For the cost and location of the property it was not bad, but do not expect a great deal. The breakfast was minimal at best but better then nothing.

Everything was wonderful!

There was nothing to like I checked in only to go up to room and it was occupied already. And it was very hot in the hotel. The whole building needs to be pressure washed

There was absolutely NOTHING I LIKED ABOUT THIS HOTEL! The pictures online are a joke. Let me just start off by saying it was so bad i didn’t even stay and i am currently waiting on my refund! As soon as you walk in there’s a smell and when i got in the room and pulled the sheets back as i always do the sheets were dirty the restroom was unsanitary. Then they had given me a handicap room. I would advise anyone that’s planning to stay here to NOT!! Trust me you will be utterly disappointed!

Location was great! Close to everything. Nasa and boardwalk. Restaurants were nearby. The hotel was beat-up. As soon as we enter the lobby there was a stinky smell. No AC in the breakfast area. It was super-hot. Breakfast was really bad. Just few white bread and muffins. Coffee was very diluted. Bathroom in the room was dirty. TV remote was not working.

It's nothing I didn't not like about it

Free samples of deodorant Room was nasty smelled like mold, mildew with sewage. Bathroom floor, tile was broken, toilet wouldn't flush at times. AC/heater blew out the smelly smoke or cloud of dust. Very limited food items on breakfast, waffle iron did not work, juice machines did not work. Ashamed that the motel in its location was run down and not kept up and maintained. Other words this place is in need of major renovation, vacated or torn down. It needs to be inspected by health dept.

It was a good place to stay for were we was going Well my room tv did work and we couldn’t adjust the AC so it kept turning off after while . And the elevators didn’t work either.

The staff and the location. It is in a good location. Lots of places around to get food and drinks. The staff were approachable too, but I guess there was little they could do to salvage the situation. Nothing was working. The elevator was bad, the breakfast was scanty, the ice machine was broken, and the juice machine was broken. The seat in the room had stains. There were roaches on the floor.

This property was very poorly maintained, it smelled very badly in common areas, the air in the common areas was set on 81 so it was muggy. The hotel seemed very sketchy. The "Free Breakfast" was toast, yogurt, and waffles! Just keep in mind you get what you pay for.

Good price and had basic amenities for one night stay, but was very dingy and had a mildew smell. I think the room was clean, but was lacking in upkeep such as old, dirty caulking in the bathroom, a hole in the ceiling, dirty phone and a mildew odor. Seems like little things that could be easily improved.

Walk to the space center.

The location was great for visiting the Johnson Space Center but everything else was sub-par, save the great staff.

Right opposite NASA. Great location. We stayed only for one night. Front desk guy was nice enough to allow luggage storage as we reached early.

Great to have a little breakfast, but not many options (cereal and waffles and a few other things). Water pressure in shower was so-so. Good value, I would return.

When entering the bedroom, saw a very large “wet spot” with dark long hair on the made bed. Nasty!

The cost was the only thing good about this hotel. The continental breakfast was terrible (coffee was not good; yogurt had expired a week earlier). Despite telling the desk person about the expired items, they were still there the next day. There was a dead roach next to the microwave (well, this is Houston; at least it wasn't alive).

Dirty, full of cockroaches, dirty, dirty, dirty, and run down!

We entered our room and within minutes we left and booked another hotel. The smell alone was not good, and my kids were the first to say, I’m not sleeping here. It was just not what we expected based on what we booked.

Room 310 non-grouted tile floor is very unsafe for feet. Unsure footing due to that. Good bedding and AC...breakfast is poor. Suggest somewhere else.

Great value for money. My only complaint is the hard, lumpy pillows. I ended up not using any pillows. :(

Who puts a round toilet seat on an elongated bowl toilet? Breakfast was poor selection, Wyndham should be ashamed to be associated with this property

There was dog feces at the bedside. The toilet wouldn't flush and would wobble when sat on. The rooms are outdated with patch repair still visible. Ceilings had yellow water stains. There were roaches in the hallway. The hallways smell dirty. The front door to the lobby didn't open when it was after hours.This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at!!

The room smelled like cigarettes and really strong cleaner.

