Breakfast is a separate charge per person. We didn’t use it but staff was awesome. Check in and out was easy.

The only problem we had is the hotel and a bad mold smell. In the hallway only the carpet looked new so not sure why the odor.

The doors in the front need to be completely repaired

I received 2 rooms that were still ring worked on. Maintenance equipment, dirt everywhere and no TV.

Nothing Basic, poor breakfast, bed was uncomfortable and they are short in staff. Room wasn’t cleaned the second night and didn’t have fresh towels until the next morning at 10am.

Complained to manager about shower leaking onto grid making annoying noise all night … basically no sleep … was to maintaince were going to come and fix .. two days later still leaking and noise was gradually getting worse … also the chef sacked so no food at the restaurant … would expect more from a well established hotel chain

It smelled like mildew, to be fair I’m very sensitive to smell. And my room and dozens of tiny little black ants crawling around the bathroom and side table nearest the bed. It was pretty vacant during my stay which felt weird.

Lack of help at the front desk. We were switched to (3) different rooms because of the following reasons: Wrong bed type- given two queen beds instead of a King that was purchased. No cable - but was then told that they do not have cable.

Rooms were old and dingy and the elevator was out. Would not stay here again.

Room , bedding had mold , tv didn’t work, coffe pot missing , phone didn’t work pool didn’t work had to switch rooms I need them to clean better the staff was nice but they need improvements

Hotel bar not open on Saturdays. No hot water at all during our stay. Nighttime front desk clerk did not speak any English. Was offered 2 free breakfasts for inconvenience of not being able to take a hot shower

Booked our stay here because they advertised a pool. Just to get there and be told the pool was closed “for cleaning to get it ready for the season”. To me this didn’t mas sense because it’s Texas… but anyways. The rooms smelled like mildew, they had a very strong smell of it. The blankets were like covering yourself up with a rain coat due to the plastic texture. The towels (even the blanket) had stains on them and I found hairs stuck to the rags even though they were brought in “clean”. The shower curtain had mildew at the bottom of it. There was a dog barking majority of the night across the hall from us. Overall very disappointed for the amount of money that was spent to stay here.

Staff were extremely helpful and nice. The hotel was in great condition.

It says daily housekeeping but apparently it needs to be requested which wasn’t communicated. When it did get “cleaned” the bed was simply made, trash at the front door remained, nothing was wiped down, nothing swept or vacuumed.

I enjoyed my stay, only thing is the pool was closed and the Bar is not available on weekends and some week days… that’s kinda pointless lol

The bedding and sheets seemed as if they’ve been there for a while, it was worn out in the shape of a body (the sheets) and just seemed stale and worn. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I asked for fresh sheets and was given some on request, but I had to pick them up from the desk and put them on myself, which isn’t a huge deal but I had just worked 12 hours straight and that was the last thing I wanted to do when I got back to the hotel. The receptionist said the staff had left for the day, which is understandable. But other than that the staff was great.

We stayed from July 20-25. Sunday was fine, Monday morning we woke up and was locked INSIDE of our hotel room and they had to come get us out and change rooms. Monday night we go to take baths tub not draining. On Tuesday they changed us once again because of the tub. Tuesday night the air didn’t work. So they changed us once again on Wednesday. Everything was fine after that. Don’t get me wrong staff was friendly and accommodating. They just need to upgrade their rooms at this point.

Check in went smoothly, very nice front desk service! Great place to stay, reasonable pricing and for some reason was almost completely empty. We were one of 2 rooms on the floor on a Friday night. They had great community lounge areas to hang out. Breakfast was what you would expect for being included. The only time we had a bit of a snafu was when we had a 1 pm late checkout and housekeeping knocked on the door twice within 1 minute around noon asking if we were extending our stay or were going to leave. Communication would have been nice amongst the staff. I would definitely stay again.

Everyone was friendly, the esthetic was gorgeous. Had a weird smell, but overall satisfactory.

