Great time and place!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property was clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The room was adequate, but that’s the best I can say about it. It was loud, slamming doors constantly, the bed was uncomfortable, the carpets felt wet constantly, the AC was all over the place, and the front desk stopped my food delivery order from being delivered due to “safety.” Don’t stay here.

Room was not cleaned properly. We had to switch rooms.

I really have no complaints except there was no hot water the warm water reminded you of being hot it was almost warm never hot and I had a bad shoulder at the time I wanted to run some heat on it and to no avail I was going to contemplate staying another couple of days but instead we just left the next morning

1. On day of my check out, the ceiling above my bathroom was leaking all over. I I called the front desk twice and they keep hanging up the phone on me. I had to go down from the 10th floor to get to front desk to finally get help from the from desk. 2. My room was next to ice machine and the elevator, so much loud noise and chatting, it was hard to have rest night or day due to the noise. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life, I will never book anything that has the name Crown Plaza associated with it!

Room was clean, check in was easy. The only glitch was the parking garage pass and gate that wouldn't open.

Clean overall, easy access to garage, pool, etc., ice cold water stand was a life saver on the ground floor, and the restaurant was excellent - not only the service but the food.

Great location. Friendly staff. The bedding had a heavy cologne smell. Im sensitive to colognes and perfume but it was already late when I checked in after driving 5 hours I tried to ignore it. And it wasn't a laundry soap smell it was actually cologne.

Very clean and the staff are great!!! The only problem is the breakfast is too high $21 a person and it’s not worth it because it’s taste horrible.

I traveled for business and chose this location due to area. Hotel overall was “OK”. The hotel was a little dated. The room and hallway had an odd smell. The bathroom was in need of a good cleaning and/or a remodel. Bed was fair. The heat/air did not work well.

The staff greeted me smiles as soon as I walked in. They gave me plenty of information about parking and breakfast as well as assuring me that if I needed anything they were there to assist. The lobby was clean! The room was not as pictured. Upon walking in the room it had a bit of a stale smell (only way I know to describe it). A couple of the towels were badly stained.

I liked everything about the property.It was clean and the employees are friendly. What I didn't like was that there were people banging loudly on the door at 4 in the morning, which woke me up, and in the morning, I could hear doors being slammed.

It's location and a Big Name... but seriously disappointed. Zero Service, Rude Staff One of the worst hotel Management. They dishonoured the booking made through Booking.com for 3 nights, with Breakfast and a Parking spot. They forced me to pay for $ 34 for each Breakfast with below normal food and service. Also they charged $ 545 as against $ 272 offered by Booking.com. The staff on the receiption Ms. Kaylee debited my Credit Card with $ 545 instead of $ 272 without my consent. When asked she said this our rate and WE DO NOT HONOUR BOOKINGS MADE ON BOOKING.COM Another reception staff Mr. TANK was very Rude and asked SHOW ME THE BOOKINGS BREAK-DOWN where it is mentioned PARKING SPOT AND BREAKFAST. When we complained to the DUTY MANAGER she apologized and said that the EXCESS AMOUNT DEBITED will be REFUNDED TO THE CREDIT CARD and that DID NOT HAPPEN AS YET.

The room was the perfect size, clean, and convenient for my overnight stay. The staff was friendly, check in and check out was seamless. I would stay here again.

I had a great stay during my trip to Houston! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location, which made getting around the city super easy. The room was nice and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming. The staff was also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Houston. Highly recommend!

AC was locked on low so I had to use a fan , someone smoking mj on floor which lead to my vent into my room VERY SAD .. I guess u can’t go anywhere without smelling skunk , staff Lauren was so amazing very kind and helpful

The famous “Julio Margaritas” in the lobby bar were fantastic! Bartender, Julio, couldn’t have been nicer and made the best margarita!! Clean room, tasty breakfast, and friendly staff.

Yo everybody who work there is dope cool respectful and helpful. A few workers got a chance to try my Spring Water Thuggizzle Appalachian Mountain Spring Water and the little lady in the kitchen was a sweet lady. I can appreciate my Crown Plaza because my room was cleaned breakfast was on point staff was cool and the Air conditioner was always nice and cold. Everybody who works there deserves a raise 💯 #thuggizzle

Worst Crown Plaza I’ve ever seen. Elevator was even disgusting. Pool was shameful, went to take a shower and it wasn’t even clean hair etc on the bottom of the tub. Wouldn’t even shower. Front desk staff very pleasant. Bar staff I could tell didn’t want to be there. Breakfast was ok. Bed though was comfy. They. Desperately need to upgrade this property. Very run-down.

the pictures catfished me, the pictures are way nicer then what you really get. It’s definitely affordable and not completely terrible. It’s very basic and you walk in to a weird smell of muggy bleach in the lobby, interior has ok decor and the staff is super friendly so that’s a plus and no problems there. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from their small store because it’s extremely expensive for no reason. The rooms were also very basic and a tad ‘worn’ for lack of a better word. Showers were super hot I liked that and the bed was comfy. I’m from Michigan so I was here for dream con and seen a gigantic dead cockroach in the hallway next to the vending machine and that was hella gross, is that normal to see in the south? Definitely didn’t see any in the room, I TRIPLED checked lol. Pool seemed bigger in the photos but still wasn’t bad and my group had tons of fun in it. Wouldn’t book again but it was just Ok and Ok only. Breakfast sucked too so just go somewhere else to eat if you can! Definitely spend the money to be closer to dream con if you can, your directly on a highway and it’s kinda annoying to get places IMO. hope my review helps others.

