Great location. Clean and well designed. The pool was clean and safe The coffee availability was very limited. It was not readily available in the morning
- 5/5
Decent room for the money.
- 4/5
The property was nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. However, the hotel had one Elevator down and the other grinded to a halt on the third floor. The ice machine was not working and our bathroom door was missing a handle. The pool was cloudy. Although we did not take advantage of the restaurants they smelled good and had a continuous flow of guests. The hotel was very convenient to my seminar location. I would stay again.

I was in room 101 accessible for disability. Room smelled awful very strong smell like vomit. Room smelled awful like vomit!

Clean warm place to stay Need USB ports to charge phones

Very convenient to heb grocery store and restaurants. Shuttle only runs on weekdays within a 3 mile radius. Very comfortable bed
- 5/5
The bed was so comfortable I slept through whole 4th of July :) didn’t see the fireworks. The fact that I slept so comfortably my boyfriend went to go party.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is 5-star and world-class. Breakfast was great!
- 2.5/5
-rooms were very humid at night despite being set low -bathroom ceiling had mold -bathroom shower floor was gross -random holes/big chips in paint -breakfast - woman was alone, reminded us multiple times how short staffed they were, food was below average

Location near stadium

Exceptional
- 4/5
Bed are super comfortable the only is that they did not have toiletries
- 1/5
The room smelled like mothballs, and I found black mold in the bathroom. The AC unit was extremely loud and made sleeping difficult. They also added parking fees to my final bill after confirming with them that I did not have a car parked during check-in. Make sure to check your bill when leaving, the same thing happened to a person checking out after me.
- 1.5/5
Staff were all very nice and friendly. Cannot say the room was as nice as the staff. If we didn't need to ck out at 6:30 the following morning, I would have asked for another room. The room had a terrible stale smell, air did not work that well and the filter was dirty. All and all the room was dank and it was difficult to say if it was clean because it needed some major upgrades, I could not get past the smell. One positive only...the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was horrible. My food was hard and cold. They told they would refund but did not. I had to wait a very long time for my breakfast because they were understaffed. Clean room, location was okay but you still need a car to go everywhere, business friendly.
- 3/5
There was a pool and hot tub...room was a good size and a nice shower. Staff was nice. Found a dead roach in the room. Looked like there was a water leak at some point based on the ceiling. Too pricey for the quality of the room.

Musty smell in room, old building
- 4/5
Restaurant closed. Bistro not fully stocked. All Staff were Great to make stay better.
- 5/5
Fantastic experience staying at this hotel. Staff was great! Bed was very comfortable! I will stay here again!
- 3/5
Waited over 10 minutes for coffee at the Starbucks downstairs and housekeeping didn’t make up room. On the plus side, good location and large room.
- 4.5/5
People were so helpful esp MJ at the front desk. Nothing
- 3/5
Food availability after 7 pm was poor. Items we received were bland at best. We requested food for our room and we had to pick it up at front desk. It was cold and incomplete requiring a second trip to front desk. Not much thought or effort put into menu or preparation. You can do better Marriott!
- 4/5
The room was clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would stay there again. The Silk Road restaurant was a good option - the food was good and the service was quite good as well.
- 2/5
The couch bed had blood stains on it and 2 of my guest had to sleep on the floor. I complained to manager and NOTHING was done about it.
- 4/5
Stayed here in the past and Courtyard is now charging for parking! Had issues with air conditioning but we figured it out.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous. Room clean.
- 2/5
BISTRO IS HORRIBLE!!!! Poorly staffed, poor food selection, staff rarely there and apparently unable to make coffee correctly
- 2/5
Horrible service; BISTRO was rarely staffed and they NEVER had the food on the menu. They couldn’t make a coffee to save their life and putting a Starbucks nabe on it is completely disingenuous.
- 3/5
it was ok

