I like the strategic location of the hotel. The eating area is spacious and clean The exterior is beautiful Customer service at the front desk is not bad I also like the little kitchen in the room, bathroom and laundry The area is not noisy. The hotel has no telephone line working, making it very difficult for international customers like me to reach out to the hotel. Even the hotel's email services is not effective. The cleaners don't clean the rooms very well. There is poor supervision on the cleaners. In addition the walkway to the bedroom smells of dog urine. The breakfast served is delicious, but must have different menu for each day. The food is one- way through out the whole week. There are times I have to go out to eat a different breakfast. Does that mean if I stay there for 2 weeks I have to eat the same breakfast for 2 weeks. Think about it. Finally after landing from a 17 hours flight with 2 heavy suitcases feeling very exhausted, I have to carry these heavy suitcases to the room on my own. There was no assistance whatsoever. That's not a good customer service experience. If you're in your room and want to reach out to the receptionist, you have to come out and walk all the way to the front desk. Please please please improve on these things.

The room was cozy for the most part The garage...guest were hanging out in the garage smoking weed. Definitely not what I expected, but the experience was ok.
- 4/5
The facilities were clean and the location is good The cleaning of the rooms was not done everyday
- 3.5/5
I liked the size of the room and it was clean. I didn't like that I was charged every day for parking. 1 flat rate would have been great especially considering the condition of the parking garage, it self. Only 1 elevator was working. Which meant walking a very long way to the room, to the front desk, to the parking garage. The parking on the 3rd level didn't have any lights. The blinds in my room were older and probably should be replaced. The door seals weren't secure enough. If someone exited or entered the room next to me the door would move as if they were actually entering our room. They weren't of course, but it still is startling. The phones were completely down. You couldn't call from your room and you couldn't call into the hotel from the outside line either.( reason for the long walk to the front desk) A huge safety concern! The breakfast didn't have enough variety for me. I know everyone doesn't like pork, but turkey sausage should not be the only choice. The whole milk should be available as well. I was also surprised that waffles weren't a choice, just bread! I traveled with a child, so those little things matter.

I liked the location The property smelt when you first walked in. The phones don’t work in the room. They moved our rooms 3 times. One room the A/C didn’t work. The other room the television didn’t work. The third room the refrigerator didn’t work.

Location was ideal for me as I was central to the 2 places I needed to be. Everything. Room wasn’t clean, smelled dirty and bad. Door to room has a huge gap where you can see outside the room, meaning if you’re outside the room you can see inside. Not safe. Carpet was very disgusting. Pillows are horrible, ac made a ton of noise, LOUD noise. Shower head outdated and sprays everywhere. Shower curtain is supposed to be white but has a yellow tint towards the bottom. So gross. Towels had old hair, couches were bad. Overall everything was bad about this stay. Elevator #1 was broken. Parking was bad, especially since it’s paid parking, I parked on the side, not the garage. Night staff was wearing flip flops and was dressed poorly.
- 1.5/5
The design of the room was unique. I didn't like the cleanliness and it needs major updates. They ran out of wash clothes and it was hard to reach the staff when we needed a plunger. It wasn't worth what we paid.
- 0.5/5
It was nasty trash in the parking garage rust stains in the shower peeling countertops. It was nasty trash in the parking garage rust stains in the shower peeling countertops.

- 3/5
I like the location, but didn’t like the fact that the guest laundry machines were not working. Paid for garage parking, but no security gate and no lights on third floor parking garage
- 5/5
Clean room, great location . Pool needed some cleaning but, was still enjoyable.
- 3/5
This property was generally nice but had lots of small issues that built up. When you arrive you are informed there are no telephones working, we were told email them if we needed something, that one of the elevators isn’t working and that the parking garage isn’t secure and only one side (the exit) is open to access parking garage. During our stay at 6am on a Sunday morning teenagers were running up and down the halls banging on doors and then running outside to parking garage. The 5 mins later you’d hear them bang on another door and the run outside. To notify the front desk you had to get up, get dressed and physically go down to desk. This went on for over 45 mins. Not how we wanted our Sunday to begin. The room was clean, comfy and adequate had a few issues. The floor in the kitchen under the vinyl flooring was collapsing and when stepped on sunk. The bathrooom shower was so narrow that my teen 5’1 & 100 lbs had to turn sideways so as not to have her arms brush up against wall and door. Overall it was fine, but when you add up all the small issues it wasn’t an enjoyable stay.

Excellent experience.
- 4/5
We have stayed here numerous times and always enjoy our experience. It’s especially convenient for us because we travel with our husky, and the location works perfectly for our needs. The covered parking is a huge plus, and having a full kitchen in the room makes our stays even more comfortable. Check-in is always quick and easy, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. We look forward to staying here again.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a great location. It’s perfect for a summer trip, especially since the pool is open and very nice. We also loved the breakfast. This was our second time staying here, and we had another great experience. We would definitely stay again.

