Overall the property was great; however, for some reason there was an issue with the hot water that when I was showering the steam produced caused an allergic reaction on me. Right now I have throat irritation due to that, I am assuming the chemical balance of the water was not the proper one to cause this issue.

en i come to Houston Texas because i never have a problem but this past stay on saturday july 25th-26th ROOM 401! i was walking in with my husband and the employee at the desk who is the general manager kept telling us that we cant be there and that my husband needs to leave and get out. I continued to walk off because i thought she was joking. As i walked off she screamed saying she was calling security, i proceed to ask her what is the issue but she kept saying he needs to get out and wouldnt give me explanation. My husband asked her if she has him confused but she proceeded to scream at us and say that he was a previous employee who was banned and needed to leave. We then told her that we have never lived in texas nor worked there ever and she finally asked us for id and she said that she thought he was someone else. Yet still never gave an apology to us. This was very disrespectful of her and im a terribly offended by this. She basically discriminated him for someone who she had mistaken him for and never even apologized for the mistake. Then after even giving her the id she proceeded to say that he looked like the person who was banned and also said that he wasnt a guest that was checked in. I booked the hotel under my name not him so that should not even matter. I really need compensation or need something worked out for this terrible experience. I feel very discriminated and this should not happen to no one there. The second i stepped into the hotel she accused my husband of being someone else even called security. If security showed up that could have gone wrong too. She know that she was wrong and very much owes us an apology. Very nice staff, front desk and the kitchen ladies. Always helpful, always nice. Good breakfast with quite some variety and options.

We had issues with the TV and because people from facilities were not available. We got guidance from the front desk

Clean!!!! The front desk male clerk was decent with me but was very rude to a lady before me. He made a negative comment to me about her, so was not very professional, he could use some customer service training.

The bathroom shower floor was super slick. We both slipped multiple times and I fell completely onto the shower floor

Extremely noisy hotel. Employees chitchatting in the hallway at all hours, Constant door slamming and banging noises late at night and early in the morning.

Coffee maker in my room didn’t work but the coffee downstairs was great . Good service

The breakfast was also over an hour late from the time posted that it would be available. And the lights were off in the breakfast area for most of our breakfast. The room was fairly clean, beds were pretty firm. Bathroom was a bit moldy looking.

Breakfast was on point and fresh. The only thing I can say is the lack of a better shower liner to prevent a flood from getting outside the tub and maybe an update to the old curtains in the rooms it’s the only thing tha really needs fixing the rest wss great staff wss accommodating and amazing

The room was nice. Comfortable bed. Clean. They had food items available to purchase in the lobby - including frozen dinners, chips, drinks.

We always stayed overnight. Staff was good and courteous. Don't think we use the Wi-Fi, but it was offered if you needed. The only bad thing I have to say is even though it's not smoking when we walked in I could smell that somebody had been smoking in the room. It just kind of stays in the furniture and walls you know. But all in all for an overnight trip it was good.

This is remodeled hotel, but you can easily see where there still needs to overhaul…baseboards in hallway

The Front End were very helpful upon check-in and the breakfast was well prepared each day.

Very clean room. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk with. Easy parking and safe. I was very impressed with this facility and its staff. My wife and I will definitely stay here the next time we get to Houston. Thanks.

Nice snd clean hotel

The toilet half worked. I was in a room right above the entrance and a bunch of cheerleaders thought it was a good idea to yell and cheer for like an hour at 8pm. Which was right in front of the front desk. Kinda obvious. And no I shouldn’t have to call and complain for someone to tell them to quiet down. And I could hear doors slamming through the night.

Everything was great except that our room was facing the busy street which was noisy almost all night that made it hard to sleep

Good stable variety. Shredder cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream would be a plus. I could tell they are improving to area, and I saw nothing to be worried about as far as safety of the area.

Hotel was clean, good service, good food. However, bad location. Very difficult to safelt get into the property. Due to location off main intersection unable to get good rest because of loud music, emergency sirens, and constant passing vehicles. Overall hotel stay was good.

This was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Cars revving engines on the road outside all through the night. Walls are also paper thin inside.

I found the personnel friendly and the facility immaculate. Food was easy to find nearby and I felt safe.

There was no blackout curtain in the room and the drapes could not be pulled over the window. Room was next to a warehouse with great lighting at night. Exhaust fan just screamed but did nothing.

Our only complaint is lighting the the bathroom sucked. Two little 40 watt, maybe, bulbs. In fact lighting in the entire room was poor. My wife went to the window to put on her makeup. Please fix the wattage of bulbs!!

Very clean, very comfortable beds and plenty of water in the showers. No issues with our room and to top it off the breakfast it’s worth paying the extra!!! it is more than just continental breakfast!

Pool was under construction. Wasn’t able to use it in holiday inn didn’t make us aware.

Very clean , has a fridge and a microwave along with a keurig machine. Location is great 30 min from nike clearance store and downtown houston. My stay was great !

The staff were excellent! Room was clean and spacious. We had early mornings, and this was perfect absolutely no noise. Free internet!

BEST SERVICE EVER

We chose this hotel for Beyonce concert weekend. It was in Driving distance of NRG and felt like a safe option with security. We had a 2 queen room with a couch and that was the perfect amount of room for 3 people preparing for a concert. I read reviews from countless places and almost didn’t choose this one but I’m glad I did. It was what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The breakfast was amazing and the staff managing it were so incredibly thoughtful and nice. I would stay here again.

Quiet!!

It took almost 45minutes to check in. Keep in mind I am second in line. The line was growing while the receptionists was on the phone with another person who was looking to book a room for next week. As busy as this hotel was @ 9 pm you would think that it would be at least 2 people in front to check in. I finall made it to check in and despite how busy he was he so polite and friendly. You could tell he was very stress and everyone was not being polite to him because of the long wait. He told me he needed my license plate number so my car would not be towed and to write it down on the paperwork. I went outside and waited 10min to return paperwork and left again because I did not want to wait. I went to my room and came back an hour later to return the paperwork so my car wouldn’t be towed and the line which is wrapped around in the lobby luckily this time he noticed me and I just handed it to him. Hey get your employees help. I was so tired and exhausted and waiting for almost an hour to check in is not cool. Kiddos to that employee for staying so polite and helpful.
