Courtyard by Marriott Houston Medical Center/NRG Park

Location was just what the doctor ordered. Medical procedure in the morning and hospital/clinic was a half a block away. Slept most of the next day with no interruptions.

The onsite Bistro was great and had the best chicken wings I’ve had in years. The bartender was so friendly. The premises was clean and modern and parking was easy.

Very clean and beds were so comfortable! The staff was not together on anything. I had to extend my stay but I had to go through the hotel to keep the same room. They gave me a price of $114 but I got a call today and was told that was incorrect it would be $146. That’s pretty sad when the first 2 nights were $92. It seems like they need to do some training.

Room smelled musty, elevators were out had to use services elevator breakfast was expensive at a so called restaurant at the hotel. First to stay at a Marriott property will stick with Hilton. Very disappointed.

It is a medical center hotel--I could not get in the bathtub. One small soap for two people No lotion Not enough washcloths No amenities No real restaurant

There is no makeup mirror Could not get hot water in the shower Refrigerator is only big enough to hold a sandwich or two, don’t plan on putting your cold drinks in there.. there is a microwave. If you plan to take a bath in the tub, be sure if you have any physical challenges that you ask for a handicap room. This is a fairly dated to shop arrangement with you. Handrails available for someone in the tub. You also can’t control the direction of the showerhead. If you don’t like the heavy comforters, which we don’t, because we get too hot, be sure to tell them when you book your room and ask for a blanket instead. TV: when you turn on the TV, it’s larger to be extremely loud and you’ll need to put it on mute until you figure out what station you want to watch then you will probably need to turn it up really high again in order to hear it. I will get feedback on this hotel. And finally, be sure to check out on time. There is a hefty, and I mean hefty fee for checking out late. Be sure to read the sign on the back of your door for the amount. other than that, my room is beautiful.

Husband I stayed here during our visit to Houston for the World Cup. Hotel was absolutely great. Staff, amenities, lobby, decor, everything. Would absolutely stay here again!

Came here to watch a world cup game and stayed here. Staff is incredible like incredible always willing to help and so friendly hotel was always clean and well kept. Lobby is great as well. Would definitely recommend

My husband and I have stayed several times at this Courtyard by Marriott when we have had medical conditions and have had to be at the Hospital or Dr. appointments very early the next morning. We highly recommend this hotel. It is very well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. We have never had any problems staying here and it is very close to the Medical center, NRG stadium and everything else that you might need.

Couldn’t have enjoyed my stay more. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast from the coffee bar was truly outstanding (make sure you include it in your reservation). Would definitely stay here again.

The lobby, elevator and room itself were very clean; however, the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. I found hair on linens that didn’t belong to me and hairs in the tub. I had to wipe it down before using it.

We come every 3 months and our hotel was full due to the rodeo so we decided to stay here. Checkin was good staff was sweet, lobby was nice but once we got in the elevator and to the 3rd floor it started smelling like sewer and the floor “carpet” was so dirty like it needed to be vacuumed. We entered room 328 and the room was okay old but okay. Once we got in the bed it was so HARD like laying on a board. We were so upset not getting any sleep!! let me tell you we had a hard time making my appointments at MD from no sleep. So this one will be off our schedule for our next trip. Do better courtyard by Marriott.! The price was $289 for one night I feel like I got robbed!!

Very nice hotel and staff was very friendly

Overall a pleasant stay, my only issue being the drive out as the sidewalk at one of the entrances was almost completely destroyed.

Because it’s a Starbucks hotel, there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. In short, not terrible, nice on the surface, lacking beneath. Meh.

The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. However, a/c was never as cold as thermostat showed. Woke up several times during night hot and uncomfortable. Which was a shame as had to be at hospital early the next morning for surgery.

The shower needs to have something on the floor so it's not slippery.

This property is awesome exclamation point it was a little difficult to find as the sign is very small, but it is well worth the effort to locate it. The lobby is beautiful smells great and decorated in contemporary style. The front desk staff whisper pleasant and only took a few moments to check in. She was also very helpful with suggestions of local eateries. The room is fantastic. It is very large and the walk-in shower is the largest one I’ve seen so far and there were so many towels and washcloths, and they were all soft lots of toilet paper too. The air conditioner works wonderfully, and our room is nice and cool if we are ever in this area again, we will definitely book a stay here.

The property seems to be well kept and clean. The sign from the road is a little low and covered by foliage, though. Other than that, it was fine.

Stay was nice. One incident with a tint byg on the pillow next to mine. Killed it and removed pillowcase from pillow. Otherwise no issues.

This was not a good experience for 600/ night. To inflate the rate 3x of the room is insane but then the room smelled like feet and smoke, the sink was cracked, and broken elevator buttons was not worth the price. Breakfast was not even included in that rate. Staff offered to reimburse me some money for the awful room and never did and couldn't move me due to capacity and didn't apologize. I don't like dishonesty and won't stay there again.

We checked in on Friday, June 13th the staff that was working that day/weekend were extremely friendly. It was nice to be greeted with a friendly smile as well. We especially liked the fact that a shuttle was available to drop us off at the NRG Stadium. We will definitely stay at the Courtyard Marriott next time we visit Houston, Tx . Highly recommend.

This property is close to the medical complex but not worth the money, there are much better options.

The mattress was as uncomfortable as any I've ever slept on. Was out of my room by 9-9:30, removed my do not disturb sign and still no one came back to clean the three nights I stayed there.

I had a great stay. Wasn’t able to get my original room at first but they switched me instantly the next day. The staff was great. Houston is a very nice city. Plan on visiting again and staying at this same hotel.

Parking was easy. There is a restaurant onsite including Starbucks drinks. Staff was friendly at the restaurant but it was hit or miss with the front desk staff. Overall, things looked clean and the location is very convenient. Will likely stay again.

They check in for the second stay was a lot more pleasant as the guest services. Individual was very pleasant and accommodated an early check-in and even provided the same room that we just checked out of. However, upon returning later that evening, we were very disappointed that the bar was not open, and we never really noticed the bar ever was open. So that was very disappointing that we could not return and enjoy a drink at the end of the evening. One of the highlights of booking this hotel was the bar and restaurant. I am pleased that the guest services over the evening did accompany my daughter outside to wait for the Uber driver to deliver food and I very much appreciate that as this was the middle of the night at 2 AM and she did not want a young girl waiting by herself outside. Overall, the state was pleasant And I’d probably return if some of the options were more available like the restaurant and bar.