Everything was fine
- 4/5
the vanity light over the sink was burned out. The hotel has a charge for parking.
- 4/5
Super friendly staff
- 3/5
My room had no hot water in the shower. And the room smelled like a sewer. I reported it and they said thank you for letting us know. The problems still existed to the time that I checked out.
- 2/5
My stay started rocky and quickly declined. When I arrived, I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the receptionist sat in the office on her cell phone. I later found out she was the supervisor, who also had a guest inside of the office after 10 PM. When I checked out they double charged me incidentals and never informed me that the parking had a fee. When I called to find out about the charges, the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional, even cutting me off midsentence. Terrible experience and I will be telling everyone I know not to stay here. Completely unacceptable.
- 2/5
My disappointments with the property were the beds, which were uncomfortable, and the water pressure for the shower was very weak. This property still has tubs, which makes it cumbersome to get into and leads to leaking of the shower onto the bathroom floor. These are the two most important features for me in hotel rooms. I don't believe I will be returning to this property
- 5/5
Nice, comfortable hotel.
- 2/5
The A/C was not functioning correctly and they even gave us another room to try that also had a poor functioning A/C. We decided to muscle through but got a terrible night sleep, which was the main reason we chose the hotel, we needed a location close to our conference for a good night sleep.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and easy access to MD Anderson
- 4/5
Not loud, clean , nice staff
- 5/5
A very fine and meticulously clean place to stay.
- 4/5
Comfortable. Weird stain in bath, perhaps someone was coloring their hair. Did not have cleaning service show up. Breakfast choices were minimal, not where I want to start my day. Was surprised about the parking fee since I did not notice it in paperwork with Hotels.com. Overall nice stay, good location.
- 3/5
Pool was closed. Lots of construction mess
- 5/5
Staff very friendly
- 1/5
Avoid at all costs and do not pay for breakfast. When we arrived, hotel did not have the room we had paid for, which two beds, and we had to get a different room with a single bed and then change half-way through. Breakfast was inedible. They had parfaits which were expired and moldy. Like, full mold growth. They made eggs which were so tough and rubbery we literally could not cut them with a metal knife or chew through. They only had one person on staff who had to take the order and then run back and cook the order, which meant there was no one at the front for 30 minutes at a time. good luck getting a single coffee if you're in a hurry.
- 4/5
Though the property is pretty good, it’s not eco-friendly. Not a single recycling receptacle on the property
- 5/5
It was amazing and the people were friendly.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly
- 5/5
Hottub was broken. Front desk staff are friendly. Comfortable beds.
- 3/5
Very nice people and clean but not a welcoming lobby area or entrance. The rooms are very basic and the ac heater was a bit noisy. The staff was wonderful but I would not stay here again for four days.
- 5/5
Super clean
- 3/5
Under construction
- 5/5
I had a relaxing stay over Xmas.
- 4/5
Staff was great - very friendly and accommodating. First floor is being completely renovated so there is no restaurant and lobby area. During the day, there is construction noise although they inform you about this upon arrival.
- 4/5
This property is under severe reconstruction. Stay away until work is completed.
- 3/5
We have stayed here before but this time they were under construction/renovation--something not shared when we booked. We were told 8-5 construction but on the first night, they were directly overhead drilling at 6pm. It was unlivable. They should have never put us in a room directly below that. It woke me up the next morning and continued for 2 days of our 5 day stay. The other 3 days without overhead construction were fine. I would seriously consider not staying here again, even though it was very convenient to our family.
- 2/5
I booked this to take my mother for an eye surgery. My sister said this at check-in. We needed a room for her to stay post surgery and before her doctor visit the next day. They put us in a room right next to construction going on without telling them. On Friday, I begged hotels.com to help. The attendant tried, but she had no luck. Then I tried with the front desk, and had no luck either. The front desk woman said there was nothing she could do. We couldn’t move my mom due to her surgery. Construction was terrible during 2:00-5:00 PM. Upon checkout, I told another person at the hotel that we were never supposed to have that room. She said they put medical procedure patients in other rooms. She apologized. If I had seen the construction notification, I would have never chosen this property for my mom to stay at for rest. She lives 3 hours away and had to stay overnight in Houston. I picked a location that was close to her surgery center and had good reviews, As a Bonvoy member, I always limit my picks to Marriott properties. I’m rethinking this strategy going forward. It was an overall terrible experience with the exception of the woman who checked us out.
- 5/5
Close to river oaks area.
- 3/5
Construction was very noisy. Very limited food available because the kitchen wasn’t working. Staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful.
- 2/5
Charged for parking you do not get daily room service coffee maker did not work
- 5/5
Recently remodelled...Rooms are great
- 5/5
Decent hotel to stay for a day at max
- 3/5
The hotel lobby has a smell of sewer. They try to cover it up with air fresheners but you can still smell it. They charge you $15 for parking which is not secure at all.
- 3/5
The breakfast is not a usual breakfast .There is just a sandwich and juice .The same every day. Or you can take an orange instead of juice .There is no buffet breakfast and no dinner .They did not mention on hotels.com about that. No restaurant or Starbucks near in the area. It's quiet if the room is on the back of the building. The beds are comfortable. Very nice bathroom with an average amenities .Staff is friendly. Pool is located in the hotel next door. Parking is free.
- 3/5
It took 3 tries before a room that was clean was found. The first 2 still had dirty towels on the floor and trash in the room. I have never had this happen to me. Not just one room, but 2 times the room they assigned had not been cleaned after last person.
- 5/5
Very nice and comfortable stay :)
- 1/5
They declined to give credit for the remainder of the stay claiming we were offered alternative. They clearly showed that they didn't care about the customers and that they were in the business of making money.
- 5/5
The front desk ladies were very nice. The hotel also smelt so good!
- 4/5
Checking in was a breeze and when we arrived at our room it was clean and comfortable. However there was a mildew smell our entire stay, which didn’t bother me after the first few hours, but my friend said it was too much. She didn’t want to be a bother and ask to switch rooms. There was a leak right outside our door and a bucket full of water, maybe that led to the smell? Pool was closed for renovations, every time we passed the Bistro in the lobby it was empty/closed. Overall it was a clean, spacious room and we didn’t have any issues with the bathroom, tv, or ac. I actually slept super well. Wish there wasn’t a smell and there were more available amenities, but we spent most of our time out and about anyway. Good for the price.
- 5/5
Loved the hotel. My only issue is with the parking lot only having about 25 parking spots.
- 3/5
The internet didn’t work
- 5/5
Friendly staff clean
- 3/5
A bit dissatisfied, no shuttle bus, pay for undercover and unsafe parking +tax..tv wasn’t working properly, call front desk to report issue (without any luck) never answered the phone..desk clerk wasn’t really helpful..
- 5/5
Very nice stay. Everything was great
- 2/5
Breakfast options are Starbucks only, plus some snacks.
- 1/5
I gave them a bad review because our flight was canceled and they refused to work with me on a refund I gave them. Notice before my stay and they refused to do anything for us. They could have refunded part of the stay. Never staying at any courtyard or marriot property again.
- 5/5
Our stay was very wonderful! Front desk was nice upon greeting and checking in and out we had zero issues, and we basically had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves which was really nice as well, the room was nice and clean the bed however is very firm but still comfy but definitely would stay again!!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with a quiet setting. Near the freeway, medical center area, and plenty of restaurants

