Worst hotel we ever stayed. Full of roaches. We had to leave in the middle of the night to make sure we do not bring any roach to our home

No breakfast, no internet as advertised. The place was beaten down. I would suggest Expedia to review such hotels before showing in the listings.

Room was okay for the price. I reserved a king bed, but got a queen. Bed was very hard. What they call pillows are not. They are flatten pieces of I don't know what, but it was like putting your head on cardboard. Breakfast, what breakfast? Not the best place, but I have seen worse.

Do you have a bad road infestation there and the ice machine was broken and the elevator was broken… I had to switch rooms three times because the roaches were so bad….

Property smelled like mildew roaches everywhere the toilet would not flush anything down the this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at it literally needs to be shut down because ainn no way they're still in business

Nothing the most dirty place to stay. Horrible os not enough to describe the property. Roaches all over the tables a walls bathroom.

Don't want to sound rude but since the day I got there there were to many roaches everywhere and toilet and shower was not clean beds sheets had burns from cigarettes ect.

I never stayed at that hotel by the time I got there they told me they couldn’t use my card and then they jumped the price to $115 so I opened up the door and I walked out. I will never ever in my life go there again

Well when I woke up to go to the bathroom. There were roaches in the tub. The tub was very slippery I almost fell. When I put my sandwich down and I turned around roaches were on my sandwich. The iron broad was broken I couldn't use it. The chair at the desk the wheel came off. And when I had my curtains open a man was looking in my room. The next day I found out he cleans the rooms. So please do better. And tell that man to stop looking in people window. I was on the first floor because of my knees. And I can't do the stairs.

I gotten a room for 5 days. I walked into my room and I turned the light on and there were baby roaches all in the phone and larger ones scattering by my night table I went down and asked for another room and I was given one when I walked in the bedsheets had stains on it and until the cover there was a large brown stain I went and gotten king size sheets to sleep on from Walmart and a cheap blanket I left them there cause I wasn’t going to take them. The next night I had gotten pizza but I went and grabbed something from my car and I can back and I went to get my a slice of pizza and 4 roaches ran out of the box then I have pictures and videos of all of this…I went down and told the manager about it and he didn’t care and got upset and told me to lower my voice because others were around and I was very upset and I didn’t cuss and I wasn’t disrespectful I asked for another room and he refused and then said ok and gave me another room. I went to the next room given to me and it was worse than the first one I got there was blood on the sheets, and bedbugs and more roaches. I had gotten bedbug bites on my back, and butt and thighs and arms I was only there for 1 night and it was non-refundable as well. So I had to sleep on my car for 4 days. I don’t recommend sleeping in this NASTY HOTEL AT ALL!!! An this website didn’t help do a thing about it. I wasn’t credit any money and I wasn’t given a refund. I recommended ChatGPT for future help on picking a clean hotel.

Our room extremely dirty. One word disgusting . They didn't even vacuum our room . Bathroom was covered with someone's hair. Just because we already paid my wife went to the dollar store and get Bleach. She was cleaning their disgusting bathroom for an hour so we could take a shower. She bought mat because the bathtub was covered with stains. Sheets were stained, blankets were covered in burnes and stains. The room stinks . So if you have any dignity DO NOT stay there.

Then close it off with the airplane engines literally heard in your room all night. It was a nightmare Ladies and Gentlemen those pictures you see are absolutely fake.

This place was horrible roaches everywhere, staff didn’t help with anything. My room had a broken door and toilet they told me I had to wait in the morning to use the lobby bathroom and when I waited said I couldn’t and lied ti me and lied about having a plunger to fix there. Roman toilet there want any breakfast not even water or milk for what the had out the whole experience was just negative 100 I don’t recommend this place at all I don’t care how cheap it was

Nothing at all was good. There was pee on the headboard. The elevators were broken and its 3 floors outside. The bath tub was being held up by very old caulking tape, it looked like it was going to cave in, of course the paint was completely missing in the tub too. I asked for fresh sheets and a clorox wipe for the headboard but the front desk said they didn't have clean sheets nor did the have cleaning supplies. This place needs to close down. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

We had to have the staff change the sheets and pillow cases immediately because of nasty stains. There were also roaches. I will NEVER stay here again.

In my 49 years of living and 26 yrs of traveling. I have never in life seen such a monstrosity of a place. The towels were dingy an had black melted plastic. The pool was dirty, and never had access to it. Then the one of the owners woke us up at 6 a.m. asking for a signature after I had been there 5 days. Only for him to realize he didn't need it, cause I had gave cash deposit... Worst place in America to stay.

