They offered a shuttle to pick up and drop off. The staff was very accommodating. I would highly recommend Marriott Medical Center Hopefully I will not need to visit the hospital but if I ever do I would stay at the Marriott

There was a mix up with our room and they upgraded us at no charge so that my mother could have the handicapped amities she needed.
- 4/5
breakfast vary very poor. boring limited items on menu. buffet not great, eg scrambled eggs too runny and tasteless
- 5/5
We were there for my wife’s annual cardiology check up. We ran into a problem that resulted in her hospitalization and an unplanned extension. I contacted the staff and they were very supportive and proactive in setting an additional stay at reasonable rates.
- 5/5
The hotel is very well-maintained and our room was clean and comfortable. The valet service for the shuttle was excellent with everyone involved giving special consideration to the passengers, most of whom were in Houston for medical reasons and were being transported to the various hospitals within the area.
- 5/5
Right in the center of the Medical District. Didn’t even have to go outside to get to my wife’s appointment.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
All was good but we’re so disappointed the pool was closed down. Will likely not stay again due to that. We have small children and it’s a must for us when we travel.

Charged more fees than Travelocity explained. Coffee only available in lobby on weekends, ran out quickly, ….

This is our second visit to this particular Marriott. The staff are more than accommodating! The wait staff at breakfast are amazing!

Old facility; uncomfortable beds and furniture; crispy carpet in room (yuk!); limited onsite dining; noisy area with emergency vehicles coming and going to nearby hospitals, hotel patio area on 4th floor was dirty, not well maintained, and very uninviting. Definitely not worth the per night room rate.
- 5/5
Nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, nice amenities
- 5/5
Everything has been wonderful! Ashlee at the front desk went above and beyond more than once in helping me out with a couple of different needs! I am extremely thankful and grateful!
- 5/5
Rooms were tidy, clean and comfortable bedding. Staff extremely courteous and accommodating.
- 5/5
Check-in was a breeze with friendly staff having everything ready. Room was first rate and the food in their sports bar was excellent. Very handy to Methodist hospital.
- 3/5
The room was real clean and everything was nice in the room, but the they were cleaning out the sewer right whenever you went to valet park the whole reception area and even up on our floor we’re staying smelled like sewer.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spotless. When I went to check in the gentleman handling my check in was friendly and very helpful. He was able to accommodate me into a double bed room since we were nurses riding out the winter storm. Conveniently located across the street from the hospital which is a big plus!
- 5/5
Staff were so accommodating to my needs

- 2/5
I booked one king about a month before, but somehow none were available and I had to have two queens. There was no hot water, so I could not shower or shave. I could not get any staff on the room phone. Definitely not the experience I signed up for, and this stay fell well below my expectations.
- 4/5
Very nice, clean room. No8thing fancy, but not bad at all.
- 5/5
In a great location for the Medical hospitals. the staff were professional, knowledgeable, & courteous especially Solomon at check in ...
- 1/5
I wish I’d had the opportunity to stay but our visit was based on an MD Anderson appointment which was canceled By Them last minute because they needed further evaluation of the pathology. I called immediately to cancel reservation but was told it was too late and without any attempt to understand the circumstances, we were charged regardless. Such a heartless policy.
- 4/5
The lady that checked us in was very polite and thorough. We requested extra blankets and a nice gentleman brought them promptly. The room was clean and well equipped.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Love the convenience to Methodist hospital.
- 5/5
Very nice location very convenient and close to where I needed to go
- 5/5
The hotel was amazing, not the most convenient for us to go to family but it worked.
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff even better.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Medical Center in Houston! The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our visit relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly—always ready to assist with anything we needed. The overall experience was excellent, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. We would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Comfortable bed, very clean, very good food, quite, friendly stuff and hotel shuttle works easy.
- 4/5
Staff was great, but you've made a terrible mistake having them check in people PLUS take room service orders. It's too much for them. Why wouldn't you have a direct line to room service?
- 3/5
The room was clean; however, the handheld washer in the shower was broken, causing the water to spray out of the hose instead of the shower head. The bed was uncomfortable and I slept poorly. My wife ended up sleeping on the sofa chair. The price of the room was barely worth the convenience of the location. (My appointment was across the street. The "Free" wifi cost $15 which we were told would be deducted from the bill after check out only after we inquired. The hotel restaurant was highly recommended; however, the salads we ordered were not at all worth the $17/each price paid. A Great disappointment. The staff was helpful and courteous. Overall, I have stayed at budget hotels with a better price/experience value. I have travelled all over the world and stayed at a vast variety of hotels, B&B's and rentals, and for the price paid here, I couldn't help but feel taken advantage of. I will not be staying here again, though my business will bring me back several times over the next few months.

