A bit sketchy. Could have been cleaner. Had a weird smell.

The gentleman who tried to fix our tv was amazing, the woman at the front desk after 2:00 was very kind. We were picked up in a van from the airport that had a two inch long cockroach. The pool was green and closed, the tv didn’t work and we had to be moved.creepy picture in the room of someone taking a picture of you facing the bed.

Depending on your room it may be quite a hike to your room but that’s my only note.
- 1/5
I was first given a room with people already in it and then I was given a room that stunk of mold and had a broken AC. I finally got a room the third try. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay here again.

El cuarto super bien , el desayuno muy rico y el personal muy amable pero el aire acondicionado hace mucho ruido y no puedes dormir bien

Hey so it was my daughters birthday and we was super excited to be in the pool being that it was so hot outside but when we got there the pool was closed due to it being dirty and when I asked for it to be cleaned the attendant told me that their was no one there to clean it I then asked to speak to supervisor she said the supervisor was there only on Monday thur Friday and it was Sunday . Then when we got to our room with our bags the hot water wasn’t working so we had to change rooms which was another inconvenience, then to add on they only accepted cash for the items they sold so I had to walk at least 11 to 12 minutes to the nearest gas station to buy stuff for my kids to eat literally one the worst hotels/ motels I ever been too ruined my daughters 8th birthday best thing about this hotel/motel was the free shuttle service to airport in which we left the next day

Airport shuttle. We booked this hotel for one night before our cruise, and one of the main reasons we chose it was because it advertised cribs for guests travelling with babies. Unfortunately, that amenity was essentially nonexistent when we arrived. We were told there was only one crib available because the others had not been brought down by housekeeping. The one we were given was completely unusable. It was damaged, would not open or sit flat properly, and did not have an appropriate mattress or sleeping surface. There was simply no way we could safely put our infant in it. This completely changed our sleeping arrangements for the night. My husband ended up sleeping on the sofa so that I could stay in the bed with our baby, which meant I spent most of the night awake because co-sleeping is not something I am comfortable with. Had the hotel been upfront that they could not provide a functional crib, we would have booked somewhere else. We specifically selected this property based on that amenity and would have preferred to spend our money on a hotel that could actually accommodate our family. Communication before our stay was equally disappointing. I sent several messages through the booking platform in advance because I wanted to confirm both the crib and the hotel shuttle arrangements. None of them were answered. At the same time, the hotel was sending us automated messages and reminders through that exact platform. It makes very little sense to use a messaging system to contact guests while apparently not monitoring the messages guests send back. Looking through other reviews, I can see that multiple people have raised the same communication issue, yet the responses from management appear to be generic acknowledgements rather than any indication that the problem will be addressed. The room itself also had an extremely noisy air-conditioning unit. I was glad the air conditioning worked, but the constant noise was difficult to ignore and added to an already sleepless night.

I just had an overnight stay because my flight landed late so I had to stay overnight for the next flight in the morning. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was perfect with the super moist biscuits and tasty sausage! The added amenity is the free shuttle for the morning commute to the airport. The driver is very efficient and gets you to the proper terminal quickly! Thank you!

We booked our room; called for the shuttle service, and was told “Im sorry, but our shuttle van is not available due to maintenance. They had NOT updated their website indicating this. We checked and Ubers/ Taxis were $30-50!!! We asked for a refund on our “non- refundable” room due to false claims on the website. We will see.
- 2/5
I booked this hotel due to it being rated 8.0 VERY GOOD and convenient location for early flight…I read some of the reviews but dismissed them thinking people are just picky as I usually am not when booking a hotel for a quick overnight stay, but this one had me regretting my decision for the first time EVER!!!! I do want to say, the front desk clerk was the most delightful person and she is a ROCKSTAR!!!!! But that’s about it, first room she gave us was the closet to elevator but furthest from the lobby, WHO designs a hotel with the elevator being so far from lobby, especially when your key doesn’t work…which ours didn’t when we got up there and no they were not anywhere near electronics, completely separate pocket!!! Got to first room and it appeared as if it was open, but no, it appears someone has tried to get into the room previously without a key, so the safety was a no go for me, headed to lobby to get a new room and key, which she graciously accomodated!!! So we get to new room, clean on surface, but the door to bathroom had no knob or ability to lock if needed…and the shower, oh boy, it took over 5 minutes to get hot water this morning 5 minutes I didn’t have to waste before my early flight!!!! It wasn’t until I was washing last limb in quick cold rinse that it started to work, not pleasant at all!!! You know that saying you can put lipstick on a pig to make it look good but it’s still a pig…well the photos and ranking aren’t honest.

