Reviews
The hotel is praised for its convenient location at the airport and friendly staff, but is criticized for being overpriced and charging for amenities like Wi-Fi. The food is generally well-liked, but the layout of the elevators and construction noise are mentioned as issues.

Unbeatable location. Concierge was friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. Complementary toiletries were cute and very useful. Not a fan of carpet floors. It was expensive for what is offered.
- 3/5
The mattresses need to be updated and the carpet needs to be removed and new in. It is very outdated.

One of the most amazing and convenient places we've ever stayed. Food, staff and facilities perfect!
- 4/5
The quality of the food at the restaurant is extraordinary!
- 2/5
Location at the airport. Easy to access. Cleanish once in the room Old, gloomy, the empty pool and unkept grounds does not feel like a major airport hotel. Its appearance made me feel a bit unsafe, especially being on the same floor as the empty pool. Very expensive for what it was. Perhaps it should offer short stay, day rate or hourly options rather than be so expensive for so little.
- 5/5
I would like to comment on the restaurant staff. They have all been fast and efficient an there is one server who goes above and beyond to make guests welcome and that is Patti who has been working there for many years. What a great employee.

Great convenient location to IAH connections
- 3/5
We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good, which for a airport hotel is not often the case. The beds were comfortable too. The pool had no water which was very disappointing as we were looking forward to a swim after our 14hr flight from Auckland. The hotel is very dated on the 1st floor where we stayed and needs some love.

Conveniently located inside of IAH. Good for a night if you have a long layover. Nothing exceptional, rooms are a little small, but it was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly. The hotel bar has a good menu and it was surprisingly lively the night we were there. We would stay here again on trips where we have a long layover due to the location and convenience. The hotel does not provide any bottled water in the rooms. You have to buy water from the hotel shop and it’s a little pricey. For the rates they charge, a couple of bottles of complimentary water seems reasonable. WiFi was slow and if you aren’t a Bonvoy member I think you have to pay for it. Again, for the price, I think WiFi should be included.

Asked for a crib for our toddler and it didn’t come with a mattress. It came with a small pad that would be downright mean to make a toddler sleep on.

It is a convenient place to stay when you have a long layover at the Houston airport. The airport train literally takes you to the hotel lobby- super easy to find! Although it is pricey, it is very convenient. I also enjoyed that the room service was open till 10 pm and we could eat dinner in our room comfortably.
- 5/5
It's huge and have to walk
- 4/5
When traveling and having an overnight at an airport hotel - not all want a full meal at a restaurant in the hotel - and maybe older travelers do not do Door Dash, etc. It would be nice if the small sundrie store have more of a variety in food.

Staying at the airport for an early morning flight completely relieved my travel anxiety!! Well worth the price! The staff were friendly and helped us get all of our bags to the room!
- 1/5
The website said breakfast was included but we clearly had to pay for this as well. The pool was drained, wish they would've told us this beforehand. The a/c in the room did not work properly making the smell in the room all that much worse. Will never stay or recommend this hotel. For the price, not worth it at all.

My sheets had a blood stain on them
- 2/5
Woke up, after just arriving at 11pm last minute due to a cancelled connection, to the front desk staff and a group of potential hotel guests banging on my door, trying to use the key card to get in. Scared me as I was traveling alone and had just fallen asleep before a new flight at 5;15am. They were trying to use the key card, when it didn’t work they continued to try to open the door by yanking on the handle. I almost called for support until the front desk lady announced who she was. Apparently the front desk didn’t realize I was occupying the room. Not a pleasant experience.

My husband and I stayed the night before out flight. The tram was super helpful to get to airport. Even being right at the airport it was super quiet and clean. All staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee shop in the lobby was awful, wait to get coffee at the airport.
- 5/5
All the expected airport hotel grandeur.
- 4/5
It is excellent for overnight stay. Access to food and immediate access to terminal.
- 5/5
Outstanding Front Desk

- 5/5
Clean, well-stocked coffee in room, easy access to/from airport via subway
- 3/5
The hotel is being refurbished. The pool had no water in it etc. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bar and restaurant were solid but the front desk staff gave me a much smaller room with only one bed. When I showed them that I actually booked and paid for a two queen bed room they did give me the room but did it in a manner like they were doing me a favor. This is the only hotel inside the airport and is very convenient but monopolies don’t have to provide courteous service.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
We always enjoy our stay at the Marriott. The access to the tram that goes to the airport makes traveling a lot easier.
- 5/5
Restaurant on site was excellent.
- 3/5
The wayfinding to the hotel from the Terminals is horrible if you've never been to this airport before. Essentially, you have to get down to the subway before seeing any helpful signage. When you get off your plane, don't look for signs to the hotel and ignore the ones you see. Just get to the subway and you'll get good signage from there. I think their website assumes everyone has already been to the Houston Airport so they don't help you much. The lobby, restaurant, and bar area look very nice and upscale but the rooms are a just a clean version of a Motel 6. So, it'll do for a night but not much longer than that. The room will not impress you at all but they are clean and not beat up.
- 5/5
Great hotel and location
- 5/5
Very convenient hotel next to the terminals, especially for an early flight. Rooms are comfortable. The restaurant onsite is always fun to go to. They have great people serving you and the food is delicious.