If you are visiting a patient at Methodist Hospital, this is your best hotel. Convenient crosswalk directly to the hospital on the second floor. Clean rooms and excellent service.

Enjoyed the stay
- 4/5
Convenience because it's close to the various hospitals. It was clean. I didn't enjoy the hotel allowing pets (someone had some yappy dogs nearby). Restaurants were just okay and I felt were overpriced. I spent around $35 for breakfast, it was not great. Coffee was not great and dinner was just average for about $50. Will definitely eat conservatively if I stay again.

Wife and I have been staying here numerous times based on proximity TO MD Anderson Cancer. This one time however, I booked the room through a 3rd party method (Expedia) and was shocked to receive a room which looked like it was waiting to be rebuilt. All wall pictures missing with holes in the walls where they were (incl bathroom), booked a King and got a double, refrigerator did not even cool, television was inop. I now realize when you don't book directly through Marriott, you won't be treated on the same level. Seems they don't make as much $ on the room rate (even though the rate with taxes was $325.00) so you don't get the same quality room. Yes, I demanded and received a different room (gee- just like the one I booked), but it sure felt like I initially received a "discounted" room based on my having booked through Expedia. While we're Marriott Bonvoy members, this seemed awfully shady and NOT a good business practice. Extremely disappointed after having previously stayed here several times while undergoing cancer treatment. All the other benefits of staying in a M Club room were great as usual (especially the M-Club staff) was outstanding. Additionally the shuttle drivers were awesome as usual. Hopefully this was/will be an isolated incident.

Is very close to him the Anderson it’s only five minutes walk in the staff. They’re very nice.

Dining in this hotel is limited IMO. The person at the bar was definitely not happy to be at work the evening we stopped in. Overall it was a nice clean place but might try a different hotel next time.
- 5/5
We just graduated to the M-Club & it's great! The only issue we have is there
- 5/5
Nice hotel and good service. I will use again
- 4/5
I like the transportation service it make movement easy for someone who is sick and who has to attend medical visits and to visit the museum and go to restaurant on free time

Convenient location to Houston Methodist hospital.
- 5/5
This hotel is very convenient to all the hospitals in the medical center. The front desk staff Mr. Jose was amazing. We were given the courtesy of an early check in that we needed
- 4/5
Nice hotel just didn’t have a refrigerator in the room. Microwave was in the hallway near the ice
- 5/5
The check in staff, bell man and shuttle crew were incredible. Nice, welcoming and helpful. I can’t wait to return to this property.
- 5/5
I order room service the 2nd night and the food was amazing. Hotel was quiet for such a busy area. Valet parking was worth the money.
- 5/5
Thank you.

Good location
- 3/5
We usually stay at The Rotary House, but couldn't get in. At check-in there were 5 people behind the check-in counter, 3 appeared to not be doing much. The lady who checked us in, was pleasant enough, but not really friendly. The room was clean but not worth over 300.00. The room at The Rotary House you can get a suite for what we paid for this room. The front desk staff are always very friendly, the rooms are bigger for less money. In short, or I guess longer, I expected more. However the restaurant staff, valet, driver to M.D. Anderson and concierge were excellent. They were friendly and extremely helpful with my husband, who is wheelchair bound, and myself.
- 5/5
Peaceful and relaxing stay.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Semi close to the stadium. The hotel shuttle won’t go to the stadium. Parking was also additional.

Hi perfect location for Nrg concerts - the train just outside - staff very helpful and friendly

This property is convenient and considerate to hospital patrons. Clean and accommodating

Terrible bedd
- 5/5
Garage attendants were always prompt, professional, and courteous.
- 2/5
There were stains on the bedsheets, and some of the pillows smelled like pee, and some of the pillows smelled like bologna. We called down for room service and they said they would call us back but after 45 minutes, we went down to the restaurant then in 15 minutes we got the call for room service and I loosely said we waited for an hour. It was 50 min She got upset that I said anything about it. We checked out the same evening and went home. not recommended.
- 5/5
We atay every few months and we are very grateful we found this property. Its worth every penny for the comfort and convenience.
- 5/5
Very ideal location when having medical visits in the Texas Medical Center. Can walk without safety concerns to adjacent facilities.
