Good ac, quiet, clean. Close to UH and food and shopping.

This location is close to UH. This is the main reason for my stay. To be close to family. It’s quiet and clean and a well lit parking lot. Do t let the location scare you off. Close to chick fil an and McDonald’s and gas stations. Walmart is close by as well. Can’t be the price and cold room.

The property itself was clean. The restroom in the room had a glob of hair stuck in the drain of the tub and the tub was dirty.

Es mentira del Breakfast, eso es solo un cuento. Pero el ligar esta bien, aire funciona perfecto, todo limpio me gusto la comodidad de la abitacion, excepto que el inodoro no funcionaba, eso puede ser frustrante pero en mi caso solo estuve aproximada mente 6 horas por lo que no me afecto.

Modern, clean, family run motel. The ACs were working unlike most motels. It's right next to the freeway but that sounds like the ocean to me. Blankets were too small.

The pictures on Expedia are NOT pictures of this property! The pictures are a DRASTIC misrepresentation! This hotel is not in a safe area, the property looks old and the outside was not clean. The only reason we didn't immediately drive away was because I had already prepaid for the room. The room itself was clean. The fridge and microwave were in good working order and clean. The bed was very firm and the sheets were stiff, but the AC worked well enough to keep us cool all night. The water barely trickled out of the shower. I could not even wash my hair because I did not have enough water pressure to rinse it. Breakfast was only served for a very short time each day, ending at 9 am! Ridiculous! The front desk staff was nice and helpful and the housekeeping staff was also helpful. If you are a single person in town to work a job and need a cheap room, this might be fine for you. But for a family, i would not recommend this place. I felt upset from the moment we drove up because the pictures on expedia were NOT representative of the actual property!

The Room was clean but was very warm upon arrival. When I checked in the staff was nice. Upon checking out, the staff wasn't as nice. They served the same breakfast for the two days I was there. It would be nice to have variety.

The guests above us were really loud.( to the point of keeping us awake) We called the front desk to ask if they would call the guests, they said they would. The guests made more noise so my husband went and personally talked to the ladies at the front desk. They again assured him they would call the guests. The noise never stopped. Breakfast was not good .

Nothing Staff was so impolite, rude and disrespectful. Owner has a really nasty attitude, and unprofessional. Once, I got in my room and sprayed it down. I had a big spider on my bed.

Please do not book this hotel I can say that my experience there was absolutely horrible. I drove four hours to get to this hotel upon entering the room the air wasn’t on, so me and my children had to sit in a hot room until the air kicked in . Well the ac unit was broken because the ac only blew hot air literally . They offered to move us to another room when entering that room I noticed that the room was disgusting the floors were dirty the covers were filthy and there were gnats everywhere not to mention gnats inside my original room that I had booked. I stated my complaints and concerns to the front desk and requested to speak with a manager the first day throughout the day but they stated the manager wasn’t on the property I booked for three nights long story short but ended up checking out the first night there this has been the worst experience ever!!!!

Went to take a shower and there were 3 big bugs in the bathroom so we decided to vacate the premise and find another hotel. When I called to let them know they offered no support or apology.

Easy to find, super quick check in and check out. Area was amazing. Some things were broken, but overall was good.

Property is a reconstructed motel not a hotel. However, the room was clean, furnished with what appeared to be daycare furnishings. Stairwells needs to be pressure washed and breakfast was depleted as early as one hour into the start of breakfast surprisingly for a small motel. Location of the motel was surprising tucked away behind another building just the interstate service road. Overall i would rate this property between 2-3.

Staff are supportive and helpful. Will plan again to book same in future.

To say that we were catfished by this property is an understatement. It looks nothing like it does online. It is literally an open air motel that has been renovated. While it was somewhat clean, it still gave somewhat trap house motel. And it had a slight odor to it, that did not go away. If it had not been the fact that we were only staying for a night I would not have stayed. I slept in my clothes.

Room is clean , Air conditioning works well but ventilation inside the room is not great whatever perfume you are using or eating anything, smell will stay in the room for a long time until you open the door for like 20 minutes. Stuff is not bad and the good part they sell water and soda for cheap prices! Water for 1$ that is something new!

The room was really nice. It was clean. The A/C was off in the room when we got there so it took a while to cool down. But once it did, it was cold!! Overall it was great for a 1 night stay.

We stayed here for one night so we could attend a concert downtown. We got there super early and was allowed to check-in for a minimal fee. The man at the front desk was nice and friendly. The 3 bed comfort room was spacious and clean. This was our second time staying here and we would do it again if need be.

Arrived and room smelled like cigarettes when it was a smoke free, told the cleaning lady and she just sprayed febreese. I was in a hurry for an extent but didn’t have time to waste, came back at night and odor was strong still. Let owner know but didn’t offer anything to help

While the area around the property isn’t great (next to the highway) the Inn itself makes up for it with their hospitality. They truly care about your stay and ensuring your comfort. The Roos are large and comfortable.

