Location Burned carpets, no shampoo provided, questionable patrons gathering in the lobby at all hours of the night.

Walked into the lobby and the AC was off. Waited for someone to come to the counter for 10min then was assisted by a man who barely spoke over a whisper. I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. I felt dumb asking him like I was confused or something. Got into our room after going to the third floor and walking down a long, dirty and smelly hallway to open our door and found it smelling of marijuana. Nope. Hadn’t even set our bags down and turned back around and walked to the elevator, which was shaky and noisy on the way up and down. The clerk was standing at the desk still since it had barely been 5min and I told him we would not be staying there as our room smelled of marijuana. He looked shocked, I seriously doubt he was. Handed him our key card and said thanks, but no thanks and left. I didn’t even want to talk to him about a refund, just felt dirty and out of place being there. This place is very ghetto for being in Nassau Bay, directly across from Space Center Houston. I doubt I’ll ever receive a refund, but would love to get it back just because of what my 15yr old son, our Shih Tzu and myself had to deal with. Disgusting place.

Location and that’s all! The staff were rude, the place was filthy and not well taken care of. advertised free breakfasts, but all you got was granola bars.

Passable
- 1/5
Do not stay here.
- 2/5
The only good thing- the bed was comfortable. Needing attention: loose toilet seat, no roller on toilet paper roll, missing TV remote, uncleaned floor, need of painting bathroom, large and small reoccurring noises all night, spiders …
- 4/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Location lobby and stairwell smell really bad out of dog peeing. Staff is friendly but apparently exhausted out of cleaning up after the long term customers who allow their dogs to pee in the hotel!!

The front Desk did their job well enough for check in but nothing else. No descriptions of facilities locations in the hotel ie Ice machine where the breakfast would be set out. Bed was comfy and hotel was quiet in our room. The outside looks updated and nice. Tv Didn't work and the room looked like it was from 1970. Peeling paint, cigarette stains on Kitchen counter, 2 roaches greeting us to the room and smelled like swampy smoke. Later we had 2 more roaches visiting. Booking.com please do not tell people that breakfast is provided if it a, "grab and go." That does not count. This place was one of the worst I've ever seen.

There were so many roaches in the rooms. They were climbing on the walls and all over the bathroom! I would never stay here again.
- 2/5
Breakfast consisted of instant coffee, choice of a brownie, blueberry muffin (the kind that is bult in bulk, individually wrapped) or Nutra grain bar. To me that is not a complimentary breakfast. No pots or pans, dishes in the "studio" to use. I would have left had the room not been paid for in advance. Very disappointed!
- 3/5
The water that coming out of the shower head is so little and the room smells musty floor is dirty but linen is clean and there’s extra towel.
- 4/5
The overnight staff guy was nice. Called to make sure we still needed the room, checked to make sure it was clean, AC was on and cold. The elevator was down, and that’s a bummer when you have kids, but we made it.

clean and tidy, I was very happy with the overall service and hospitality. The check-in process was smooth, and the accommodations met all of my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay in Houston.

There was black mold on the in shower towel bar and stains in the shower a we saw several bugs crawling around the bathroom floor and walls. The bed skirt was missing. There is no hairdryer or toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Be sure to bring your own toiletries because you only get 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap. The website pictures were definitely taken of a different room as our room looked like it had been through hell with chipped cabinets and drawers not fully in their slots. This hotel definitely needs some upkeep. One good thing was its proximity to NASA.

This location smelled bad and the elevator didn’t work had to carry our luggage upstairs hallway smelled bad had animals in the location worst place ever and had roaches in my room door knob was broken off my daughter got locked in the bathroom

I liked everything. I recommend it.

First time staying in Texas and this place was really nice. Nice and close to a good friend so I’d definitely stay again.

