As U come in area looks scarey till u see it’s Construction of a Old building! The site says breakfast but nothing but juice n coffee! Front seat last amazing man deal guy no English n not attentive to You! Rooms very neat n clean ac very cold property quiet will go to this location again

The room smelled like weed and definitely didnt seem safe for younger children.

I've visited pretty much all the hotels in the area and there's always some issue. Red Roof is just the better hotel and I'll be coming back.

At the price I paid, I knew I was going with a bare bones property and boy, was this exactly that! The room was clean, but very “spartan”—lacking in any kind of vibe or comfort. The rooms are all outdoor-accessible, so background noise with kids playing in the parking lot, et al, and having to squeeze past some rather sketchy looking other guests was. . .interesting. The office staff was behind glass, so who knows the story there. But again: this place was cheap (the World Cup was going on in Houston and that kicked up both hotel and rental car rates), so one needs to temper certain expectations of luxury. Still, a couple of things prospective guests should know about: the room was too warm for a Texas summer. The air conditioning could not be set below a certain degree and that affected being able to sleep. There was low water pressure in the tub shower and the surface was very slick—dangerously so. I’d be amazed if older people or those physically compromised have not fallen in those tubs. It was kind of scary. Definitely a case of “you get what you pay for” and I concede that for families needing more than one room, for example, this place might be right for their budget.

The staff watched my family and I as if we didn't belong...the hotel was packed!!! And they stood downstairs from our room and just watched 👀 our room, at point him and his wife would walk the property parking lot past our car staring at our room. The staff made our stay extremely uncomfortable for no reason we did nothing wrong, we followed the rules!! But was profiled from the time we checked in to the time we checked out

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. I liked that I could see my car from my room. The parking lot is very well lit so I felt safe. It's was a very quiet area while I stayed even with it being Memorial Day Weekend.

The air conditioning took a while to cool off the room and the water pressure wasn’t the best but the room was very clean and nicely updated.

It looked like it was around 5 yrs old and was very clean Not enough parking space. Hotel sit in a little corner had to park over by the office away from my room.

Good location, room was spacious, it was very clean, had a mini fridge and a blow dryer. What more do you need at this price point?

Bed was incredible, a/c worked unlike other places I’ve stayed at only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is bc there was a weird smell in my room and not many channels on tv. Other than that it was great and I appreciate non smoking for every room, love that.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly. It was extremely quiet at night.

Please provide a non slip for the shower - the bathroom is very clean but the tub is slippery and i felt like I was going to slip and fall. The towels are the softest ive ever had in a hotel amd the bed is super comfortable - i slept like a baby!!

Friendly staff welcomed me and my pet. Hotel area was fenced in and clean. Ample space to walk my dog on grass. Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee in the lobby. Overall a good place for people traveling with pets.

This was a horrible experience, from individuals sinking weed in common areas. Multiple power outages, no air , lights in the room not working, roach in the bathroom and once microwave was moved old food on the counter. Please avoid this hotel!

Excellent hotel for the budget traveler. Likely the best red roof I have stayed at. Property is well maintained and room is roomy and well appointed (ex coffee machine). Deserves a very high rating!

We checked out of our hotel room this morning and came back as soon as we realized we left behind our medication in the fridge at the hotel. When we went into the front office, the attendant which happens to be the owner was extremely rude to us. Telling us he threw the insulin in the dumpster outside. The medication was clearly marked in the pharmacy bottles and should be known how expensive it is to replace. My husband had to get inside the dumpster to retrieve the meds, all the while the attendant told him he would call the police on him. We understand we left the medication behind and it was our fault but out of courtesy they could have held onto it for an hour or two to see if we would come back for it. Very unprofessional behavior, an apology would have been sufficient but the demeanor and rude attitude was uncalled for. We won’t be back.

But was the worst, the attendant photocopied my drivers' license. That, along with my credit card, puts me a risk for identity theft. When I asked what they did with the license copies after payments were secured. He just kept saying what if someone else called in and claimed I posed as them. He could SEE I matched my ID. I moved to the Hyatt the next night. Still want the photo copy of my ID destroyed.

