They give free cookies & the water was hot. Location was convenient $40 parking per night. The tub was dirty & clogged , we changed rooms & that tub could’ve been cleaner aw well

This was not a good experience. Upon arrival, my car was too tall to park in the garage, so I was required to pay to Valet. After check-in, I was stuck in the elevator on the way to my room. I was alone for almost 45 minutes. The call buttons did not work, and I had to call the front desk from my phone to alert them. I had to climb out mid floor with my luggage. Upon coming back from the event I was attending, I was looking forward to a nice bath. There were pubic hairs and blood in my shower. Finally, the breakfast buffet was completely empty. I brought these items to the hotel’s attention, but was only comped for my valet parking.

Clean quiet property a little hard to find.

The hotel is very elegant and stylish. However, there were no slippers in the room, which would have been a nice addition. The location is not very convenient for using public transportation, so it is necessary to have a car or take a taxi to get around. The price was reasonable and fair for the quality of the hotel.

The water shuts off at 3am for hours the front desk won’t answer the next morning the water runs literally brown. The escalator to get to the lobby doesn’t work so good luck brining all your stuff up stairs. The parking garage is a nightmare the vending machines are 4 dollars and you get flat expired soda. And the room service charges you 5 dollar delivery fee and automatically charge you 20% tip, all that is fine but they give you the receipt to fill out and literally ask you to leave another tip when they already charged it to you. They are slimy. And the price on the app you scan to see the room service menu is not what your receipt will say. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you love brown water and being ripped off at every corner

View/location Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the condition of the property and the lack of communication regarding major issues made my stay extremely unpleasant and unacceptable. Upon arrival, I was moved to different rooms multiple times because the initial rooms were not properly cleaned. The sheets and comforters were dirty, and there were also issues with water backing up in the shower and sink. The third room was clean, but the front door lock was defective. I had to go down to the front desk several times because I was unable to get into my room. Eventually, a very nice engineer came to the room and resolved the issue. I appreciate his professionalism and assistance, but I should not have had to repeatedly leave my room and contact the front desk simply to gain access to my room. Most concerning, however, was that there was no running water throughout the entire hotel last night. Despite this significant issue, the hotel continued checking guests in without notifying them beforehand. Guests should have been informed of a situation this serious before being allowed to check in so they could make an informed decision about whether to stay. The combination of unclean rooms, plumbing problems, a defective room lock, and the complete loss of running water is far below the standard I expected. I paid for a hotel room with basic cleanliness, security, and access to essential services, none of which were consistently provided during my stay. I am requesting that management review this situation and provide an appropriate refund or compensation for the significant inconvenience and disruption caused. I would also appreciate a written response explaining how these issues occurred and what steps will be taken to prevent other guests from experiencing the same problems. I look forward to your prompt response and a fair resolution. Sincerely, Princess’s. 216-239-8741

The garage is so poorly done, almost getting out of it without scratching the truck is almost impossible. The room was dusty, beds were okay, but the furniture besides form being dusty, it was stained very badly.

Breakfast is not buffet style. You get a coupon for $18 off at the front desk, but that was not explained upon check in. The waiter told me that when I came to breakfast. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Towels and turn down service were timely. I usually have to request extra towels at other hotels. The towels were replenished every day without me having to chase them down. The elevators were fast, which was a good thing since I ubered everywhere.

upon arrival, there were four of us in line to check in, but there was NO one behind the check in desk -- that is a big no no for a hotel to do that. Eventually a lady came and assisted everyone. had there been a second person behind the desk, that would have been extremely useful. escalator from parking garage to lobby was broken. key card to access the parking garage did not work. the bottles of shampoo and body wash in the shower put out tiny drops of liquid. you have to press multiple times and still don't get enough coming out to be helpful. also, i requested my Hilton Honors # be entered into the system and the clerk flat out refused to do it. in short, this hotel is being very poorly managed and it shows; will not go back there and cannot recommend this property to anyone else.

