The staff at the Marriott was amazingly kind and helpful during our stay. The location is great with easy access to restaurants, local attractions, walking to nearby murals, and main roads for traveling and moving around the city. Room service was delicious and the spa was delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ordered room service at midnight and it was there in 20 mins. So nice!!

Horribly treated after restaurant staff spilled malt vinegar all over my wife and her belongings. No excuses - if they cared about their customers something would have been done.

No hot water even after 20 minutes. Took a depressing luke warm shower. Called the desk and they just said “yea that happens, it takes a while in the morning. Sorry.”

The staff were amazingly helpful and they took extra care of all the kids and hosted us very well. They provided us with additional amenities and provided us with complimentary lounge access. In addition to this, the staff customised a welcome note and a 'things to do list' for kids which were shared with them upon arrival. All in all - they made everyone feel special! Great facilities with the free shuttle (within a 5 mile radius) and a great team at the valet. There is no swimming pool and for a hotel of this status, I would expect a pool or at a minimum, free access to another hotel (within the chain) with pool facilities.

The parking is the problem at this hotel. If you're Ubering every where it's great but $40 every time you have to leave the garage or $65 for valet gets to tally up quick.

Difficulty getting car to valet given not many valet persons present and only a single lane for the car on an active road next to rail line. Unless have multiples valet persons their is a bottleneck of a single lane street which happened upon my initial stay at hotel.

Staff was above and beyond

The team at the JW Marriott was next level. Always a clean room, with continuous care. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond any expectations. The food, gym and overall stay was next level. Highly reccomend this hotel

I love love love the bathroom, when booking a room for some quiet time because im a mom and every now and then i need me a mental break and just to wind down, this was perfect for me. the room service, the fresh baked cookies just to say thank you, was top tier. The breakfast was a plus too. Will definitely be going back.. For my first visit first impression, there was nothing that I did not like about it. Everything checked out good for me. Oh if i had to pick, more movie channels maybe for some tv options for those who enjoy a little television.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Arrived at 4p and my room wasn’t ready. They told me 20 minutes. An hr and 20 later I needed my room to shower and change for a meeting so went to the desk and they somehow found me one. The room was tiny, faced an inner courtyard thing where all I could see was directly into 15-20 rooms, half of which were under construction except the one directly across from me where we could see each other. My room was right by an elevator where I could literally hear it going up and down the entire night. I’ve stayed in many jw marriotts and this was by far the worst. They charged luxury hotel prices also. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere

It would be nice to know if a luxury hotel is under renovation BEFORE making reservations. Was notified by the hotel that the lobby was being renovated after a non-refundable reservation. Valet parking is across and down the street one block requiring guests to walk past several smelly garbage dumpsters to park and retrieve their car. Can't recommend the JW until the renovation is complete. With all that, the room was nice and the staff were courteous.

Fabulous stay! I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and we were greeted with a special card and dessert in our room when we first walked in. Great service and delicious restaurant in house as well.

The road construction makes it a little confusing for check in and parking but the hotel is beautiful and the staff does all they can to smooth over the difficulties with the entrance being blocked We loved our stay

Not hot water in my room, ghat was in my drink and around the bar, paid for valet when I could’ve parked it myself. Had to walk to get my car because hotel being renovated why should I pay for valet when I had to walk back and forth down the block to get my car. I complained a couple times and they didn’t care or give any amenities or anything

Our room was ready when we arrived at the hotel a little bit earlier than check-in. Chloe at the front desk was amazing. She helped us the entire time we were there and was fabulous at her job. Jose, the Bellman was very helpful at checkout. And not to forget, Mr. Charles and Logan were excellent at their job of getting us to the convention center and back on time. The entire trip was great with the staff that was at the hotel.

This property is under construction which means there are barriers up and you will drag your luggage across the street by yourself after valet parking across the street. THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL, but the rooms are the size of a closet.

Pictures looked amazing but didn't say that everywhere around the front entrance, entryway of lobby where under construction. Not to mention out of 4 elevators only one wprked. We waited 20 mins

Room was not cleaned until late in day. Front desk receptionist on first day was condescending when asked questions about parking and luggage.

I got to the hotel at 11:30pm. At check-in, I only asked for 1 thing from this hotel. I said please wake me up at 7am with a wake up call. I did not get a wake up call at all. I don’t know how this hotel got a 5 star rating. The pillows are not comfortable. There is no extra pillow in the closet. The mini bar just had 2 bottles of water, no drinks/snacks. 4 star hotel vibes. Spend your money elsewhere

The hotel it self was nice the stay was interrupted by construction early in the morning, we had to argue to get accommodations and a better room .

Nice, clean, convenient location. No self parking as it was was under construction, mandatory valet parking $60/day!

Elevators were small only three out of four worked. Wasted for about 15 minutes for elevator finally just took the stairs.

I would have given 5 stars all around, but the elevator situation there is ridiculous. The staff is excellent! Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. We had a great stay.

I didn't like my view. I paid for city view and ended up on the 4th floor, facing an office building. So in my case, the price wasn't worth what I received.

Blackout curtains are a fail. Doors are very squeaky in rooms/ between room sections and hard to be quiet if you want to be. Staff were often using elevators loading them with dirty dishes, laundry, etc when there are dedicated work elevators. Parking situation was a mess. Construction made it worse but an added hassle if you have a car. Staff were awesome. Very friendly and willing to go above and beyond.

Wonderful property and amenities. So many dining options in walking distance. The area is under construction in front of hotel but with one bag each, we were able to maneuver just fine. Top notch bartenders (Mike & Ike). Staff was on point with everything. I would choose this location again.

The hotel is very nice but it is currently under construction leaving the valet in a separate building on the 10th floor. The hotel was very clean. I did not care for anything in the restaurant.

Underwhelming stay. Valet parking was an inconvenience and like navigating a maze. Spa was over priced and OKAY for $500. Should have went with my first mind to book Four Seasons for my Anniversary. Not going back.

Outside is under construction so you have to travel up and down to get to the property and rooms. Being elderly it was too much for me.
