Nice peaceful very pet friendly

When we arrived at 430 our room was not ready and check in is at 3pm so he offered another room but we did not want it because we wanted our jr sweet king bed so we left and came back like515 and finally it was ready then he gave us a room on the 5th floor all the way on the corner long walk and while you get closer to your room it smelled like arm pits finally got to room and ac did not get cool enough was sweating at night we had it on the lowest it could go which was 65 and did not have no bags for trash if you want to know the room it was 5501

Hotel rooms and infrastructure are very outdated. In dire need of a refresh.

The staff at this location made me so comfortable I truly did not want to leave after a 2 day stay. The hotel probably a 4 star gave me more than expected in every area.

Everything was good except for the roach in my refrigerator and the stains in the chair in the room. They are renovating so don’t come this year.

The fish are very cool. The breakfast was nice. Wait staff very attentive and helpful. The ac in room was not working. Very warm in room. Had to go to pool to get relief. Did not offer to get another room until maintenance worked on ac. After a couple of hours around 8 pm. I text and ask if fixed and they thought it was Also our breakfast should have been free. However it was not.

The staff was fantastic! Front Desk, House Keeping, Dining, even the convenience store staff. Superb!!

I requested a room near the elevator and was told that was available, and then they gave me a room that was far from the elevator. They were having a wedding Saturday night and the guests were really unruly and poorly behaved and we're still making noise very early Sunday morning and waking me up. One of the electrical outlets I tried to plug my phone into was practically hanging out of the wall. That's a fire hazard right there not to mention a shock hazard. The bathroom was really outdated and they still give you the little baby bottles of shampoo when even far less expensive hotels put the bottles in the shower for you to use zero star Hotel

Great location , hotel was clean and nice and refreshing Bathroom shower was clean but outdated shower head felt like putting my face under a pressure washer. You couldn't but it under water for more than a second or it would hurt

My room smelled of smoke and staff were helpful to move me to a new room. Had breakfast and lunch at hotel and it was fine, friendly staff.

Good stay! Compared to other Hyatt Regency's I've stayed at, the rooms are little dated but well maintained. Would stay here again. Loved that you can feed the coy fish in the indoor "lake" with food the front desk provides for free.

This property did not have my reservation in their system and made no effort to try to accommodate me after I showed them the proof and a booking.com representative confirmed my reservation with them on the phone. I ended up canceling everything and going home Lack of accommodations

we loved the property and the kids loved feeding the fish, also the night shift employee i think his name was victor, i would come back to this place 100 times because of him! absolutely the sweetest and was so patient with my cranky 3 year old! i didn’t like how small the rooms and beds were

Very clean, very respectful staff, so nice to see families happy having a nice time without incident makes the place feel calm and comforting. Rooms were cold bedding was clean. I didnt try the restraunt but i can say the snack shop salad was fresh the coffee there is the best. we had a wonderfel peaceful rest and nice swim in the pool

The Koi pond was excellent. They provided a toothbrush for my son who forgot his. Overall it was an excellent stay.

The place is old. The old musty air smell hit when as soon as I walked in . I have horrible allergies, and after 2 nights I woke up needing rescue meds This was the last lef of a two week road trip, and we ended a day early because of my need to breathe and my daughter having swimmers ear.

Beautiful place

The hotel overall was good! The lobby is cool with the koi ponds! The rooms are outdated but clean. Our only issue was room service… every time we ordered, they had issues with their system and it was 1-2 hours before we got our order and we had to call several times to get it.

Lobby is lovely & misconceiving because the rooms are very outdated, dirty & smell of sitting water & mildew. We had to buy febreze & Lysol to tolerate the smell. There was a roach in our tub, no hot water, beds felt damp, floors felt dirty. Housekeeping never cleaned our room. Drinks were good in bar, food was decent but overpriced. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone staying here.

I actually love the hotel itself. It has its own vibe. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff was friendly. Hotel and rooms were clean but the room was not what we expected. They need to upgrade the furniture to give it more of a modern look. In my opinion, the room does not match the rest of the property and had an old like smell but I had my own air freshener so it was fine. Bed was comfortable, so overall, Great stay! Just need to upgrade those rooms!!

Nice to stay

The hotel was well maintained and very clean. The fish pond was truly one of the highlights of the hotel. Parking was free which was a great perk. However, the bottled water at the cafe was quite expensive at $5 per bottle.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the hotel is beautiful. The architecture is elegant and sophisticated, and the rooms are modern, clean, and well-designed with lovely furniture. Visually, the property is truly impressive. However, the experience fell short when it came to the service and additional costs. It felt like they tried to charge for everything. We paid for a breakfast that was supposed to be included, but the quality was disappointing. The buffet selection was very limited—only about three dishes available—and the food options were strange and not what you would expect from a standard American hotel breakfast. There were no basic staples like fresh fruit or cereal. The coffee was also unacceptable; it was essentially flavored water, not real coffee. Even my husband, who rarely drinks coffee, agreed it was undrinkable. When I asked the server for a stronger cup, they charged me $20 for one cup. At the end of the meal, we were presented with an $85 bill for two adults and one child—an incredibly high price for such poor quality. Additionally, we are still waiting for our security deposit to be returned.

