I had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Marquis Houston! From the moment I arrived, the experience was welcoming, enjoyable, and a lot of fun. A special shoutout to Curry at the front desk — he was extremely helpful, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of. His customer service really stood out and made the stay even better. Overall, the hotel, atmosphere, and service were excellent. I definitely enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend the Marriott Marquis Houston to anyone looking for a great stay in Houston!
- 3/5
Overall I enjoyed my stay but I will say for the price of my room it was very basic with less amenities then a lower priced hotel. The view I got this time was definitely not worth it.
- 5/5
Loved the river!
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be coming back.

Needs more signs for restrooms. And bottles of water need to be readily available

Everything was amazing !

We parked in north Avenida garage because it said online 30.00 for overnight, yet at front desk I was charged 50.00, and my girlfriend’s payed 42.00. There was confusion with that, had to ask for receipt from fro t desk to see what I paid for parking. 😥
- 3/5
Its a pricey hotel no breakfast and charge for everything.
- 2.5/5
I like the Biggios bar, they play nice music. Misleading and lying to costumers. It clearly says on the site that WIFI IS FREE. IT's free but I have to be a member of Bonvoy which is annoying. And the front desk when we are checking in didn't bother to explain that part at all.
- 3/5
Including this hotel where the pool lining is clearly peeling off. Aside from that it feels like checking into a Vegas hotel. And it's more expensive than Zaza.

everything is amazing! i wish i could stay for more!
- 5/5
Was everything good but unfortunately an incident happened on the pool that day we check in
- 5/5
Everything was great and clean; the drinks were good, and the food by the pool and at Xochi was excellent. However, the breakfast buffet was very basic for $30 per person—the eggs were watery. Another thing I wanted to mention: at 2:00 AM, people were shouting and running around on the 8th floor; guests really ought to read the rules at check-in. Also, the housekeeping staff needs to reset the alarms, as we were woken up at 5:00 AM—I assume by the previous guests' settings.
- 5/5
I Absolutely had a fabulous experience! Would recommend to anyone !
- 2/5
When checking out the STAFF was not very helpful, it was so bad I didn't even get a receipt are even a email from them
- 4/5
Unfortunately, my stay was on a rainy day and we couldn't have a full experience at the pool. When I was checking out I asked if I could extend my stay for one more day and the answer was, "We're at full capacity."
- 5/5
Early check in was perfect for our family stay. It gave us plenty of time to enjoy the resort-like pool and lazy river before our event that evening. Valet attendants made check-in incredibly easy.
- 5/5
Everything was to par! Only thing that weekend. Was the elevator. 2 conventions. Packed. Took the stairs. Well expected.
- 4/5
Not as good as it used to be. Toddlers with adults in hot tub!? Should not be allowed!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great location to daikin park. Would definitely return.
- 5/5
This was our 4th or 5th trip and it never disappoints. We see a Friday night Astros game and spend all day Saturday on the lazy river.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, lazy river was loads of fun. We stayed near the elevator at first but found it a little noisy but they moved us without any problem!
- 5/5
Had the absolute best experience there! Food, drinks, vibe were great! The rooms were clean, comfy beds. Recommend 10/10! Look forward until my next stay

Definitely not worth the price. You pay for parking and the Hotel doesn’t even offer guests free morning coffee. The room coffee was exired and tasted horrible. Definitely not work the price

No volvería.

The hotel is beautiful, luxurious, and located right in the heart of downtown Houston, making it easy to walk to great restaurants, parks, and attractions. Everything you need is just steps away. The highlight of our stay was the incredible rooftop pool deck. The famous Texas-shaped lazy river and resort-style pool are truly one of Houston's top attractions and an experience you shouldn't miss. Whether you're relaxing in the water or enjoying the rooftop atmosphere, it's an unforgettable experience. The staff was welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the entire property felt first-class from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Marriott Marquis Houston to anyone visiting the city. It's a must-see destination and one of the best hotel experiences we've had.