The room was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were great. Breakfast was a nice bonus if it was included with your stay. The shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was convenient. I was also able to check in four hours early, which was a huge plus. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was outstanding, easily some of the best I’ve experienced at a hotel.

Just a very very bad overall experience. When I pulled up to check in first off I felt very unsafe. There were people that were sitting on sidewalks there were no spots to park to check in. I had to drive back around twice which you have to go all the way around the road like a circle and come back into park. When I finally checked in I got up to my room it smelled very bad, the toilet bowl had rings around it like it had not been cleaned in weeks. I called Dow stairs to get an iron for my clothes for the next day they said I had to wait until housekeeping got there the next day and did not have a time. I came in to town for a family member that was in the hospital there. That night I had some really bad news told the frontt desk I needed to check out would that be ok. They told me yes I asked for a receipt and they said that they would email me one. I received one for 129.19 and it showed credit which I never received back. The hotel told me about 150.00 insadental fee that i have not received back and they charged my card for 509.19 which i still don't know why because when i checked out they said i would not be charged the 2 other nights I did not stay. They also said I would be refunded for the night I likely stayed in the room 2 hours and checked out. I called hotels. Com and the crown plaza both and knowbody will give me answer at this time. I was told if I checked out there would be no issue at all of being refunded my money. I would like this resolved asap. Thank you

The hotel was amazing. The pool was smaller than expected. One thing that no one mentioned about parking..it was $25 a night to park. No where is that mentioned. My wife met me there with her car and we had to pay for both cars to park. When I checked out personally, I was not provided a receipt for all my charges!

We had air conditioning issues. No fans were available. Receptionist had attitude.

The room was clean for the most part. The property could use some upgrades and maintenance. For example the ligh over the room doors were dated and discolored. The elevator was slow and felt like it was unstable at times.

The Crowne Plaza Houston Medical Center-Galleria Area by IHG is a great place to stay for those who plan to visit Houston attractions located in the Upper Kirby, Rice University, Medical Center, River Oaks, Montrose, and Galleria areas of town. The continental breakfast and other amenities make the stay quite enjoyable. Compared to similar hotels, the Crowne Plaza is affordable and inviting.

The hotel was fine and I'd stay again but not thru the online travel agency - no way.

I had a problem making the air conditioning work in the fitness center.

The room had an awful smell. I paid $50 for early check in, mind you their check in times was 4PM.

The AC stopped working around 6am. I woke up all sweaty. Call from desk, started working 30 minutes later and before check out time same thing. They might be doing that for people to wake up and leave early. Not cool

Bathroom light on the mirror didn’t , only one side. The elevator didn’t work so we had to pack everything to the third floor, i told the front desk Friday and nothing happened. The breakfast wasn’t nothing but cereal bars and a banana. Back in 2018 and 2020 this place was my favorite . It is is directly a two min walk to the mall though. No tissue in the room just an empty box.

Travelers.....if you have an issue with your reservation and try to change your stay dates forget it. ABSOLUTELY NO CONSIDERATION FOR TRAVELERS OR TRAVEL CONDITIONS. I needed to change my stay dates (CHANGE, NOT CANCEL) and got nothing more than a cold shoulder NO!!!! I would have been better served by shooting myself in the foot and spending my time in Houston in the hospital.

Were dated, the microwave and refrigerator looked to be beyond their shelf life. I stayed in the suite and expected much nicer amenities in the furniture and kitchenette area. This could be an amazing place but they do not seem interested in the very basic updates. A mini fridge is less than $250 and it would go along way in presentation. Microwaves are less than a $100 and would also go a long way.

The room was clean but sparse. Bathroom room amenities towels, tissues etc were portion controlled. 4-6 tissues in the dispenser. Had to ask 2x for extra towels. Couldn't get an extra blanket. The refrigerator & the air conditioner to be replaced. However they did offer a complimentary breakfast. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions.

The place need’s upgraded. Staff was great, but there was no television service in the entire hotel. That is unacceptable. Overall, not up to the standards of a Crowne Plaza property.

The property was close to where I needed to be and didn't take me long to get to where I was the reason I was there the only bad thing it rains pretty much every day.

I always stay here when i have to come into town for my doctors appointments. Staff is always friendly and its always clean and comfy! I do wish the parking was free or at least a little cheaper.

This was the absolute worst stay I have ever had at any hotel ever. I am consulting an attorney to sue this place. Where to even start? First off we got to the property and we met the woman that every bad review mentions. Nikki should absolutely be fired she is nice nasty. She asked me my name and then immediately tried to charge my card, there was no breakdown of charges or notification of the attempt. She then asked if my card was locked and that's the only reason I knew she had already attempted. I was given misinformation about the deposit and since their staff is inconsistent about the policy let me just inform you that it is $50 a night...not $200 like they will try to tell you. We stayed 7 days our deposit came out to $350. Ms. Nikki must not have liked the conversation at that point because she literally put us in the dirtiest room she could find. The bathroom was nasty and the bed was hard and had broken springs so of course we went back and requested another room. This room had better beds and was at least somewhat clean. We were then continuously charged EVERY night for parking although we were told it it would come out of my $350 deposit. I locked my card and transferred my money after the first night so none of the attempted charges went through. I notified management who said they would stop authorization but the attempts kept happening. I called again and was told they would just refund me the $350. They lied and kept the money. This hotel is worse than Motel 6
