The room was exceptionally clean. The staff was great. Sutherland was a very good help to get us a better rate than the web sight told us. He was able to get us a better rate because of my wife’s surgery. Cannot say enough about your staff.

VERY NICE STAY, CLEAN AND...
- 3/5
Everything about the hotel was really nice except I stayed in a room that was next-door to the staff entrance. That door slammed at all hours of the day and night. It was very loud all day and sometimes in the middle of the night. That was not a restful stay.

It's a good thing the counter staff was very pleasant, the room was clean, and the hotel was near MD Anderson Cancer Center, where we had an appointment. Unfortunately, the AC unit in the room was louder than a freight train, the breakfast food was nearly inedible, and the return shuttle service back from MD Anderson required an hour-long wait — only to be finally greeted by a surly, gruff driver who had the music blaring.

Everything but the leaking shower, refrigerator that did not cool and the bed was horrible. Refrigerator not cooling, bed mattress was too soft ,after a while laying in it we sunk into it and the shower doors leaked water onto the bathroom floor even though they were closed tightly. Also, could not find an ice machine.
- 4.5/5
Friendliness of the staff and the food from the restaurant. Very large and comfortable room and the view from the 16th floor was outstanding. Larger elevators especially going to the parking garage. Almost could not fit my mobility scooter inside as the door closed on it due to no room. Finally got it positioned so the door closed but then had to struggle backing it out of the elevator. Not real handicap friendly. Also the reservation was not on the records so had to be juggled to get a room which I had already paid for that was supposed to be handicap accessible with a roll in shower, which it wasn't. Still a very nice stay for just the one night.

Our original room had a very loud air conditioner, I asked the front desk (Antonio) if we could change rooms so I could get a good night's sleep. He happily took care of us within 5min. Great staff great stay

Antonio took care took care of us as well stepped in and was able to help me secure a room for the next day again with no questions asked when I asked can I stay? I Definitely appreciate them. You have some great staff members on your team I can appreciate it. Me and my husband had stay I can’t complain 10 out of 10. And especially the bartender that was by the pool. She is also amazing a really nice person. It’s amazing how people can make impacts in your life so thanks for the amazing hard work and dedication

When we got to the property we had no idea where to park. We drove around confused and I had to be dropped off to go inside and ask. They should include pre-arrival instructions on where to park. Parking was an additional $20 which was not disclosed until we got to the property for check-in. The lady at the front checked us in and we had to take an elevator back up to the parking garage, go back down through the lobby and then go up another elevator to our room. Shlepping all our stuff was terrible especially after a long car ride. We got to our room and it was a double room instead of the king I booked. I called the front desk, no answer. We had to take all our stuff back down to the lobby and the lady argued with me that I was mistaken, I showed her my reservation and she didn’t even apologize or anything. We definitely won’t be back here. The room was hot, even with the thermostat at 68 degrees. I will not stay here again.

Convenient to medical center, free shuttle to medical center and nearby areas. Food at hotel restaurant extremely low quality.

Late night check in; early morning departure for scheduled surgery. Served all of our needs. Not able to use any of the facilities / amenities, but I’m sure they were nice.
- 4/5
The place was quite and very close to the medical facility which we were going to early in the morning.
- 4/5
Doesn't look like much from the outside and has an unnoticeable front entrance. Yet, nice interior with the standard Hilton level amenities. Cafe is a plus. Parking is $20 a night in a very tight garage in need of power-washing and cleaning. Breakfast very over priced ($4 for toast). Double suite is very spacious and clean; two large TVs for families with couches. Beds are very soft but sink to middle and need replacing. Staff friendly.
- 5/5
Great location and helpful staff. Pool was great. I would return and stay there again.
- 2/5
I do not recommend this hotel. Parking garage is very tight, even for mid size SUVs. Went to order dinner from food counter and that took over 30 minutes. Bill was $56 for two food items and one drink. While sitting in the lobby waiting for the food, the ceiling was leaking and water dripped on my slacks. Something was wrong with the elevators mechanically as well.
- 5/5
The staff took extra care of all of our needs. Will definitely be returning.
- 5/5
Clean property and welcoming staff.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, great location
- 4/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was overpriced... should be complimentary. Information about the hotel and what they had to offer should have been in a pamphlet in the room. We had to ask staff every time we had a question about anything.
- 5/5
I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had to leave one. I just went to Houston for the Dreamcon convention and the next time I come back for next year, I will be also staying at this hotel! The staff are extremely nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable! There’s also a Starbucks inside! I will be coming back to this hotel every year for future conventions or just a day trip to Houston! Highly recommend!

The hotel was older, but beautifully maintained. The staff was excellent, everyone was very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Honestly it wasn’t what I thought it would be by being located in the hospital district I thought it would of been more cleaner the bath tub was also stopped up to where things like the hair residue from prior guest began to float because the water wasn’t draining out of the tub properly we called front desk and no one showed up for hours we had brunch reservations and couldn’t make them due to us not being able to shower on time so we had to change our reservation to another location it was just not good the tissue holder was coming off the wall the floor looked as if it haven’t been mopped the outside of the bath tub had dirt all on it and the lady who checked us in was rude but I did meet a really nice lady in house keeping who tried to resolve the issues but was unsuccessful the gentleman who checked us out accommodated one day of parking for our troubles it wasn’t what I expected at all

Very Nice location and amazing staff .