Not really an issue but no smart TV, feel like most hotels would have a smart TV at this point

Horrible..rooms are nothing compared to what is shown on website!Pool was not in service water was so green and disgusting.Housekeeper never came to my room to see if I needed towels or anything.A young lady in front desk told me to throw away my trash.I stayed 4 days the third day I was moved to a better room..which was actually worst there was a roach in the restroom and ants on my bed and night stand.

There is nothing unique about this hotel. It is 10 minutes from the airport however, when I checked into my room, the entire carpet was wet when I say wet, I mean, like flooded they put me in another room. It was better. The pool was green and the outside lawn were cobwebs everywhere. It wasn’t too clean. I also watched the Cleaning Lady walked past garbage wrapper that was on the floor. She looked at it and didn’t even pick it up. I actually picked it up and put it in the garbage. And for breakfast, it was OK not a large variety. The eggs were watery and runny and they only had apples no bananas. There was a homeless gentleman outside, and I actually went back inside to give him a fresh cup of coffee. I will never stay at this hotel again and I don’t recommend it to anybody unless you are on a super super tight budget which I was but I wish I would’ve paid a little extra to be across the street at the Marriott.
- 2/5
We were given multiple uncleaned rooms, which did not have elements seen on the Hotels.com details listing and photos. Staff said that was on Hotels.com because no rooms ever had tub/shower combo or desks. The pool was a deep solid green, with no notification in advance that it was unusable on a summer trip. The doors separating the bedroom from living room were glass with no coverings giving zero privacy or separation from lights being used in either side. Staff was friendly, but multiple team members stated they weren’t surprised by the dirty rooms, unchanged beds between guests, because that’s “just how housekeeping was” there. (?)

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. The only problem was the bathroom door wouldn’t close completely. Breakfast was okay. Overall, fine for a one night stay.

I will never and I mean never stay, or recommend this nasty dirty hotel to no one it was my wife birthday and she had a very disappointing birthday from this hotel. The swimming pool was so dirty and unfit for anyone to swim in. The cleaning staff was Rude and not helpful at all. Breakfast was not eatable and the staff hurried to put it away before you could get any. This hotel should be closed
- 3/5
The pool was closed. Our room TV wasn't working. They had to move us to a different room
- 2/5
No one came to clean or change bedsheets for the entirety of our stay, which was four days. I am very very dissapointed, I paid for 2 rooms at over $800 and it was not worth it at all. The pool was also dirty and not working.

es un hotel económico el personal es muy amable el desayuno es bueno con servio de transporte al aeropuerto me alegro haber encontrado este lugar lo único que no pudimos disfrutar fue de la piscina porque estaba fuera de servicio

I stayed just for one night and the first floor bathroom was dirty and full of mold, the towel holder fell off the wall when I went to grab the towel. It was OK for the one night I had to stay with my dog.
- 3/5
The only thing that truly was disappointing was the pool wasn’t available and I chose this one because I could use bus transportation and the pool looked amazing on the app
- 4/5
Very close to the airport. Could hear the jets quite well
- 1/5
4th floor was so humid when you step off the sketchy elevator. Once we got in the room EVERYTHING was damp from the humidity.
- 4/5
It’s a nice hotel, but the traffic noise from JFK Blvd is very loud. Traffic Noise.
- 3/5
I rarely leave critical reviews but hope this will be beneficial to the hotel, Main areas were nice. While I recognize humidity levels are high, the room was VERY musty. Hot water was slow. Two of the three provided bottles of shampoo/conditioner were empty. There was a dirty wash cloth which had been overlooked and was hanging over the shower curtain. Staff were friendly but not engaged, We asked to be added to a 9:00 shuttle schedule upon check-in. We weren’t. Thankfully staff worked it out the next morning. Not a location I would rebook.
- 3/5
It was just okay. No AC in the hallways. It made me think you get what you pay for since this was a little cheaper than the other hotels nearby.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient, decent price
- 0.5/5
Nothing to like in the hotel. I did not get value for what I paid for. Unprofessional, disrespectful, staff and cleaner. There was one staff and one cleaner that don't care if customers are treated well. They don't care, they are not ready to give help when you ask. Help that is part of the package one paid for. They are ready to subject customer to their own laziness and bad behavior. They speak rudely, they treated us as if we stayed free for seven days. Garbage not taking out, toilet not cleaned, toiletries not replaced, TV not working and nothing was done. Asked for help several, but not given.

