Pool was clean, room was clean, staff was very very nice

This was our second time to stay here during 2026 to visit family. The property and room appeared maintained and clean. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. The coffee was good and we appreciated fresh bananas and yogurt each morning. We had a larger room with additional seating for no extra charge. Clean towels and linens were appreciated. Some features with which we were disappointed are watered down orange juice, pancakes that came out of the machine a bit gooey and gravy that was pasty. None of the hot food on the menu was hot. There were rust spots on the tub, paint blotches on the floor, worn edges on the face of the vanity and weathered metal towel bar under the sink. (Photos wouldn’t load.)

The room was cold and clean. Free breakfast was yummy. The check in and out staff were very kind and attentive. It also was quiet which is awesome for a good nights sleep. Would stay here again without hesitation.

one of the elevators was out. and they usually provide freshly cooked oatmeal cookies in the afternoon but their oven was non functional. other than that a good breakfast and stay.

Was a great location for us, clean and very friendly. But we could not get hardly any hot water. Reported but maintenance had already left for the day.

I loved my stay, staff was very helpful, very clean, also great location. I really liked that they provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Not too many hotels do that anymore. We especially loved the breakfast.... even pancakes..yummy

I quickly made a reservation not knowing when it was going to be restored and with this heatwave in Houston I was not going to stay home. I enjoyed my one night stay and had breakfast the next morning and enjoyed it!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well during my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. Breakfast had a good variety of options and was convenient before heading out for the day. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would consider staying here again.

The hotel staff was very nice called to check if our room was satisfactory.The room was clean you could tell it was an older hotel could us a little up grade but the beds were comfortable air conditioning worked great overall it was an ok place to stay .It was a little noisy next to the freeway.

It’s an amazing hotel. Close to everything even walkable. Love it.

There were no hot breakfast. It was basically a scam... You can consider it as if there is no breakfast. To me all cold pastries is not breakfast. There were no eggs, no cheese, no sausage. Thre were only pastries and bananas Breakfast and carpet must be changed. Jacuzzi must be heated.

Breakfast is pretty good and some staff are really good. Even they helped me when I forgot mobile charger and helped me in guiding the nearest places. While booking itself, I requested invoice on company name via booking.com. Upon following up, they were telling it is booking.com will issue and booking.com says, it is hotel to issue. Till now I didn't received requested invoice and not cleared yet.

The rooms, bathrooms and lobby were very clean. The beds were thick-comfort and so very nice. The a/c worked perfectly. No noise issues at all. The breakfast had biscuits, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes and breads. Nice hot cinnamon rolls.

Good location in proximity to key areas. Breakfast is really decent! The bathrooms are in serious need of an upgrade. The highway facing rooms are noisy with the highway noise. Beds are also very springy, and not a nice mattress.

We arrived earlier than check in time and were able to get into a room. The staff behind the counter were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast options were ok, the room was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel with wonderful staff housed in a dated building that needs some work. We stayed her for the indoor pool. The first night the pool was shut down, the second night it was reopened after repairs. The water literally burned my skin as the chlorine level was so high. But, that would be my only complaint. Breakfast is wonderful and this hotel is very family friendly.

Hotel was exceptionally clean and hot tub and pool were clean. Rooms were clean they’ve been renovated. My only complaint is that one of the two nights we stayed there , it was no more chocolate chip cookies put out in the lobby like the first night we stayed =). Other than that would stay here again.

The hotel is older, but was clean and the staff was friendly, bed was comfortable etc. one side entry was not working. I have 2 complaints the AC was not cooling properly and the door into the room had a large gap all around it.

Since it is located right next to busy highways, it gets very noisy which quite bothers sleeping. Perhaps the hotel needs to improve its soundproofing. I also couldn’t use the A/C because the filter was out and had a lot of dust on it. The room itself looked pretty old, good thing was I only had 1 night reserved. Pros would be free parking and breakfast included.

Both the night and day staff were welcoming and helpful! The room was pleasant and clean, plus!

The only part i would like to change it is the acondicionador. It is loud. But the rest is nice for a quick stay.

Fantastic stay! The breakfast was first rate, more than I was expecting. The amenities were luxurious, the lighting, ample, or subtle, whichever you wanted. Everything was very clean, pillows were fluffy and beds very comfy. I saw some people complain about the heat in the rooms and the noise from the highway, but we did not experience either. In fact, the air-conditioning works so well we had to turn it down once we got in the room! Full lighting in the bathrooms, and a sink big enough for two people’s bathroom kits. Would highly recommend and will probably stay here again!