The overall stay was generally okay. Upon entering the room you could notice that the room was not thoroughly cleaned from prior guest. The room was mainly booked for the pool and a large tv to unwind. Unfortunately the tv was locked and we could only watch cable. We bought a Roku which could not be hooked up due to the lock on the tv and we weren’t able to rent movies as it was a “newer tv”. Our room was on the 9th floor so it was on the same as the pool. The hotel rooms have large windows facing the pool and you would think that the staff would tell us if people would be able to see into our rooms if the curtains are open as that would be a total invasion of privacy… wrong. We didn’t find out until we went to the pool ourselves and I could see into our rooms. I find it extremely inappropriate that we weren’t notified that pool patrons would be able to see into our room so clearly! In addition the bed was chipped and I cut my leg on the edge of the old bed and the water pressure in our room was horrible. The toilet stayed clogged the whole duration of the trip as we couldn’t even flush tissue. For the price that was paid the hotel definitely needs room renovations and updates. The only positive to our stay was the pool was nice and the bed was comfortable. Also parking is $20 a day and is not validated so I hope others that stay will be away of this.

Clean room. Convenient shuttle. Good food at restaurant. Nice staff.

This is great place to stay in Medical Center. Stayed here many times when parent had procedures or visits at MDA. Rooms are great size and clean especially traveling with a lot of luggage and care supplies.
- 5/5
Super convenient to the Children’s Hospital while our son was having surgery here. We were able to just walk over.
- 4/5
The hotel was very conveniently located in the Medical District and hotel offered shuttles every 30 min to hospitals. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
It was everything I expected.. loved the room so big and clean
- 5/5
Perfect stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Definitely will go back.
- 5/5
Everything was good. Nice staff.
- 4/5
Room we stayed in for 3 nights could use some attention to the shower door which was missing the water stop on the bottom. Other than that we had a comfortable stay while in town for medical reasons.
- 3/5
Our day was just OK very disappointing for the area that this hotel is in. The AC was just ok. And found a pill on the floor took pictures but didn't report it. My husband was staying in the hospital across the street and had to get over there early that morning. Housekeeping needs to vacuum better obviously
- 3/5
The property was nice, staff was very helpful I did have roaches in my bed. The staff was quick and helpful with accommodating me for it my stay was cool, food was good.
- 5/5
Nice lobby staff breakfast are so good and the atmosphere was so cool and the bar
- 5/5
Nice lobby staff
- 5/5
Hotel is conveniently located to the medical center , museum and rice village. Staff is professional, friendly, and accommodating to guest needs. Floors/rooms appear to be recently updated. Plenty of sitting space in lobby and bright areas to work. Bar/ food service in both lobby and outdoor pool area . Market in lobby has takeout food and delicious snack and dessert choices. One minor downside is a narrow parking garage shared with another business but elevator is convienet to the lobby once you find a spot. A scannable parking pass is provided for easy in and out. Take those corners slowly and you should be fine. We will be back!
- 3/5
The hotel is dated and the rooms are not well maintained. The location is good but that’s about it.
- 5/5
Shuttle to hospitals is convenient.
- 3/5
We have stayed here many times and liked it. However this time they put us on the 17th floor when the 18th floor was under complete renovation (ripping up floors etc). I am talking jack hammers right above our heads to the point that I could not even make a phone call in my room let alone a nap!! When I complained we got moved to a suite on the 14th floor and free lunch. BUT I don't have any idea why they would put anyone on the 17th floor under jackhammers!
- 3/5
The elevators were under maintenence. Lines were 20 minutes or more to get up to our 14th floor room. Caused us to miss the shuttle and getting back to the hospital several times. My mom is 81 and it was very hard on several people.
- 5/5
Cons: No ironing board, had to iron on bed. No ice machines, had to call front desk and request ice be brought. Depending on time, it can come fast or take very long.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The staff was great, especially Francisco the bartender in the restaurant! We were also able to get early check in & late checkout. Enjoyed the pool briefly. Definitely would stay there again!
- 5/5
Amazing, comfortable, nice property, great staff and prime location. Recommend.
- 5/5
It was very clean and there was always staff cleaning throughout the day/night. The breakfast was amazing and served by amazing host/waitresses. It was raining so we really didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop pool and lounge area, but I must say it looked just like the photos. We had an amazing stay and would definitely book here again.

Good stuff
- 4/5
Great location, the bed was comfortable, and the room temp was nice and cool. Need to focus on cleaning and upkeep in the rooms/common areas. Will likely try a different hotel next time.
- 5/5
This is an excellent hotel, great staff, rooms are excellent and close to local Red line tram and eateries in the Medical Center district
- 5/5
A beautiful hotel with professional staff, 5-star service, a wonderful breakfast, and incredible, flawless cleanliness.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking about the same as at any pay lot at the airport.
- 5/5
Clean, quite and spacious.
- 2/5
My families stay was not a pleasant one. Initially we were given a room on the 12th floor. Everything appeared to be fine. However, we found out that the shower only sprayed scolding, hot water and the faucet where the coffee maker was at spewed the water in our faces. A maintenance person had to come and repair both. Then a strong paint odor inundated the hallway and our room. We were moved to the 10th floor. After moving to the second room, the refrigerator started leaking water all over the floor. A maintenance person had to bring a new refrigerator into our room. Everything seemed to be going OK until all of a sudden a strong paint odor started coming through the air conditioning unit. There was nothing they could do about that later. I found out that it is hotel policy to withdraw an additional $250 out of one’s account which will later be refunded. However, the refund takes between three and five business days. I have stayed in hotels from Maine to Miami around the gulf to Brownsville, Texas and all over the West Coast of the United States and have never had any hotel deduct $250 like this. Also, the restaurant downstairs and the small coffee stand that’s also downstairs charges ridiculous prices. A breakfast for two people was over $50 and a regular coffee was five dollars. The parking garage was a nightmare and the automated scanner did not work properly. I will never stay at a Hilton anywhere again.
- 3/5
Not good value. Rooms need an upgrade
