Owner was not friendly and somewhat rude. Had socks on in the room. The bottoms were so dirty from dirty floors. Hotel smelled. Pet area was over grown grass. They had two hand soap bars only. Towels were small and very thin. Bed had stains. Would never stay there again.

They had smoking rooms The guy at the front was rude very plain and unhelpful. There’s no elevator or buggies to carry your luggage in. When I got in my room, there was no lockout latch. It looked like it had been ripped off of the door so that was unsettling and I didn’t feel like I had proper security from unwanted we’re uninvited even staff because they have the master key and can get in if I was in the shower or or had company. They said that the rooms were built with soundproofing(info from booking.com,) but that proved to be not true whatsoever when walking in the hallway, I could hear conversations and people’s phones playing music from the hallway and their doors were closed and it wasn’t even like they were yelling or anything so I didn’t feel like I had much privacy didn’t feel very clean. The floors were sticky. But the location is exactly where I needed it so that was a Plus.

I didn’t like anything at all !! The staff was rude ! They charging $50 deposit to stay in a piece of crap ! I am disabled and was forced to walk upstairs . Pets barking nonstop && the room was unclean and smelled like piss . It was hands down the worst room I’ve ever been to . We did not stay long we did not feel safe .

No elevator must carry luggage up tall steep stairs. Bath tub wasn't clean. Dirty table in room. Bed is a huge platform with a 2 inch mattress on it.

Lobby smelled like moth balls 1st rooms bathroom was dirty they quickly changed the room and the 2nd room was better and bathroom was clean.. room did not smell like moth balls

Place reeked in lobby & hallways, fortunately either it wasn’t as bad in the room or I’d already gone nose-blind. Poor towels. Clerk complicated things explaining the $50 deposit for room damage multiple times + needing my card at checkout to supposedly return the deposit. No such thing as ‘just leave your key at the front desk’ and head to the airport at 5:00a. I was in the parking lot leaving when she was hollering at me from the hotel’s side door needing me to come back inside with my cc.

The ac unit in our room had a bad smell like mildew/ musty blowing out of it. The front desk was notified and the only solution they could offer was to spray perfume in our room. The floor was sticky when you would walk on it and the staff was unprofessional and seemed annoyed when these issues were brought to their attention.

First room microwave didn't work tv remote didn't work and then heat wouldn't work plus no smoke detector and issue getting clean towels management grand stand in hallway screaming just take the towel. Then following week move to room next door no issues besides checked out yesterday because I didn't get paid until today. Then made reservation and told my identification wasn't working. Had to drive across town to other location inconvenient and cost me $100 more

I didn't get to stay there they canceled my reservation and I want my money back from you. Tara wasn't able to get there on the first day and when I got there they had canceled my reservation and I wasn't able to stay there unless I paid them for room after I had paid it through you so I was pissed and went and got me a room at the Windgate motel instead so I need my money back from you.

Toilet seat was broken, beds constantly felt wet, huge gap in room door that people could look through, table and chairs looked like they were just picked up from a random curb

O0 damage fee that was t re returned immediately..if you want to share the room with roaches, this is the place to stay. Won't be doing this place again. What a shame.

I didnt like that there wasn't an elevator or a luggage cart available. The room could have been cleaned better. There was no complimentary coffee or any thing.

The corner of the bathroom door was broken off, there were dried paint droplets all over the ground, there were clearly deep orange stains on the bathroom counter (almost looked like blood). Scratches on the ground, NO VENT IN THE BATHROOM, Dust everywhere that isn’t a commonplace. The area around is ghetto, I checked in and immediately saw 2 of the grimiest looking woman I’ve ever seen. In conclusion the place just sucked and is not worth 55$ a night.

It’s ok but just ok… They need to get new mattresses and bedding's stain free sheets n towels but it is Motel 6… No shade maybe they are in the process of betterment.

Buy all new mattresses for for all room instead of just using a mattress protector

What I liked was that when I checked into my hotel. The cleaning lady just finished mopping and the floor was almost done drying. I put my bags inside by the front door, left, and returned after going out to eat. I brought Chlorox wipes for the remote control, door handles, and light switches. To my surprise, the wipes did not have dirty residue [brown or dark spots] on the wipes. I am assuming the cleaning lady does a fantastic job cleaning! Very thorough! I did kill some flying bug but hey, it's Houston, it is super humid and Houston is in a flood plain. No other bugs were present during my 2-day stay. The bed was all alright in terms of comfort. I brought my own bedding because I never trust any hotels bedding. The TV selection rocks, the WiFi is secure and fast [No lag], and that was great for my business work that I had to complete. If you are going to eat in your room, take out your own trash. Otherwise, you are inviting bugs. Simple common sense.

First off, when I arrived in my room to lay down, the sheets reeked of body odor, so I know that the sheets wasn't changed at all from the last person/or persons. There were long loose hair strains everywhere on the bedspread of the bed. When I unfolded the sheets back, there were a Big pile of long loose hair strains everywhere at the foot of the bed. It's like someone purposely swept the hair in a pile and tried to hide it, then had the nerve remake the bed again with all that underneath. There was also hair strains in the bathroom in the toilet, as well as the sink and shower. I almost had to puke. I only got my room cleaned twice in one week of staying there, maybe because they're under staffed or something, I don't know.

They are in the middle of renovations. But it seems old and out dated. My looked like it was renovated. There was no elevator or luggage carts. Interested to see what it like after the renovation is complete. They are under new management.