Stay was uneventful. Only problem I had was I was depending on the shuttle service to get to my morning appointment and the service WASNT available. Forcing me to pay for an Uber

Stayed 2 nights while on Houston. Nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. The biggest downside was ur inability to get something to eat onsite. Starbucks closed early afternoon. The Rock Bar opened for approximately 5 hours closed at 10. Otherwise, we had a comfortable stay.

Great location, nice breakfast, great staff but the property needs some renovation and WC was broken

After I checked out of the roach motel at Best Western, I was relieved to land here at the Double Tree. The hotel was clean; they had great amenities and services. My room was clean and nicely appointed. The view was gorgeous especially at night. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our hostess was amazing! So welcoming and friendly. Thank you@

Very nice and clean hotel, the man that checked me in was really helpful. My bed was comfy, so slept good. Especially after a few drinks and a steak at the bar.

I did not have the best experience at this property. The ac in my room did not work properly I tossed and turned. There were water leaks throughout the property. Just not a good experience.
- 3/5
Way more expensive for what they offer

The property was amazing. Can’t wait to stay again next year!
- 1/5
Room was very, tub/shower had long pieces of hair in it… I don’t even think the shower was cleaned after seeing that much hair. Air conditioner barely worked
- 3/5
We appreciate the place to sleep for the night, but we didn’t know if the extra $44 we paid to park before we left.
- 5/5
O really, this was a good stay. I always enjoy staying at this location when visiting.
- 2/5
Hot/cold shower faucet in room did not work correctly. OTA TV channels pixelated.
- 4/5
Second staying at this property within a year and enjoy. Can be a bit pricey if events are happening in the city, but would otherwise stay again.
- 3/5
My telephone in the room didn’t work, the surge priotextor blew my coffee machine and after an hour still no one came for help. There are no apps or upgrades on the tv at all. I was upgraded due to cigarette smoking in the building but I was not overall impressed with the facility. The staff was very friendly at check in and check out.
- 3/5
The room was okay, definitely a little outdated so felt kind of dirty. Hallways smelled weird. Staff was nice when checking in but we didn’t get warm cookies in our room. Parking is absolutely terrible, the parking garage made no sense and smelled terrible. Probably wont stay here again compared to other hotels.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Houston. From the moment I arrived, my experience fell far below the standards I have come to expect from Hilton. The carpet in my room was visibly dirty, the room had an unpleasant odor, and the bathroom had what appeared to be mold. These conditions made the room feel unclean and uncomfortable throughout my stay. To make matters worse, the breakfast was also extremely disappointing. The quality and overall experience did not meet the expectations associated with the Hilton brand and added to my dissatisfaction with the stay. I chose Hilton because of its reputation for quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. Unfortunately, this stay failed to meet those expectations. A clean room and a quality guest experience are basic standards that every guest should be able to rely on. I respectfully request that Hilton review my stay and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment I experienced. I hope you will take my concerns seriously and use this feedback to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Raylon Primus

Excellent service, comfortable beds. Short drive to downtown.
- 4/5
The staff was incredible! Parking is a bit pricey and the garage is confusing but understandable for the area. Maybe try putting automatic air refresher in the halls, it smelled like mouth balls aka old people. And try also changing the lighting in the hallway and in the actual rooms. Update the hotel.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Well maintained. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet wasn’t great but it was decent. But overall I enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff were nice and professional. One of the escalators were down. I would definitely recommend.

