I honestly didn’t there was roaches and stains everywhere and I had got my car keys stolen It was nasty they don’t care for the people that are staying there

I had freaking bad experience with that hotel, and didn’t even give me a refund. I wasn’t there for five minute and it was disaster. It was dirty. I didn’t even feel safe and there. I don’t recommend this for anyone if they wanna go in this please do not go in this hotel.

I didn’t like it at all One of the staff was rude the black man with the hair he pick with every one and he said he own the place that’s his place he kick me and my kids out saying I was a fellon and I was smoking weed and I was not smoking weed at all I mind my business I fell like they was wrong for kicking me out me and my kids when they have pimps there when u pull up mans outside and gurl selling they body it’s a lot people are fellons the owner never once wanted to talk to me because he don’t want to be there they all leave at the hotel half of the staff

I booked this place for two days, but I couldn’t even stay for one day because it was so dirty. The air conditioner doesn’t work, everything is broken, and the place is full of cockroaches. This is completely unacceptable.

Want a refund. Room had stains on sheets and roaches.

In plain sight the inside of the lobby looks tidy not clean but not filthy. The furniture is outdated. Roaches are everywhere. The elevator is very hot and roaches are everywhere. The rooms: out dated furniture. The tubs are stained filthy. The television didn’t work. Roaches was all over the bed, inside the television, microwave, and refrigerator. The entire property smells of roaches dog urine and trash. The people that’s willing to stay there is of very low class and hostile. I checked in at 3pm and checked out shortly afterwards. Please take head to the 1 star reviews. Everyone of them stated the truth. There’s nothing nice about this property at all. You will not get a refund! I asked management if the entire property was infested with roaches and he stated “yes because people cook in their rooms during their stays.” THIS PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD

Property was full of trash everywhere including the halls. Not enough lighting in the parking area. Roaches in the halls and all over the rooms including the bed. Room smelled like cigarettes and the bed spread had cigarette burns. My bf went to go tell the front desk and all he said was he was going to notate it down. We left didn't even stay not even 20 min while we looked for another hotel. Hotels.com was not helpful either. Rude and hung up on me.

So so durty, shower curtains full of mold, bed sheets was used, towel with yellow spots, mattress so so old, bed has bed bugs, window so dirty, in the room no outlets.floor filthy, AC rusty, moldy, dirty. My room was on 6th floor, I walked into room and couldnt belive the condition. I felt unsefe and dirty. I was ready walk out from that hotel, but it was 3 am, and I have just 4 hrs before my appointmemt. I felt so discusting after i left hotel. OHSA should check it out and closed this place for dood. Its not healthy invirament

When I arrived it was raining the hotel worker blocked the driveway so I couldn’t park out of the rain. He stopped in the middle of the parking space to tell me he was not moving up. He checked us in, it’s my husband’s birthday we live in Willis Tx an hour away. I paid with my Affirm card the attendant asked me for more money. I protested letting him know I paid in full he stated he needs $40 or he can just cancel it. Well I gave him $40 and got my key and went to eat. When we returned went up to our room the key didn’t work. When we were returning to the room we noticed the condition of the hotel. It was terrible, I was embarrassed at our surroundings. It smelled terrible , it was dirty and there were people hanging around. The front lobby is not what the picture looked like. The room was dirty the beds were horrible. I took pictured this place should be condemned. It is not fit to be called a hotel. We checked in at 3:00 pm and we checked out at 6:00 pm. The bed was so nasty the carpet was dirty and nasty. Our microwave did not work our frig didn’t work. We went back home oh my God. I’m so glad my husband had a wonderful meal and great drinks at dinner. Because our trip was a disaster. Don’t come to this place at all.

Do not book here , there’s a 40$ deposit that takes three days to get back on card. Kids were sitting in the lobby all night and day , everything was broken including the tv in our room , it was clear someone punched it. There was a broken table in the corner , smelt like mold . Lamps were ripped off , no trashcan inside the room. If there’s another hotel even for 5-10$ I highly advise you book that one

The property outside is very trashy and there’s no security. My van been broken into it outside when I asked the front desk if they have a security camera to see who break into my van they said there doesn’t have a camera outside. Is that safe to stay there is that Security is not clean. It’s very very terrible place

This Place was nothing like the pictures that are on Hotels.com. it is more like a stay for months at a time. The location is not save. The room we checked in to was nasty. The person that checked us in was rude and yelled at me because I had a hard time hearing him. So because of all of this we did not stay and I lost my money for the stay. And the health department needs to go and do an inspection.

The picture shown in this app is NOWHERE near what it actually looked like. It was run down. I had a serious roach problem. The carpet in my room was dirty and torn up. There were holes in my walls. The refrigerator was pulled out from where it should have been. Even one of the other hotel visitors told me "this place is so ghetto". Please do not pick this place, especially if you're staying with family. Parking lot did not feel safe either.

I will say, the staff that I did interact with was nice and polite. None of the above is likely their fault. But the owners of this place need to be held accountable.

Roaches, there are roaches here. And no hot water. If your desperate to stay somewhere, sure but i would absolutely find anywhere else!

