Reviews
The hotel has a nice lobby and friendly staff, but there are significant safety concerns and cleanliness issues. Many guests reported problems with the amenities, such as the pool, parking, and room service.
- Friendly staff
- Nice lobby
- Safety concerns, such as an 8-year-old girl drowning in the pool
- Cleanliness issues, such as dirty rooms and hairs in the sink

Wow. The hotel is so beautiful. Honestly the stay is everything you need. It’s all in one. The pool the bar the restaurant. It’s like a resort. I really enjoyed myself.
- 4/5
The pool was my favorite. Plunge pool and lazy river!!
- 5/5
Everything was very good just think they need a microwave in the room
- 5/5
:)
- 2/5
Had a hard time checking in. The pool area made no sense and it lacked a lot of lighting.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed this hotel! It is now one of our favorites of the area. Pool time and the cabana area was a plus.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
Had a great stay and loved the pool it was great will definitely go back again!!
- 3/5
There were no complaints as far as cleanliness. It was disappointing to pay another $10 for parking in a parking lot you just drive in, no gate or guard. The other sad thing was '"Stuart Little" came out to much on my empty chip bag by pulling it out the trash to behind the desk. Otherwise I think if I had to drive through Houston again, it was affordable for the night. Didn't get to try out the pool but it looked really amazing.

Monica was great.

- 5/5

- 2/5

- 5/5
Great hotel stayed with great pool
- 3/5
The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The room started out very warm, but finally cooled off. Over all the stay was nice and quiet. Very clean!
- 5/5
love this place i will be back again room very nice
- 3/5
The room was nice but the location was far from the elevator, so lots of walking. Hotels across the board are charging for parking when it should be free to guests.
- 5/5
The bed were very comfortable, the lazy river was my favorite part. Very nice hotel , friendly staff , super close to plenty of restaurants and shopping
- 4/5
I didn't use the pool or gym though they looked inviting because of my concern over certain shared public spaces where the volume of oils and fluids from people's bodies can build up invisibly. Shout out to Alexis the concierge who was friendly, courteous and professional. And though I didn't get her name, the blond older lady bartender was nice. Now to the food options. Unless you just enjoy throwing away money, I recommend eating at one of the many restaurants that are a literal five minute drive away. And skip breakfast altogether. The limited menu from the on site restaurant has laughable prices, and that's the only meal it serves, being closed the rest of the day. My room on the ninth of ten floors in the main tower was clean, big, and quiet. The TV remote had Netflix and Prime buttons but those services weren't available. No big deal because I was looking to sleep for most of my two nights. The thermostat worked well to control the room temperature, and hot water came out of the shower and sink immediately. I read mixed reviews after prepaying and got nervous. I think it depends on when you go. The place clearly survives off of booking private events more than locals. If I wasn't leaving Houston, would stay there again. Oh, and expect to pay for parking.

The pool was nice
- 5/5
Pool is amazing, they have restaurant and bar, plus restaurants in walking distance. Very beautiful hotel
- 3/5
Didn't make it to the pool but it looked nice the staff was nice and helpful
- 5/5
Everything was on top and worth it
- 5/5
No happy hour at the bar I don’t like the fact you pay for parking
- 5/5
The hotel overall was great! A few minor details in the hotel renovation process - it is evident that rooms are a combo of old/new. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel to experience the amenities. Only thing I would like to mention is that I am not accustomed to pay a fee for parking.
- 5/5
Amazing room, clean, outdoor lazy river perfect. Great ambience, serene is beautiful and amazing staff
- 5/5
Dated property and great staff who are friendly and helpful. Clientele is rough...lots of noise even at night upto midnight. Room walls thin. Did not eat here . Also extra for parking which I think is just a scheme to make 10 more dollars a day.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 4/5
Room could have been cleaned better. There was food stuck to the the desk and mucus caked to the wall in the bathroom. The air conditioner didn’t keep up with the temperature and the hall way was very warm. Overall I had a good stay. The hotel is nice. The pool area was excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful.
- 5/5
It was an overall good experience.
- 5/5
Very nice and staff and managements made it great. I came late a day after flight cancelled and they managed extended stay at no charge. Ended up booking an extra 3 days. Ask them if anything is an issue and they will fix it.
- 5/5
Love the property! Beautiful pool and dining area. I will definitely be staying there again.
- 3/5
Its an old building and outdated.
- 3/5
(RE: 1 night stay), basically, it was okay, and I would stay again (understanding what I was getting. Staff was attentive/helpful and lobby area was beautiful, however for me it was a situation in which the photos online didn't match what was there when we got there. There were multiple scuffs, scratches etc, on the walls in the room, a crack in the shower wall, the towel hook in the bathroom was broken... everything seemed dated. When I booked on Expedia the listing said "private bedroom", however, I was given a studio type room, no big deal, but don't advertise as one thing, and then the room is another. The television would get stuck if we attempted to utilize the guide, and we would have to power the TV off, and on to see a picture. (my fear was being blamed for issues that were already there.) We rode on the elevator with another guest, who advised that they had found a roach in their room. We didn't utilize the hotels amenities (I.e. pool area, gym, etc.) but judging by how dated the rooms, hallways, carpets were, I'm assuming they were not as "glam" as the listing suggested. All in all, the location seemed safe, there were several restaurants, stores etc. nearby, including restaurants on the property. Again, the staff was accommodating, so for a short stay, it is acceptable. and the pics would make you feel you are getting a great deal, but post the stay/experience, I would judge it as just okay.. just understand what you will get and manage expectations
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my time there, will be making this my yearly place of stay. I did have an issue with the pool, it was a bit dirty to my liking, wished it were maintained it a little better. Other than that i did enjoy my stay here

