The room was sufficient for a one night stay.
- 3/5
Clean room I didn’t get the room that was booked.
- 3.5/5
The staff was ok and location was good. The kitchen was dirty, counter tops, stove, cabinets. The bathroom was semi handicap accessible. We made do with the handicap teen that I had with me. The shower hand held hose needs a place for the head to mount.
- 0.5/5
Just the overall stay and how the hotel is ran
- 3/5
Whenever someone above us used their shower or flushed the toilet the water noise sounded like it was coming through the walls. The location is good if you are going to MD Anderson or other medical hospitals in the area. I guess for the price this what you can expect. A alright stay, but not a great stay.

Price. Quiet. Short drive to MD Anderson. New owner is doing some updates so there’s some minimal Construction/Painting to bear with, but it will only get better… He seems to care about his new property The staff was OK with the exception of one version who kind of spoils it for everybody, other guests commented on her as well… Her English is poor and she doesn’t seem to be very knowledgeable if you need directions or eating suggestions. On the other hand, another person was exceptional, Susan greeted me when I arrived and really set the tone to make it a good stay.

We stayed there cause it was closer to stadium. Our expectations were low but this hotel was on another level. Smell was terrible, AC was horrendously loud, we had bugs in the room. Staff was not helpful with anything, they were really annoying, unhappy people. What they call breakfast is bags of cheapest muffins an terrible quality coffee. They actually collected 'cash' money from us to keep our bags after check-out for couple hours. We had no other option but pay but never seen this in my life. Be aware!

Budget hotel. They didn’t clean our room once during our 4 night stay. Pull out had stains everywhere and they didn’t have any additional blankets or pillows. The washroom door didn’t lock and property has basic updates. Weird smells everywhere. But it was a good price for World Cup and 7 mins from stadium.

Great location to watch events at NRG stadium that's about it.
- 2/5
When we arrive toilet was not working so they had to send maintenance because they did not have other room. Bed was extreme uncomfortable squick and they would not change room just claim no more rooms
- 2.5/5
The price, short of $300 per night, is way too high for the quality of the room and service. The furniture and cabinets were old and worn. The shower head was mounted too low, and there was only one travel-size shampoo and soap. There were no water bottles in the room, no coffee machine.
- 2/5
No me gustaría quedarme en un lugar así otra vez
- 1/5
The whole hotel was in terrible shape, and particularly, the rooms. The rooms are old and poorly maintained; the shower’s water pressure and temperature was bad, also the TV didn’t have any channels. The hotel took advantage of us by charging a lot of money to hold our luggages and also there was essentially no breakfast, even though they advertise one.
- 1/5
Beds were dirty, showers had other guest hair all over the shower, shower kept flexing at the bottom it felt like it was going to break.
- 3/5
Asked for bottom floor and was put on 3rd floor. Room never got cool- seamed warm most of time. Was told they would have muffins they did not have any or fruits just oatmeal packs. No coffee 24 hrs just in morning.
- 3/5
Cons: I expect a room with a full kitchen to have at least minimal cookware. This room had nothing: no pot, no plate, no bowl, no glass, no silverware. First time I’ve ever experienced this in a room with a kitchen. It was my first time to stay in this brand of hotel. Pool was padlocked. Could hear everything in room above me. Breakfast same every day & was minimal- coffee, tea, 2 flavors muffins, oatmeal. Only sugar, no artificial sweeteners.

The overall hotel is shabby and somewhat derelict. However, the room was clean and in good condition. More importantly, it was incredibly spacious and well-designed, with extensive amenities. Full kitchen with bar, a real desk for writing, proper couch and extra cushioned chair. Really supportive and comfortable for my purposes. Bed was pretty cozy too.
- 1/5
Hotel reaps of Marijuana not a 5-star or people in this
- 1/5
Absolutely disgusting. There was a man in our room upon arrival. Staff or not. Why was he in our room? There was white wet stuff all over the floor and CONSTANT CONSTRUCTION. House keeping never came even though we were advised they’d come in the 5th* day. Awful hotel.
- 2/5
Wasn't the cleanest, smelly. My reservation was cancelled after informing the front desk that I will be checking in one day late. I had to to pay current nightly rates for the booking.
- 5/5
Wish the kitchen was prepared with a few pots and pans and utensils to cook with. Hard to cook eggs in the morning with a plastic spoon. Maybe have guests check out pans with ID and return after using and cleaning. Garbage cans were being used for some type of construction. No one checked on room after first day so garbage was completely full. Hard to throw away garbage with no cans outside of the room. Floors need to be cleaned better. Appliances in room were old. Had to microwave everything. No hangers when I arrived. TV worked well. Bed was comfy. Nice variety of pillow firmness to please all types of guess. Lighting was comfortable. Location was perfect to where I needed to be. Kroger location was excellent. Staff was helpful.