The tv was left on and the remote didn't even work when we checked in. The bathroom had only 1 towel. The a/c was not cold it said 54 but felt more like 75 degrees.

The staff weren't rude at all, and the hotel room was sort of clean. The floor could've used a carpet cleaner, and maybe some surfaces could've been wiped down. However you get what you pay for. The bed was uncomfortable as well.

If I could give it no stars I would. The only thing good I could say about the hotel is got to stay is over. The staff wasn't bad I feel sorry for them for having to be in those conditions as well. Pulling up to the hotel I thought it was abandoned, there were no lights in the parking lot, and it looked haunted. The room looked like it could have been in American horror stories, beyond creepy, stains everywhere, maybe two and a half channels worked on the TV, honestly I was scared to sleep on the mattress. Although the sheets were clean, I still sup with my clothes on including my jacket. They had the nerve to charge a $40 deposit for incidentals and or damages. I don't know how they will be able to tell if they were damages because it already looked damaged to begin with. They considered as late checking out so they kept our deposit, but hey I guess they have to get their money somehow.

This room looks nothing like the photos online. It’s roach infested! I did not stay. Once I got there I walked right out and dis not get my refund! The dude at check and was very rude and over charged my card after I’d booked 3rd party! The entire building smiled like pee! I’m furious and I was having a major surgery the next day. I travel 9 hours to Houston only to be met with a room like this. I understand it’s priced low but omg it was so discussing in that building! I cried so hard because of the disappointment.

Saw them crawling on the wall upon entering the room. When I complained I was given another room on a different floor, that also had bugs. Absolutely unacceptable. Did not stay. Do not recommend that you would either. You get what you pay for I guess. Zero stars should be an option.

Yes the room felted so neglected so out dated of the pictures. Really poor hygiene that they have. It was really bad. Staff just didn’t care.

The front desk clerk refused to check us in, was using foul language to us, threatened to call the police on us when we asked questions trying to understand what was happening. When i went back in to get his name and the company's contact information, he refused to give either to me and said he was watching the football game. He was the rudest and angriest person I have dealt with in the hospitality field.

The property looks nothing like it does on hotel.com…. The elevator was not working and my room was on the 6th floor. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The air conditioner was leaking water on the inside of the room and the carpet all around it was wet… The room had a horrible smell that hit you when first walk in. The patio door would not close all the way so had to listen to traffic passing through the night

I’ve been making a lot of trips to Houston over the last four years because my daughter’s been at school there. This hotel was the bottom of the barrel worst hotel I’ve stayed at so far. And granted it’s not expensive. But it was like walking through trash and broken windows and shopping carts set up around the opening of the building. And then when I went in, it was like a homeless center. It took the man way too long to get to me, because I had to get back to the school. It was just overall a really bad experience. And I tried to cancel my reservation, and I’ll probably have to deal with that later.

The guy at the front counter was very rude and unprofessional. The whole place stinks and is filthy. The parking lot is also dirty. The whole place looks run down and not took car off. The rooms smell like mold and the beds look like they have bed bugs. I ended up leaving this place .

This hotel is a scam. I've already filed a complaint with Hotels.com and am awaiting a refund. The photos on the Hotels.com website are not true to form. From the moment you enter, everything is terrible. The walls and floors were extremely dirty. The service was terrible. The hallway leading to the room was like a dead animal. The entire hallway and bedroom carpet was completely stained and dirty. The bedroom wall was damaged. The bathroom smelled like it had been abandoned. The shower faucet wouldn't turn off. The light switch in the bathroom didn't work. Absolutely a scam.

This place was ass and I think they stole my credit card information because he kept looking at my card and it looked like he was trying to memorize the numbers specially the security numbers in the back. Then 2 days later my card gets used in California so I'm guessing he did steal my information . My bank notified me that there was something wrong and cancelled my card in time

I was disappointed with my experience at Romana Hotel. Rather than a traditional hotel environment, the property resembled a marketplace for smoking-related products. I was surprised to see this property listed on Expedia, as it does not seem to meet the expected standards for accommodations. I hope Expedia will reconsider its listing criteria to ensure a more conventional hotel experience for travelers.

The service so so so terrible that’s it

This was literally the worse hotel I have been to. I checked in and checked right out. The guy at the front desk was so unprofessional. He was constantly yelling and using words he shouldn'thave.. I have a video of him arguing with a guest. I have over 20 pictures of how dirty and unsafe this place was.There was mold in our room & the guy refused to refund me.

I don’t not recommend this place! Place is not like the pictures! Seems the picture on Hotels.com are from when they first opened. I got there I could not check in. They said I had to be back at 3:30 pm when check in was at 3 pm. After I checked in way pass 3:30 pm, went to my room and smelled bad. Undid the bed and saw stains on the bed. I left and wanted to cancel because of the way it was nasty. I left and got another room somewhere else. Would not recommend at all.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If you can afford to stay somewhere else please do. there was nothing good about this place. Roaches everywhere, THE SMELL, sheets dirty and NOT CLEAN AT ALL. I did not know what I was getting myself into when I booked. I booked to stayed 3 nights but only stayed half a night. I just couldn't do it. I slept in my car.