Horrible customer service
- 4/5
Gave some issues with the pet deposit once my guest arrived after another shift left and did not file it, causing almost 30 minutes worth of issues.
- 4/5
Rooms are clean but cobwebs on the hallway. Hotel staff unavailable to help or even provide any assistance.. I remember I asked for toothpaste and still waiting for them
- 1/5
Poorly maintained. Very load AC and pool filter running all night. Dirty hallways. Garage was strange to enter as gate opened outwards almost hitting car.
- 1/5
It was terrible experience, never again. Room smelled like an old basement, toilet dirty, carpet with stains, floor dirty and sticky. Entrance to the garage very dangerous, garage door hit my car, even though it says opening outward they should draw a line how far the door is opening. Especially when people coming to the hotel late at night, and it is hard to see how far garage door will go. My family and me woke up with terrible headache because of this smell at room. Paying 170 dollars for motel quality terrible idea. Please avoid this hotel at all cost. Terrible maintenance and they don't care about people, just money.
- 4/5
What i don't like is I have mot received the room holding deposit refund. Hotel said they would hold some of my money and give me back on check out. Not received yet
- 5/5
Had a problem with the hot water in the shower but it was corrected two days later
- 2/5
Customer service was nice & friendly but the hotel & room itself is humid, musty & outdated
- 4/5
TV in room 302 was damaged and the halls had a slight odor. Other than that breakfast was good and hotel was quiet. I like the private parking as well.
- 1/5
It not walking distance to the galleria mall.

Staff was nonchalant. Hotel didn’t seem safe. Guy with ankle bracelet hanging around the hotel. Overall dodgy and yuck.

- 5/5
Great spot, I’ll be back!
- 4/5
It was very homey, very friendly staff, only thing that I didn’t like is on their policy it states they will come in to check it out no matter if you have a no not disturb tag or not, some time during your stay. That creeps me out. The breakfast was the same 2 days in a row, 3rd day, I ate some where else after that. I don’t have a pet/did not see or hear one. Great neighborhood you could walk to shopping plaza for basically anything you need. And the galleria mall was almost 10 minutes away driving or take the local bus $1.25 each way. Very safe never crowded.
- 4/5
Paid parking only
- 4/5
Breakfast everyday. Rooms were adequate, a littler outdated with a need for touch ups, but the stay was still comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean room, great complimentary breakfast and great customer service
- 4/5
Location was good, close to the galleria, NRG, and Toyota center. You pay extra for parking but it comes out of your security deposit ($25/night). Staff was friendly. Room was spacious, lighting dim but windows helped. I communicated with the hotel and requested early check in a week before my arrival since my flight changed, they told me I could pay an extra fee for it which I agreed to but when I got there the room was not ready. Since I stayed for 5 days they said it was required for housekeeping to come in and refresh my room at least one day, they never refreshed my room but did leave new towels on my sink.
- 2/5
The hotel smelled moldy the elevators were dirty
- 1/5
The overall stay wasn’t a good one. The property was filthy. Carpet was dirty. The elevator had trash in it. The walls and floors to our room were dirty. I mentioned and nothing happened. The housekeepers just had the carts on the floors and sitting while they were chatting and eating the breakfast food. I would not recommend this place at all. Especially, holding the name Hyatt my expectations were ruined.
- 5/5
Wonderful last-minute stay due to flight cancellations. Love the location because there is a lot of things to do in the Galleria area.
- 5/5

Friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Immaculate gym. Comfy bed. Pet friendly

Clean
- 2/5
The elevator floor was sticky and gross. Sometimes there was a guy at the bar to open and sometimes there wasn’t. Our first room didn’t have a working TV. It was just a mess from the beginning.
- 2/5
They never cleaned the room or tried, didn’t vacuum the floors, take any trash, we had to keep asking for clean towels. There were things that were left in the room by previous guest like a fork and hair in the bathrooms. The pool was dirty! Definitely needs some updates! But besides that when we did speak to someone they were polite!
- 3/5
Overall it wasn’t bad but honestly I expected a little more from a Hyatt property especially in the Bellaire area of Houston. The staff were great. Helpful, friendly, no issues there. The rooms are needing a work over. More electrical plugs did not work as opposed to those that did. Some were so worn out that our phone chargers wouldn’t even stay plugged in. There was a black out shade in our bedroom window which was great. Problem is it that it was dirty and had so many stains in it. Made me wonder how?? We were on the driveway side so we got the service truck noise, people yelling/fighting in parking lot, and NON-STOP dogs barking. Our room and the hall just outside reeked of weed. Someone had been smoking weed the entire time we were there. Had a guest running through the parking garage in his underwear. As I said before people yelling outside but also very loud inside. Yelling/hollering for just “normal” conversation. Overall it wasn’t bad like I had stated, just could have been a lot better.
- 4/5
The bartender, however, was inappropriate and unprofessional to a coworker (not working in the bar) as well as to other guests waiting to order. Instead of attending to the customers (there was no one in the bar area with a drink in hand on 3 different occasions), he continued his obnoxious behavior for quite a while so my husband & I sat there in disbelief patiently waiting but ended up leaving. We grabbed a drink elsewhere, which was very disappointing because the main reason that we picked this property was because we enjoy having a drink in the evening, so we were looking forward to the bar amenities. This might seem frivolous, but we had even called the property before booking our room to confirm the bar would be open and their service hours.