The receptionist did everything she could do to help, but despite booking a clearly labeled 5 person room, we were informed upon arrival that they did not have any rooms to accommodate 5 people, so one person was forced to sleep on the floor as they did not offer an extra room or bed. Additionally the first room we went into had a terrible odor and wet carpet and we were unable to stay in there due to how bad it was. After getting another room assignment it was locked out so we had to go back down to the desk to get a third room. The room was not very nice or clean and still had a bit of an odor. Overall, not a great stay.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with our experience! The hotel was great, clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed before our early morning flight. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which made everything so easy for us. The shuttle service was especially amazing! Having reliable transportation to the airport for our early flight took so much stress out of our morning. Everything went smoothly, and we really appreciated the great service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a comfortable and convenient place to stay before a flight. Thank you to the staff for making our stay such a positive experience!

Seriously convenient for the airport. Amazing value for money. Shuttle service also good! Poor communication beforehand. No messages sent via booking.com website were acknowledged or replied to.
- 1/5
There were bums outside the hotel, the rooms smelled like mold, there was mold in the ceiling and in the bathroom, roaches were in the room as well, very disappointed in the overall experience.
- 1/5
I hardly write reviews but the terrible experience inspired me to write one and warn people considering this place. If you are still browsing for a hotel by IAH to stay at – consider this your warning to exit the page quick, fast and in a hurry. This place sucked – moldy smell in the room, it was hot, the hallways were stinky, the elevator was at the end of a long stretch of hallway, they did not have any body wash in the bathroom the entire time we were there, they were short on face towels. The breakfast was meh. Even after requesting room service, they literally only took dirty towels out of the bathroom, and did NOT clean. The bathroom is moldy, and tight for space. They need to tear down the entire hotel and re-build from scratch.
- 4/5
We stayed here for 4 days and the place was well cleaned and maintained. The room was decent and comfortable. There were ample parking for what seemed like a full capacity weekend. I Did not wake early enough for the breakfast, but a little snack bar would help them rank that extra star.

The parking was awesome nice and shaded was here in the high heat of summer. Pool was not maintained would have been nice to look down in it. The hallways to my room was hot day or night. Tv was not smart and lagged and lost connection a lot was very frustrating. Didn’t find the laundry room to was my clothes during my stay. Elevator was too far from my room also
- 3/5
The hotel itself looks great in the lobby and common areas. The rest was hit-and-miss. The elevator was extremely warm, even at midnight, and smelled like old cheese. The hallways were also very warm. The room felt moist and sticky, and had a smell like urine ... although visually it was nearly perfect, except for a few spots of rust around the shower. The AC worked fine, but it made weird noises. The breakfast buffet was good ... just what you'd expect at a LaQuinta. I got about half a dozen unimportant emails from the hotel starting the day before the reservation, and they continued until after checkout.

