Nice size rooms, even though it was just 2 of us. It could easily sleep four. The A/C works well, i had to keep it on low.

The photo does not match the room the toilet was stopped up he asked for me to come get the plugger i kindly declined I thought he would have come and plunge the toilet for us. The sink still had hair in it and on the floor

The room was nicely remodeled, smelled clean. Location, questionable. Had a homeless person or a booker knocking on our door at 2 am. People smoking lettuce on the patio. Nice renovations but i would not stay again

Quickness of replacement of amenities. However, the AC kept cutting off. Even if I had the setting on “cool” and “on”. So it disturbed my sleep a bit.

The front desk was mad at me because I was having trouble understanding her accent And she tried to make me pay again! Even tho I already payed online expedia App. She kept saying you need to pay. And the paper she had said I owed $0.

Rooms did what was required, but never have I experienced such from incompetence from a check in team.

Watch-out for front desk personnel and wanting your signature on a form and demand you don't date it. Then they refuse to give you a copy. If you ask why, they become annoyed. The room stunk of cigarettes even though I specifically paid for a non-smoking room. The room was "NASTY" to say the least. Blanket had a cigarette burn, sheets stained, a chair that was stained all over, stains on the wall, etc. I definitely would not recommend this place.

Not much selection for food within walking distance. Whataburger across street, but that was about it.

The person that check us in was on the phone personal call so he didn’t speak but I did see they had drinks and snacks to purchase. The room was spacious very the tub wasn’t completely clean and the tv had minimum channels I checked out at 6 am overall my experience was 5/10 no too bad no horrible either

For the condition of the room.. I really really wanted a refund. I stayed there one of the cold nights .. they didn’t have a heater in room… and a huge gap underneath front door..saw a couple roaches .. it felt like a make shift hotel like if it was bout in a auction and they just desided to play hotel owners.

My stay at Americas Best Value Inn Houston was fantastic! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a particularly cozy beds, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

It was ok, but i didn't like the way the office lady acted like i should be lucky to be accepted into her establishment. Other than that, it was alright.

Very shady AND UNSAFE area. Homeless people are everywhere! Trash everywhere. Definitely will not stay there again.

The staff here is nice respectful and takes care of their customers. They're personable they have learned to recognize when my reservations come up and try and put me in the room that I like when I stay here ahead of time. I would recommend this to anyone

I asked for a quiet room in my reservation. She placed me at a dead-end hallway across from the ice machine. Hallway smelled of smokers. People get ice at all hours, and was very noisy. Evening front desk was unfriendly. Morning front desk was surly and unfriendly. No bugs in room except a fly. I do not recommend room 112 if you like to sleep.

It’s pretty nice for the price. Nothing fancy, all the little extra things you think about hotels having are not here, but it was pretty nice and clean.

The shower was still dirty, the tv was broken and the area was bad as well as the fact that it does not look like how it is presented online

my stay was uncomfortable. there was lots of white powder under the bed and they also had roaches. i do not recommend.

Front desk and management are the worst I seen in my life.

Comfort is not what I felt laying in that bed. The second night was a little better than the first. Shower, no bath.No way to stop the drain. Everything was okay.

If your looking for a whole in the wall then it’s your best bet. I traveled alone for work the area was horrible and then I had to listen to everything happening around me while I was in my room. Very unsatisfactory!! No rest with a 5 am wake-up for work I was excited about leaving

I booked a non smoking jacuzzi room and when I got there they said there were no non smoking and the room smelled horrible. The pillows had cigarette burns and so did some sheets. The rooms were nothing like they pictured and the side of the restroom cabinet was dirty it was just not great

Restroom door wouldn't close & bed "cover" is significantly thin so you will need to bring own blankets for sure.

It’s not in a great area. There are no amenities, wifi didn’t work. I mean, if you need a quick place to crash, but it’s not even cheap. Don’t bring the kids.

The couple that work they’re was rude as hell brushed us off literally! Refused us new sheets or a refund, turned off the lights at the front desk and went in the back, on top of that they switched us to a new room just for it to be as dirty as the last

The management leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing but frowns all around. I can't figure out why people with such rude, morose attitudes would get into the hospitality industry. The room was okay though. Oh yeah! I decided to stay an extra day, and they charged me an "early check-in fee" of $25. I've stayed in a lot of places and this is the first time that's happened. I can understand if I was actually checking in early, but I was just continuing my stay. Won't be going here again. Too many places in Houston where the management is gracious and friendly.

Booked a room they adverse as Jacuzzi but when we got to the room it was a non smoking room that had been smoked in and no Jacuzzi. Said hotels.com was at fault and did nothing to fix it.

I was a little concerned about the condition when I booked because the price was so low. I was amazed when I got to the room. The place was like new. There was not the normal 15 coats of peeling paint touch up it was all fresh, new furniture and crisp clean linens. The staff was great and friendly. It appears it is family run and operated with great pride. I did have a smoking room and it smelled new and did not have the old smoke smell. I typically stay in higher end properties in Houston. In the future this is where I will stay. You can't beat the location either.

I asked for tooth brush and paste i didnt get any. They said it was for sale but didnt accept my credit crad for same.

For the price it was great very clean bed was a little hard when i checked in clerk could of been a little friendlier but I'd definitely would stay again.

I liked it was close to my family. The bed was too hard and pillows were uncomfortable.

We stayed in the King Smoking room #207 and it was really nice. Great TV. Beautiful furniture. Comfortable atmosphere. No complaints!

The outside didn't look like much, but the room was very nice - well maintained, clean, pleasant, comfy bed, AC worked perfectly (in hot Houston), and the staff were helpful and very nice.

Overnight stay due to flight cancellation, so it was a good thing that they had a front desk open at 1 am and the room was ready and clean.

Refused to come to the counter, refused to give us clean sheets, refused to change us rooms.

It's was loud there at night There was alot of moving around and people watching that place ,when we got there was a girl watching us unload are things it's was uncomfortable for us there and Everytime we left the room there was someone watching us .Friday night around 1:30 in the morning people were y'all in and fighting it's was crazy cause there was alot of them argue...

We were told our room would be ready at 3. Got back at 3:30 and it was not ready. Manager did a good job at getting someone on it right away. No complaints besides that. Really just stopped in for one night just to get some rest.

Will stay at again next time I am in Houston.

I think they have bed bugs. I have little red bumps that itch all over due to this room. I also checked out & had to come back 2 days later to the same room & noticed they haven't washed the sheets! Neighbors were super loud, could hear them fighting most of the night.
