It was close to the places we had reservations at walking distance to a lot places. The A/c to room took forever to get cool never got cold. And the room was non-smoking yet smelled like cigarette. Restroom was dirty had to clean myself.
- 5/5
First time here and will definitely be returning when we are in town.
- 4/5
I didn’t use the amenities to my advantage at all, so I cannot speak too much on those. I know for a fee though, you can get breakfast. $70 was going to be added if I chose that option. In my opinion, you can find breakfast in the area cheaper than that and with better vibes, but to each their own.

When you walked in the staff was not friendly. The room I was given, had a smell, and it was in a corner. The view from the window was another building. I felt claustrophobic in that room. I called downstairs and asked for towels, and no one brought it up. I had to go get my own towels.

Passable

The lobby is fine and the location is good. Every single surface in my room was either stained or scratched. No room service for over a week.
- 5/5
Stayed here with friends to go watch Astros game
- 5/5
Wonderful stay and will definitely be back
- 4/5
Great location Good value Great complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. Room service is on demand only. You will come back to a dirty room if you have not requested by 10 am to have it cleaned. The mini kitchen has only empty cupboards. No pots, pans, ustensiles, it's useless. Not an upgrade at all.

I don’t like the fact that I had to do self check in. I am old school and like to see friendly and smiling faces. Your employees were there should we have questions. I feel I don’t get paid to have to do my own check in.
- 4/5
Good location. Clean. Parking not great. 😊
- 4/5
The hotel overall was really nice! It's very intuitive. When you check in there's someone at the desk but you make your own room key and check yourself in on a tablet with their guidance. I got a standard room with either a queen or a double single bed room, I forgot the bed type to be honest. There was no microwave and no mini fridge but it had an iron, tv, desk, even a nespresso maker which was super nice. The TV came with all the channels needed plus a way to stream Netflix and other apps which was cool. The hotel was very clean and my room was very clean as well. There's no ice machine only an ice water dispenser and they give you your own plastic water bottle to fill up when needed or just use your own. If you want ice there's a cafe in the lobby with a full bar, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I got ice a few times there and they didn't mind since they knew the hotel didn't give ice. Overall a few critiques but nothing major. I would 100% stay here again. Also was a great location, right in the middle of downtown Houston within walking distance to many restaurants and very close to the lightrail they have there.
- 5/5
My stay was for one night and factors in to my review. The room was small but clean and fit my need. Too small for multiple days. The hotel is really nice and reasonably priced for the area.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 4/5
This is a great location to Daikin field. If you are heading to an Astros game, you can walk! It is an older hotel and the room was small but it served our purpose.
- 3/5
Two things, one my flight was canceled for Friday and they wouldn’t refund my one night. And two my water in the shower was barely warm, it was borderline cold. Everything else was great!
- 4.5/5
No ice machine

Great value. Right in downtown. The 500 metro bus from airport drops you outside hotel for $1 and 35min. Bus every 30m and pickup is one block away. Train to museum district is also 1 block away. Rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need.beds comfortable with great pillows. Coffee maker included. Bar and bistro in hotel. Air con is good, which is really needed as very hot city. Didn't have any tea in room. Couldn't connect android to TV.. pretty monor really.
- 5/5
It was a great stay. Walking distance to the baseball field. Room was neat. Great AC. Recommend!
- 4.5/5
Great amenities beyond basics in room such as gym, water stations, laundry room with free wash/dry including detergent, coffee machine off lobby. Great location very close to public transportation, restaurants and fast food, arts district and museums. Staff helpful. Furniture in room was visibly more worn. Had problem with setting up virtual room key on mobile phone although card keys worked fine.
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 4/5
The check in was SUPER simple. The snacks in the room SHOULD be a complimentary. Also, some of the channels were not available.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the coffee in the lobby was really good. However, the room was extremely small, and honestly, the price was too high for the quality and size of the room. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I don’t feel the room was worth what we paid.
- 5/5
Nice lobby area with free coffee. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Walking distance about 12 minutes to Daikin Park. Good access to metro system as well. On site restaurant but didn't eat there.
- 3/5
I booked this hotel with high expectations and it was pretty subpar. Not really worth it in my opinion. It was in a convenient location and that's about it. The parking was unreasonably high to ME- $45 per night. Additionally, the rooms were very small
- 5/5
Great location and excellent value! The price was very reasonable for such a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, quick, and easy, which made arriving after a long day stress-free. The hotel was a great option for our stay, especially considering the location and price. We would definitely consider staying here again!
- 5/5
A little pricked with the tv picking up only 5 channels or so. Otherwise it was great. I'd recommend parking at the garage across the street.