- 4/5
Great staff, excellent amenities, only thing I did not like was the required $25 per day charge to spend on food/drink. Also the area surrounding the hotel was not very safe, but that does not reflect on the hotel itself. Very family friendly.
- 4/5
All of the staff there was super helpful and friendly However, I had booked a bedroom with separate quarters on the outside and I received the cosmopolitan room, which is a beautiful, very large room with lots of windows, but the bed was out in the middle of the room and there was no privacy.. Also, the streaming options on the television were very limited. It would not let me mirror to the television from my phone. The maintenance guy said I needed a roku Stick. Gofigure.I don't carry one around with me.

Great spot in the middle of the city!

The lazy pool is fantastic and a great place to relax. The hotel also features an excellent Sports Bar, which was perfect for enjoying the World Cup, as well as a lovely Wine Bar for a more refined experience.

Shout out to foster from the hotel staff. Made my kids trip and was an awesome associate.
- 2/5
literally the only good thing about the hotel is the pool, the waiting lines were always long, the staff was not very friendly, and the rooms had poor lighting. The a.c for some reason never got cold enough in our room. Ive stayed at many really cheap hotels when on the road and even they offer free wifi. For over 400$ a night I really had higher expectations. My wife and I have travel out of the country plenty of times, stayed at hotels way cheaper with way more to offer and nicer staff. The property also does not have a parking hotel close enough to the reception, valet parking is 70$ a day and they ask to call 15 minutes in advance to bring your vehicle to the front and even if you do that you will be waiting longer which made us late for dinner reservations. Honestly Never again!!!!

Amazing hotel Stayed here after getting married and they couldn’t have been more accommodating.

The hotel seems to have lost sight of the guest experience. There also wasn't enough staff to manage the long lines throughout the property. Curry at the front desk was friendly and professional during both check-in and check-out, and I truly appreciated the great customer service. Unfortunately, some of the other staff members came across as if they disliked their jobs and interacting with guests. Our valet attendant upon arrival also seemed hostile. The lobby is beautiful, but the guest rooms and restrooms feel dated, especially considering the price point. The mandatory $25 daily resort fee is only applied as a dining credit at the on-site restaurants, which may not be valuable to every guest. No outside terrace area to sit & relax, the designated smoking area is standing at the front door. No seating area like most other hotels. On our first night, the shower leaked, and the hotel accommodated us by moving us to another room. They also provided a complimentary cheesecake, although it was stale. The towels were rough, and the robe and slippers felt cheap and disappointing for a hotel at this price point.
- 5/5
People were allowed to conduct themselves how ever that wanted at the pool.

Loved this hotel. Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at and I am very well traveled. The pool was incredible and everything we imagined, plenty of food options available on site, and staff were very friendly. Would book again in a heartbeat!

- 2/5
Location is excellent but the trade off is lots of noise and light pollution. Beware of hidden fees. Disappointing experience for the price.
- 4/5
The rooms were nice in the pool was great. Enjoyed the views. I will say, though that the staff was not very helpful and even Rude in some scenarios during our stay and at our time at the pool.
- 5/5
I love this place. You can’t never go wrong
- 5/5
Amazing experience! Hotel staff were Friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The pool was a very cool experience and a great hangout spot.
- 5/5
Excellent time
- 5/5
We loved the location next to Discovery gardens park. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The Walker street kitchen staff were lively and energetic. The bartenders at the pool made good drinks. Kids loved the lazy river. The only knock on maintenance side is the bottom the river appears to need redone and is coming loose. Feels squishy when walking around it. Also the bathroom was very small for a double queen room. 2 adults and 2 kids. Although it was all kept very nicely. Valet is good but 70$/night is definitely on the high end. The coffee shop has very good pastries and well made coffee. We ate at the Grotto across the street and had excellent food there as well.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing, the safe was very friendly the only think is the mini fridge did not cool down any of the drinks from room temperature till the next day.
- 5/5