Every body was knowable and helpful
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and the common spaces were fine. The rooms and bathrooms need updating and a few of the floors smelled as is people were allowed to smoke.
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk were very rude .
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay with family
- 3/5
Parking charges: charge for parking should be made clear by hotel facilities at the time of booking. Expexdia booking should clearly state whether breakfast is included in the price. Hotel is old: needs to be refurbished Staff: really average but they may be used to the first issues Ammenities in room: limited
- 5/5
Manager asked couple of tines about our stay and was very helpful
- 5/5
The staff at this hotel is excellent. They are knowledgeable, friendly and eager to provide 5 star customer service. I used valet service multiple times each day and again every member of the valet team was friendly and on the ball. The hotel rooms make me think this is an older building that is well maintained. I was so impressed by the staff that I stayed again the next time I was in Houston. I was just as happy as the first stay. It was a little difficult to find the front entrance for the first time. I turned too soon and ended up in the underground garage.
- 5/5
Small bathroom
- 3/5
just okay
- 1/5
I paid online for the hotel. When I get to the hotel they’re asking deposit payment again. Later on, one of the staff explained to me why? To deduct the amount $$$ by using their garage. The remaining deposit will return to my account, unfortunately nothing was refunded to my account. How terrible it is.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and great location. Clean room and excellent service.
- 3/5
The bathroom showers tub need to be updated and unable on way to make coffee or heat food in the room.
- 4/5
We got a good deal on a presidential suite, but the water in the shower was too hot. It seems that cold water did not run to the showers. We had the sign to come back later for cleaning, but they never came back to check. It was still a good experience, but just something that can be improved.
- 2/5
This hotel feels very old and dingy. The toilet and sinks in the bathroom are that ancient yellow color and make everything feel unclean somehow. The room was very warm despite lowering the AC to the max. Location is fine. Parking is a huge pain and confusing. Not worth what they charge. They need to update the building if they want to present themselves as a nicer hotel.

The hotel is great location, the staff is very polite and helpful and facilities are very well kept.
- 5/5
The shuttle service was not Working.
- 4/5
They were understaffed at the front desk. The people that were there were very courteous, but over extended.
- 5/5
Older hotel but still decent!
- 5/5
We love the hotel. The staff was really good. My son enjoyed the pool. The only complaint I have was the outlets in the room were a little old.
- 1/5
Absolutely will never stay here again. Accessing the property is a nightmare full of twisting tunnels down into an old underground parking garage. Once inside you must juggle your luggage up two escalators to the lobby. There was only one person checking in the very long line of guests. I understand that FIFA was happening, you could have prepared accordingly. Guest room floors smell like a dive bar full of old cigarette smoke and bad decisions. The rooms and carpet throughout are long overdue for a refresh. I escaped briefly to the restaurant only to return to a door that no longer wanted to be opened and had to wait for hours while “engineering” came to break in and repair it. Well more than a single cookies worth of inconvenience. The only positives you’ll find here is a small bar with really good food (kudos to the chef) and very pleasant staff. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
We were happy with our stay, the property was clean.
- 5/5
Oh my God I love this place I love how the valet opens the doors every time you come in or out. This stay was exceptional

Good pool Good Breakfast buffet for a price... good price too. Issues: Dated property Also, water was extremely hot and difficult to control at the shower
- 3/5
Great location, really nice gym. The restaurant was delicious and Starbucks was in the lobby. I wouldn't use the mobile check in as it worked the first day, but then checked us out on our second day. I would check in with the desk only.
- 5/5
Fast and courteous check in. Quiet, clean, comfortable room.
- 4/5
Good, so old building, buy all clean
- 2/5
The room I order was nothing I suppose to get and the staff was not helpful and rude
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was nice. $30 for parking is a little steep.

Fantastic hotel. 5 star all around
- 1/5
It is old and smelled of mildew and cigarettes.
- 4/5
The room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did a good job keeping everything in order, and the common areas were also well cared for. Overall, the hotel provided good value for the experience offered.

Bar/restaurant not open long enough
- 4/5
They overall stay was great the staff was very helpful and the place was clean. My only complaint would be travel to the parking deck it’s kind of aggravating. I stayed in room 521 and the shower head was a bit messed up but still worked just happens to leak a bit at the top. Loved staying at the double tree overall and had an amazing time on my Houston visit. Hope to come back and would definitely recommend to others and book again if needed.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a convenient location and I like the outdoor area. The elevator was older and took way long too move down, but was fine going up. The staff was the best...super helpful and very nice.