I was assured everything would work. I went up to room and mirror was falling off the wall above the bed. One side of the closet door was missing. You couldn’t turn around in the room with the luggage cart it was so SMALL. We immediately checked out. We didn’t stay here

The breakfast is terrible. The building is badly worne and areas of high traffic like doors are filthy. Cheap stay in a great location next to NASA Huston. Local restaurants affordable, quality walkable.

In recent years the property has had minimal maintenance. Holes in stairwell wall, toilet doesn't flush and 4 days using downstair bathroom until that was closed/unavailable too. Carpets in room pieced together with gaps and loose edges. Bed linens left by couch bed stained and with black marks. Overnight staff person at front counter always available and friendly, otherwise no one ever at counter. No one to monitor entry of unauthorized people and potentially unsafe situations. 6:00 breakfast not set up until 6:40. Minimal breakfast items and overcrowded waffle making space. I am not a complainer, but know how much better it was 7-10 years ago. Get the impression they are trying to get maximum profit and care less for return business at this location. Have to wonder if other microtel locations are similar. Many colleagues at this annual conference location have gone to other hotels in the area. I'm sure it does not sell out of rooms like it did in the past. Again, bathroom situation needs to be addressed for customers and public health needs.

This property was so close to the space center and fine for my son and I. It was very hot in the lobby and it smelled terrible. Our towels randomly disappeared out of our room and they were not replaced with new ones which I thought was odd because nothing else was touched. There was hardly anyone at the lobby desk and the room was outdated. Make sure you bring a charging block if you need to charge anything.

We stayed here because many reviews were 10/10 and 8/10. We should have listened to the people who gave it 2/10. It was filthy and run down. The only good thing was the price, at least we didn’t overpay for this dump.

Very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location, with lots of dining options in walking distance. It's an older building, but a bargain for the price!

Minute due to getting into town late , we check in and by the time we came back with our stuff, the front desk was gone . We arrive to our room , the room was dirty and it had roaches. Door didn’t lock properly we travel with a newborn and a 4 yr old. Not able to lock out door felt very unsafe.Also one of the outlets was broken that makes it very unsafe for a child .

The pictures online are very deceiving. I should have known by price. Too good of a deal. Couldn’t even stay here. The room was disgusting. Everything was stained, not hygienic and in need of repairs. The pull out couched was stained. The cabinets were missing handles and off track. Bathroom had stuff smeared all over the toilet seat and counter top. Hair was everywhere. I would keep going but won’t. You get the idea. I would stay here. We checked in, walked in the room, looked around and checked right back out!

The place definitely needs an update. Sheets were stained and asked for more towels, never received them.

It was a very clean and safe area. Room a need updating but overall I would stay at that location again. Very convenient in location.

5 stars all in all. Friendly, accessible, clean, and quaint. Wifi works for a change vs surrounding stays, thank you guys for a peaceful and much needed night away from the usual. See you again soon!

This was an extremely unpleasant hotel. I felt extremely unsafe and did not sleep a wink. I booked for two nights and was too late to find an alternative the first night, but left immediately the following morning. They have refused a refund. I am disgusted with their service and feel completely conned. They provide an unsafe horrible experience and have stolen my money without refunding. Worst experience. Avoid!!

The continental breakfast was sad. I took pictures…there was 1 expired yogurt, 1 jug of rancid milk, 4 slices of white bread for toast, 3 cereal options…but rancid milk…and a filthy waffle area. My room had blood spots on the walls I. The bathroom and the ac unit had something splattered all over it as well.

The pictures for this property were completely misleading. It was dark and dank, the carpet and covers felt damp. There was a sizeable gap underneath the door that might have contributed to the roach infestation. There were always roaches in the bathroom and there were dead bugs on the floor near the door. The mattress was well past its life and when I sat on the bed I rolled right onto my back because there was a massive dip in the center. It was ridiculous. There were crusty stains on the carpet whose origins I don't even want to think about. I was there for three nights and the room was never completely cleaned. Only the trash in the bathroom emptied and the face towels replaced. Soundproofing doesn't exist at this property. I was awoken in the middle of the night by loud noises and heavy stomping. Also, a major safety issue is the door to the connecting room. It didn't lock properly and there were no instructions on it for assistance. I'm so disappointed with this stay and wish I could go back in time and book somewhere—ANYWHERE else.