- 3/5
Hotel was being repaired, no elevator, breakfast was nothing, should of been called after booking online about repairs. Being in my mid 70's walking up to the third flood was not part of my plans.
- 1/5
The property had construction going on at 4am. Apparently a water pipe broke. I tried contacting the hotel but they would not respond. I checked out early and won't be staying here again.
- 1/5
I booked a reservation for 16 nights at the Extended Stay by NRG stadium. When I got there the denied checking me in because thete washad a message on their computer which said do not register
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, elevator was working most of the time. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 1/5
The room that we booked was not available. There was not a lock on our door. Our unit was not cleaned. There were hairs everywhere. The toilet was not clean. The were very few amenities. The full kitchen was not a full kitchen. It was empty cabinets. The location to NRG Stadium was great. I will not stay at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Dated facilities but great if you need somewhere to lay your head for the night.

Only good things were hot water and cleanliness. Properties really suck when they discriminate because you booked through a 3rd party (xpedia). I mean, aren't we all wanting to save find the best deal?! I've stayed at this property many times and this was the worst experience. Funny, they discriminate because I booked thru 3rd party...that they agreed to; but they'd rather have an empty room? Crazy! Pretty sure this property has changed hands because I saw evidence if refreshing it, but my room was ridiculous! Yes, it had fresh paint and the bed was ok; but absolutely nothing else! Oh, 2 plastic cups...other than that, the kitchen was completely bare! I asked for ice but was told they didn't have an ice machine 😐 ummm, what?! Shower was so-so, BUT the toilet didnt work! Sorry, but NOT sorry for them treating me so poorly!!! I always liked staying here and the price was reasonable, but they are totally nixed from my list now. Will NEVER recommend them!!!
- 4/5
This property is nice and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and valued. Our room was a deluxe suite-- quite spacious, clean, and adequate. Loved the pretty flowers at the entrance .. appreciated the free parking. So many other properties nearby charge quite a bit and we enjoyed this perk.
- 2/5
There was a broken window that we were unaware of until I looked out the window at 2:00 in the morning and I saw the cardboard taped on the window so that felt unsafe when we first entered the room we saw a few roaches and they scattered and the room was not clean at all the floor was dirty lit and paper all over the floor so we checked out that next morning and went to another location

Staff at the counter was excellent. Room was in excellent condition.

