Nothing stood out. The shuttle has restricted pickup times and restricted pick up location. The TV is not smart. Not allowed to see Netflix or any other smart app. The mattress sucks. It sinks fron where i slept. I was on the third floor. The breakfast is DOG quality. Nothing is good. There was an oatmeal i tried only. I am not sure if the milk inside the oatmeal is any good but i had to eat something. The bedroom windows cannot be opened for fresh air. I was not impressed by the shower at all. The location is on Kennedy blvd which is where almost all the other hotels are located so not bad. Overall feels like a graveyard not a hotel.

The breakfast was ok, the room was excellent and the air was wonderful and helpful i was lost a little bit they were kind to redirected me in the direction. nothing really was there not to like every thing was just good on good, this was my first time in Huston i really enjoyed my one night. i got a good night rest, waking refreshed ready to move off again.

The breakfast had the usual grain products, but also included hash browns and sausage as well as yogurt (although not plain). The room is nice and it is very spacious.

We had a last minute stay because our flight had delayed 40 hours so we had to find a hotel near by. I did like that it was really close to the airport, but it does need some extra cleaning or remodeling. Maybe removing the carpet because it smelled a little old. There was also something on our bed. Looked like a spider. I'm not sure if it was my frustration of being delayed for so long that made it a bad stay. I was finding everything annoying.

Staff were great and room seemed to be cleaned up until there were roaches in them! First room the lock latch was off the hinges so immediately got put in another room. That room had roaches and I kept room cleaned and had to ask to be cleaned as well due to me booking a 5 night stay. Once I seen it was roaches got in a new room which seemed to be cleaned only for me to walk around in that room and see a small roach in the tub she checked out early and got my money back! Never going back there because kids and I never had roaches back home and wasn’t going to go through that at a hotel stay!!

I felt it offered great value for the price.

Breakfast was great. The room was filled with bugs, the bed sheets and blankets had ticks on them. I found cockroaches crawling in the bathroom and on the walls. The pillow cases were extremely dirty, had brown stains (looked like mud maybe).

The staff was helpful and friendly, our room was very large, everything was clean and comfortable. Very close to the airport. We reserved a crib and it wasn't in the room when we got there. Not a big deal though bc the clerk went and found one for us.

I highly recommend this hotel. Hotel was maintained well and the shuttle drivers were very informative and prompt. The only thing that would be nice is that there be a little more of a selection for the breakfast, maybe some danish, bagels or fruit.

When we arrived we scheduled the 6am airport shuttle for departure 3 days later. On the morning of the shuttle it wasn't booked. The staff (different from checkin) that morning told us it can only be booked 24 hrs beforehand. We were left scrambling at 5:45am

Great hotel for one day night stay to catch a flight. I gave 4 stars just b/c the property is old. It would be nice to see them upgrade the carpet due to the semi musty smell. Staf and shuttle were great!!

Rooms

The room was very large and had a large sofa. The main problem is the jets landing and taking off all night. The hotel is near the North/South runway which is used for larger aircraft making international flights. More weight, more fuel and people, larger planes and engines.

Friendly staff, clean room, good variety at continental breakfast.

This was a great and convenient place to stay overnight. A little outdated but, very well kept. Staff was wonderful and helpful upon arrival and departure

Didnot eat breakfast

Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, sausage and ham, biscuits and gravy. Oatmeal and waffles. Cold offerings were hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and milk. The juice machine didn’t have OJ, only grape, apple and lemonade. Coffee and hot water available but no decaf. No fruit offered. The cutlery was almost unusable: I broke 2 forks trying to cut my waffle and the plastic serrated knife was so flimsy it wouldn’t cut the waffle at all. Recommend upgrade to better plastic cutlery. The motel is older and reflects wear and tear; our toilet barely flushed and sometimes stuck running. Probably should replace the flushing mechanism in room 103.

However airport shuttle was big disappointment. I had very specifically requested for shuttle drop and on the day of checkout, I had come down 20 mins before appointed time. Even after 20 mins past specified tie, there was no sight of shuttle. I had no option to take Uber costing me nearly $ 20 for a short distance. Very poorly managed front desk - despite my repeated requests, the person did not follow up with shuttle driver.

It was a quick stop enroute to airport. I checked out at 3 am and found the night clerk to be very helpful.

Check in and out was easy, breakfast was good, shuttle was on time and comfortable, room was clean.

Couldn’t get the alarm clock to work. The mattress and bedding was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Kind front desk and free shuttles to the airport. Confort bed and very soft bedsheets

For pick up in the evening you must call for the shuttle which is a bit of a hassle if you don't have roaming for the US. And if course the pay phones have long since been removed from the airport.

