Beautiful facility, clean, wonderful rooms and great food. I love this hotel. I've stayed more than once. Not only is it beautiful but the food is good and all the staff are very nice and helpful. Sitting out back drinking coffee by the fountain, you feel like your not in the middle of Houston. Good area and can walk over to a few shops and restaurants.

Beautiful establishment with lovely spacious rooms, exceptional staff, delicious food and a beautiful courtyard and pool for perfect relaxing afternoons and evenings 💯👌!

Room was not ready I upon arrival for 3 people as booked. Front desk said they would give an upgrade ( I had booked a junior suite) and they put me in a smaller room. I complained and moved rooms again. Troy who was the manager in charge was amazing and made sure all was set before he held including being able to order food which was not charged. Room first night was very noisy with an AC engine on all night with permanent noise. Windows are not sound proof. I had to move rooms next day. When we decided to use the kitchen in the room I realized the cutlery was dirty with dry food inside. Took pictures and showed to waiter who was embarrassed. Troy showed up again and didn’t charge for the dinner that evening. He was really the highlight of the hotel. The only staff member who really cares and moves the needle to fix the issues. Thank you Troy!

The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The valet service was especially efficient - we never waited more than 2 minutes for our car! The hotel even has a courtesy car for close-by restaurants or shopping! Our room was HUGE and very comfortable - the a/c was the best I’ve ever felt, especially for the hot, muggy weather. I look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel!

Granduca-Houston did not disappoint. It was luxurious, but not trashy/gaudy, as some Houston hotels in the area tend to be, quiet, staffed with good people and loaded with useful amenities. We travel to Houston frequently and the Granduca will be a welcomed respite while in town.

INterior renovation is fabulous but exterior is still a bit shabby. Particularly pool area.

Hotel is very convenient and beautiful. Our stay was great. Room was convenient and clean. Beds are very comfortable with great white bedding. Bathroom was big and nice. Bar area is excellent and lunch the provided was very tasty. It was very very nice stay. Thanks

On Expedia shows a certain caliber of reviews and stars for the quality of the hotel and the service just did not match what was promised. The service in general was very slow. Between the valet service and request requesting things from the front desk I always had to call twice. Additionally, I went to the bar and the bartenders were also very slow and it was not even full. It was only myself and another couple at the bar. I also thought that the hostess of the restaurant was very rude and not very warm and are welcoming. My room also had issues such as tile that is separating from the walls in the bathroom and every time you shower, the floor of the bathroom would flood. Additionally, I requested a late checkout and I was told it would be an additional $100 and when I still requested only one hour difference in the late checkout housekeeping was still barging into the room unannounced, even though hours before I had notified the front desk, I wanted a late checkout.

December 2023 the pool was warm and hot tub was hot. December 2025 the pool was very cold, no longer temp controlled, and hot tub was chilly, with very little temp control. So pool was disappointing. Everything else was great!

The lobby is absolutely beautiful. The rooms could use updating, but they are still nice.

This is literally one of the Best Hotel I have stayed at. I loved everything about it. I would highly recommend it. I was there with friends celebrating my birthday. Everyone had an amazing time…

yes the we were there only one night the bathroom should have more towels in general and add tissues .also the a/c did not really work correctly . If we were there for any length of time. wewould have ask to correct these .

We had a great 3 night stay and enjoyed the area. The hotel and staff are some of the best we have experienced. The complimentary shuttle is nice and has a 2 mile radius from the hotel. This allows travel to many nice restaurants and sights in the area.

This is a cool hotel and is in a fantastic location.

Will be staying here everytime I come back to Houston - loved it! Made the work trip so much easier coming back to a relaxing atmosphere.

Price went by $200 at check in. Doesn’t offer alot of amenities for the price.

Absolutely Amazing

Great hotel, very attentive staff. Excellent service. The TV could be improved. For such an upscale hotel I was surprised that the did not have Netflix or Prime. Although the TV had a large numbers of stations, it had no menu/listing, so one could not see had was on each station except by watching it for a while. Not very convenient!!!

The hotel room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and soft. The staff were kind and friendly and very helpful. I like that there were multiple spaces to gather or work or dine.

