The hotel is in the center of downtown, and there is a light-rail stop directly in front of it. The staff were really friendly, and I got good hospitality from the breakfast personnel who also freshly sliced their ham for me. The room was very spacious and clean, and it felt luxurious! Thumbs up for the complementary bottled water.

Nothing Beware: Although our reservation stated that breakfast was included for 4 guests, the hotel charged us separately for breakfast. We explained that the booking was for four people and showed that breakfast was included, but we were still charged for all four guests. This was very upsetting and disappointing. Guests should carefully review their bill and confirm breakfast details at check-in to avoid unexpected charges.

In loved mostly everything about the stay definitely very clean and upscale environment. No access to microwave and also breakfast doesn’t have a variety of breakfast items, more so just pastries.

Staff was nice. Room was clean. Was only able to eat oatmeal at breakfast due to lack of gluten and dairy free options. Was only a few blocks away from the convention center so not too bad of a ride. Curtains didn't quite fit the windows. Need more towels in the future also. Wish they had queens vs double beds also.

Excellent property & very cheerful, helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks at the bar. My only complaint was that the sink drained slow and the hair conditioner bottle in the shower was empty. But very nice property.

Room was very nice. We enjoyed a drink from Blue at the hotel bar. There were also some nice bars and restaurants within walking distance.

For the purpose of our trip, this location was perfect! We were in Houston to watch FIFA game at NRG stadium. Red train line was literally in front of hotel which brought us directly to stadium. This hotel was also located in a very nice & safe part of downtown Houston. Lots of bars & restaurants in the area. The staff at this property made us feel welcomed! So polite and professional.

I loved the Front desk staff, they were helpful and kind. It was a pleasant stay for sure.

Upon arrival, the young woman who checked me in gave me several choices on my room location (different floors, near the elevator or not, etc.) She was so nice and friendly. I had a little night cap at the bar before heading to my room and had a wonderful time! The bartender (Justin) was so great! He made my night. The burger on the menu surpassed my expectations too! Headed up to my room and everything was in its place, spic’n span CLEAN and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

The valet attendants were also fantastic. I didn’t catch their names, but they were friendly, professional, and always retrieved our car quickly. The room was beautiful, well laid out, and the shower had perfect water pressure. One small recommendation would be to address a slight older carpet smell in the hallways. Adding diffusers or a pleasant scent could make an already great experience even better. I loved the added security of needing a key card to access the guest floors, and having both armed security and a police officer on-site at night provided extra peace of mind. I brought my fiancé here for Father’s Day, and he absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, with a food hall right across the street and easy access to downtown Houston. Although the hotel is across from the train station, we couldn’t hear the trains from our room at all. Valet parking was a little pricey, but that’s to be expected in downtown Houston. Overall, the staff, location, cleanliness, and value were excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Keep up the great work! ❤️🏨✨

The lighting was dim throughout hotel. Inside the room, lights were fine, however wish the restroom lights were brighter. For woman applying makeup, bringing extra lighting and personal hand mirror is highly recommended. Bed was comfortable and room had adjustable AC access. No parking available, only valet. We were told valet would be a one time charge of $50-$60, but ended up being a total of $70 with service fees and taxes!(Which was not explained to us over the phone when we called to ask) Overall, overnight stay was decent, but wouldn’t really recommend.

Starting with the valet and check-in service, the associates were extremely welcoming. I had a slight mishap but the front desk assisted in resolving it. Overall, great location, great room, and great service!

When I got there it was ok, the staff was good but the hotel itself self wasn’t that good. For the price I would expect a lot better. My sink was clogged up and the elevator stopped working a few times on my two day day. I mean it isn’t that bad but if your going to pay that much might as well stay somewhere else.

Stayed for One Night while Enjoying an Astros Game. No Problems. Staff was Friendly and Helpful. Property Was Clean. Starbucks and Bar were on Property. Within Walking Distance of Ballpark.

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly, the only thing to be cautious about is the amount of homeless people surrounding the property but security is on sight.

Booking this hotel I had high expectations since at other AC hotels I had an amazing experience. However, this property was a bit different. This hotel is located downtown Houston so please be aware of the many homeless people hanging around. Checking in was breeze everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. After checking in we decided to grab a drink at the hotel's bar and the bartender there was extremely rude. Questioning why we were asking questions about drink ingredients and overall being rude and unprofessional. Needless to say we never returned to the bar our entire stay. The hotel room was okay smaller than expected. The bed was really soft. The housekeeping staff were really friendly and helpful. Having a Starbucks on the property was a plus for us unfortunately one day of our stay they had to shutdown due system failure. My only suggestion is to train the staff on customer service and professionalism. Myself among other visitors wasn't pleased with the unpleasant service we received for the price we had paid.

The breakfast buffet was a little unusual with cold cuts instead of bacon or sausage. But the waffles were good and there was a good selection of fresh fruit.

Location was great and the Starbucks attached to the hotel was definitely a bonus!

I’m sure it’s a nice hotel but what they don’t tell you is that even if you book on here and pay in full, SIX MONTHS in advance, they can still be overbooked (because rewards members take precedent?) and move you to a Holiday Inn several blocks away once you arrive. No prior notice (even though this was already decided prior to our arrival). It was extremely inconvenient and disheartening. I’m sure it’s a nice hotel but we didn’t make it past the lobby. Valet people were super nice and the manager was nice enough and apologized but the way this all works is just insane.

There were homeless people all around the hotel begging. Valet was SIXTY FOUR dollars a day. The lobby gave luxury vibes but the actual rooms and hallways gave MOTEL. Rooms were super SMALL I could reach my leg onto the other bed from my bed . LOW WATER PRESSURE from the sink . Bathroom shower was nice . Staff was mid could’ve been more welcoming . The staff when I was leaving was fine . This place is overly hyped .

Room was fine but issues with toilet not flushing; then lobby restrooms were shut down. Elevators stopped working so it was quite a hike to the 9th floor. Egg dish on buffet was cold. Just lots of little things.

I had an amazing stay at AC Hotel. The property was spotless and truly felt luxury from the moment I arrived. The staff was welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to be accommodating. Despite the challenging weather conditions in Houston, they handled everything with grace, patience, and genuine care. You could tell they truly wanted guests to feel comfortable and taken care of. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, upscale experience with exceptional service.

Hosts were very courteous and the hotel and rooms were very clean and well maintained. Only issue I had was, I wish they could have explained the self parking a bit better. I was only staying for one night and they pretty much make it seem like all the parking garages charge you every time on the in and out, when in fact, they don't.

The hotel was at a great location and had a good service, but only issue was the mattress. We got a king size bed and the mattress was terrible. It was way to soft you could feel the bottom part of the bed. The pillows were also bad and uncomfortable. Overall great location but just beds could be better.

Valet parked my truck and I got a $250 ticket .. after I paid valet for parking it. Ridiculous!!

I had the pleasure of meeting the night crew, Keith and Brittany, during my stay. Despite it being around 3 a.m. each time my husband and I approached the front desk, they were both incredibly friendly, energetic, and welcoming. Our interactions went beyond small talk they shared great conversation and even gave us awesome recommendations for places to eat and party in Houston. I truly enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to rebook when I return!

Everything were great, the rooms were clean, bed comfortable, service great, didn’t get to try the bar but i will be back to try it overall i loved my stay here.
