The staff were nice. The entire property had a terrible smell. I got my room changed twice due to the foul odor in the room but there was no escaping the smell because it lingered throughout the entire hotel. the bathroom in my hotel room smelt like death so we had to use the public restroom in the lobby. the pool was probably the most appealing area because it was outside and away from the smell

Staff was rude. Microwave in room did not work.

Room 209 was hot all night maintenance never came moved us to123 and there were roaches in the bathroom I stay at the Laquinta whenever I travel I am very disappointed

I was not able to stay there. After I got there, exhausted from Jacksonville, FL driving, the front desk notified me that they do not accept pets which on the Expedia page it notes that it does allow dogs. I paid in advance, front desk told me they are not refunding my money because I made reservation through Expedia. Any help I can receive here I’ll appreciate it!

The breakfast area was also very concerning. A homeless individual was repeatedly going in and out of the dining area. He was coughing, sneezing, yelling, and spitting near the tables. We also witnessed him eating food and drinking milk directly from the breakfast area. Throughout this, the front desk staff did nothing to address the situation and appeared to ignore it entirely. Overall, the property was very dirty, unhygienic, and felt unsafe. Due to the poor cleanliness, pest issue, and lack of staff intervention regarding health and safety concerns, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

A majority of the staff was kind. Saw two small roaches in our room. The washer and dryer were broken the entire time we were there (11 days). AC was out in the lobby and got fixed the day we left. Some sheets had cigarette holes in them. Breakfast was just ok.

Old musty, mildew smelling room, breakfast was ok, pool wasn’t open or cleaned to use, ac worked great. Just was a foul smell like the plumbing needed repaired. Unpleasant!

Pay what you get

One of the hand towel had a red spot on it, not sure whether it was blood or something else. Chair on the room has its synthetic cover peeling off and looked bad. TV screen seems to be damaged at places, yet working. (Seems they don't want to replace it until it stops working) Breakfast was good, but had a couple of homeless guys hanging around and made very uncomfortable. It seems to be a daily routine, as the staff wasn't taking any notice. Finally lesson learned, don't look at Expedia reviews only and book that particular hotel.

The cleaning crew also removed our used towels but did not leave us any clean replacements. Thankfully, the staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly and provided us with fresh towels. The breakfast staff were also friendly and welcoming. Overall, the property itself was very clean. The pool was green, but to be fair, it rained every day while I was in Houston, so the weather may have contributed to that. Unfortunately, despite the friendly staff and clean property, I will probably choose a different location the next time I visit Houston.

The pictures make it look like a nice up to date property but the room we had was below sub par . Stained couches , cracks in the tub , and just overall not the level of cleanliness I’m use to . It was decent for the price so if you just need somewhere to sleep cool , but if it’s a special occasion or you’re looking for something nice , it’s not the place

The staff was VERY understanding and helpful. They apologized and cancelled my reservation with no hesitation or fees. I appreciated that very much since I had to then find a new hotel.

My room the moment I stepped foot into a roach right at the door the first night I killed about 12 roaches

1. There were cockroaches/roaches roaming throughout the room, including on the tables, bed, and in the restroom. One even jumped into my food. When I reported the issue to the staff on duty, they said they would either have the room sprayed or move me to another room. However, since I had valuable belongings in the room, I did not want anyone entering while I was away. Despite this, I expected at least a follow-up call regarding the spraying or room change, but I never received one. 2. The work chair provided in the room was damaged and worn out. I showed pictures to the staff, and they said they would inform the management, but nothing was done to address the issue. 3. The bathroom sink was in poor condition, and water splashed outside the basin instead of flowing properly into it. As a result, the floor was constantly wet. Since I was traveling with my kids, this was concerning and created a safety hazard every time we used the bathroom. Overall, I would give this place a 0-star rating. If a negative rating were possible, I would give one. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

Staff were dry and uninviting, but the room was decent. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the crackheads that lingered outside and were being obnoxious.

Once the room key was not working. The front desk person tried to make the keys twice, but they did not work. Our room was replaced with another, which was very noisy and had a strange, repeating sound. My sleep was disturbed.

The AC was making a horrible noise throughout the night at best I got 2 hours of sleep. Broken blinds letting the sun into the room at dawn. Hair in the bed and stained sheets I’m not even sure they actually washed all the pillowcases. Showerhead disgusting and broken. An empty bottle of lotion left in the room from the previous guest. Staff could do better; they seemed to couldn’t care less. Horrible experience. I will never recommend this place even for free.

The room was clean but had a smell, maybe from dampness and AC. No extra bedding in the room, which would’ve been useful for our stay with 4 ppl in the room. Easy check in and check out. Parking was easy. It was pretty quiet but could hear the people in the room above us. Breakfast was limited but decent. There are some fast food options nearby. Overall a good place to stay for a quick overnight.

