There was roaches everywhere

It is time to remodel and replace. The facility has reached the end of its useful life, and modernization is required—including improvements to the entrance, better parking lot lighting and signage, replacement of window coverings, new carpeting, and a fresh coat of paint. It boasts an excellent location with easy access to I-10, situated right across from Taco Bell and Burger King.

The property is dirty. Has an awful odor. Vagrants were around, this was not a rest stop!

If you are looking for a tranquil getaway where sleep is entirely optional, the Quality Inn Houston East I-10 delivers. The local police department clearly views the property as a second home, dropping by with comforting regularity. My neighbors, a lovely couple who reenacted domestic warfare nightly, provided a wonderful acoustic backdrop that rendered earplugs obsolete. And who could forget the multi-legged roommates? The roaches were surprisingly accommodating, even if they contributed nothing to the rent. Five stars for the constant existential adrenaline

The staff is the worst

Mold in the bathroom, tiles broken and missing, carpet was wet, TV remote was broken. Only had a 30 minute late check out ( I was willing to pay for a later check out and was told no) only 1 dryer worked and that took over an hour to dry clothes. Elevators smelled like melting wires and needed some upkeep. I was on a 34 hour reset as a truck driver. I'll look for something better next time I'm in there Houston area.

Wow where do I start! This hotel is the worst of the worst omg! Do not i repeat do not go here. Its smells like mildew and smoke. The rooms are old and smelly. It was roaches crawling around. Tub was brown and nasty. I asked the staff about the roaches and she said the ac unit leaks water and the moisture brings the roaches. It was a literal nightmare! Never again. This hotel need to be torn down its disgusting!

The hotel was as advertised. The area surrounding the hotel was soooooooo sketchy. Would not recommend for families, women, or anyone with a vehicle.

It was roaches in the room. Me in my husband was only there for 10 minutes and we checked out

Our room was dirty, our second day our room still was not vacuumed. We called front desk to notify and told clerk upon check out. There was also a cockaroach in the bathroom.

My room 405 was infested with roaches and smelled terrible. Told the front desk and they offered to change my room because the receptionist is aware of the problem. When I switched, the next room was infested as well. I didn’t notice the first night because I fell asleep as soon I entered the room but the one night I was in there awake you can literally see them crawling in and out of the headboard. I spent a whole hour shaking out my clothes and ended up just canceling the rest of my stay.

The bedbugs, the homeless asking for money outside, the breakfast was bland and basic

I would not stay here again . The elevators were filthy the room smelled kind moldy and mildewed. The Tv remotes did not work for the tv and on top of that when i requested bedding for the sofa bed the girl gave me one flat sheet . Nothing else. Used soap from previous person was still in sink . Also the fridge did not work .

Na The room was very dirty. There were hairs all over the bed, and it smelled strongly of cigarettes. The bed sheets also had cigarette burns.

Bad experience, my backpack get stollen, staff did try to help review cameras all this thing, didn’t see anyone except housekeeping, I ask does she saw backpack while cleaning room , didn’t get clear answer from staff, I don’t have enough time fighting with them cuz I have to go to the airport. I lost my car keys, metaglass case , AirPods and my clothes. I hope so somebody follow me up with the details and updates.

Parking lot and elevators made the hotel look run down but the room was fine. Bed was comfortable and room temperature was good. Breakfast food was cold but coffee was good.

The price was decent and there were no bugs. AC worked good. But the room smelled of pee and there were half-naked teenagers running around in the middle of the night outside (that were staying at the motel) and a guy sleeping by the front door with a bottle of liquor by him

I’ve stayed here a few times already and each time is great. No complaints. Fresh breakfast in the morning, staff is always helpful and polite, and the area is a little rough, but the property is super safe, and has proper security policies to keep its guest safe!

Cleaned room and decent continental breakfast. Only flaw was no ice machine on ist floor have to go to 3rd or 5th floor? This needs to be fixed and hope next time i use it again.

Nothing Upon arrival, another guest showed me a video of a mouse in his room, which immediately raised concerns. However, due to the hotel’s cancellation policy and associated fee, I felt obligated to stay. Unfortunately, my experience only worsened. The entire property had a strong, stale odor, and my room smelled heavily of smoke. To make matters worse, I discovered roaches in the room during my stay. There was trash left in the microwave. Overall, the conditions were unacceptable. Between the reports of rodents and the presence of roaches, this was a very unpleasant and unsanitary experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

off brand type Cheerio's, Fruit loops, no milk, nice yogart, waffles, coffee, bagles, white and whole wheat bread, a microwave, a toster and scrambled eggs & link sausage one morning and link sausage & bacon another morning.