Water from the ceiling in the shower kept building Up and dripping on me while showering. AC did not work
- 2/5
Dirty, poor house keeping
- 4/5
Older hotel but clean
- 4/5
Very close to the Galleria. Ok area. No issues
- 5/5
Great Hotel i will be back
- 3/5
The location was ok, it's on the outskirts of uptown, so everything was at least a mile away. The sheets had stains on them, and the coffee pot didn't work. The gym had ok equipment, but no hooks for the cable machine or attachments, so I couldn't use it. There was an empty water cooler and a closet of empty water containers that were never filled while we were there. There was a bar in the lobby, but it never opened.
- 2/5
Horrible for the price
- 1/5
Room and hotel were not as displayed on site. Did not use room due to condition.
- 3/5
Parking is overpriced… $25 when you are a guest and handicapped??
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Room wasn’t ready, I had to go back to front desk to switch another room. I was so tired after long flight and want to rest little bit before meeting. Go to a new room the curtains can not roll down for some reason I had to wait for technician come to fix. Pulled up the bed comforter I saw a lot of yellow spots then I called the front desk. They told me that is normal because they washed feathers comforter turned out like that. I have been in many nice hotels those comforters are not like that, just their excuse for bad services. The property is very poor conditions. I trusted Hyatt name but not this one. Don’t recommend to anyone. This is worst Hyatt property I have experienced.
- 3/5
The smell in side of the place and not to charge for parking
- 3/5
- Smelled a little old in the lobby, like mildew - Bar was not stocked and could only pour shots
- 1/5
Renovations are neglected, hotel smelled poorly, mold and spider in room. Was disappointed with this Hyatt as I never had a bad experience previously.
- 3/5
Room nice. Staff courteous. Breakfast needs work waffles were stale and paper thin bacon. Garage door broken and you have to watch for your car not to be hit. My reservation do say I was being charged $77 to self park my car and was never discussed with me.
- 4/5
Friendly
- 2/5
Parking garage, hallways and room smelt like marijuana allvthe time. Hallway carpet was gross. Every hard floor was sticky. The room carpet was wet next to the bathroom wall,.
- 3/5
The hotel seemed pretty run down, but it was ok for a brief stay.
- 1/5
Out of expectation
- 5/5
This hotel isca greT hidden gem in Houston Texas the galleria area..The rooms were very nice and also had a kitchen if you wanted to cook includes dishes and everything. I highly recommed this hitel and also children friendly with a great breakfadt bar..Wendolyn 2 👍 👍 up..Will defintely go again.
- 3/5
Dirty, smelled like cigarettes
- 2/5
Hotel Bar not open indefinitely. Facility was run-down. Rooms needed upgrading 5 years ago. Marijuana smell prevalent in hallway both nights I stayed. Left before last night of 3-night reservation, management not amenable to giving a discount - never stay there again.