Front desk clerk never told me half of the hotel was under construction and that our room was in an entirely different building. Thinking it was in the main hotel my family and I waited for an elevator (in front of the front desk staff) and proceeded to the floor we thought our room was, got off the elevator and the entire floor was under construction with no ac. Hotel was super busy and I walked down the stairs to ask the front desk where the room was, my wife waited with all of our things and my kids for an elevator, they were told 3 separate times that there was no room on the elevator. Sweaty and angry they finally made their way downstairs, outside the hotel where (carrying all of our things) the valets giggled at them and the front desk acted as if they couldn't help her. I made my way back to them, got them upstairs finally and the toilet is clogged. I told the front desk guy, he said he would send someone up. Guy shows up and tells my wife not to use so much toilet paper. We ask for another room because apparently they don't have a single plunger. We move rooms and there is no refrigerator or microwave and the AC is cooling very little. It stayed at 76 degrees the entire night even after they brought us an industrial fan. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever and definitely not for the price. We could have stayed at the four points by Sheraton for the same price. We asked for more towels in the morning so everyone could shower, they showed up after done.
- 5/5
Very well mannered workers with common courtesy very polite with patients, keep up the great work no changes needed
- 5/5
Really loved the pool!
- 5/5
Everything the price at the last minute also the cleanliness
- 3/5
The lazy river was the best part of this hotel Compared to the photos this hotel is run down. Doesn’t look like they take much care in upkeep. The pool area itself looks as if it hasn’t been touched in years. Rooms look updated but they were not very clean when you looked close. Shower was clean but the drain catch was filled with hair upon arrival.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel. Good amenities. If breakfast was complimentary this would be a 5-star easily! Will definitely book again.
- 5/5
Everything was great. The room was clean. The food was all right, but the service of the staff were very kind.
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Beautiful Place
- 5/5
Overall great experience, will definitely be going back!!
- 5/5
A beautiful clean quiet place to stay at
- 2/5
Pool was way too small.
- 4.5/5
Want to see rooms higher up but pool view is fine. Oversized rooms on ends I guess. Moved rooms to a middle room and it was half the size same price :( No kitchen , well the have a buffet and 5-10 bar menu . But no upscale room service. This was a big let down .
- 5/5
Hotel amenities were very nice and luxurious but the rooms were at best a 7 out of 10 they were clean for the most part just wasn’t what you would expect after the presentation of the lobby the pool was nice it needed cleaning though .overall a great stay we would most definitely stay again the price is 1 of the best you can find that still delivers luxurious amenities.
- 2/5
Cheap owners-No waste basket (only in the bathroom), microwave, or fridge in the room. Long wait for elevator. Definitely not worth $178/night.
- 4.5/5
Large parking lot, easy access to nearby restaurants, and clean rooms.
- 5/5
The esthetic was nice All of the upfront payments. Booking charged me $126 , got there had to pay the full $253 and a $35 deposit so I spent $414 for just two nights plus parking an extra $20. Breakfast is $14. Every time you want breakfast.
- 3/5
Good bar. Pool and room not too clean.
- 5/5
Todo muy lindo gracias por proporcionarme una linda estancia hasta pronto
- 2/5
It was Very ghetto lazy river but no tubes.....
- 2/5
A LOT OF CONSTRUCTION!! Getting off of the one elevator that worked that didn’t have AC btw..was like walking into a workshop. Paint brushes & paint cans, ladders..Construction noises. I def would’ve stayed somewhere else if I knew all that was going on
- 5/5
More floats available for the lazy river.