I came to this hotel for a one-night stay before an event at the JSC. I checked in at 2:00 AM and a staff member was luckily able to give me a room to stay in. However, walking through the halls toward my room, there was an extremely unpleasant/foul smell that subsided a little bit once I went into my room on the second floor. The room itself seemed tidy and well kept. However, as I was preparing for sleep to wake up for my morning event, I found a roach crawling on the bed. By this point, it was 3:00 AM and I hadn't seen a staff at the front desk. I had given up all hope by this point. I went to look for a water bottle where I found a vending machine in a laundry room that smelled worse than the halls. Then I went back in my room contemplating what to do. Ultimately, I brought two rolling chairs together and laid down on them for an uncomfortable night. The worst part is what happened the next morning. I let the owner know about the roach I found in the bed and very obviously asked for a refund for the terrible conditions I had to stay in. I gave the owner my number and he told me he'd give me a call within a few hours to discuss my compensation, but I never got a call. This stay now happened a little over a week ago, and I worry that they were hoping I'd just forget about it altogether. I am very disappointed.
- 5/5
Staff at check-in was very professional considering their elevator was out. Found us a first floor room.
- 1/5
For the nice area this property is located it was not kept well. It was dirty and doors that should have only been accessible by keycard were left wide open. It felt very unsafe and uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Clean room . Great staff
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Only thing was the Elevator was down. And being disabled was not as fun going up stairs but Thank God it was only to second floor. Other then that it was Great.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Everything was great. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful
- 5/5
This was literally opposite NASA Space Station - perfect for hotel stay when visiting. No food available onsite (although breakfast is grab and go coffee and muffin). But there are take out options surrounding the hotel. Parking if you have your own transport - uber needed if using public.
- 3/5
The room was not cleared right there was trash left behind in the drawers and refrigerator the room smells like something was burning the elevator sounds like if it wanted to break this was the worst stay ever
- 1/5
Tub faucet dripped continuously. Floor was dirty. Light fixtures were broken. Entire hotel felt dingy. Room was very noisy, both from outside road and adjacent guests.
- 3/5
The property was very welcoming to our pet, staff were friendly and very helpful. The cleanliness of the room was the problem, particulary the bathroom.
- 5/5
we needed somewhere to stay for just one night and they were super accommodating for our stay. Hotel room was clean and has plenty of space for our things.
- 4/5
I stayed one night. Staff members are very friendly. Hotel elevator, room-refrigerator, air conditioner, shower and lighting all function well. The room and bedding are clean. For a basic lodging need and convenience of 5-min walk to Houston Space Center, I recommend it and would like to stay next time.
- 1/5
Room smell like crabs and the shower wasn't working
- 2/5
I’m kind of surprised at the rating for this place it was 7.2 I believe. The outside looked nice. The lobby looked nice, but the elevator was cheeky going up to the room and the hallway smelled the door across from this look like it had paint all over it. the room was not terrible, but I would’ve probably preferred outside and at Motel 6 and not a hallway that smelled.
- 2/5
The room smells so bad we called people and they did not have any other available room and they just sprayed some stuff on the carpet and we finally got the window open a little bit, but the smell really never went away. My husband ended up getting really congested from it and I got a headache.
- 1/5
I tried to find a bright spot but this place was a bit of a nightmare. The desk staff was nice enough but as unprofessional as I have ever seen. The only elevator was scary at best and broken for part of the stay. One of our two rooms had dirty sheets which the staff's solution was to give us another set for US TO CHANGE! PULLED THE SHEETS BACK and there was pee stains on the mattress.
- 5/5
Great! Everything we needed for our stay!
- 3/5
This room was fine for a bro on a business trip, but I would never book this if my wife were with me. Pros: The price was great, the room was clean, and no noisy neighbors. Cons: I had to specifically ask to get hangers in the closet and a cup in the bathroom. The provided breakfast is basically coffee and prepackaged muffins. The hallways are dirty.
- 4/5
Staff we polite
- 3/5
The room was VERY OUT DATED. BUT the front desk staff were awesome.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, room was great although there was some construction happening on the 3rd floor where our room was. We will definitely go back.
- 4/5
There were no cups, no glasses or coffee making facilties I wouldn’t stay again
- 4/5
At first it was hard to find someone at the front desk to check-in, but they were gracious and attentive. Liked the small efficient kitchen and size of room - location across from NASA was a big bonus which eliminated parking costs
- 5/5
Room was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Excellent staff.
- 4/5
Great value! Clean, comfortable bed. Place a little noisy. Otherwise we'll with it
- 5/5
Room was always spotless. Ac worked great. Staff was always friendly and attentive. Above and beyond. Breakfast was great. I will definitely stay here from now on.
- 2/5
Room had bedbugs. But the property was quiet, no loud sounds at all.
- 4/5
As the saying goes 'you get what you pay for'. Breakfast choices very disappointing.
- 2/5
There is no hair dryer, I tried to
- 3/5
The room was satisfactory for a one night stay. The front door would not close properly unless we pulled or pushed the door shut. The AC was set at 68 but was still warm in the room. Positives: close to the venue we were going too. Good for a night or weekend stay.
- 5/5
Quiet and staff was excellent
- 3/5
Overall minimal service which is fine as I do not need any of those and get charged for them. Rooms all have a small kitchenette but you need to ask the front desk for kitchenware which I have not done since I have not stayed long enough. The place feels safe, has easy no-charge parking and is quite convenient to NASA. There are places to eat or shop within walking distance.
- 5/5
Everiting excellent
- 1/5
The room was really dirty I was so grossed out I checked out the next morning.
- 2/5
Hotel was clean but only problem was too many roaches that i checked out the same day i checked in
- 5/5
Great stay overall