Friendly staff however interior of property very run down dirty even put room walls were dirty stain on couches
- 2/5
The date was wrong i selected 2/1/26 -2/2/26. So i never got to experience my stay and lost $135
- 4/5
Room was great
- 2/5
The hotel overall was very old and felt wet. The elevator stopped working and in the room had a smell. The refrigerator was loud and the heat stopped working on my last day. Will never stay here again.
- 2/5
Poor hospitality, was not welcoming, completely disrupted my Houston experience. The gym was flooded with water coming through lights in the ceiling and the staff was so not alarmed. and the toilet in the room was broken. All of these issues started on day one and not much changed during the remaining time of our stay. I plan to shar my experience on on social media.
- 1/5
Initially, the hotel staff seemed somewhat helpful, but the issues really began when we sought resolution. After the manager eventually approved a refund, we were still left with the ongoing stress of dealing with the aftermath. Now, a week later, the situation is even worse. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, this hotel staff and Hotels.com has been a nightmare to deal with. Every time we reach out, we’re connected to a different agent, and the cycle repeats. They’ve been trying to contact the hotel, but the property simply does not answer their phones. It’s an endless loop of frustration. In conclusion, while the initial response seemed helpful, the complete lack of follow-through and the ongoing unresponsiveness from both the hotel and Hotels.com is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding both the hotel and Hotels.com. This entire experience has been a stressful and infuriating ordeal.
- 5/5
Ideal location
- 2/5
The room had furniture that was chipped, scratched, drapes were stained as well as the carpet! The hall carpet was stained! The refrigerator door was dented and tattered shades and no drapes!
- 1/5
Please stay away from this hotel. It smelled like mold and mildew. The carpet was dirty and stained. We checked in and late at night and couldn’t sleep due to the mold smell triggered my allergies. We had to check out the next morning and stayed at another hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The staff was great. Unfortunately, they did not know how to use the fire pit and that was a little disappointing, but overall the stay was comfortable and cute!
- 1/5
No room service
- 3/5
Having exterminator come in to get rid of ants. Found some in kitchen area.
- 1/5
Secondly, after the first night, I went out all day, came back to meet an untidy room, the room wasn’t cleaned .. had to ask for the room to be cleaned the next day.
- 4/5
Good stay for the price!
- 1/5
Not good bad people at reception in the morning
- 4/5
The rooms were very neat and clean. The only issue I had was no dish liquid to clean the kitchen, and plus parking fee should be mentioned upon booking, and it should be actual parking lot security since we have to pay. Fee
- 1/5
My room had not been cleaned upon check in on Thursday & remained filthy the ENTIRE five days, only my bed was changed. Mold in the shower, rust on the shower ceiling, the front desk staff did not ask for ID to give out addt’l room keys when you enter from the street at almost midnight. The district manager Francisco, doesn’t care whatsoever. No way this place is 3.9 stars. Worse than Motel 8, should cost $19.99 per night. My dog has stayed at better daycares. Signed, Tracie Bell.
- 2/5
Staff was very rude
- 4/5
Room big, all is well. Clean but not perfect clean.I just picky). I dont like smell in hotel, just dont like pafum, but again : i am picky). But ganeraly all well. I am glad i had small kitchen.
- 3/5
Furthermore, the hotel charges $20 per night for parking in a parking lot that is almost empty.
- 2/5
The Hotel Restaurant was closed. We specifically book hotels with their own restaurants after a long day of travel so we don't have to go back out and eat dinner. The Hotel was dirty everywhere - Hallways, elevators, entry, parking garage etc. Looks like the don't own a vacuum cleaner. The breakfast was subpar. The Scrambled eggs were a giant block of egg and the fruit was brown and very nasty. This hotel doesn't deserve the name "Hyatt" to be associated with it.
- 3/5
Pros: The bed was comfortable and linens clean. The shower had good water pressure and the blow dryer worked well. Usually blow dryers in hotel rooms don't work that great but this one was good.
- 1/5
Second, the hotel never disclosed the additional $25 daily parking fee. When I questioned it, they insisted a sign on the reception wall was sufficient notice, then threatened to tow my car and evict me. Overall, the property is poorly maintained, and the front-desk staff are unprofessional and rude. There are far better hotels in the Galleria area at the same price point—without surprise fees, unclean conditions, or staff who call the police rather than allow guests to speak with a manager.
- 1/5
Front desk staff were very rude.
- 3/5
I will not want to stay In Hyatt Houston again, I can try other Hyatt. Great place but i am not impressed
- 4/5
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
they charged me for parking when i didn't even have a car
- 3/5
2 stars only
- 1/5
The electric car we got was gave to us with an emprty battery. The next day we tried to recharge it. The intlet was broken. We had it towed. My wife got a panic attack. We found out the driver was taking us in the wrong direction. He couldn't speak a word in english. We tried google translate...our worst vacation ever. No more.
- 3/5
The hotel overall was ok for the price.
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed, very Nice staff, breakfast needed more variety. Especially for those who don’t eat beef or pork. Love the overall convenience of shopping and food in the area adjacent to the Hotel.
- 3/5
Excellent staff day and night, room was clean. I wish they would have cleaned my room each day. Thermostat didn’t work good. One of the elevators wasn’t working good. Overall, I would stay there again. Bed was very comfortable. I wish they had more variety for breakfast.

Everything was good until we left our room last weekend (Nov 1st) for a few to come back somebody had came into room removed our use towels but also went thru my purse and took my necklace and bracelet. I contacted front office on Monday following our stay representative stated she would get back with me still no response…. I’m not too happy about this stay at all that was a gift to me…
- 4/5
Room was clean, got good sleep, great breakfast options, good staff.

Nice area near the Galleria. Rooms were spacious and clean!
