The room that we stayed have a broken ac. they said they are fully booked, we just asked for a fan because we cant move to other hotel coz its 2am already. the hotel lobby said smoke free but it smells weeds inside the building. bery disappointed with this stay. hope i can refund my money

The staff was fantastic but the property was not good. We ran into roaches in the bathroom and the sink did not work in the kitchen. Ira was a great bang for your buck if you can look past things.

Can't complain about the price but the place was rough lol. The breakfast was just snacks laid out and the pool was closed but all I wanted was a place to sleep so it met that. The lobby reeked of Marijuana but not the rooms.

We were in town for the world baseball classic and for the Houston livestock show rodeo. To our surprise when we arrived at the hotel, they said that what we had booked was not available. They mentioned that this app seems to do this quite often where they allow bookings of rooms with two beds when there are none available. The woman at the counter did offer to provide blowup mattresses. We declined because we didn’t not want to sleep on the floor and the hotel grounds were pretty sketchy. It did take us a while to find a different hotel that wasn’t booked due to the events happening in the city. Do not stay here if you don’t want to arrive and have nowhere to stay.

I booked a room at and paid all the cost. Came to check in they said the hotel fully book. I already paid for the room and they let other person used that room.

I hardly ever give any reviews but this time im going to give my review on this jotel chain so initially i book my stay at the 2425 W Sam Houston Prkwy. I book there for the convenience but its been twice they send me to the other location on 3200 Westheimer Rd. Its not much of a difference but this was the second time I dont know if it because we are a damily of 5 and maybe they dont want children. Also their elecator wasnt working having an infant can be difficult to get around. But other than that my stay was decent. Could have been better.

I originally booked the location at Westchase, but they didn't have a room when i arrived and sent me to their "sister property" on Richmond. This location didn't have breakfast as advertised on the listing. There was a roach in the sink and one on the floor. The room was in terrible condition. There were holes and improperly repaired drywall holes in the wall. The bathroom sink faucet was corroded. There wasn't an ice machine available.

No breakfast as advertised

I am beyond frustrated with my recent experience at this hotel. I booked a deluxe studio at the Extended Stay America Suites, but upon arrival, I was told that my room wasn’t available and was moved to a different location just a few minutes down the road. What followed was one of the most disgusting and unsafe hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room was in appalling condition: Roaches on the bed and in the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable. Stained carpets that made it clear the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. Multiple non-functional lights made the room feel even more uncomfortable. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, and the shower was leaking, causing water damage and making the room even more unsanitary and unsafe. I immediately asked the front desk for a refund or to be moved to another room, but they refused, stating they couldn’t do anything due to policies set by Expedia. After contacting Expedia, I was told the hotel wasn’t willing to make any exceptions, despite the disgusting state of the room. This is not just about a bad stay, it’s about a lack of professionalism and care for the safety and comfort of guests. I never even stayed in the room because it was uninhabitable, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m still requesting for a refund, but it’s clear that this hotel doesn’t take customer satisfaction seriously. Avoid this place at all costs.

The place smelled horrible. We Couldn’t stand it. We almost threw up. We didn’t even stay there for five minutes. And the pictures posted look nice, nothing compared to the actual room we got. Do not recommend

Advertised serving breakfast but is not true. Only coffee and tea. Toilet seat, broken So hair dryer. Closet door broken. I’ll be in rooms smell very bad.

The minute we got there, we were killing roaches. They were everywhere! Our room also smelled terrible when we walked in. If i hadnt had to stay at that hotel due to the reason i went to texas, i would have left.

I was very impressed with the quality of your building and staff.

I have spinal stenosis, and need a knee replacement. My partner had to navigate four flights of stairs to carry our belongings a few items at a time. She's small. I noticed that certain doors leading into the building were blocked open with a rock so that people staying on that end of the building could enter and exit. Since there was no working elevator, there was no need to traverse such a long distance to exit and enter by the secure entrance and exit of the check out desk. Not a very safe building! God forbid any kind of emergency takes place. I will be seeking a return of some, if not all of my money.

I asked for a smoke free room, and this one is not!! The elevator was not working and my room is on the 4th floor! Big room and small tv, and the springs on the bed is horrible like a jail cell and the sheets and entire room smells like smoke! I need a refund as I am trying to make the best of it!

The stay was horrible. We had reservations for 3 adults there was no mattress on the sofa couch so 3 adults had to squeeze in one bed and the receptionist was no help and had no solution. We wve had to go buy our own cover and roaces was everywhere. I will not be recommending this place. I will be contacting corporate. Plus the website doesn't let you upload your pictures.

Full of cockroachs, not clean, bad smell, unprofessional staff.

Unfortunately, my expectation of this Suite was not met. In my room there were three bulbs missing from three lamps, so lighting was limited. Also, there were roaches in the room which really disgusted me. The elevator smelled like smoke and there were some interesting characters in and about the property while I was there. Also, loud music was playing at times down the hallway from a guest room, kids crying, and someone was setting off fireworks outside which sounded like gunshots. I never spent a single night at the hotel that I paid for; my trip was from Feb 17th - 19th. I never stayed the first night and actually checked out on the 18th, a day early. I just felt too uncomfortable, I should have read the reviews from previous guest, so that was my fault. I really was expecting something different based on the photos, but I got everything I did not want. Sorry Extended Stay, but this was disappointing.

