Comfort Inn & Suites SW Houston Sugarland

Air conditioning was poor. Room felt too hot. I had no choice but to vacate the room immediately. Had to find another hotel. I am supposed to get a refund and emailed the hotel but no response yet.

No security, the back door don't lock, anybody can enter the property without key, the entire hallway, no AC , no AC in the lobby. Lots of noises around the property... Bad experience.

The property is in good condition, room service and the breakfast is good

Room was dirty literally cockroaches crawling up the walls. Staff was horrible trying to call them between my husband and I 10 times till finally someone answered crackheads wandering around there and the back door isn’t even locked so anyone can just walk into there.

The room was hot. The ac barely worked. The bed was hard and pillows were subpar. There was roaches in the room. TV was old and hardly worked. Lamp quit working. The room had no main light.

I explained I have to leave by noon. I’m sorry Expedia already took the money. Very disappointed. While in the parking lot several windows with curtains open meaning unoccupied.

Didn’t like the fact that the room nor the hotel lobby did not have usb connections for my phone cord. The microwave was not in the breakfast area, it was in the back kitchen. The restroom sink water was barely running. The elevator was barely working. They need to update this hotel. Needs some work.

I stayed one night and never again the sheets were never changed the fold out couch had food stuffed in it with dirty sheets and they only brought us a fresh set to change ourselves the shower was hanging off the top lock was broken as if someone kicked the door open and when we told the front desk about it they asked if we did it we were only in the room 10 min! Don’t stay here!

Room was clean but roaches in every room. Breakfast selection was poor and waffles were inedible. Tried to get them to move us to a different hotel but no refunds or offer to help. Checked with Expedia but they were no help. They side with hotel so not useful to use for bookings.

The place was terrible. Only the night guy was great. The morning and afternoon crew were horrible. Room had cockroaches and I told him to clean the room every single day but they did not. It smell like maneuver.

the room smelled, the sick in register was leaking anytime you turned it on, I told the person at front desk, and they was very unconcerned. There was no instructions for the waffle maker, and the creamer for coffee was out, and they lady acted as if I was bothering her to get more

The property needs to be remodeled. The hotel was dirty on the outside and inside. There's a large homeless population living in the hotel also.

The hotel was under few renovation. Very dirty and very unkempt. Thick pets and cigarette odors. The staff I met on first night of arrival was very rude and inappropriate. Cleanliness, roch, staff rudeness and the environment.

My stay in comfort inn and suites Sugar Land, Houston, Texas was truly wonderful.It’s the perfect mix of comfort, culture, and modern living. I would gladly visit again.

Boy smell like mold and I found one roach on the bed

Dirty pool, bad area,!gang activity, homeless etc. breakfast was terrible. Don’t recommend staying here. Sheets were itchy. No security. Anybody could just come in without having any room booked.

Custer service was poor. Dirty towel was left in the shower from whoever had the room prior to me getting it. Killed a bug that was crawling on the wall. Probably won’t be back to this one anymore

I didn’t even stay here. After checking in, when u walked into my room there was people staying in the room they gave me the key card to and the front desk person walked to the room and called the person by his name and said he had to go like he knew him or something. I left and stayed somewhere because when they gave me another someone was in the other room with deadbolt lock locked.

Easy check-in, staff was wonderful and super nice. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Over all stay was excellent and room was super clean and spacious, will definitely be back soon!

The property is in poor condition. The exterior and the grounds are unkept and the interior is outdated and in need of a deep cleaning. My room had dead and alive roaches as well as fleas I believe. The AC unit was extremely loud. The location did not give me a secure feeling. Found myself checking on my vehicle often. I stayed one night of the two I booked.

Pool nasty, spa and exercise room closed, elevator broken, charged full week stayed 3 days for medical treatment had to walk up two flights of stairs several times a day because of elevator not functioning. Key cards stopped working daily had to go down get replaced constantly after every one time use!! Didn’t clean room daily. Halls smelled of marajuana carpets nasty!! Staff useless and rude

Very rundown place. Rooms have cockroaches. Rooms were smelly. Elevator was not running for full night.

Rooms have roaches, elevators broke, no staff working the desk at night, tv didn’t work had to get another tv from a different room 0/10 do not recommend at all.

The pictures look nothing like the place. Half of the building was missing and it is in a rough part of town. Would not recommend.

Location was terrible right next to the highway and the room smelled. I also did not feel safe.

Breakfast menu was same all the time, while supply is always short. House keeping is available only on request and only on alternate days. Parking was sufficient but always dirty and surrounded with suspicious people. Most of the staff are good except few that are rude to dictate rules such as breakfast closes sharp 9am and lobby is out of bound after 10pm.

It was convenient It had roaches In the room and the key card to the door kept deactivating. Had to keep going to the front desk to get new keys every time I left the room.

Breakfast was fine. Location was not as close to Sugarland as I expected but it worked out okay. Down elevator from 2nd floor wasn't working but no real problem.

