Staff was exceptional but the the facility needs an upgrade. My bed was wore out (if I tried to sleep on one side it would droop to the edge), chair in the room was stained and yucky, tub floor looked dirty but maybe just scratched or broke, and ice maker was out of order but we did go down a floor to get some.

Outside and inside very clean hotel!

Close to medical center. Next door to Luby’s. The hotel is really run down. There’s always someone around the outside asking for money.

Didn’t like that you are renting a room already & have to get pay for parking…

Room was fine; however tub water was clogged when you showered and reached calf level/stain on kitchen cabinet shelf. Front desk refused to provide extra soap upon request, stating "...there was plenty" (1 face bar for 2 people). I learned that disabled/handicap guests did not have to pay for parking, however I was charged for parking in spite of going to MD Anderson all week long. This was eventually resolved after asking manager "Would you like to see written documentation regarding my health?". In spite of being a Hilton Honors member, I was refused extended checkout because I booked through a third party. I was never offered the MD Anderson reduced rate ($45 decrease per night) even when I extended my stay after discussing with front desk. Washer/dryer had an "out-of-order" sign through our departure date, and the manager defensively insisted they worked properly, in spite of the "out-of-order" sign. The manager did not apologize whatsoever for any of the issues. Only one front desk individual was extraordinarily helpful and friendly- ironically they had given a 2-week notice to leave. Shuttle service was superb. Shuttle driver "Brenda" was a daily dose of sunshine, especially needed when transported to the hospital. Daily breakfast was convenient.

No breakfast The beds were HORRIBLE. Must have been mattresses someone found on the side of the road. So small! Deep indentations, higher in the center. My husband was so uncomfortable ,he got up and tried to sleep in the ONE CHAIR in the room, but couldn’t. My husband ,my daughter, and I were there for my surgery Tuesday, so we really needed rest. Bad beds, and ONE CHAIR FOR THREE ADULTS certainly made a stressful situation worse. Staff knew we are handicapped. The shower has ONE grab bar.(Not enough) Never in my life have I seen a toilet paper roll on a moving swivel you had to wrestle with your left hand behind you while seated on the toilet. ( THE ROLL FALLS ON THE FLOOR) I still haven’t figured out the bathroom faucet (On,Off, Hot, Cold) No ventilation fan. In a bathroom. ????? There was one fourth of a roll of toilet paper when we arrived. Had to go to the front down a very long hall to get ONE roll ( they couldn’t bring it to us) Again, they knew we are handicapped. And I had asked for a room near handicapped parking. It wasn’t. I believe there were two bath towels for three adults. All things considered, it was a night we will never forget, and not in a good way. We have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kerrville, Texas many times. It has always been delightful. Hampton made what was a difficult situation already even more difficult. We didn’t stay for the second night we had paid for and drug our exhausted bodies home when we were too tired to drive safely. To think we paid for this experience!!! I’d like to hear from corporate. Arleen Eledge

There was a dog turd in our room when we checked in. The pool, one of the reasons we got this hotel, was closed for the whole 4 days we were there. The mattresses are uncomfortable and the AC units are loud. Difficult to get much sleep. Also, even though they advertise free parking on their website, if you book through a third party they will charge you an extra $12/night.
- 5/5
The rooms are nice and roomy with a kitchenette as you enter, a small living room and a bedroom. The bed was super comfortable. Most importantly, however, this hotel is only a few easy minutes from MD Anderson and it offers shuttle services if you don't want to drive there.
- 5/5
I have found my forever Hotel with Hampton suites. It was so fresh and clean and amazing after every other experience I have had. It is wonderful to finally have hotel I can be happy with ,especially when I have to rest from procedures at MD The only thing that may have made it better was limited hot water. I couldn't get hot water for my shower just warm. Otherwise the stay was fantastic.

One of my coworkers left her room in the morning with the bathroom sink completely fine. While we were away, housekeeping found the sink broken. Instead of investigating what happened, management immediately decided it was our co-worker's fault, charged her $350, police wad called, and had her removed from the hotel. What bothered me wasn’t even the money. It was the attitude. The manager never provided any evidence, never considered other possibilities, and treated the situation as if the guest was automatically guilty. The police themselves said it was a civil matter and did not determine who caused the damage. Yet the hotel still chose to force a guest out based solely on an assumption. Very disappointing experience and not what I would expect from a Hilton property.

Very nice

Not expecting having to pay for parking given the location. Staff was great. A/c unit was super loud so I struggled with sleep.
- 1/5
We checked into this hotel at 11 PM, and by midnight, the AC was blowing hot air. The room temperature skyrocketed to a suffocating 86°F. When we called the front desk, we were told no other rooms were available. By 3 AM, the heat was so unbearable and unsafe for our child that we called again just begging for a fan. A front desk staff member actually came to the room, looked at the thermostat, and verified how hot it was. She then admitted they did have an empty room next door from a no-show guest. However, after making us wait 15 minutes, she refused to move us solely because we booked through a third party (Hotels.com). Left with no air circulation and fearing a heat stroke for our child, we were forced to pack our bags in the middle of the night and sleep in our car. When Hotels.com tried to call the hotel to resolve it, the staff put the agent on hold indefinitely. To make matters worse, management only offered a insulting 50% discount for making a family sleep in their vehicle. This place has zero regard for basic hospitality, customer service, or safety. Avoid at all costs!

No complaints to share. Staff was very courteous and respectful. Breakfast was as you would expect for continental. Room was clean and price was appropriate. Shuttle to MD Anderson was punctual and efficient. Would stay at this property again if another visit is needed.
- 5/5
Clean and good breakfast
- 3/5
We weren't real pleased with the slow responses to our calls for shuttle pick-ups, one day it took two phone calls and 30 minutes for the shuttle to come. As cancer patients, we are very tired after our appointments and waiting so long outside in the heat is hard. This was the 3rd Hampton Inn we stayed at over the past month, and our least favorite.
- 4/5
Bed was kind of too firm. Lots of good pillows. Breakfast was good. Overall very good

The location was great. The hot water was not as hot as we would like. Was not aware the room was only cleaned on request. Was out all day and came “home” to an uncleaned room. They did offer to clean the room but it was late and we were tired and needed some rest. They did bring us some towels.