Our nice sized room was spacious, c clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker, bar sink, microwave and stove top. There were no dishes so not sure how you could heat up anything on the burners. There was no refrigerator and what might have been a bar was locked with nothing inside. We enjoyed the pool area the attendant was efficient and friendly. We ate a breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food was mediocre. Overall, we loved the hotel and service and would return but would probably go out to eat our meals since there are so many restaurants close by.

The staff was excellent and the room was excellent. Could not have asked for a better getaway. Poolside was great but did have an issue with the event going on there that the pool did not have enough umbrellas to accommodate all sitting locations. Our umbrella was moved because we put it down to get some sun and when i asked for an umbrella, they staff said they did not have anymore. Other than that the restaurant was amazing the library was so comfortable. The entire staff in the hotel were just very welcoming and kind.

We love it here for stay-cations. We are so blown away but the renovation it’s beautiful and really matches the incredible service!

We always love staying at this hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food in the Remi restaurant is outstanding. Response time in getting your car from valet or for someone to help with luggage is almost immediate. The rooms are quite large and little extras like high quality toiletries, a robe, and slippers are appreciated.

Service turned up another notch. An overall very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

I just love the two Hotel Granducas. They hire the best people and have excellent food. They have updated their properties recently and I think they are a hidden gem!

I really liked and enjoyed my time there. The only thing I didn’t like was how early the hot tub/ pool closes. They closed them down at 10 pm. So I didn’t get to experience that amenity.

I am sure it is normally a nice hotel but it was under construction and this fact wasn’t clear when booking. A rendering of what the “new lobby” will look like after the renovation!

Would have been nice to know it was under renovations. Also there was no body soap in the room just hand soap. Super nice place when it’s all running but this trip was a let down.

We love the Granduca. The ongoing construction is hard but we know it will make the property better. I feel and hope the entrance and the new valet group are as great as the previous ones. The always familiar valet always remembered my mom and helped her inside with her luggage. It's the extra things that matter!

I usually stay here because I like that they have a restaurant / bar in the hotel so i dont have to go out at night. However, it was under construction and was not made aware of that until i arrived. I do think once the construction is done it will be great. The staff was lovely.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years on our regular visits to Houston, but this will be the last time. The hotel is undergoing major renovation and has been sold. All services were crammed into one small space and only the service elevator worked. Guests make their way down a back service corridor to find the elevator. No food service was available from the hotel and the only bar was the vestibule for the former restaurant. Despite the inconvenience and lack of all services, we were charged the full price for the former luxury boutique hotel. No advance notice of the construction or limited services was provided.

Right after my booking became nonrefundable, the hotel sent an email saying that construction is happening in the hotel and that the restaurant would be closed. Turns out the construction is massive. It woke me up every morning hours before my alarm, there was banging all day. The pool is closed off from the hotel and requires a several minute walk outside to get to. There were guys saying wood and working right next to the pool deck and hauling wood and other materials. Dreadful stay at a usually very good hotel.

Great property but hindered by the ongoing construction

It was under construction with nothing available to us only an elevator to the room. Not a bathroom not food notbing. Freezing hotel 0 customer service. They rmailed me about the construction 1 night before o arrived. Bad customer service. I would have never stayed therebfor the rates they charge if i knew this. The room was not clean and old. they skipped servicimg my room just because i was still in it at 9 am. They never came back.

Hotel is under major renovations/ construction. Charging an exprbant rate a night is ridiculous for just a room with no restaurant/bar/lounge area/lobby. Only 1 elevator working so takes forever to get to your room. We respectfully did not stay and got a refund. Very kind staff and not their fault so I feel bad for them having to work in these conditions.

The staff is very nice but the hotel is under construction and that would have been nice to know when I booked. I had no idea until I arrived.

Hotel did not disclose that it was doing a major remodel until 48 hours before checkin and too late to change the reservation. Not impressed. Restaurant was excellent.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. According to staff, renovation is supposed to conclude by early December. Would stay again AFTER renovations. But definitely not worth the rate per night right now.

We love The Granduca! It is our home away from home! When you check in ask for Alica!! She is the best! She will calmly and patently take care of you. This stay we had an unfortunate check in when Thu interrupted and abruptly told us there were no other rooms. Thu is not for everyone. We got a room after I had to point out that I had just seen my friend release her two rooms.All the staff is so warm and friendly.