The iron did not work, dog barking and ladies laughing at 4:30am. The property was good for a night stay but not longer than that.

The room was clean but the bathroom needs more hooks to hang the clothes and towels.

The photos shown for this hotel are very misleading and do not match the actual property. It looks like a completely different hotel in person. I traveled with children, and the surrounding area did not feel safe for families. There are several adult stores around the hotel, and we saw people smoking pot during our stay. It was not an appropriate environment for kids. If you are traveling with family, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel.

The overall look of the hotel wasn’t bad. The rooms are outside but they are updated. Unfortunately, when I checked in, my room was not ready and I walked into a dirty room. No problem, got moved to another room. Room was not bad, but something was off and I was uncomfortable. The floor wasn’t as clean, had hair on the floor still. The bed’s comforter looked like it hadn’t been washed and the towels were covered in hair. I wasn’t very comfortable with staying there, so I left. But the staff were very friendly. I just decided to get my things and go elsewhere for the night.

Room was very clean and updated. We had a larger corner room so lots of extra space for our family of 4. The parking lot is well lite and we felt very safe. Great location near UH. Beds were harder than we like however that it always a personal preference.

This is my 4th time staying at this property. The rooms are always clean and cold. It’s right but a busy highway but I don’t even notice the noise. The shower has good water pressure. It’s close to the University of Houston. The parking lot is well lit. Great price for staying the night.

It was gross. The area around the hotel is awful. N the hotel looks terrible outside. It’s one with the doors that open to the outside, which is not a deal breaker for me, but not my favorite. The good was that it had been recently renovated so the rooms looked attractive. However, the shower curtain was stained or dirty, the bench in the room was stained, and I killed a German cockroach in my room. Which was just the final gross straw for me. Breakfast looked crappy, but I didn’t eat it after the cockroach incident. Stray cats and dogs were roaming the property, including a pitiful cat in the corridors. The other good thing I can say is that the front desk lady was very nice and got us checked in quickly. She had her child with her and I thought it was nice for them to let her have her child at work. It’s nice to see places support their employees in this way. But I will not stay here again thanks to the area and cockroaches in the rooms.

The motel was dirty out side on the sidewalks and stairwells. No elevators, and the area seemed unsafe. The worst part was within 4 minutes of getting into our room, we saw roaches. So we did not stay and they refused to give us a refund, even though we took pics of the roaches. Would NEVER stay at this place.

I’ve stayed at this property about 12 times and it’s always clean. The staff is great and their children are respectful.

False advertising it’s not downtown, staff rude, motel not a hotel

This listing is very deceiving. The sketchy area was the least of my problems. There was mold in the bathroom, nothing sound proof. Also no mention of cash only deposit with no atm available. Roaches crawling on the bed and on the food I just bought from Whataburger down the street. All of the towels heavily stained and dirty. Shower curtain looked moldy and even though it is remodeled some, it’s still old looking hardware. Also construction going in the rooms so it was loud beyond street noise. If it wasn’t for the “good reviews” and the 8 rating I would have never stayed here. Horrible experience.

I received an email that stated check out time ends at anytime. I received a phone call stating if I wasn’t there shortly they would cancel my reservation. I showed up 20 mins later. There was no mention of a cash deposit on arrival. They charged my card before I arrived then charged the rest when I did arrive which was okay i guess. After I paid the total for the room reservation that the website stated they told me I needed to pay $50 for a cash deposit to be able to stay there. Scared I wouldn’t get my full amount we accepted and gave the receptionist $60 and she proceeded to ask if we had change. We didn’t have any smaller bills. She didn’t have any change for the random deposit they were charging so we had to leave $60 with them. They wouldn’t give us a receipt until the end of our stay that stated they took $60 in cash. We won’t be staying at anymore Days Inn from now on.

The property is poor with everything things

The bed was comfy and the water was hot. It’s honestly a good place just not what we expected for almost $90.

All worked as expected. Check-in was quick and easy. Nice clean room with a fridge and a microwave - used both. Some noise from a nearby highway, but not really bothering. AC unit was surprisingly quiet, big plus. Good breakfast - little better than the advertised "continental", in my opinion. Flawless checkout - just dropped in the keys and went on the road. Good value.

Well lit parking lot, not too noisy. Transaction was easy and fast. Stairs dirty and trash around. Room seemed fair clean when walking in. But once inside we noticed ants crawling on walls. We called staff and lady came in and sprayed ant killer spray. A little annoying because odor was strong for a while. Other than that, ok.

Collected towels for cleaning with no towels returned until 20 ninutes later so we couldn't shower until towels dryed Soap was super small No mat to stand on when getting out of the shower Price didnt fit the location and for to be and outside hotel