I came from Mississippi and the 1st night I got there parking was horrible...the ice machine didn't work and the t.v. was acting up the whole stay. The bed was ok...dont know if id stay there again
- 4/5
The room is extremely small but clean. I wouldn't book this particular room because it doesn't come with a refrigerator or microwave which was somewhat inconvenient.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Room were very small and not very clean. Staff was not the friendliest except for the restaurant staff they were very helpful and nice. I don’t think is worth almost $200 a night.
- 4/5
Check in was pretty smooth. The tool didn’t smell that great when I walked in, smelled kinda old. But once I turned the air on, i didn’t smell anything. Love that the gym was open 24/7. The food was really good in the cafe. Check out was smooth. And valet was good as well. I’d stay again. Also was in a good area to walk and sight see a little
- 5/5
Always a wonderful place to stay. My preferred
- 3/5
The carpet is like older than my dad. Checking in and out with a person and 0 direction and little signage was confusing and annoying not just to me but also other travelers. My hotel remote legit barely worked. Couldn’t turn the volume up, could hit the up button. I just gave up on the tv and used my phone. Showers not fully clean either. No trash bags in the trash cans. Bed wasn’t like hard firm uncomfy but was just like uncomfy. My backseat would’ve given me better sleep. But I mean it’s a great central location.

Charged my card for a temporary hold and never got it back
- 2/5
The vending machine takes all your money and doesn’t release the items. The staff knows and doesn’t do anything about it. We had several people confirm the same thing happened to them. The phone in the room didn’t work. I had to walk down to the lobby. It is dingy and could use some updates.

- 5/5
I always stay here when I travel to Houston; I always experience a great stay!
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
This was a very affordable hotel. The room we stayed in was roomy and clean. The bathroom was a little small but for the price it was also very good. Loved the little bistro on the main floor. We had drinks there before the Astros game and then the next morning had a delicious breakfast. Overall our experience was very good.
- 5/5
Buen servicio limpieza fácil al realizar check in y check out
- 4/5
There was no refrigerator in the room and the noise from the same car engine kept us up all night 😑. We will have no problem choosing to stay at there again.
- 4/5
Clean and simple hotel. Well located and well priced. Courteous staff.
- 2/5
Use the Valet if you play on coming and going somewhere. Breakfast was great but unfortunately they don’t offer refills on the orange juice when you purchase the breakfast package, the only option is coffee or orange juice . Room was ok. Shower and restroom isn’t so pleasant especially when you take a shower. No water pressure at all, the water faucet has more pressure and the shower. Hot water wasn’t working well in shower. Toilet is too close to counter top which made it difficult to lift the top of the toilet. When flushing the toilet, water would rise to top which would look like it was going to overflow. A lot of other people staying in hotel complaining about several issues with their room. Very convenient if you plan on going to a Astros game.
- 2/5
Room clean but small and needed more electrical outlets. No onsite parking
- 5/5
Very nice stay , I will stay again
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean room, great gym, and good location.