The pictures on the website look great , in person ….. not so much . It smelled terrible on the floor we were put on . It seems to have flooded or something because it smelled like horrible mold and a porta potty combined plus they were ripping out carpet from the rooms all down the hall . There was pieces of ceiling all over the hallway carpet that they decided to start vacuuming at 9 pm right outside our door . The room was so meh . It looked nothing like the pictures . There was rust stains all over the refrigerator, the bathroom fan vent was exposed and looked so gross , the hair dryer looked like a fire hazard ( glad I brought my own ) , there was hardly any water pressure . When we went to take showers we only had 2 towels and wash clothes for 4 people . Our key the room didn’t want to work and the young lady at the front desk wasn’t the nicest and kept saying I must have put the card by my electronics, which I didn’t . She was very rude to the patrons at the counter before me on several occasions I went down there to get my key rekeyed for the room . When we asked for more towels the next day she just handed us some wadded up towels . Every time we walked outside there was someone smoking weed right by our car . The pull out sofa bed was a joke . Prisoners probably have better mattresses . We only stayed a second night because we had to prepay and it was non-refundable . Overall it was a bad experience and I do not recommend at all .
- 5/5
Rooms are upgraded, nice and clean. They had new microwaves and fresh paint throughout the entire building. Customer service was great. I have stayed here several times before. It was great to see the upgrading.
- 1/5
The room lacked any kitchen dishes. When asked for 2 days about the dishes we finally decided to move. The bathtub felt like it could fall through the floor at any given time.
- 1/5
Room was dirty and floor sticky. Tub and restroom not clean. Customer service was awful and the attitude was unsatisfactory. Couldn't get towels replaced and everything was questioned when we were just trying to get things cleaned or needed more towels.
- 1/5
Poor maintenance - Hair dryer was broken. The room was dark. Safety issue - Homeless people were gathering at the bench located right next to the hotel man entrance inside the parking lot. I did not feel safe during my stay. Sad breakfast - it was just coffee machine and muffins grab to go. No dining area. No fruits, no yogurt, no waffle.
- 2/5
Since this was a suite with a kitchen, I expected dishware and silverware. There was none. There was not even a coffee maker in the room. The "breakfast" that was to be included consisted of only packets of instant oatmeal and coffee...that was it. The shower toiletries included only a small bar of soap and a small bottle of shampoo. There was no conditioner. Disappointing.
- 1/5
Beware of this place! Filthy room and hallway, skimpy bedding, smelled like weed most of the time. Couldn’t wait to leave. Overall disgusting. Floor in the room was filthy. People above us were noisy all night.
- 5/5
Nice room that was clean and well kept for a reasonable price. Is within walking distance of NRG stadium. Went to the Texas bowl between LSU and Houston.
- 4/5
Room was clean but had a strong cleaner smell.

The hotel was run-down. There were holes in the hall roof and leaky ceiling. The hall outside our room smelled if marijuana. The morning breakfast was a joke.
- 3/5
Room seem to be clean but smelled really bad.
- 2/5
Needs more cleaning and deodorizers
- 5/5
The room was HUGE with a full kitchen a living room area and two beds very comfy. Enjoyed it and it was like few blocks down from NRG stadium so going to a game you are right there.
- 4/5
Property is old, under renovation inside so was dusty and bit noisy during the day. Breakfast is non-existent.

My stay was from 09/03-09/10. However we had to leave a day early due to the condition. We are from the San Antonio area and my wife is a cancer patient receiving treatment in Houston. Upon our arrival our first room smelled terrible. We thought the room may have just been musty from non use. Unfortunately my wife was in treatment the next day and when I requested a room change I was told it was too late In the day so we had to spend another night in the room. We eventually changed to another room which had no odor. The hallway leading to the room, however had the same nasty odor and our first room. I attempted to find another hotel but due to it being a weekend I could not locate one in the area till the following week. The room was gross. All the sink and tub fixtures had a ring of rust around the metal areas. The appliances were old and the oven temperature numbers were worn off making it impossible to know the setting. The workout room was closed due to numerous mattresses occupying the room. The laundry room had dryers that took credit cards and washers that took quarters. There was no change machine and the desk clerk said they never keep change. I had to leave the hotel to get quarters. I needed to print an important document
- 3/5
Smelled cleaner than previous times.
- 3/5
Parking was good and convenient to NRG stadium.
- 2/5
The amenities they don’t have to keep guest occupied the coffee was always out of order nothing for guest to drink no food the washer & dryer don’t wash good 1 washer doesn’t work housekeeping don’t ask if you need towels or your trash taken out they don’t come & clean rooms the prices to high when it’s no good Amenities here
- 1/5
Hands down the WORST hotel experience of my life! No breakfast provided, other than mini pre-packaged muffins and a pouch of hot chocolate, not even hot water, no coffee. If you want to exchange towels, you need to bring your dirty towels to the front desk between 7 am and 7 pm. If you need toilet paper, you need to go to the front desk to get yourself. Dirty, smelly, terrible customer service. And there seemed to be several strange people living in the hotel, and a crowd always smoking outside the front door. NEVER again will I step anywhere near that place, no matter how convenient it is to NRG>
- 2/5
Lacking maintenance and taps and stuff does not properly shut. Water keeps dripping at night. And poor quality of stuff in room
- 1/5
The room was never ready & the staff at the front desk is rude & unprofessional they canceled my reservation when I arrived to check in without a reason or accommodation
- 1/5
No coffee in room or at the grab and go breakfast. Only muffins - no hot water. or bowls for oatmeal. NO blow dryer in room. No hair conditioner. Very drab rooms- won’t stay here again
- 1/5
Dirty room, poorly maintained property, no shampoo or body lotion, and the “to-go” breakfast wasn’t ready on time even after we asked—made us late. Would not stay again.
- 2/5
Room smelt like mold, water constantly dripping from shower, pool closed, gym closed, no breakfast, no coffee pot, no comforter on bed just 2 thin sheets. I pray i get a refund.