They had in hole in my wall. They also had roaches in the room. They corporate think. It’s time to steam clean their carpets their Internet do not work, proper in all three of the rooms. The TV kept going off and on.

Was left without clean towels , they made me take the dirty towels down so I could get “fresh” ones , the tub was nasty. The room smelled musty. The area is definitely not the best . Avoid if possible .

Roaches!! Angry lady working at night. For how much we paid for 2 nights... NOT WORTH THE MONEY. There were roaches in my room, which means they are everywhere!! Elevators were scary & didn't work most of the time. The breakfast was okay, but for amount of people that were staying there, they need to extend the hours just a little bit. Don't waste your money!

Lots of homeless people outside. The elevator had a funny smell and you could see some of the wall peeling. The room given to us smelled like pee it almost made me puke. Not recommended at all

The hotel looks like the pictures but it’s old and dirty! When I checked into my room I had to ask for another room because I found bug feces under the mattress and someone’s t-shirt. When I changed rooms it was slightly better but I was already discussed. They said they have a bar on the site but THEY don’t! I checked out that first night…if I stayed here it would of ruined my trip to be honest

Cockroaches in the stairwell. Moist stains on the carpets. Corners of the rooms covered in dust. What looked like bloodstains on pillowcases. the Hotel didn't even have power one morning when I woke up and couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water. You get what you pay for.

Cleanliness was fine for what you pay for but found a hair in the shower when we first checked in, saw someone’s bobby pins on the carpet by the bed and toenail clippings by the wall. Also a questionable mark on the wall of possibly a bug? The guy at check in said maybe 10 words and basically none at check out. The breakfast was not that good and none of us liked the eggs. But it was the cheapest option so you get what you pay for. On the plus side there’s a few cheap and quick restaurants nearby.

Very dirty. Stains everywhere. There were roaches in my room. So i went to tell the front desk and the guy was very rude and blunt. and he immediately cancelled my booking with no questions. Didnt ask if i needed another room or anything. Then when i asked about a refund he said there's nothing he could do and my only option was to call customer service which i had to sit on the phone and wait for an hour until connected with someone.

BADLY kind of looked moldy!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS WHOLE PLACE IS INFESTED! The ratings doesn’t even match on Expedia. Then I see about the reviews too late saying that they been had cockroaches, bugs & mice! Every review has a comment saying “they have a professional bug exterminator” etc. THEY ARE LYING! This whole building is INFESTED! I didn’t even wanna take a shower or even unpack my bag! I was so uncomfortable. This place is no good for anyone looking for a hotel stay.

The most important thing is there were roaches EVERYWHERE! In the bathroom in the main area. I tried to go to another place it was sold out so was the hotel. Roaches crawling on our backpacks and suitcases. White powder was in the room looks like possible roach bait. During the day and in the evening crawling all over. The elevators need repair to thefloors. The TV would not turn off and stay off so you have to unplug the tv.

Canceled my reservation at 11:10pm on Friday night. We were 10 minutes from the hotel. They sent an email stating the canceled the reservation. I called them and they said they were over booked on rooms, but didn’t know this until that moment they sent me the email.

The elevator was suspect the hallway and room smelled like urine I had to go to Walmart and candles the man that checked me in was great but that night the lady at the desk was horrible!

The room was not clean. There was hair all over the bathroom. There was old food in the micriwave and refrigerator.

I would never recommend to stay there. They had roaches in the hallways, bathrooms, rooms and beds.. They said they have queen beds and really have doubles. Then argued with me, as if I don’t know what a double bed looks like. It was soo bad, my son had to kill 2 roaches that was his bed.. That was after being moved to a different room due to the roaches. the elevators were horrible and sketchy.. technically I should have gotten my money back. Worse stay ever

So I will start off with a positive that it was very inexpensive. The property itself is outdated and not well maintained. 1st thing I noticed was one of the elevators was broken. Got up to room and the entry light was broke. The room had a strong smell maybe from the old dirty carpet. I noticed the smoke detector was taken off the wall which isn't safe i actually found it in one of the drawers. In the bathroom i kept seeing roaches. I was very disappointed so I checked out early.