The first room smelled so bad, the TV didn’t work and there was a camera installed for whatever sick reason. We went to another room that didn’t smell as bad, but the bed was terrible I would never stay here again very nasty hotel

ATM always seems to be broke and I cannot get any cash. Room was okay and will come back. I might think twice next time depending on whether I can get cash for whatever readon.

The bathroom in room 212 needs some help the shower curtain will not close correctly so water sprays out on the floor. The curtain on the window needs replacing as the right corner will not close all the way.

The room itself was dirty. Stains on the couch, doors in bathroom. Weird smell coming out of AC unit. But for the price I really couldn't have expected more.

The best part of the property is staffs, Patrick and all are very nice. However rooms are entire property needs a renovation. Bathroom floor tiles are broken, carpet is really old and falling apart

Rooms were clean with a queen size bed, desk, easy chair, kitchenette, and a sofa. A bonus was a window seat. TV didn't work but was not that big a deal.

The property is dated and in sad need of up grades and basic maintenance.

The price point was excellent and the beds were comfortable. The room actually looked clean. The problem is the room smelled strongly of urine and the shower barely worked and never even got warm.

The room was a stinky messy. The room smelled like a wet dirty rag. The bathroom floor was dirty with visible mud. I took a shower with my sandals on, only to grab a towel and have a long black hair fall out of it (I told my kids to not walk around barefoot). Room 304 is not the room to stay in. Wyndham Should not back this hotel at all!

Curtains falling off the rod. Door latch didn’t work properly. AC went off in the night. Someone knocked on multiple doors in our hallway in the middle of the night. Very limited breakfast menu.

Good hotel - decent bed, free luggage storage, breakfast options and very good service.

Overall stay was okay. Hotel is clean but our room on the 3rd floor wasn’t in good shape. Carpeted floor was VERY uneven, bathroom tile was almost a hazard as it was breaking, cracked and was pieces would come off when you would step in certain places. Had to leave a towel down to keep from possibly cutting our feet when getting out of the shower.

Overall nice

Hotel was a walking distance from NASA, a Wendy’s and a CVS. Location was peaceful and quiet. This is the 2nd time we stay there. Will definitely keep staying there in the future. Friendly staff as well. Loved it!

I recently stayed at Microtel and had a seamless check-in experience. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff were polite and friendly.

First room, the hide a bed was broke. Second room, no pillows for hide a bed. Sheets but no blanket, expected to sleep under just a sleet. Toilet stopped up, had to plunge it myself due to no maintenance working. Loose tiles in bathroom. I have used Microtels before but not one as bad as this one.

TV did not work other than everything was fine

The toilet was terrible and wouldnt flush unless the lid was off the tank. Shower had several cracks and the curtain bar was coming down so the shower curtain wouldnt stay shut. Sheets and carpet felt dirty. Pool was filthy.

I like the cleaningness and how quiet it is

The room has a microwave but NO crockery or cutlery to eat with. The curtain was half hanging off the rail. But apart from that, very comfortable and good value for money

No drinking water bottles in room. Poor Breakfast Menu. Will rarely recommend this place.

The hotel was good but not the breakfast

The air conditioner unit was at 90dbs all night long. Turning on and off every 2 mins. The breakfast was just waffles and toast, juice, coffee. Place needs updated. Worn spots on the bathroom tile and countertops. My end review would be to pass to the next hotel

Musty, Humid Mold in the room, moist bed sheets and they are dirty because there is hair in the bed and it’s not mine. Furniture is filthy even the doors are dirty and sticky…. Bugs and roaches coming out of plugs, which are very unsafe and falling apart. Shower even had hair that was not mine in it meaning it had not been cleaned very NASTY and manager wouldn’t change rooms even though I complained as soon as I got into the room…. Phone in the room didn’t even work….

The property was not well maintained and the pool looked terrible. The breakfast was not replenished. So it was truly first come first serve and there was not even a water station. However it was clean, safe and met our needs. The staff were friendly and it was close to NASA.