Victoria is amazing at the front desk . Coming from rm 201
- 5/5
Lovely place
- 4/5
This location is very convenient if you are going to NASA or its surroundings. Room was clean and front desk staff was friendly. Only downside was that elevator was not in service and microwave in room didn’t work. This place offers some morning snacks such as fruit bars , muffins and coffee.
- 1/5
Floor was wet with mild dough from the AC unit running. There were roaches. Strangers knocked on my door at night felt very unsafe. Some of the guest desk attendant were very rude. Also, the elevator was death attendant for 2 1/2 weeks. I stayed there a month.
- 5/5
I had a good time
- 4/5
Very good area and a nice quiet stay.
- 5/5
I love this hotel, it’s nice and clean, the staff is always great and it’s just a good place to chill out and relax!
- 1/5
- no room service ( every 6 days ) - room key needs to be activated again and again. You don’t need to verify your name and the room. Just give your room number and they take your words for it! - no camera security on hallways - dirty and smelly hallways - dirty towel needs to be brought by you and exchange with the clean one at the front desk - elevator didn’t work ( through out my staying for 5 days . - you pick up your trash and take it to “ trash room “
- 1/5
- keys constantly need to get activated again and again at the from desk. - front desk customer service are normally not there. You need to call them - cockroaches - hallways have no cameras! I guess they don’t need to prof anything if something is missing in your room - this time elevator was not working. - smelly hallways - when they activate your key card , they won’t ask you who you are. Just tell them what your room number is . They take your word a for it ! - no room service ( I think every $ days or when you your stay is expired ) - you take your dirty towel and get the new ones. - you take your trash out duiring your stay. Don’t believe ? Go ahead and experience it yourself!
- 3/5
Our room was a little dirty and smelled humid. Lots of food options near by
- 4/5
Great hotel
- 4/5
It was convenient for actually a short stay, but no staff at the counter.
- 1/5
Absolutely horrible. Literal definition of a roach hotel
- 3/5
Nice to leave car before trip. First room didn’t have working TV second room was better.
- 1/5
Cockroaches were everywhere, in kitchen and washroom
- 2/5
Two things keep this from being a one star: 1. Proximity to JSC - it's a short walk away. 2. The overnight front desk lady - I didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly helpful. The takeaway? If you are going to JSC and you don't mind stank and dank, it's fine but, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
- 5/5
Easy check-in process, lots of dining options near the property, great grab and go options

Very close to where we needed to be.

Extended Stay America NASA provides an experience of welcome consistency. The staff are always pleasant and they don’t hesitate to do their best to attend to my needs without delay.
- 1/5
I stayed three total nights my first night I stayed. I thought I had a working kitchen had a guest over to cook for and couldn’t find out the microwave didn’t work so I had to call the front desk. He said he was going to come check it out and never did 20 minutes later. I called back to the front desk to get them to come check out the microwave and finally did 10 minutes later so after 30 minutes, I waited after the other food was already cooked. He offered to let me go into another room to borrow their microwave. It was very inconvenient. I paid for the room, which should have come with all the amenities and if not, then I should be reimbursed. The second day I went to work and I called the front desk around noon to let them know that the microwave did not work and if they could send somebody in there to fix it, I told them that I would be home around 3 o’clock and to see if they could have it fixed by then I get back at 3 o’clock and nothing has been done with the microwave. It hasn’t even been touched supposedly a work order was put in so I went to the front desk this morning and said something to her about it again and finally on the last day they put in a new microwave. So I just want a refund for my first two nights.
- 1/5
To be honest, it was terrible. I got this room because it had a kitchenette and I had a microwave that didn’t work the entire time I was there. I let the front desk know, and I also called the executive people‘s number. I just feel like I deserve a refund
- 3/5
This is a no frills hotel catering to long-term stays. It has a decent room with kitchenette. No daily room cleaning, no daily trash removal, etc. They will provide you kitchen items when requested. This is a good stay for those willing to keep their place clean and not have sheets/towels changed out every day or two.
- 3/5
Did not have coffee, hair dryer and everything was very old.
- 5/5
We were visting a relative in ICU at Methodist and Extended Stay was so convenient.
- 5/5
Extended Stay America NASA is a great place to call home when you need a soft temporary landing. I always feel safe and warmly welcomed. I never have a problem or complaint.
- 2/5
It was awful. I didn’t have a working restroom for 2 days and they comped one day.
- 1/5
When we got there it smelled strongly of drugs. We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else
- 2/5
The Hotel Mgt is not focusing on cleanness and room was not ready, I just book other hotel and did early check out..
- 5/5
Amazing staff and always so nice and helpful Natasha has been a god send
- 4/5
Very convenient hotel near NASA. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The service was good.
- 5/5
I would recommend all my family and friends to stay here
- 4/5
Quiet and peaceful
- 5/5
The front desk staff is always available, efficient, and friendly. There is nothing negative to report at all. That’s a strong recommendation in my book. Think of all the things that might go wrong but don’t!
- 5/5
It’s a mini home
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! the room was clean and tidy and check in was easy. Thank you!
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 5/5
This was an ideal place for our 21st anniversary getaway. Close to everything, price was great. Nice to have a kitchen even though we didnt need it. Huge refrigerator was amazing. Would definitely stay again! A huge plus being right across the street from Johnson Space center which was one of our destinations on this trip.
- 5/5
Every staff member I've encountered has been on the spot, friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
- 4/5
Quiet location. Near Houston Space Center.
- 5/5
2 night stay. Spacious rooms and for the price it’s worth.
