The pool area was very clean, loved having access to a basketball court. Hallways were a bit hot/humid

The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was great. I picked this particular location because I knew it would be a great choice due to past experiences when i booked the meeting rooms. However customer service could have been a little better,more welcoming. Also housekeeping blocks the isle with there carts. It is totally understandable you are cleaning but the cart doesn’t have to be in the middle of the aisle making it difficult to pass. Other than that I enjoyed my stay

However, property should enforce the no smoking policy as all hallways and room smell! Had to change rooms twice due to smell. The wear and tear on the furniture is also showing! The living room furniture is at the point where it should be replaced (sofa/chair dip when you sit) especially given how dirty they are. The rooms are cleaned really well by staff.

The price was affordable and the overall experience was great. Would definitely stay here again if I ever travel in the area. The location and the facilities were nice The staff. I drove hours to come check in, I was not able to check in until late the night of 6/13. Once we checked in the lady did not give me a receipt when I asked after being checked in she said I’ll receive one during check out, never heard of it. I went to dinner right after checking in so didn’t bring my bags in. When I came back from dinner, and went to check in my room. Someone was already in my room! Clothes were all on the floor and the bed, a suitcase was open w clothes inside, a big Louis Vuitton bag on the floor. I went back down to the front desk there was someone different, it was man, I told what was going on him what happened, and he gave me a new room, no issue. The next morning I was being accused of not reserving my stay when I showed proof! The general manager was unprofessional, rude and disruptive. She told she would look at the cameras, never did. I was ever upset. I do understand things happen. My issue was my rest, comfort and stay was disruptive and I feel accused instead of the general manager coming to me to let me know the issue was. She decided to accuse me and didn’t try to explain or ask me what I’ve been through. She kept saying I knew whomever was in the first room, when I told many times I did not. Corporate will be notified of this experience.

Staff was good

Cleanliness of the property. Attendant should not leave the main desk even for a minute. It is important for me as I had seen guests were waiting and no employee was behind the desk.

Everything was good the breakfast and staff only thing the pool was a bit on the dirty side but everything else was good.

The room I LOVED! The kitchenette mind you they have everything for you all you have to do is provide food you’d like to cook lol, Me and my family slept good the comfy beds we had the (one bedroom 2 queen beds) it was no noise very quiet security was also on site at night and after a certain time you will have to provide your room key to enter the building that’s a plus these days.. I can go on lol definitely recommend especially a family stay

I really liked the service provided by the staff—they were very cordial, and I absolutely loved the way they treated me. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent.

Disappointed the basketball rim was hanging off. Many families brought a ball to play and it was basically unusable. May be don't promote it if its broken.

The hotel itself was clean overall. The rooms were clean, public spaces including bathrooms, laundry and dining were all great. My biggest complaint is that housekeeping was every other day, which was fine. But then we would be out until 3 or 4pm and they still hadn’t come. By that time we needed to get ready for dinner or give our kids naps

Great place to stay for those that are disabled. The walk in shower was nice with the hand held shower head and I was able to get my walker everywhere without issue.

First Time at this hotel basketball net was missing but other then that Hotel really legit.

Overall, staff and property were great and place was very clean. Only issue was the internet was out majority of the time so no television which made it a bit inconvenient.

This is a fairly basic hotel for those looking for a less expensive and longer-term stay. Very few restaurants or eati g options nearby. Room was clean and pleasant enough - limited breakfast options. Parking was great though.

We stayed at this hotel for family vacations in Houston, it was one of the best decisions of our trip. The hotel it’s located right in the middle of the main attractions and places to go in Houston. The rooms are incredibly nice, bed and room in general comfortable.

I travel frequently, around 50-60 times per year, and I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Houston West/Beltway 8 on Clay Rd from February 27, 2024, to March 3, 2024, in Room 138. It was a business trip. From the first day I checked into the hotel until the last day, there was no hot water. My colleague, who was in Room 139 next to mine, also experienced this issue. These rooms are designated for people with special needs, and I'm unsure if the lack of hot water is related to this. Despite informing the reception, the only solution provided was a spray to mask the odor when I discovered my sofa reeked of urine. It was only on the last day when I raised my voice that they offered me the option to shower in a different room. Consequently, this will be my final stay at this location and possibly within the entire Marriott chain in Houston.

I booked a pet friendly hotel on Expedia and when I arrived at the hotel with my small dog, they charged me a $100 non-refundable pet “cleaning” fee. I was not happy, especially for the fact that I am a Titanium Elite Member and my pet is cleaner than most people. The front desk could have cared less that I was a TE member and she wouldn’t let me earn my points since I booked the hotel through Expedia where it looked like I wouldn’t have non-refundable pet depasit.I won’t be staying here again.

The entire hotel experience was amazing! The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast served the best food and the staff was so friendly and help.

Property is clean. Surrounding area is not good. I had gone only by the ratings online and when we arrived wished I had researched the area. We drove in late and picked up pizza from a local place which was still open. Breakfast was poor for a Residence inn. The drinking water was super chlorinated, boiled eggs tasted like had been refrigerated several days and the waffles were dry. The scrambled eggs and rest were ok. If you just need to spend a night in transit, it will work. Just figure out the restaurants before you drive in.

Clean and convenient. However, I checked in online and never did receive a text letting me know when our room was ready. Arrived at 2:30 and was refused check-in (30 mins early) even though the hotel was nowhere near full. Overall, would still stay.

Swimming pool out of Order every day just tell us tomorrow inspection will be done and we open the pool but unfortunately I have done full my vacation still pool out of service…. On part of this all is great…

Our room itself was comfortable, but noisy. A lot of traffic noise and noise from other guess. The complimentary breakfast was awful. Also, we were told we would have fresh towels every 2 days and the trash removed, that never .

Breakfast was less than desirable, cold and didn’t seem fresh. Only had two bananas which were chosen by guests in front of me. Staff was friendly and the hotel was extremely clean and well cared for.

I only had breakfast there once and is no embassy suites breakfast but it was fast and well cooked. All of the staff is very friendly and attentive. I have returned to this place and will keep staying here. I definitely recommend this place.

The mgr at the Front desk, Chris, was awesome, Very friendly, welcoming and was absolutely cordial and polite to my parents whom I was checking in for a few days.

Very nice hotel. The staff were amazing and friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The pool was great. My only complaint was that the the Wi-Fi in the room was very poor.The Smart TV kept buffering even after I restarted it. It was impossible to stream hardly anything. I eventually had to upgrade and pay for the better service. But I still loved the hotel.

Stared is very nice. Shower and products like shampoo, conditioner and body wash were exceptional. Need and pillows were perfect. My only complaint was the internet and tv. The signal on the top floor was bad and the TV kept buffering