Everything was great, I have stayed here several times before and will stay again every time I go there in the future. Gym is great, facility is awesome, staff is great and very safe!

Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. On my second morning, I woke up with multiple insect bites and discovered what appeared to be a bed bug on my bed. I have photos documenting the bug. No guest should have to worry about being bitten while sleeping or potentially bringing pests home after staying at a Hyatt. To make matters worse, my friend and I were treated rudely by staff when we politely asked to take a few photos before going out for the evening. The dismissive attitude made us feel unwelcome and was far below the level of hospitality I expected from Hyatt. Between the broken A/C, having to switch rooms, waking up bitten, finding a bug in my bed, and the poor customer service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I respectfully request that World of Hyatt investigate this matter and provide appropriate compensation, whether through a refund, reimbursement, or another fair resolution.

The property is very attractive, however it is showing signs of age. The carpet in my room was in desperate need of restretching or replacement. The amenities are small and not really worthy of Hyatt Recency standards. There are no vending machines on the property. The ice machine on the second floor did not work at all. On the brighter side, the staff was very kind and accommodating.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Front desk was very friendly and helpful with accommodation to set up extra rolling beds for my kiddo. When we needed help to open up our wine, we had Noor who kindly assisted us with all ice, glass wines, etc. It was very clean, peaceful and pleasant. I would recommend this place to families.

The hotel was perfect. The breakfast buffet at the cafe was over priced and not very good. Avoid the breakfast buffet at all costs.

Beautiful modern hotel. Tasteful deco. Clean room. Excellent amenities. Free parking. Very helpful staff. High recommended.

It was extremely hot on the 5th and the property wasn’t full. It’s Texas summer, no one should be up there until it’s the last resort. My clothes were damp from the moisture in the room and everything stuck to everything. I let the front desk know and they were going to have someone look at it.

Definitely be back.

It’s nice property and I do recommend it to anyone, something I disliked is the sink in the bathroom was too tiny, restaurant food variety was minimal.

The property was very clean and quiet. A little dark in the room, so more lightening recommended. The shower pressure was fine but the water doesn't get warm or hot. But other than my cold shower, I slept really well. The pillows are amazing and comfortable

Although these items weren’t available at check in, a call to housekeeper solved those issues. It’s a beautiful hotel but dated. I would stay here again for sure.

The hotel needs major renovation. It is very old looking inside. Don’t think of taking a shower unless you want to spend a whole day with the water pressure being sooo weak. Also, you will manually have to shut your door when you leave your room don’t forget to do that. My friend’s room had a leak in the bathroom and it was because someone was showering above them. The second room they gave them also had a burnt light in the bathroom. Their room was very dusty and wasn’t as clean as ours. The fish in the pond was the only best part. I expected much better from the Hyatt.

Check in was easy along with friendly staff. They offer fish food to feed the fish in the lobby.

Location is excellent, main areas are wonderful but the rooms and bathrooms are dated, clean but dated and I mean very dated with half the switches and locks either broken or fixed but not functional anymore.

Beautiful hotel and good service

It appears the hotel may be going through a remodel. The lobby is great. I'm going to assume the rooms are the next to be remodeled. The room was dated and smelled old, so I really couldn't tell if it had been cleaned recently or not. Positive...the staff was great!

The room was dirty. The shower did not drain, so you were standing in a dirty tub of water while bathing. Carpet was disgusting. The bed didn’t even have a fitted sheet. Complained about all of these issues and they were never resolved during my stay

He then approached vehicles in an aggressive manner to make them back out of the area. The scenario immediately struck me as a human trafficking/kidnap attempt, so I readied my weapon and began looking for an escape route. He demanded that I roll down my window and I told him he needed to get away from my vehicle or he risked injury. After getting away from him, I reported his behavior at the front counter and was offered compensation and an apology. The rest of my stay was uneventful and satisfactory.

I loved the Koi fish. I stayed there just because you'll head coi fish. I love them and anytime the hotel has them and that's where I'll stay and the coffee and the coffee shop area where the pastries and snacks were was great!

Peaceful clean and yummy breakfast

They did give us a new room after complaining to the front desk. Expedia negotiated a comp for the first night of our 3 day stay.

The property is architecturally beautiful and very well kept. We had a peaceful stay and a quiet night’s rest.