Great place
- 5/5
The night manager, Christian, was wonderfully pleasant & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. I do recommend staying here.
- 3/5
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is great and the room was clean. However, the bed was probably the worst I’ve ever slept on, it was hard and very uncomfortable. Also, there were not usb connections for charging technology.
- 5/5
Christian Moore was awesome. It was obvious he has a passion for service to his guest. Great job Christian
- 5/5
Staff was amazing! Clean room and extra accommodations
- 5/5
Comfortable bed, clean rooms. Very personal service.
- 5/5
I really appreciated the warmth of the staff and how friendly they were
- 4/5
Located well
- 5/5
I’m not sure why there was a parking charge as there wasn’t an attendant.
- 5/5
We picked courtyard due to shuttle but we can’t stay again as or test start at 7 am and shuttle.do not start till 7 am.
- 5/5
Courtesy of the receptionists. They were very good and responsive.
- 2/5
My stay was for 3 nights. I didn't understand why my room wasn't cleaned after the 1st night. They said for multiple night stays they clean every other day. Nowhere did it notate that in Expedia. So we had over flowing garbage in our room which made it unpleasant. There was no blow dryer in the bathroom but they were able to provide 1. The rolling office chair was broken but they were able to replace it. The bed was extremely hard & uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay there again.
- 5/5
Raven at the check in desk was efficient & polite.
- 3/5
Just had a few issues. Was staying with my son who needed the shuttle to go back and forth to MD Anderson Cancer Center, which was great (Harry was awesome!) however since being short a driver we could only utilize it till 3 pm. Did not care for the cashless policy. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
The first room I had the shower didn’t work. Moved to a second room, hot water in sink, no hot water in the shower. Had to wash my hair in the small sink, but the shampoos were mounted on the wall in the shower so I had to set my hair, walk in the shower to get shampoo, rinse, back to shower for conditioner.. not good
- 5/5
Entrance was dirty and smelly from garbage can outside front door. Something had leaked out of the garbage can and had dried all over the concrete. Concrete needs to be power washed and cleaned. Everything else was very clean.
- 5/5
Great two night stay. The hotel was awesome and the staff was also!
- 5/5
I liked everything, good stay and I recommend this place.
- 5/5
I booked the room for my nephew and his family. They enjoyed their stay and we're pleased with their room and breakfast.
- 2/5
We didn’t get the two separate double beds that we chose online