Affordable and good location

Property was great location to airport . Breakfast was good
- 0.5/5
The room was clean The shuttle service advertised was not available from 12:30 until 3pm. We were only told this after we had arranged for a late checkout. We were told that that was their lunch break and they were understaffed and they did not have anyone for that time frame to drive. The first room that we were given was already occupied. I only realized this when I opened the door and saw people's luggage on the beds. The pool was green and unusable, which was not told to us when checking in. I had called days before our reservation to ask about a late checkout. I was told it would be $40 for late checkout at 2pm. I was told the same price when we checked in. But, apparently the lady who checked us in did not record our late checkout on the reservation, so we received a very rude call from the front desk the next day at 11am when we hadn't left the room yet. We were then informed it would be $50 for late checkout. I let her know I had been told $40 on two previous occasions. She told me that is just what the system charges and she couldn't do anything about it. There was also a strange electrical issue in the room. The outlet that the TV was plugged into wouldn't work without leaving the main light by the door turned on. I am someone who likes to watch TV in bed, and would prefer not to have all the lights on at the same time to be able to watch the TV. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and I will never stay there again.

Passable
- 2/5
However, the pool was currently closed. The first room we were assigned had a leaking air conditioner, but they graciously moved us to another room. We had a two night stay and housekeeping did not visit during the stay. The lobby looked great and the rest of the hotel looked like it had been really nice at one point, but over time it has become outdated/dirty.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is very close to the airport. The elevators are very old and feel a little dangerous. There is a sign asking no more than 2 people on it. The AC in the room was very loud. I thought it was the sound of an airplane outside (being so close to the airport). Breakfast included but very limited in options and not so good

Worst LaQuinta I’ve ever stayer in and would have left on arrival if it hadn’t been so late and we were having to use Uber for transportation. Very confident that if the police raided the place they would find a lot of illegal activities going on. It needs to be closed.
- 3/5
The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel itself was not quite as I had expected. The back elevator was scary to say the least. Only two at a time were allowed on. It also made a strange sound while in use. The room was clean, but the shampoo and other essentials were watered down in my opinion. The coffee machine in the room was not working nor was the ice machine on our level. It was unplugged. We did enjoy the short drive to the airport.

Put more attention to things in the room, like body wash, phone works.

You can tell there was attempts to clean the property but over all this hotel needs a major renovation on rooms. Everything is dated, rust in bathroom around tub, tv dated, water pressure extremely low, no hot water, WiFi is absolutely terrible. Ac was set to 62 and it was still to hot. We didn’t get any sleep. Only thing beneficial was that we had a flight to catch and it was literally three minutes from the airport.
- 3/5
Plenty of road noise and airplane noise due to the location. Bed was not very comfortable. It’s okay considering the price.
- 3/5
Pool not able to be used and no restaurant on site
- 3/5
The pool was not operational at all (the hottest few days in Houston) and were only told when we enquired about swimming and towels. They never advised us about its reopening either! Overall, it’s good for an overnight stay, but nothing any longer.

Staff was very helpful had some bumps in the road but thankfully it was fixed!

It was okay if you’re just looking for somewhere to shower and sleep. The Wi-Fi is iffy and the tvs dont really work either (couldn’t use any steaming services) At some point our key cards didn’t work and when we went to go see why the employee told us we were checked into an another room. Even though our stuff in the original room. It was strange but it did get sorted so I’m glad they were helpful with that.
- 3/5
Everything was good, the only problem I found it that the hot water was not hot enough was ok to get a quick shower but it was not hot at all.
- 2/5
My cousins and I got a king size bedroom .. the room was nice just the lights were really dim. The bathroom shower and hair in it and on the floor. Also the reason we booked this exact hotel was because we were interested in getting in the pool just to find out the day of check in that the pool was closed that whole weekend. Room was never cleaned and we kept asking for towels but we did receive them
- 4/5
By the time I landed, the shuttle service had ended. Also the room was not soundproof. I could hear very clearly the people outside. But the room was very clean and staff were very helpful.
- 3/5
The pool wasn't in service, just a heads up. This doesn't impact my rating since we weren't using it anyway. If we had been put in the second room from the beginning this would be a very different review. The room was clean, the water was hot, and it would have been 5 stars if not for the television turning off when you turned off the room light. We aren't usually tv people so it wasn't a huge deal but whoever put the plug for the tv as a connection for the light switch did not think that through. Breakfast was basic and acceptable, but on the lower end of our experiences. I would not stay here again but it did serve the purpose of a safe place to sleep.
- 2/5
Lobby looks clean but my room was not what I expected, restroom was dirty, toilet seat and shower tub, room phone was not working try calling front desk and couldn’t, neither the TV was working! Room had a nasty smell! It was late and I was tired just wanted to relax and rest! Traveling with family!
- 5/5
Everything was nice and close to downtown plus alot of stores nearby. Only problem was the pool wasn't available and it was hot and one of the reason we chose the place! Other than than great place to book