Rex in the restaurant was so polite and an excellent server. Overall the staff was very good and helpful. Often you had to wait for help..it’s a busy hotel. It would be nice to have more direction on how to navigate IAH BEFORE you have to ask. Things like having to check your bag in terminal C if flying United, even if your leaving from another gate The whole subway and sky rail could be explained better at hotel. Food was good. Coffee bar good. I would recommend above the competition. .
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Easy to access using the subway. Nice airport view. We only stayed overnight so we didn’t have time to check out everything.

Great Stay!

We had a long layover and it was so nice to hydrate, shower, and sleep!

Clean room, comfortable beds and very convenient for flying.
- 5/5
The hotel is comfortable, convenient, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff are always welcoming and attentive. Its direct connection to the airport makes travel incredibly easy. We have stayed here multiple times and continue to have great experiences. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free start to their travels!

Clean room Excellent cleaning

For that price the pool was drained & not open?!? Didn’t care for the scent of the gel shower soap & shampoo. Heavy & masculine. $33 additional charge (+tax +tip) for b’fast?!? No thank you.
- 3/5
No safe rooms. How can a Marriott not have a safe in rooms!!!
- 1/5
Do not book the managers try to not honor Expedia pricing and then over charge your card without giving a receipt. They give you a 10 day parking pass that you paid more for and when you get back from your trip in the middle of the night the pass ends up not working
- 5/5
Love the location with quick access to the airport. Rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable. Dinner at Flights was great and very convenient. Staff was exceptional
- 1/5
$20 for an internet connection? $8 for water? no complimentary coffee? took advantage of me needing an airport hotel (i.e., few other options for me for that night). good for them, but i'll never stay there again.
- 4/5
It was fine

- 5/5
the proximity of the hotel to the airport makes it so convenient if you’re staying in the Houston area
- 5/5
Very convenient to IAH via subway that runs outside the security zone, one level below baggage claim. Very clean room. Quiet. Helpful staff.
- 5/5
Very convenient with access to the terminals using the subway train.
- 5/5
I was especially impressed with the care received at the flight bar & grill. I’ve not received the outstanding service that we received in a very long time. The room was perfect for our needs. Thank you al
- 3/5
I used to stay here with United Airlines. On work. The place is really showing its age. The beds are definitely needing replacing. Our room was so dusty that we coughed all night long. The lobby is in great condition but the rooms the outside access having to walk through the heat just probably won’t be staying here again. you have to pay for Wi-Fi if you are not a Marriott member. You have to still put a $50 deposit down for incidentals. A bottle of soda that you would get at the store for two dollars is almost 7 dollars. Just nickel and dime and don’t forget breakfast is like $32 per person for a buffet.
- 3/5
The TV in my room was malfunctioning, the air conditioner was inconsistent, and the place as a whole needs renovation.
- 5/5
Great location, nice bar and live band.
- 5/5
Experience was very easy. Food and drink were very good
- 4/5
Staff were all help and polite. Ana from front desk left us a welcome message card and it was very nice gesture. The building itself is very old. I see the lift ups here and there but looks like a patch up. Looks like they had bad contractors for the renovation. Pool was u see renovation and closed. They don’t know when it will open as of May. I will use here again just for the staff and convenience of location. However the building is very old so I might try some newly built hotel also nearby with free shuttle bus.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff were very nice.
- 5/5
Ana at the front desk was amazing. We checked in and she gave us a room around noon. The property is many years old but it’s well maintained. The room was nice and clean. The bar and restaurant were excellent too. Will be back.
- 1/5
The only reason I gave a 1 star rating is because it doesn’t allow me to give a zero star rating. You would think after the back up beeping you listen to through out the night that at least you could have a shower with water pressure. But no. Next time will stay somewhere else.
- 1/5
This place is a motel 6. Carpets are stinky. The lobby is very misleading !

- 5/5
The check-in process was very smooth and efficient. The staff were very inviting, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was very clean and appeared as presented in photos. The location was extremely convenient in getting to the airport.

The hotel was adequate. We needed an overnight stay for one night, just a short break from vacation before flying home. The hotel room was adequate. The staff was great: check in, check out, and hotel dining.

From the moment we arrived, Bailee was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She made the check-in process easy, offered us the option to upgrade, and helped us get access to the Marriott M Club, which made our stay much more comfortable after a long day of travel. Since I was traveling with my elderly parents, she also helped arrange wheelchair service for the next day so we could get back to the IAH terminal without any trouble. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was throughout the entire interaction. She even wrote us a sweet note thanking us for staying at the hotel, which was such a kind and personal touch. Travel disruptions can be overwhelming, especially when traveling with elderly family members, but Bailee’s warmth and professionalism made a huge difference for us. My parents and I are very grateful for her help and hospitality. Marriott is lucky to have someone like her representing the brand.