Very clean rooms. I stayed here about 6 nights. Had extended my stay once and then left and came back for a 6th night. Both rooms were very clean. Only complaint was TV didn’t work in the second room when I came back for the night but that was ok.

This was my second time staying here. My room was spacious and clean, check-in was easy. The bathtub was great with nice, hot water. The parking lot was really crowded, but I guess that just means they are popular -- and for good reason. My mattress wasn't very comfortable and felt a little cheap, unfortunately, but everything else was good.

Horrible hotel. I have no clue how they have a positive rating. The room was filthy. There was a condom wrapper under the bed. Old food in the fridge and the ac leaked water on the floor. The managers solution was to give us extra towels. Avoid at all costs. Even for a cheap hotel it was a poor experience

This is a great hotel, especially when traveling with pets! It's very clean, has a nice fridge and microwave, good size rooms and even has soap and shampoo dispensers. I liked it so much I stayed here again on the way back. If you're looking for an inexpensive hotel in a safe neighborhood, I highly recommend it! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Tomball.

Watch your vehicle. LOTS of fast moving traffic on the road directly in front.

Do not expect alot but the price was great. I went because it was near my daughter's apartment. It was sparse (which is good w/me) but everything was clean and bed very comfortable. Property o.k. . I didn't feel unsafe, but didn't feel super safe. It was quiet at night . There was a couple of people smoking what I don't know but not cigarette smell. (Brightside better to smoke outside than inside) . Check in and out was no problem.

The room 201 was nice, but the road noise from the highway was too loud and I was not able to sleep at night. We had to leave a day early because was not able to take another night of not being able to sleep.

the front desk staff was rude and demanding. they called me at 1:15p demanding that i come and check in early so they could charge me (check in isn’t until 3). i arrived at the motel and there was food trash all over the parking lot. the vending and ice machines did not function properly. just felt like a very low class motel.

The front desk called me before I arrived to ask me what time I was arriving, Thanks, I will return.

This day was a lot better than I was expecting I was pleased.

Check-in was easy, area felt safe, and room was nice and spacious, but unfortunately the bathroom was lackluster. The shower curtain was stained and my towels were not clean. One of them had someone else's hair on it and the other had mascara marks on it. Unfortunately only realized this after I had tried to use said towels. Luckily I had one of my own to use and since it was late I was too tired to talk to the property about it, but definitely disappointing for nearly $80.

Room door latch was broken, I felt very uncomfortable sleeping.

Check in was smooth and the man the checked us in was amazing and understanding of our situation due to us being evacuees. The room was comfortable. None of us wanted to get out of the bed. If the kids weren't going back to school tomorrow, we definitely would've stayed another night. Only thing i didnt like was how slick the tub was. I almost busted my butt. Would definitely stay again though.

I stayed here with my daughter and my grandson. The property is small, but quiet and we felt safe. Was nice and clean and we only stayed for one night. It is in a great location near shopping and plenty of dining options.Excellent for the price. I highly recommend this property.

The place is clean and seems to be well kept. We had to check in late as we got a flat tire on the highway and had to change it while traveling. We got in at 3am and the front desk treated us terrible for being late even after we call and let them know then wanted to charge me after I already paid on hotels.com. The physical place is good but staff needs work!

Clean and comfortable. Staff was kind. Coffee wasn’t great but I will admit I a coffee snob.

It was a very nice room. Very nice view of parking lot. My room was on lower level. I stayed 7 days. The only problem was it had roaches. And those bugs that roll-up into little black balls. And there was a large gap under door and down the side of door. It needed door strips and guards to prevent bugs from crawling neath doors.

Booked the hotel for one night and no one was there for check in and they had no power. Why would they list that they had availability when they weren’t even open?

Everything was great in and around the property. The only thing i did not enjoy was climbing stairs. I use a cane/walker and it was very difficult. Other than that it was a great stay