"She's coming up right now." Still, nothing. After another 25 minutes, I called a third time, and was told, "Omg I'm so sorry, just hang tight, we'll assign you to a new room." No one ever came to look at the issue or speak to us directly. We were simply told that we would be called when the new room was ready - and we would need to go back to the front desk for new keys. In the second room, things didn't improve. Within 30 minutes, the power in the bathroom went out completely. The shower and fridge had visible mold, and it was clear the room hadn't been properly maintained. The front desk staff didn't seem to care much and didn't offer any real assistance. One person was seated the entire time we passed through the lobby. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We were left to handle issues on our own, and the staff's lack of urgency or basic hospitality made it even worse. I would not recommend staying here.

The only complaint is the bar/restaurant close extremely early.

Next morning I go to have breakfast and the only people there were me and the attendant who was intently watching Youtube videos by the bar (I couldn't help but hear them.) I almost sat in a sticky chair that someone had clearly spilled a drink in and onto the floor below. I left the chair to the side of the table to signal "hey - this is a mess." After breakfast, I walked up to the desk to share my concerns as I was leaving and noticed that the chair that I was pointing out was pushed back in and nothing had been cleaned up. This just signals to me a lack of supervision and focus on details. I didn't realize this hotel was part of the Marriott chain but it certainly isn't part of the standards I was taught by Marriott early in my career. Just disappointing - I actually like the hotel.

I stayed here for the Houston Rodeo. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely with Western decor. I enjoyed my stay!

The bar and restaurant was closed due to short of staff . The breakfast was for 10 dollars per day per adult it was horrible, you better of going out for breakfast. There was water bugs in hallway . There was an odor in the hallway and elevator.

The only thing to keep in mind is that having a car is quite necessary to get around, as public transportation options in the area are limited. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!

Easy parking and close to the highway and beltway. Local restaurants a few minutes away.

The hotel was good, but the only thing I was not happy about was the latch on the door was broken and the shower would not stay closed! Other than that it was good! I would stay there again!

Pretty good stay for a pretty good price

I have to be honest there was a very musty mold smell in the second floor hallway which is where our room was. And felt a little uneasy with a police car sitting in the parking lot one night into the morning!

Housekeeping does not play attention to cleaning. We had to repeat for them to sweep because they had not done so the day before. Since our last stay in November it has changed a lot, not sure if it’s new owners or what happened.

The property was in a convenient location. The Property was also well kept. Staff was very nice. The parking lot wasn't safe someone vehicle got broken into. The had a small fire in the kitchen on our last day of our stay. We woke up to a fire alarm going off and someone over yhe speakers asking us to evacuate the building around 6am. Imagining waking up to something frightening and trying to scramble for clothes and your valuables just in case the fire seriousl.

Stay away from this place! Get out of the area. My truck was broken into over night. When the officers asked to see hotel video footage they claimed there was a glitch in the security system that night and there were no recordings. The hotels no help in a robbery situation.

The property was very clean and the staff are very friendly. I didn't like that there was a $10.00 charge per person for breakfast. That should be complimentary yet it was a McDonald's within walking distance. As much as we love the pets WE did not enjoy the barking dog next door. The pets should be designated to only 2 of the 5 floors.so that others are not infringed upon. The staff did say they are tring to work on the pet situation

Hello. I really enjoyed my stay here, however I didn’t like being given the handicapped room as I’m not handicapped and was told it was the only room available, which I didn’t believe! I didn’t like the shower for that reason, plus the hostess put me on the first floor. When I asked to move up, again I was told only room available. I’d rather a junior suite over a handicap room, if I have to be inconvenienced, let it be at your cost and not mine. You guys lost points, but the Buffett breakfast was a slight redemption but not much.

No milk available in breakfast. I had my 2 year old child with me. Even though we paid for breakfast we weren’t able to get any breakfast. No coffee in breakfast area. If you are gonna charge for breakfast at least provide better service. When I asked front desk if there is milk she just like oh we didn’t had delivery today. Just like she didn’t care. Not staying at this hotel in future. Terrible service. Spent $110 for a night stay and it’s not even worth a dime.

There was nothing to like. This was the worst Four Points ever. Water in shower stopped working. Management was like...."what dobyou want me to do". We offered to give you another room, which was handicapped, weird shower set up, terrible smell, loud a/c, elevators dirty, with sticky substance that was spilled, trash. Expired milk at breakfast. Bar never open, bathroom door would not close. Never again.