The FIRST time I left my room to go eat I was unable to return to my room because the key would NOT work. With only ONE elevator, I had to return to the desk FOUR TIMES and I'm a disabled veteran. Which was the MAIN problem, I requested a disabled room in advance but none were available. So riding an elevator, waiting in the hall and going back and forth to the desk was extremely tiresome. The last time was at 10:00 PM when I returned from a Military function wearing heels. On my forth trip downstairs, I asked the staff at the desk to come to the room and at THAT time, the card worked. Upon time for checkout, I was afraid to lock my door for fear of being locked out so I had to make two trips with my bags and LEAVE my door ajar. Two times I was in the elevator with staff that attempted to keep me off the elevator by slanting their carts toward the entrance of the elevator, one was named Danielle, the other acted as if she couldn't understand English when I observed her speaking to the desk staff just fine. And another got on the elevator, with coffee in her hands, only to get off on the 2nd floor. And lastly, there are MORE parking spaces for Diamond members than handicapped customers. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again when im in town for veteran events.

Only thing I would note for anyone staying, it's right next to IH 10 so might be noisy. The area didn't feel safe for me and my daughter but that's probably b/c we arrived late in the evening.

Overall very good hotel; clean, comfortable, nice staff. Only recommendation is they need to improve their fitness center. It has old equipment, with one of the pieces broken. No weights at all.

The inside pool was so great. The employee for that night was incredibly helpful, she made sure we were comfortable , our rooms AC was unfortunately not working so she immediately found another room for us, it was a bit dowgraded but we did not mind atall because she was so nice and helpful and provided excellent customer service.

This is the Best of the Best! Property condition is excellent. And it smells like new. Front desk and breakfast host were so nice, friendly and personable. The management is visible and very engaged. This hotel has ballrooms and meeting rooms. Full service kitchen and bar with a wide range of adult beverages.

To close to I10. Traffic noise all night. My fault for not investigating.

There was very loud crying and yellow in the room next door, so the staff was kind enough to let us move to a quiet room. They also adjusted my bill accordingly, given the discomfort and inconvenience.

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was adequate.

Everything was really good. The host changed me to a room that wasn’t so loud. Only downfall was the ice machine needs to cleaned. I’ve came out with fungus on the cubes.

Overall my stay was good. Everything was clean and comfortable. Some fixtures and some of the ceiling and trim areas were worn and dated. If your room faces the highway you’ll need some white noise to drown out the traffic sounds.

The over all stay was good but the room did have some stuff that didn’t get vacuumed. The bathroom also smelled of wet and bleach.

The hotel is very dated and smells, it’s in desperate need of renovation. The front desk staff was friendly.

Central location safe and close to shopping mall. Good breakfast with water and small store at check in or reception. The shower head was not proper and the pressure too much. With hard sea water (of sea) for shower it made our eyes red in color. Probably too much of chlorine was used. Other than that everything else was good.

Just a one-night stay. The Holiday Inn Express met our needs. Good service and nice room and bed. The hotel was immediately off a major highway and traffic noise did keep me from sleeping well. A few minor frustrations—free WiFi was very slow, TV remote didn’t work well, water pressure in the shower was not very good. The complimentary breakfast was a convenient way to start the day.

The location and rates were great. At night there was a lot of noise in the hallway which did not let me sleep all night. The shower was a little dirty, lots of rust on the soap holders whichbis more of a maitnance issue.

The hotel was very clean and everyone there was so friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Even the general manager was there during breakfast greeting everyone, smiling, and asking how we enjoyed our stay. I wish I could give them 6 stars for the comfort of the beds... they are divine!!

The sheets and pillowcases on the bed were very damp, probably due to the humidity in the room (the AC unit was old) or due to the sheets being put on while still damp from the washer/dryer. But because the bed was made up, the sheets underneath didn’t have a chance to air-dry. The area of town wasn’t TOO scary, but there are reports of vehicles being stolen there. The small parking lot isn’t gated and is very easily accessible to anyone on the access road of the highway. So we didn’t want to risk it and ended up sleeping somewhere else. Again, the staff was fantastic and friendly, so nothing is their fault! We just didn’t feel like having our newborn there was the safest/cleanest environment.

The staff is kind enough to let us swap room which is facing the highway. The non facing highway room is super quiet. Even number room is not facing highway. The breakfast has fresh fruit and yugurt. We found a dead spider hanging on the ceiling but we treat it as decoration.

The hotel is located really close to commercial center with dinning and other amenities. The didn't have water for sale.