- 5/5
Staff was professional & helpful
- 5/5
Loved everything about the room and staff. Only would have like a fridge in the room.
- 5/5
Just a good old classic hotel right in the heart of downtown Houston.
- 5/5
Great spot for the price
- 5/5
I really like the location, everything I needed was either a walk or a uber away. The staff was nice and helpful. The valet staff was very very kind and helpful and didn’t mind all my questions. I will definitely stay here again
- 4/5
We loved staying here. It was right in the heart of downtown with walkable distance to many bars and restaurants. It was marked at a great price for this area, BUT the parking was horrendous. The staff didn’t know much about the parking as well. The hotel does NOT offer parking passes. The nearest parking garage will charge you $13 for every 6 hours of parking. It’s best just to pay for valet parking if you’re wanting to be in and out.
- 4/5
The hotel sSaff is very helpful upon check in! They relieved any anxiety I had about coming in before check-in time. Staff was always available to answer questions and they were very helpful.
- 4/5
great locaton for us and good value.
- 4/5
Room service did not come multiple times.
- 1/5
Charged for something at the lil hotel restaurant that I didn’t even go to. Staff didn’t believe me and wanted to do an investigation. But had to remind them to do it. Shower water not hot.
- 5/5
As described
- 4/5
Great location, very convenient
- 3/5
Hotels was lovely and clean. The check in process which was supposed to give a modern feel was difficult. You check yourself in which is weird and then have to guess where your rooms are. It wasn't enjoyable the way a welcoming receptionist is. Coffee was good and breakfast was tasty but not worth the price and the servers were terrible. We had to hunt up silverware and repeatedly get the waitresses attention for coffee refills. All in all for the price I would stay somewhere else.
- 1/5
- 4/5
Decent value. The staff could be a little more friendly, courteousness, and accommodating..
- 4/5
Staff were amazing and very helpful. The room and hotel was clean. If I have to make a comment it would be that it’s a little outdated.
- 5/5
All good! The only issue was that there was no hot water in the shower.
- 1/5
Never staying here. The room was awful and unclean, there was stains of the curtains and the place had dust. The room were small and unclean. They refused to give me a refund especially since it was my first time there. I spoke with the manager and supervisor and they were no help in the situation
- 4/5
Great staff, good room. I'll stay again
- 4/5
The only complaint that i have about my stay at this hotel was that the bathroom door malfunctioned. I became stuck inside the bathroom for a couple of minutes because the door would not open from the inside. While I was eventually able to get out, this was a concerning safety issue that should be addressed to prevent it from happening to other guests.
- 5/5
Customer service at front desk, cleaners of room and service guys for Electronics items in the room provided very good service. Location is good. Recommend
- 5/5
We always live our stay at Club Quarters! Super clean and amazing location.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
The hotel is a 3 star hotel at best. It is really old and outdated. It needs a major renovation. The room was tiny. The light fixtures were damaged and stained. There was rust all over the bathroom sink. From the carpet to the decor, it seemed like a basement and not much of a proper hotel room. And I was also late for my dinner reservation because valet took 20 minutes just to bring my car around. Not a fan of this hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Service was great and perfect location for downtown.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 2/5
Being next to the train station and downtown is a plus. The gym is spacious and has what you need. Unlimited coffee. Hotel room was very spacious and modern but outdated. Freezer in room was dirty from an old exploded coke, I assume, that was never cleaned. The water in the shower did not get hot nor warm. The tv in the bedroom volume/mute button did not work. An okay stay. Location is very convenient.
- 4/5
Beds where not to comfortable
- 4/5
Clean room, useful amenities, well-positioned within Downtown if that is your preferred area to be!
- 5/5
great service and employees
- 1/5
Mala atención
- 5/5
Interesting old hotel in downtown Houston nice enough and in an excellent location
- 3/5
Room had no microwave and no refrigerator. The soap and toiletries are outside of the rooms. I wish I had known this before getting in the shower
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. My room faces the downtown buildings. And the location made it easy to get around the city.
- 3/5
Positive is that they were close to downtown and other restaurants. Bad is that the place is much older than other hotels. Personally do not believe it’s worth the price.
- 5/5
Kind staff. Amazing valet
- 5/5
Perfect hotel for a Astros game! 15 minute walk from the stadium and the room was clean and really nice (on the smaller side). We would definitely come stay here again. They had free water refilling stations on every floor and an amenities closet with everything you could need that you most likely forgot (razor, tooth brush, and even a sewing kit)
- 5/5
Excellent accommodations and superb staff.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and close to Metro for traveling downtown.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly
- 3/5
Check in process was easy and quick. However, I have not slept on a single bed since I was in high school. The beds were extremely small. Also, the beds were very squeaky. Only one ice machine and it is in the ‘basement’. Valet for $45/night.
- 4/5
Good location for baseball games and good restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
I loved that you could remake your own key card instead of waiting in line for staff to make one. Everything was clean, everyone was nice, and plenty of food choices to walk to. I loved the area
- 5/5
very nice place clean and safe
- 5/5
Great stay in the heart of the city
- 5/5
Nice well maintained rooms.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel located within walking distance of most of the downtown area. Close proximity to the metro line.
- 5/5
Easy access
- 4/5
No fridge in room, and ice machine was broken
- 5/5
Great location within walking distance to Daiken Park. Valet was quick to get car when we were ready to leave.
- 3/5
room felt damp all day …weird
- 4/5
It was ok for a single person. We were able to upgrade for a small additional amount and received a small apartment. It was well worth it. Location was excellent. Hotel restaurant was additional but very good for breakfast. Light rail train is in front of hotel.
- 5/5
The room looked like it had been updated recently and was very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful upon arrival. Everything went very smoothly. The location was amazing, and we were able to walk all around the area. It felt nice to have a secure building as well. We ended up parking kitty-corner to the hotel for $20 for one night. It wasn't bad at all, and the other positives far outweighed the lack of on-site parking. Which is fairly normal for a downtown hotel. They had a Nespresso machine in the room and a purified water machine right down the hall as well. I really enjoyed my stay and will be choosing them moving forward when I come to Houston.
- 4/5
I liked that it was quiet and I had no disturbances but the room could have been much cleaner and the fridge didn’t keep anything cold. It wasn’t a bad stay but I did expect more !
- 3/5
My toilet was leaking at the base and the TV did not work- I called about, was advised its fixed but channels weren't loading. At check in would be nice if all agents advise you where are all amenities of the hotel are and what is complimentary. The guests should not be asking all those questions. Otherwise it was a cost effective hotel and close to everything downtown Houston
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms. Great walking distance to the many establishments around Houston.
