This hotel stay was nothing shy of amazing. 1 night stay to hang out with some girlfriends and have a nice dinner for restaurant week. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to my needs. I will definitely be back. The weather was rainy on my day of arrival so I am looking forward to coming back so I can enjoy that beautiful amenitie..

My bed had fleas, which made the stay unacceptable. I was only there for about five hours from check‑in to check‑out, yet I still had difficulty obtaining a refund. The staff was friendly and respectful, but I’m not sure why they were unwilling to refund my stay given the circumstances.

Nothing The only thing was decent was Ms Chelsea, she was able to help me with verify that I was double charged. And let me check into my room. But the room was the wrong one. I reserve a king size but I got two queens. I just left the hotel n told the staff I’m leaving. Being double charged for the wrong room. Didn’t sit right with me.

The room didn’t smell clean. It had a clean appearance and the staff was friendly but the room smelled like people. It made me think maybe the sheets weren’t changed. The breakfast sandwich I ate here wasn’t very good. It was on a hamburger bun which I thought was a little weird. Bacon was overcooked.

They were sold out and found a room for me that was being serviced and would be available soon. Great AC in common areas and the room. I will stay there again.

Location, security, cleanliness. The facility was well maintained inside and out. We were pleased with the appearance of the facility. The room contained features that we were pleased with. The parking was secure. Only problem was there was an additional fee to park.

Front desk staff was superior

Nice room, but bathroom door wouldn’t stay open (not hung level). Good hotel, starting to show usage and age.

The room had a musty smell. Like it had been sitting for a while. Other than that everything was good.

The noise was around 3am was the only issue I had during my stay. The hotel is beautiful, staff was very professional, and location was centrally located to all of my ventures while visiting the city.

Beware this hotel conducts bait and switch with lodging fees. Manager refused to honor the quoted price, increased it by $100 A night; also refused the elderly couple after me the AAA discount. I asked several guests their rates for the same night which ranged from $120 to $250. This is the second Marriott to do bait and switch.

Very nice close to downtown

The private nooks with tv. Bar and breakfast area were to exposed, not comfortable.

The $20 per night parking fee.

The staff was pleasant, the room clean and comfortable. The one drawback is all of the construction in the area, this has been going for a long time.

Facilities were great but front desk manager was on a power trip. Forget about asking her about a breakdown of room charges, she will yell at you. I’ll choose a different Marriott next time.

No breakfast

Great hotel have stayed there many times. Always friendly staff and clean rooms. Only issue this time is construction on I-10 which goes on 24/7 right now. Our last night it sounded like someone was knocking on our door all night long. Hotel did leave a pair of complimentary ear plugs on the night stand!

It was great. Clean, easy to get around and park, the bar and food options were nice too.

Easy check-in/out. The rooms were clean and it was a good location if you’re exploring Houston.

The bed was pretty lumpy. I've stayed there before and never experienced an uncomfortable bed before. Everything else was good.

Customer service was great, and parking was easy. There’s a convenient restaurant on the grounds, and the candy at the counter during check-in and check-out was a nice touch. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets were fresh. The view of downtown was beautiful—especially at sunrise and sunset. I didn’t hear much noise from the freeway and slept very well.

Great just lack of parking

I also was not happy with the way the bed looked. Although I believe the sheets were fresh, they could have been put on before they were so wrinkled. Not an appealing sight.

The hotel and everything was very clean, no concern there. The issue was with how loud the AC was. We turned off the local unit to reduce the noise, but there is some general AC that you can't control (as they explained us at the reception), that was so loud it was simply ridiculous. When we complained, they told us there is nothing to do, and that all rooms are like that (even though we asked to check a few just in case and potentially change the room, but the receptionist didn't want to do it). Really bad experience, so we simply left after one night even though we had two nights booked.

The location was great. The pool bordered the interstate. That was very noisy.

This hotel is showing its age. Rooms are nothing special, and it doesn’t seem like anything has been updated in years. Most disappointing was the room’s air conditioning unit. It was very loud and would cycle on and off during the night, making it difficult to sleep. And the room would cycle between cold and hot depending on whether the unit was on or not. Bottom line — at this price point, there are better options.

Well,the room was clean, I was happy to see my name on the television and someone made the effort to welcome it was fabulous.

Loved the room! Spacious and the loveseat was perfect for watching TV. Bathroom was large enough to handled both our toiletries at the same time.

The property was very clean and quiet. The staff was helpful with my needs. The room looked like it did on the picture and had all the amenities.

I booked a suite at this hotel for the night before and after my wedding. I specifically told cleaning staff that my bridesmaids and I would be getting ready there and we would be leaving at 3pm. They told me they would clean my room after then and said it would be no problem. When my husband and I walked into the room was exactly how my bridesmaids and I had left it. The trash wasn’t taken out. The beds weren’t made. The towels weren’t changed. Bags of food we left to be taken were still there. The room smelled like food. Disappointing to say the least. When I called for a possible room switch, I was told there are no more rooms available and “it’s really crazy they didn’t clean your room I don’t know why they would do that.” I was also told that my husband and I could come and grab clean towels from downstairs. I was clearly upset, and left note of this with the front desk personnel the next morning and asked to speak with a manager, but they told me no one was on site and they would have someone reach out. Over a week later and that has yet to happen and Ofcourse they already took their money. Extremely disappointed with Courtyard and this location for how they treated us on our wedding night, which resulted in us cleaning our own room. Had it not been for how exhausted we were, we would have drove home. The best thing about this hotel was the convenience of location, but there is plenty of construction in the area making it difficult to find for some. Tread lightly.

The receptionist never mentioned the charge to use the garage. Could have parked on the outside on the road

This place is NOT exceptional. It is the bare minimum. Its fine. But nothing more than a 3 put of 5

Overall, i had a good stay. Very nice lady that served Starbucks in the morning. Clean safe facility. Only issue was the gentleman that checked us in wasn’t super friendly or informative. He didn’t explain the parking garage and it made it a challenge to get into the hotel after parking. A few seconds of explanation would have been helpful.

Would also like to have lotion in the rooms.

Clean, great neighborhood, loved our stay

One of the roads leading out from the hotel was blocked due to construction. A little noisy due to the highway nearby.

Room is made up only every other day - at these prices, should be every day with option to retain towels for sustainability. Our room wasn’t made up for our entire 3 night stay. The bistro is convenient and excellent. Great location for visiting in the Heights. We’ll be back but disappointed in the housekeeping.

Kudos to the front desk staff! I used to work in the casino/hotel industry for years and know that how your guests are treated upon arrival often sets the tone for the stay. The only personal concern I had was the mattress had no firmness left in it and for someone with a bad back, I definitely paid the price in the morning. Otherwise everything was spotless.