It was clear that this hotel caters to those with travel vouchers and doesn’t really offer anything special to their guests. Check in was a little rough, and the hotel lobby feels cluttered.

Biggest problem was airport shuttle. Took almost an hour to get to hotel. Getting back to the airport was better but shuttle took off 25 minutes before scheduled time. Fortunately we were in the lobby

Spoke with reservation line and front desk before booking and was told my 19 yr old daughter could check in after midnight (flight got pushed). She got there and was not allowed to check in. And they still charged my card for the room.

Everything was perfect except for the shuttle doesn't run early enough. I have to pay 65 dollars for a ride to the airport.

Room looks clean but I found someone used my room bathroom for peep before I could check in and did not flush :). Otherwise room was clean and smell could have been better.

The hotel was rundown and not clean, room had roaches. The only good thing is it's right by the airport, but they need to exterminate this entire hotel and sanitize.

Room needed to be aired out. It has a musty, moldy smell to it. Guests let their kids play in the hallways and cry, disturbing other guests. These same guests let their children knock and kick on walls almost till midnight.

We had a paid reservation through expedia. Upon arrival, we were not even greeted with a "hello." But barked at with "we have no rooms." I politely said we had a reservation. And was rudely met with "what I'm telling you is we have no rooms." And yet, the next person that walked in, got a room. The customer service was POOR. I was told they would "try" to get me refund. Well of course, if you aren't giving me a room, I need a refund. I ended up paying for two extra ubers unnecessary since I was not given a room. The entire exprience was TERRIBLE.

The Gentleman that helped me checking in. Very helpful and told me about surrounding areas to eat that would deliver. I did not get his name but very helpful and polite!

Staff was very friendly and helpful but no hot water.

Upon arrival the desk clerk could only find one reservation. I had to pay at the desk for a room that Expedia had already charged me for. I showed my Expedia receipt to the clerk and he still charged me for my second room

I only stayed in this hotel because my flight was delayed and I missed my layover. The hotel was in a good location with easy walking distance to good food. It was a comfortable place to stay, but the breakfast was not gluten-free friendly.

Better breakfast than expected!

They put me by the elevator and it was so loud I count sleep all night.

Yesterday I check in the room key maker was not working so I did not get a key to my room until this morning on the day of check and I slip and fell on there wet floor because the y did not have any sign up telling people that the foffered to call ambulance and I was told if I go by ambulance that my car would be towed at my expense Whst a joke

The couches in the lobby and in my room were heavily stained. The fixture on the bathroom sink was very loose. The toilet kept running after each flush. Didn’t realize the hotel was so old and won’t be booking with them again for that reason.

Very kind and efficient reception. TV wasn’t working in the room so he quickly switched us to a new room.

Grounds need sprucing up. Otherwise, very friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, and it was quiet. Would stay again (in fact, we’ve already reserved another night later this month).

We missed our connecting flight so had to stay in a hotel overnight before our rescheduled flight the next morning. I was able to make it for the same evening. It was very easy to book and the front desk made it a good experience.

This was an interesting stay. Once you have made your reservation they then inform you that you will have to call once you have arrived at your designated area for them to send the shuttle for you. We were unable to get through until our third attempt and then was informed that the shuttle would be on the way. 45 minutes later I called back and was told that I would receive a call back letting me know how far away the driver was. About an hour in the driver showed up. We arrived in terminal C and the instructions stated we needed to travel to terminal A or B. Well on the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Terminal C to pick up another passenger... When we arrived there was one attendant up front, Gustavo. He ended up checking in all 6 groups as well as answering the phone, multiple times, to ensure people that the shuttle was on the way and that they were waiting in the correct spot as well as checking out people who were purchasing food from the motel "store". I would like to commend Gustavo for everything that he was doing. It took 1.5 hours to get checked in from the original call, but that poor guys was doing everything but driving the shuttle.

The hotel desk clerk was very professional and helpful.

TV remote turned on the TV, but then it didn't change the channel or volume. The milk and apple juice at breakfast seemed to be watered down. The staff were nice, but this place looks like someone bought and is only doing the minimal maintenance.

I picked this hotel because the website said 24 hour front desk and airport transport. When I checked in the said airport transfer only runs 5am-11:30pm. They should state that!!! I had to leave for the airport at 2:30 am.

I wasn't there very long, but the staff was nice, the room was super clean, there was a fridge in the room! The bed was comfy, and the coffee was excellent.

As a registered guest i wasn't ask if I had a vehicle and subsequently my rental was towed away. This was unprofessional and totally ahuge inconvenience.

Never got picked up from airport & I called. When I finally paid for a ride to the hotel the shuttle was parked there. Cost me extra money for this supposed amenity.