The tub was stopped up upon arrival. They claimed no maintenance worked on the weekend; suggested I use Draino - no other rooms available. Very poor service, rude desk worker.

We had two rooms in one of the room we had roaches in our bed crawling around also the bed sheets had a weird smell like they weren’t wash correctly.

It was very very filthy. Roaches everywhere. And i mean i kill 10-15 a day roaches a day and im out most of the day. I also reported a broken phone the first 5 mins i was there and they said they would fix it. Until I left a week later it never got fixed. I would have left that first day, but I paid and there was no refund. I moved over to the Fairfield next door and spent the rest of my stay there. Much better, cleaner, No Roaches and free breakfast.

I love Extended stays but this time it was horrible..I had 2 rooms and the one I was in was infested with roaches and the dish washer was nasty inside...had to leave and demanded my money back..beware of room 420 or the 4th floor Period!!

This was probably the worst hotel location I have visited ever. Future travelers should avoid this location and this chain entirely. DO NOT book at this hotel.

Noise/party upstairs all night long. Called front desk 5 times. Couldn't reach anyone. When I finally went to the lobby to speak with someone at 4AM they did nothing to resolve the issue. Horrible service.

I can't rate anything besides the staff that gave my room away, & the exterior and lobby because we couldn't stay there.

There was a rough crowd, bugs in the room, bugs on a pillow. He left and got a room at a different hotel.

The hotel staff were nice and the rooms were decent but the bathroom sink drained really slowly and no water pressure in shower. Ok for a one or two night stay if on budget.

The room is dirty with roches

Very dirty, the key doors never worked and some of the staff was very rude. After two nights we finally got some clean linens and extra pillows for the pull out sofa. There was no towels in the bathroom, we found them wet,smelly, and dirty in the closet. The floors were so sticky and filthy, my white socks went in the trash after that.

The room we reserved wasn't available when we checked in. There were no smoking signs everywhere but it smelled like cigarettes and weed all over the place. They were doing renovations while we were there so it was messy. The pool and fitness center were closed and there was no free breakfast even though the hotel advertises one

By far the worst experience in a hotel in my life. The rooms are infested with roaches. I was changed my room at midnight. I woke up with a roach on my ear. I told the staff at check out, not even an apology was given.

I would not recommend anyone stay in this hotel. This was my first and will be my last time staying with Extended Stay of American. I booked 3 nights there, but I couldn’t even stay 1 night. No one could sleep because the room is so stinky. I moved out the next morning and forfeited my stay.

I will never stay here again. The one very small elevator for 4 floors was DIRTY & very slow. Our room had Roaches in the bathroom, kitchen & in the bedroom. We left early.

The room was spacious. I didn't like the lack of cleanliness. Chips on the floor, condoms, baby diapers, and stains on carpet. The stairwell was dirty. I would rather spend money elsewhere that was more clean

Checking in was a breeze and the staff were attentive and friendly however there is a serious roach infestation there and that grossed us out. I'm taking into account that people live here and that's reason pest control should be taken more seriously. For this reason I will not stay here again. I have video and pictures of the roaches.

They had roaches in the bathroom and ants in the bed.. other guest was loud in the room above us we heard feet stomping and jumping At 1 in the morning it woke my new born up they should use some type of insect spray everytime we cut on a light we killed a roach .. sugar ants was in the bed also

Chose a non-smoking room. The smell of smoke penetrated even our luggage for the 2 nights we were there. Elevator smelled like smoke of another kind. Sheets even smelled like smoke. We stayed there 6 months ago and was satisfied with room but this time was horrible.

Dislike The housekeeper service is ,1 housekeeper and wellbeing of how the sofa bed mattress protector wasnt clean and no sheets and the queen size mattress protector wasnt zipped up and the sheets had stains on them.comforter had an oil smell.but the front desk staff gave us new sheets and conforter that was replaced by us.

Smoke smelling building. Very disappointing. It was dirty. I couldn't check in for hours because their system was down. Staff were very unfriendly. My room was dirty. There were two cockroaches that i saw in my room. There may have been more. I requested a non smoking room. The sheets smelled of smoke. I couldn't sleep. Very disappointed. I would never recommend this hotel.

Well this was perhaps the worst hotel i've been too. Inside smells like pest control chemicals. Hair dryer started smoking when I turned it on. No room service. No breakfast despite the advertised continental breakfast.

There is no cleaning person who comes through the day. There was no Complimentary Continental Breakfast as advertised. Location felt very unsafe. I could not connect to the internet. The shower had horrible water pressure. I killed 3 cockroaches.

When you show up they can't ever find your reservation, poor customer service and poorly trained staff. Rooms stink, bed sheets were yellow. Please don't go here unless you got no other options! But thanks to Expedia's customer service I got a better hotel reservation!
