting

Staff was wonderful. Bed was horrible but great pillows. Room was damp and musty. Great water pressure. Spotty TV the first 2 nights. Convenient location but bad neighborhood. Had some crazy guy on a bicycle shouting and pounding on doors at 3AM.

But overall , it was not a bad stay . I slept well. But it could have been better.