Room was not as pictured . Lobby not as pictured it was completely closed and we had to check in at a side window. When we checked into the room there were roaches bed and bathroom were dirty. We stayed two hours before needing to leave because we were so disgusted no refund was given

The staff was not very friendly. There were only two towels in the room. The elevators did not work. The pool was closed. There were roaches. And breakfast was only a small pack of muffins.

I couldnt made the checkin the guy at the checkin window which is right on the street since there is no physicall lobby inside the hotel, just told me that my reservatoin was cancelled by me, which of course was not true, I never cancelled my reservation but the guy had no other response other than blame to me for something I didnt do. Never stay at this hotel.

on june 22 i get room from Howard Johnson and then when i came to my room was so dirty,and smells so bad! i canceled my room!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had to go through. Dirty sheets, bed bugs, and cockroaches found in the bathroom. Booked two nights and did not even last an hour in the room. Highly recommend to stay away from this hotel. Currently trying to get a refund.

There was a bug (roach) that we found right away, The bathroom floor was really dirty, and we had to stand outside in the heat to check in. Also, housekeeping did not provide us with toilet paper or soap.

The hotel and accommodations were found to be in an unsatisfactory state. Despite a reservation for five nights, I was unable to occupy the room for even a single night. The online images of the room and hotel are not reflective of their current condition. The room presented with an unpleasant odor, the bathroom facilities were in disrepair, and the hotel overall appeared to be aged and poorly maintained.

Room had roaches and tub with peeling paint. Property is run down but for under $50 a night you really shouldn't be expecting much.

Lots of parking, easy check in and check out.

You have to check in, at a corner, something like a drive thru window. The lobby is not open to the public. The room they gave me first, reeked of cigarrete smoke. The next room had a filthy bathroom, and the bed sheets were dirty. The room corners were dirty, the bathtub was dirty. The hotel is not well maintained at all.

Please be aware. This is more like a motel. We should have known that it was going to be a bad experience when you could not go into the lobby at 5 pm to check in but had to go to a window situated like a bank teller. When we got into the room, the door would not shut properly as you can the door had been kicked in. The lamp shades had gross stains all over them as did the comforter. The tile was all broken in the bathroom & the water was a constant stream in the shower though it was on the off mode. When you check in it clearly states, no refunds. We stayed in the room for less than 10 minutes while we looked for another hotel room to rent for the night. When I went back to check out, the front desk clerk at the window outside didn’t even apologize when I told him why we were checking out & they should be embarrassed. I have stayed at other Howard Johnson affiliated hotels & have never been disappointed like this due to the uncleanliness.

Awful could not stay the night there were pest problems and a sketchy environment. Refused to refund me the room.

Filthy!!! And falling apart! The floor in between the beds was sinking, and we were on the 3rd floor. When I said something about it, they said they would make a note ( Like they didn't know). The tiles were broken in the bathroom and loose. When we checked in @4pm daytime, the lobby was closed had to use night window. ( Baddd area ) Even though pool looked clean and fine, they won't let anyone use it. There are transients w kids living there, which is probably why. Also not sure why but they put us at the very back. This place should not be on any website, it has huge safety issues.

The neighborhood was very sketchy. My room was very dirty. Spotted over 10 cockroaches when I turned on the lights, the ac didn’t work and they didn’t have fans available. The carpet had stuff all over it and the restroom (toilet/tub) was an entire puddle of water. I would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND! My daughter and I wouldn’t even sleep under the covers. We were dropped off so we could Uber (which was prepaid) to the airport or we would have found another place to stay.

Was dead bugs on bathroom floor , bed had a strange looking bug on it the blankets had multiple burn holes . Flooring was bad tub was dirty . But you get what you get for the price it’s good if you just need one night to get some rest..

The staff was very standoffish. The room is very gross and disgusting.The tiles were cracked. There were roaches in the bathroom dead and alive as well. I will kept being staying here again. There was no breakfast served. The door was locked for the front when they were supposed to be serving breakfast. The shower was dirty as well. The room smelled like someone had smoked weed or something close and it was a horrible smell.

Weren’t any other 2 bed rooms available. Tried to go to bed and deal with the issues in the morning but the bed sheets were dirty . They looked stained yellow. The comforter was stained with who knows what . Unfortunately it was already midnight and my kids were tired we stayed there that night sleeping over our clothes that we laid on the bed. The next morning we were out of there .