This is the worst Hotel in the World! Do not stay HERE! The pics will have your thinking differently. When I checked in the staff was not friendly and then when I got to my room it was roaches in there in the sink. I was there for every bit of 5 mins and gone! Tried to get my money back and they will not give it to me. I'm still trying to get my money back. Its my money. I still haven't got my deposit. I have contacted higher up on them. I'm Pissed and they nasty! The damn drawer didn't close in the room, just Ghetto!!

The woman checking me in was more concerned with texting then getting me checked in. When I went to checkout the person immediately put up a sign they would be away for 10 minutes. I did not have time to wait for them to return. I would suggest a key return box. The room was clean. The bed was lumpy. The shower curtain was ripped and kept getting the floor wet. It was just a place to sleep for the night. Nothing great about that hotel.

This room was filthy and nasty. It smelled like dog urine and mold. I was sick the next morning and all of my clothing stunk. The staff told me there were no other rooms and did not care. The bathtub was not safe to use the wall had a huge crack in it and it was glued together.

The breakfast was okay it would have been better if there were more options to choose from and the eggs, sausages was cooked more and with flavor. My main reason for booking this hotel was for the pool and it was closed because it needs to be cleaned, the owners of this property should let customers know that their pool will be out of order before people check in especially people with kids that loves to swim at least put it on the website that the pool is out of order. The staff was very helpful to us and answered every question that we had and also was helping us look for other places to swim, the room was good and clean, parking was great as well.

Place was not bad for the value, the carpet in my room was kinda permanently wet and moist and there was a permanent slight drip from the bathroom somewhere, but honestly again, cannot complain for the price! Aside from that i had no issues, front desk was super polite and helpful, breakfast was as good as you'd expect, and honestly felt decently safe in the area too. Lots of parking as well!

We had a great stay comfortable and safe hotel was well maintained the staff took the time to get to know us and was helpful in each interaction as well as the manager working with me n my work schedule and extending our stay breakfast was early perfect for on way to work stops really enjoyed my stay they have comfortable beds and pillows as well thank you !

Our stay was completely comfortable clean safe and the breakfast and coffee a plus everyday the staff was great can accommodating we traveled for work long days and early mornings the hotel was quite beds comfortable

My room was missing a full size mirror.

The breakfast was great. Unfortunately, the juice machine was not working but water was available. Plenty of safe parking. WiFi and A/C worked great. Excellent 50 inch TV and many channels. Mini Frid and Microwave worked great. Room and bathroom were very clean. Staff friendly. Location a little tricky to reach but OK.

I checked in and immediately checked out. When I walked into the room, it smelled mildewy and like smoke they had cracks in the ceiling and in the wall, the head bugs the headboard had handprints on them. The bed covers had stains on them, the table head nail they had a bar of You soap in the tub. The police were called to the property because of a fight and a customer they did not want to leave their own. They only had one receptionist at the front desk. It was a very terrible experience and I’m still trying to get my refund from Expedia because I did not see there.

The worst La Quinta ever, I guess you get what you pay for. Sketchy activity,illegal activity all night long. The people that were staying there just made it feel unsafe for families. Street walkers and drug users in and out. The property was run down big time, roach infested you could see the roaches all over the exterior walls the water damage in bathrooms paint on walls was just terriblly mix matched just a coat of paint to cover water damages. The room was dirty, dusty. We left and went to dinner came back the whole floor smelled of marijuana in the evening into the morning. I would recommend to stay far away from this property as we will never book a La Quinta again because of this location. I should’ve read reviews before booking, NEVER AGAIN!

Staff was friendly, hotel was run down and in need of quality repairs. Room was dusty and bathroom shower and sink were not adequately cleaned.

The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures. The room smelled like cat urine. The carpet throughout the hotel is very dirty.

Room was ok but not really clean, there was a leak in the ac unit. The water in bathroom coming out of tub was dirty. Vent in bathroom was being held on by packing tape. Breakfast was not done so we never ate there. Hallways smell like mold. Staff lady was good and friendly but the guy gave the helped us charged us $40 more a night for an up grade for a couch. When we booked the room we were just getting a king size bed, but when we found out that our grandson was coming with us, we needed to upgrade to a suite. Online it says $10 a night and when we got there, it was $40 a night. We did confront this guy at the desk, but he said no that’s wrong and it’s $40 a night. We will not be coming back to this place. I would like to have somebody call me so I can explain more.

Parking is safe and easy. The location is near a supermarket and several fast food places so it is very convenient.

The room had an odor. Our room faced the highway, and the window was not fully sealed, so I could hear the traffic throughout the night. The bathtub in the restroom had been painted, but the paint was chipping off. I found two cockroaches in the restroom.