The property required me to pay an additional fee at the property of $3.81, they claimed was for an upgrade which I did not ask for. The room was dirty with human hair on the floor, bathroom, tub and sink. Doors where coming loose on cabinets and no hangers in the closet and no doors on the closet. The curtain would not close together to block out the light from the parking lot. They have smoking table set up next to the front door that you must walk through to enter the property smelling of smoke. The fire alarm went off in the morning only to find out it was a false alarm. The room across the hall was under construction and a mess in the hall that I got to walk through that. Not a place I would recommend to anyone!

If you want even a decent hotel, do not stay here. The furniture was all ripped up. There was holes in the ceiling, stains on the floors. Hardly locking windows. Zero cutlery. Zero plates. Two microwaves one of which didn’t work. No doors on the closets. Terrible bedding. I’m usually not one to complain, but this needs a lot of work. Also the gym facilities was a storage closet with buckets of paint. Zero exercise equipment.

Mejorar la limpieza de los cuartos, en toda mi estancia nunca fueron a limpiar mi cuarto, el desayuno solo café, té, muffins, avena

room smell bad and cockaraches in the elevator
- 2/5
Ya'lll...this hotel is gross. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. I don't have high standards, I just want something that's clean, safe and under $100 a night, but this place looks like nothing has been fully cleaned or renovated since the 70s. The carpet was torn, stained and burned, the walls are scuffed and banged up, everything had kind of a grimy outdated feel. I was scared to touch anything, and literally kept my bag in the fridge as that was the only clean place I could trust. There was this weird pervasive musty smell, and was surprised to see there were no screens or gates on the large sliding 3rd floor windows, as staying in that room for more than a few hours starts to make the idea of throwing yourself out a window seem really appealing.
- 1/5
DO NOT stay here. The pictures online are a false representation. The rooms are dirty with dust and bugs and old food. The furniture looks like it was found in the side of the road. Rips, stains and holes. My kids couldn’t use the pull out couch it was so nasty. The breakfast was a muffin and packet of oatmeal. I paid 273.00 for this garbage due to an event. I will never stay here again.

Couch beds sucked/broken had to upgrade $. Had to hand flash cause the floater disnt work and seat loose. All furniture nasty and old. Had to change rooms once and didnt feel like it again. Staff are nice. But the advertisement lied. No breakfast but oat meal. And all i smell is weed. Get place for druggies but not familys or a business trip. - 5/5
The entire experience was great!!!
- 3/5
It was just ok. Very pet friendly and by the standards of Extended Stay America, these were just BARELY there. One thing I did take a bit of an issue with were that there were some street people hanging around asking for cigerettes and one even asked if we could get him a room. It seemed like the hotel staff just allowed them to loiter around the lobby and the property in the evening and that was a bit sketchy. The breakfast is instant coffee and muffins. It is passable. The room was fine but a little improvement and slight investment could go a very long way. Again, not bad but there are a few little things like the no loitering in the lobby that could make this place a little bit more appealing.
- 3/5
It was ok not an excellent experience. Not very friendly, supposed to be non smoking but seems like everyone was smoking inside of the rooms. Fire alarm went on and off for two hours straight, not sure if they were working on it. Great area that has a lot of convenient places walking distance.
- 1/5
Save your money, don’t stay here. The website states it serves breakfast but it does not. The hotel is old and not updated and smelled like marijuana. The worse part is I woke up with several bites on my legs, that really resembled bed bug bites.
- 1/5
Lights did not work properly in the room, found roaches in the bathroom and the pool was not properly cleaned. I would not recommend this location. Stay someplace else.
- 2/5
Ok if you close your eyes, plug your nose and fall asleep quick. People are sleeping in the lobby multiple nights, room was discussing and smelled. Dead roaches, long black hair everywhere. This place needs some help