The newly renovated La Quinta is well worth staying don’t confuse with Hubble which is b
- 2/5
The room had a very musty smell that we couldn’t get rid of, most likely was coming from the carpet. The elevator felt very dangerous, needs to be replaced ASAP!
- 3/5
Airport shuttle ends at 10 pm. That’s not helpful for late arrivals.
- 3/5
The hotel was extremely conveniently located to the airport, with free parking. The breakfast was delicious, well stocked with great options, both hot and cold options. There’s a 24 hour coffee bar in the lobby, which was nice, offering both coffee and tea. Down side included the pool was closed. Although the floor was clean, the bedding had stains on it, and the TV was not fully working.
- 3/5
Bit disappointed as I had booked this hotel checking out of another hotel a night before our flight as this was close to the airport and offered free shuttle drops. We were four in total and on checking in were told that the shuttle was only once an hour. They also didn't have spots as they were almost full 1 hour apart .
- 4/5
The pool was GREEN and closed, which was very disappointing, since it was in the 90’s so we were really looking forward to relaxing in it after flying from Atlanta.
- 3/5
The pool was absolutely unusable. The hot water was lukewarm, even asking them to check it. But other than that…it was a nice place.
- 1/5
I’ve stayed in many hotels in several cities in several states, and this one is one of the worst I have ever stayed in.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
Be aware that sometimes the shuttle doesn’t come. We were told to arrive ten minutes early before our 8 am shuttle because it leaves on the hour on the dot. We waited until 8:15, alongside many other passengers, before we finally called an uber that came to get us 5 minutes later. No shuttle in sight when we left. The property leaves something to be desired, but the rooms themselves were fine. Did the trick for an overnight layover.
- 3/5
Could be cleaner,.smelled a bit like cigarette smoke
- 1/5
Had to stay here overnight due to a missed connecting flight. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and I couldn't even choke down the horrible instant noodles I bought for dinner. I think I would have been better off sleeping on a bench at the airport.
- 4/5
The hotel has a nice, welcoming lobby, and the King Suite was a great choice. It was very spacious, with two separate areas divided by a door and two TVs, making it perfect for our family. The room was clean and comfortable, though it could have used a few more lighting options. The complimentary breakfast buffet was good, with hot items like eggs and sausage, and we really enjoyed eating outside in the garden each morning. - The biggest drawback was the pool. Unfortunately, it was green and full of algae during our entire stay, so it wasn't usable. Another small concern was the elevator, which had a paper sign stating that only 2–3 people could use it at a time. That was a bit unsettling. Overall, despite those issues, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. PS- P.S. A special thank you to the middle-aged Hispanic gentleman we saw a couple of times around the lobby area during our stay (I'm sorry I don't remember his name). He was always smiling and genuinely made us feel welcome. Those small gestures made a lasting impression.
- 2/5
The shower was super cold, and the pool wasn’t open. The breakfast is extremely basic with few options.
- 2/5
The elevator was in poor condition. It shook and rattled every time it stopped on a floor, making it feel unsafe. It is in need of maintenance or replacement, as it takes away from the overall quality of the property. Additionally, someone on the fifth floor had placed what appeared to be manure or animal feces in the trash can near the elevator, causing the entire hallway to smell terrible. We reported the issue to two different staff members on two separate occasions, but unfortunately, nothing was done to address it during our stay. While the hotel was adequate for a single overnight stay before catching an early flight, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
- 3/5
When the shuttle service driver knew the situation later when picked up at 3.10, he also agreed that hotel should call him and he could came earlier. The management is not good from this perspective.
- 4/5
Decent hotel near IAH airport. The rooms are spacious and comfortable coffee maker but no bottled water provided, The shuttle is scheduled every hour to the airport . There is always coffee in the lobby, and a free continental breakfast from 6am. However, there are no restaurants on site .