Our room was clean. Staff was mediocre. Breakfast was poor, little selection and we always had to ask for items to be refilled. Outdoor pool was closed. They used to have and indoor pool and workout room that were both closed and torn up. Listing online says pool is open March 1 and it was not. Very disappointing for our family.

The staff never disappoints, and the room was perfect I have no complain with this hotel definitely coming again.

When you walk in it smells the door wouldn’t shut. The toilet was dirty with brown stuff running down. Do you have pictures? I sit at the desk. Something was crawling on me. The AC unit went out called front desk. They was booked so there was no other room.

Toilet seat had stains. No daily housekeeping Breakfast was very limited. Overall it was okay.

Do yourself a favor don’t book here trust me you will thank me. They checked me into the room that was soo dirty and even the area is not safe. Room smell dirty and no wifi. They promised me a cleaner room after 2 nights and new room wasn’t ready I just left I hope who is reading my review it’s not a 3-Star hotel i checked out and went to another 3 star hotel day and night difference

Breakfast was below average. Location is one of the most difficult to access, even for taxi/Uber drivers. The rooms are cockroach-infested, and the management made false promises to have our rooms sprayed, which never happened until we checked out. It appears that many individuals, possibly families, reside at the property almost permanently. I saw people in the elevator moving in with utensils and other personal effects in open boxes. Kids roam the hotel corridors on bare feet. There is a strange, strong odor right from the reception area and in the rooms. The linens are worn out, and significant visible stains can be observed on the window blinds.

The room we stayed was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful The hotel needs update. The breakfast area looks like it's old. It needs a complete overhaul. We saw some outsiders hanging around in the parking lot. The elevator switch on the second floor was taped over, the inside of the elevator was not clean.

Location The additional fees Even though the room was paid in full with booking for a check in time of 1:00pm they charged me an additional fee for early check in and took a 50 deposit on top of that which they held for 5 days. Again I had already oaid in full

I was ignored at check in by the clerk. Not very friendly or conversational. Beds were hard and air conditioning kept switching from heat to cool air. Roaches are present at this location. Showers were hot, only positive accommodation.

I really loved my stay in this hotel, the room no complain about it, the staff was nice to me when I check in. I do recommend this hotel for ur vacations. My stay was excellent, I will come back again.

They wanted to charge me for an extra $20 for early check in. The gentleman was very rude and had bad customer service. The room was okay but throughout my stay I would catch cockroaches roaming the room.

This was the most disappointing stay I’ve experienced in over 35 years of travel. The property was extremely unclean, and I was shocked that a Comfort Suites location would exhibit such poor maintenance and oversight. This fell well below the standards I expect from the brand.

Room door lock was broken, it didn't open until multiple attempts. Air conditioner wasn't working, woke up at night sweating. Room was poorly maintained. Will never go back.

The door from my room got stuck and i couldn't open it and i had a child on the other side, i tried and called the staff for help and they didnt answer me. I had to call the fire department for help. Other than that everything else was good

Fridge didnt work. I had meal preps be off tasting. Bugs in the bathroom. Carpet was filthy. Some random dude tried to get in my room with key access. They didnt because i had the latch lock in place. I usually have good stays at comfort inn, but tuis has been the motel 8 of inns.

They have roaches and they know but did not mention this at check in!!!

This hotel we did not expect to be in an unsafe part of town. No maintenance kept yp with repairs to the building. Out dated 1970's bedroom lamps. Not sufficient lighting in the bedrooms. Dirty marks in ceiling above bed. Basin in bathroom had no plug. Water barely came out of faucet. No complimentary water bottles in the room upon arrival. I was told at 11pm, I was not allowed to sit in the Lobby as the Lobby was closed. How ridiculous is that! Pitbulls, bulldogs and other dogs were staying in the hotel and apparently called service dogs. Where does one draw the line? Pet owners dont even pick up their own dog's poo, but leave it for the hotel staff to pick up on the grass outside. Gee. Never again!!!

I have sent a 3 page letter to Choice properties detailing all of the issues with the property. All negative.

Went downstairs to smoke a cigarette and a mice ran across the pavement in front of the entrance to motel. Save yourself the trouble dont stay here. Your be better off at MOTEL 6, and im not exaggerating!!!!!!!

Indoor pool was closed and clearly has been for a while. The exterior is in very poor shape. The hotel is right on a highway so it’s loud. They have a security gate around the building they keep the parking lot locked from 11-6 as the area is not very safe according to the man at the desk who was very nice. There’s several broken down cars in the parking lot. The interior of the room smelled strongly of mildew and weed. This seems to be the theme at many of the “choice” hotels lately. We will need to find another brand to go with for sure

The reception staff was rude and disrespectful

The hotel is nothing of what the pictures shows. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, room and hotel smelled of old smoke and pet urine. Strange activity was going on amongst the other guests and it honestly seemed as if it was a halfway house.

Great customer service

Beds dirty full of crumbs or something! Cockroaches on tables not enough towels for guests and when asked for extra towel they told me there was none!!!! And to top it off didn’t return my id and they never answer the phone.

Parking was convenient and room was clean and well furnished. Snack bar was stocked and had many options. Definitely would return.
