They currently do not have a self parking garage, so you have to basically pay for valet parking if you bring your vehicle. I paid for the valet and when I got my car back, they took my gum and left it almost near empty! Plus they left the gum wrapper in my car. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Watch out and be careful leaving things in the car.

The staff. All the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Brenda Rey on reception was awesome and helped massively. The valet staff were always courteous and willing to assist with any issue we had.

needed last minute place to stay after flight was canceled. convenient location downtown next to convention center. perfect if you have an event there. very grand hotel with starbucks at the ground floor, but it gets busy

Ac was not working for the first three hours we were there. Internet was out for the same amount of time. They were gracious about giving us a discount.

The rooms are great, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast options are varied and delicious. The only real downside is that the shower water pressure is a bit high, but I was able to adjust to it. Parking was difficult due to the garage being torn down for construction, but that’s beyond their control, so I won’t hold it against them.

The staff and room were both great I was there for an event and they made early check in super easy and checkout very quick! Room was clean and tv allowed me to play media no issue!

The moment we showed up on Thursday morning, from the valet people to the service desk along with housekeeping, they were all extremely helpful during our stay. I was in the hotel room so quickly, and then the stay was over on Sunday and was out as fast as I got in there.

The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and featured Waldorf Astoria Serta Perfect Sleeper beds that made for one of the most comfortable hotel nights I've had — plus vibrant local artist murals that gave the space real character. I sprang for an executive-level room and loved the added perks: a plush bathrobe, complimentary WiFi, and access to the R24 Rooftop Lounge, which offers stunning skyline views paired with excellent cocktails. The amenities truly set this hotel apart. The 24th-floor heated infinity-edge pool and adjoining outdoor terrace were a perfect way to unwind, and the Skyline Spa & Health Club offered a fantastic massage after a long day of meetings. The 24-hour fitness center, equipped with Peloton bikes and top-tier Precor equipment, kept my workout routine on track even while traveling. Dining options on-site were excellent and varied — from the globally inspired plates at the Lobby Bar to seasonal fare at 1600 Bar + Grille, and a full-service Starbucks for quick mornings. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and went out of their way to make sure my stay was seamless.

All the staff was very astute and knowledgeable. Everything was very clean and attractive.

The rooms were clean. There were a few things initially I didn’t like. The room smelled like smoke, like the previous guest smoked cigarettes. The view of the construction I could have done without. I would still give the hotel a great rating. My next visit I’ll ask about the view before booking. I’ll definitely bring air fresheners and lastly I would stay a few days longer. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay. I’ll be back next year. Thank you

We love Hilton-Americas. The facility is always super clean, plenty of amenities, great food and drinks options on grounds, a spa, pool, fitness center, store, and the staff is always so friendly and go above and beyond!

The parking is a shame

I just so happened to be there during the World Cup and the only negative I could say is that it was LOUD! Saudi Arabia was in town and while the singing and chanting in the lobby for their team was fun at first it just kept going on and on and on and made it extremely difficult for me to speak with the staff, hear them or have them hear me. Also, my reservation was for a standard king suite. I paid $254 plus taxes for a single night. Somehow though, when I checked in my price exploded to $666. The guy checking me in did say that was extremely high for a basic king bed room. So he was able to drop my payment to $440. But when I checked out I got my receipt and it showed I should have paid $303. I don't know how in the world this happened, no idea how to fix it because my bank processed the $440. That was the only real drawback to the stay. Frustrating to say the least and I don't know if that up charge occurred after booking the room because Houston was hosting the World Cup. I don't know, but that wasn't fun.

Great location , walking distance of so many nice spots . We were in Houston for the first time to see a World Cup game . Very close to fan festival, very clean beautiful hotel . Really like the restaurant Pappasito’s that was attached to the hotel .

The hotel is awesome, lobby is very nice, restaurant, bar, Starbucks … all are available on the property. Honestly there may have been more but I didn’t look around much. The from was great, very clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. Also, the astros stadium is only a few minutes to walk to. This hotel is neighboring the rockets stadium which is pretty cool during NBA season.

We came for the World Cup game on Sunday and we loved the location. Unfortunately we experienced some construction noise outside in the morning but thats not the reason for the 3 star review. We had breakfast Monday morning June 15th and the reason is I am writing the review for your training mostly since I am a hotel manager myself. Your breakfast staff needs a lot of training starting from the host to the server and especially the most miserable older Mexican omelette station person. We approached her and she did not even bother to acknowledge us. Instead a friendly hello or good morning she was more concerned about the cleanliness of her ingredients station. We stood there at least 1 minute while she kept on cleaning then she surprisingly continued in a very rude manner to take our order and mentioned cannot read the sign it’s written there to chose your ingredients and then bring them to me… omelets will be ready in 4 minutes come and pick up. Wow we were almost afraid of going back to such a hostile person who sadly in the end ruined the overall experience. Bell staff and front Desk were very friendly and so was the service suppport person who was the only one who really understands what service means. Hopefully you will have a chance to correct that type of service behavior to improve your service in the restaurant overall.

I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were easy to locate including a Starbucks right in the hotel. I loved that it was right next to the Toyota Centre so if you have an event there it’s 5 steps from the hotel. This hotel also has a spa with lockers and also a fully equipped gym.

Wonderful stay. It felt way too short, came just for a staycation, the location was walking distance from all popular spots. Everything Super clean, Staff super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

I everything was great, just an inconvenience that the parking garage was under construction during my stay. Also the sheets gave my daughter and I a skin reaction.

The hotel overall was okay, now there’s a few key issues with it, the AC in the room is controlled and it doesn’t go under 66 degrees which for Houston is not cold, you’ll be very hot at night, the TV volume will not go above 30 which means you can barely hear it, the bathroom door has 0 privacy, all sounds and smells will go out to the room, the pool has no supervision whatsoever and kids will make your time completely insufferable, if you are looking to enjoy the pool you need to go very early in the morning or else it will be full of kids jumping, screaming and throwing things around you!!!

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel room was excellent. We were charged twice for parking. Once as a miscellaneous debit and another as a point of sale. I called valet parking and the reservation desk. I was transferred to the financial department. I left a voicemail but no one returned my call, but one of the charges was removed.

I was not given the room type I paid for, and they didn’t put my information into their system properly so never had internet access.

With 50,000 people at the convention center next door, only 2 of the 6 west elevators were working, making every morning a frustration.

Lobby bar always good. Rooftop lounge needed more help at the bar. Price was very high in my opinion for a place that was overrun with school groups there for a competition. The attached restaurant Pappasitos was a HUGE disappointment! Overpriced-got chips but they said they were out of salsa. Staff were all busy celebrating something in kitchen so our service was horrible. Cold tortilla soup served. $50 mediocre fajitas.

Wonderful restaurants in the hotel Papadeaux was right next door Had a long day decided to uber to the game that night didn’t feel like walking. Will definitely stay again.