Everything Nothing

After booking a different hotel in Houston and finding it not so safe for our girls trip we were so relieved and happy to find the grand Tuscany hotel! This hotel is beautiful well maintained property . You are able to see the renovations are on going but the gorgeous interior of the lobby is un matched! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with great places to eat too! We also had our service dog with us and they made sure that she was comfortable! The breakfast smoothies especially the mango one is jammed packed with fruit and delicious. We also loveeee the French toast with breakfast! We will definitely be staying here again!
- 3.5/5
It was a a nice environment and cute look. One of the elevators were down and the small mirror light in our room bathroom was not working.
- 3.5/5
Very nice decor and scenery of the hotel, nice pool area, okay breakfast, room was okay bed nice and firm. Elevator took forever to come, business meetings going on at the time of stay so was crowded getting in and out of the hotel moving around the lobby. No fridge in the room or microwave
- 3/5
Room wasn’t as clean as expected and also seen a roach.
- 4/5
The place was nice. I was pleased when we asked for another room as they had given up an adjoining room. From previous experience years ago, I did not want to go through that again. So we were given another room. All was well with our stay.
- 1/5
When we arrived, we found blood on one of the beds. My husband had to go downstairs in person to report it because the phone in our room did not work. While the staff did provide replacement bedding, it was simply handed to us at the door with no apology or assistance in changing the linens. The ice machine on our floor was also out of service. Our room was extremely hot, and it took over 12 hours for the temperature to drop just 2 degrees, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably. The pool area was disappointing as well. There were no towels available, and the pool appeared dirty. The TV in our room constantly lagged, and the audio and video were out of sync, making it frustrating to watch. The biggest issue was the lack of hot water. The shower never got warm, and my daughter had to take a cold shower. Overall, the combination of cleanliness concerns, maintenance issues, and poor service significantly impacted our stay. We expected a much better experience and hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
- 0.5/5
Omg the.pool looks dirty and the room was full of bugs and gnats...
- 1/5
Room was very dirty, a lot of patch work done in the room and looks and feels unfinished l, dirty, and tacky. You can easily tell they put all the money into the lobby and pool area instead of fixing up their rooms properly and professionally. Rooms are very overpriced for what you get, and they still charge you for parking and breakfast. Never staying there again id rather give my money to a major chain hotel and get what I paid for with free parking and breakfast.
- 4/5
The hotel has some beautiful features, especially the pool and the lobby, which both looked very nice and inviting. However, the room itself did not meet the same standard. I would rate the room cleanliness 3 stars. The bathroom mirror lights did not work, which made the room feel cheap and poorly maintained. The furniture also looked old and damaged, and there were not enough towels provided in the room. Another downside is that parking costs $10 per day, and there is no free breakfast included. Overall, the hotel has potential because of the beautiful lobby and pool area, but the rooms need updating and better attention to detail.
- 5/5
Excellent, great hotel with great amenities

Huge, quiet, clean! It was a lovely stay The parking situation is a little confusing. There’s a place to pay per day but it is unattended. My 3rd night some random person was standing there to take my payment. Felt off so I went I. And asked and that person didn’t work there. The real staff was so nice about it. Otherwise - no issues at all!!

What a wonderfully property with just what I needed. The lighting really sets to tone for a peaceful mind easing experience as you float around the lazy river or enjoy dinner and a drink at the bar. In house breakfast and a gym.
- 3/5
Far away from main city.
- 5/5
Room was a little dusty
- 3/5
The property was fine. The staff was ok. However, we chked in specifically to use the facilities, the pool, to be exact, and to our dismay, it was closed for maintenance for the entirety of our stay.