Check-in went smoothly. I booked a non-smoking king room. Once we got in the room it reeked of smoke. I went to sit my bag down on the desk and saw roaches crawling all over! I immediately went to notify staff and see if I could change rooms. Staff did not seem to care, as no apologies were offered. The staff told me there were no rooms available (despite the nearly empty parking lot) and if I didn’t want that room I could leave. She asked for the keys back immediately so she could process a refund. I let her know I had to get my things from inside still. So, I went back to the room and realized I didn’t even need a key. All I had to do was push the door open! Anyway, I got my refund and got the hell out of there. I got a decent room at the Sonesta down the street.

Rooms had bugs and smelled bad

Room 207 had an overpowering musty/cigarette smell and the door had a bad dent such that it didn't close all the way. We requested another room and we relocated to Room 101 and within 2 minutes of stepping in I saw a cockrach crawling up the sink wall. In the morning, they denied us breakfast even though we arrived before it was over - they said to grab whatever was still there. There was barely enough cereal to make two bowls for my kids, and when I asked for milk, they said it was gone. I asked if they could bring some out and they said whatever was there is all they had, but I it looked like they never set milk out because the metal milk jug had a lining of water at the bottom, and had there ever been milk, it would have had a lining of milk instead. My kids had to take the two bowls of cereal without milk and I had to go find milk elsewhere. Furthermore, their pool was undergoing "maintenance," and we couldn't get in. Do not stay here if your budget allows for better - their "breakfast and pool included" listing is a scam.

They have roaches and the water pressure is terrible also the breakfast could be way better! No real breakfast just snacks!

The smoke alarm was chirping all night and the TV cable went out. This was a poor rest for a weary traveler.

Our experience was horrible. Roaches everywhere! Dead roaches killed on the walls and left there. Roaches running EVERYWHERE!! Did not stay 5 min. Did not get a refund, property manager would not answer!

There were cockroaches crawling on the bed and all over my children and me.

The hotel allowed dogs to stay in the rooms which let me to be that is was trash the TVs did not work so no TV all weekend and I had kids with me the air conditioner did not work if you try to press it on low it kept going up high which made the room very stuffy there were only two tiles in the room the only thing I can say is I complain so much instead of me getting checked out at 11:00 they let me check out at 12:00 big deal I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I want my money back terrible terrible terrible

The room reeked of marijuana. Like someone had just been in there smoking. I can’t stand the smell but I also had my daughter with me. There was also still urine on the toilet seat. The lady at the front desk did give us another room. It was the room above it. Better ish. I could still smell the weed but not nearly as bad and the room was clean. The turn table in the microwave did not turn (not a deal breaker there). I would NOT stay there again and we were only there 5 hours. You could NOT pay me to stay there again.

Due to these serious sanitation and safety concerns, I left the property and will be requesting a full refund. I have photographs documenting these conditions. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BY STAYING HERE!

Room did not appear well-kept. Needed major repairs, shower had obvious water and other stains, there was a clump of hair on the floor, only received about an 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper and had to ask for more, found a roach in the room

Very run down and dirty. Mold on the shower curtain. Leak from the room above dripping through the light fixture. Not new as there was rust on the fixture. My last stay at a budget hotel.

Room was smell, Cockroach every where on the bed, husband and I were unable to sleep. We were supposed to stay for two nights, we instead stayed one night. Also the credit cards I used to check in was hacked. Received four alert frauds appear 0n 12/27 the morning I checked out. I deserved a refund for both night.

I cant never find the free breakfast

My Fiancé and I didn’t eat breakfast. The room was a 3/10. We saw roaches, the bathroom shower was gross, you would t want to step foot in it. Roaches crawled on the walls, lamp, and table. Customer service was non existent. I called the hotel over 10 times and never got through. Tried checking in and a note was on the glass.

The shower curtain was mildewed. Blankets and sheets in the beds were horrible. Looked like someone relieved themselves on the blanket. They don’t thoroughly clean those rooms nor do they care about the appearance.

Room was nasty , stains on bed sheets . So was broken didn’t close all the way peep hole also broken had to stick paper to cover . Bookee 2 night only stayed 1 had to book another hotel

Price for 2 days stay wasn't bad, breakfast wasn't good, carpet was very filthy, had a small roach problem but it wasn't to bad. I recommend the place if your not staying long besides that I think the need to clean there carpet, do beter in breakfast and maybe treat a bit the infection of the roach.

You get what you pay for, fridge works but not much, room is clean, and easy to check in albeit a bit slow.

Horrible, scary, unsafe, broken. Curtains fell down. AC didnt work well. Toilet leaking. Towel rack fell down. Brown stains in tub. Towels dirty. A 1/4 roll of TP no spares. Horrible check in. No phone to call for help.

There were roaches in the room the towels were stained and ripped up definitely won’t go back
