Hampton Inn Houston I-10W Energy Corridor

So, I have stayed here a couple times and each time the elevator has been down. The staff is great and they do everything they can to make it better by offering to help, keeping you on the low floors, etc, but an elevator is a pretty key thing to keep in working order. Beyond that, it is just your typical Hampton Inn. Not great, not bad, just fine. Price is competitive and they do have an okay breakfast if you are trying to save a few bucks.

The staff made our stay fun and welcoming! Delia checked us in just before 10pm and she was chipper and very welcoming! We laughed and chatted and made our long traveled evening end on a fun note. The manager in the morning was also ver my kind and smiley. He offered us waters and snacks in the way out. This place knows how to be wonderful hosts. If ai come back to Houston, they will have my business!

Front Desk person took time to look up information on restaurant possibilities for us. Breakfast was more than expected. Room & amenities were beyond our expectations.

Clean room, variety of breakfast options, nice shower, air conditioning was nice and cold, lovely area for walking near the hotel, highly recommend it

Hall And elevator were entirely too hot

Staff was very nice. Only issue was the elevator was out but that was a mild inconvenience and fixed before I left. Rooms are very nice inside. I’d stay here again for sure

decent hotel and I was a repeat customer since our first stay was fine. Breakfast was fantastic!! Room was poorly maintained. Bath exhaust fan broken, shower head broken, it would not adjust to different modes, TV remote barely worked.......I finally hooked up my Roku to avoid the tv broken remote. AC in hotel was broken. No place in bathroom to hang up anything!! No freezer section in frig. time not correct on microwave. We informed the manager in the morning and he offered no help. He frankly did not care. The Hilton advertises as a first rate hotel but it cannot even meet Hotel 6 quality levels!! I expected to be offered a discount off our rate but that did not happen. Hotel morning manager could care less. Will not stay here again!!!!

The hotel bed did NOT sleep very well at all. It was very hard

The room was very nice and the front desk staff were helpful. My only discrepancy is the water was not hot at all. It definitely put a damper on my stay but other than that, things were fine.

breakfast was really good. also, they put the bathroom towels on shelves above the counter and not directly over the commode like most hotels do. there was only a shower, no tub. staff was super nice. good location. good lighting in the room as well as plenty of places to charge your phone and other devices.

The breakfast was great. Plenty of everything and a delicious variety. Fresh, sweet and/or savory…it’s all there.

We stayed 2 nights but had to change rooms due to an event next door. Should be compensated for disruption

The room was incredibly musty smelling, causing all of my clothes and belongings to smell musty. The bed was incredibly hard. The staff were really nice though.

For the price, and compared to other near-by properties, I would have expected a little nicer facility. The room was clean, bed comfortable, quiet hvac. Doors to rooms make a lot of noise, so neighbor can disturb you. It’s location to Memorial medical is very convenient.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. When I experienced a glitch with my third-party billing they dealt with it immediately. A nice hotel, in a good location.

Breakfast did not changed throughout my stay 6 days had the same. There should be a little more variety. Parking was fine! Just housekeeping was not at all done well and house keeper not making effort to clean well, stocking up with clean-x toilet paper and wash cloths

We have stayed here numerous times. While staff attentiveness was pleasant, the cleanliness of the hotel has gone down tremendously. We will look elsewhere next time.

I do have to say the front desk did offer for me to change rooms but I did’nt want to bother since I was only there for 2 days.

The stay was just okay. It wasn't dirty, no roaches. Breakfast was just the usual. Pre cooked eggs, links and waffles that you make on your own. If you are looking for luxury or comfort then this is not the one. I was celebrating a birthday and I wish I would have just went a step beyond. Staff was nice.

Stayed three nights and never cleaned my room, toilet and bathroom door both broken. Reported same to front desk and were never addressed.

Did not service room. Room not maintained. Bathroom door broken, entry door doesn't latch, elevator broken, staff indifferent to guest needs.

Parking was easy, the staff were all nice and helpful. Very welcoming. Pool was clean and calm. Really enjoyed staying here with my kids.

Day staff was asleep at the front desk. No clean towels were delivered to the room. For the price not impressed.

I have stayed here a number of times. They have all been good. My one complaint this time was the elevator was out from Saturday morning until I left on Sunday. There is a second elevator, but I never saw that one working. I talked to someone who stayed there recently and they said the elevators were not working then. At least it was working when I took my bags upstairs. You need working elevators if you're a multi story hotel. Everything else was good.

Other than having to change rooms from the 4th to 1st floor because the elevators were not working the stay was seamless. They informed me before we arrived and the 1st floor worked out perfectly, so no problem at check in.the free breakfast was good and the pool was clean and refreshing not to mention we had it to ourselves both days.

Good location for a short stay with variety of restaurants and shops.

This hotel is well located and well-priced for its location. It's nothing fancy but gets the job done. When we were there the elevator was broken for a couple days but they called us ahead of time and asked if we wanted to continue with our reservation and, if not, they were willing to cancel our reservation free of charge, so great customer service. They also put us one the second floor so it wasn't much of hike up the stairs. The rooms are in decent shape and clean and its very well located near the energy corridor. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This was the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I stayed here, and the elevator was broken AGAIN. I have back and neck problems that make stairs difficult for me, and I'm very hesitant now to return again knowing that it's not a priority to management to keep the elevators up and running. Besides this, my only complaints are that the light next to the bed did not work, and the shower pressure was extremely low.

Well worn property, nothing outstanding. Decent enough. Pretty sloppy breakfast with inconsistent attendant attention.

It was fine but the bed was too hard and the pillows were really soft and mushy. Even with two pillows my head would sink almost to the mattress. Other than that, the stay was fine.

It is convenient to where we are going tomorrow. The downside is the bed is very hard. I prefer soft.

Our stay was wonderful from the welcoming staff at the front desk (Geo) to the clean, spacious homey room we stayed in. This is the nicest place we have stayed at in this area and it will be our Houston go to place! Love the fresh scent as we walked in to the hotel and the cleanliness of everything! Breakfast was also very good! Highly recommend!

The property was well kept. It was easy to find. Area around the hotel was okay but it was off the highway and easy to get to.

The young lady that was working (I wish I could recall her name) was an absolute joy, which was refreshing. The room is nice and clean, quiet and there's several restaurants close. I will most certainly be staying there again.

The staff and facilities were ok, breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed the pool. The only negative, and this will likely keep us from staying here when we're in Houston again in 3 months, is a musty room - reminded us of an old cabin on the beach. I don't have allergies as a rule, but my and my wife's sinuses did not enjoy the mustiness.

Erin, check in staff was outstanding. Hotel very clean and neat. The only item,,,, the only item was that the hot water was only luke warm.

I mentioned that I like every thing except a dampen smell. Tammi immediately ask if I want another room and found me another better room. I was amazed with the quick service even though they were busy with guests at the front desk.

The exit route to the hotel was inconvenient because it required an immediate turn over the hotel onto a road with a lot of traffic. It was challenging to navigate through the incoming cars and make a safe exit from the highway, especially for an inexperienced out-of-town driver.
