Spark by Hilton Grapevine DFW North

This is a great option as both an airport hotel and also a hotel for Grapevine. It is basic and nothing fancy but it is modern and clean with a free airport transfer and free basic continental breakfast . It had a nice looking , small outdoor pool , we didn’t use it as the weather wasn’t warm enough . You can easily walk into Grapevine which is a charming little town and can get the train to Fort Worth from there . The hotel also gives free lifts within the local vicinity

Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable.

I hope you don’t want coffee when you stay here because for four days in a row, I went down in the coffee pot was empty. My room smelled like old fried food even after two straight days of spraying microban sanitizer. Pretty sure you can find a better place to stay because pool is tiny. The breakfast is dismal at best single elevator, hot dirty nasty find a better place.

It is a perfectly ok airport hotel. Nothing great and the staff were perhaps not the best trained I've come across but it ticks a box.

Old hotel that has some new things, but just wasn’t up to my standards. There were spiders in the room and a/c wasn’t the best. Won’t go back.

Free breakfast was OK but nothing hot is offered (except the coffee). Peel your own hard boiled eggs (and they weren’t easy to peel). But a very good value for the money and only 10 minutes to DFW.

Waited at airport 2 hours for shuttle pickup that ruined my Friday night. Arrived at 7 and got to hotel at 9. Requested a comp for first night out of two-night stay and was refused. Some form of compensation should have been provided. Shuttle to and from Gaylord Texan next day was fine as well as back to airport on Sunday. Elevator did not work with many others on floor two walking up and down stairs with kids. Very clean cool rooms in summer-heat with nice amenities. Staff friendly after my intense anger dissipated next day after a ruined Friday eve.

The room was clean and nicely appointed. The elevator was in need of some cosmetic repairs and brought down my opinion of the property. The staff was very nice. I didn't eat any of the breakfast, but it looked very good.

I booked a room through Expedia for a one night stay and following a flight cancellation just two hours later the hotel would not offer any type of refund and were very dismissive and rude when trying to work with them on this. Would not recommend.

Nice facility but the breakfast needed substantial items like eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits & gravy. The cold cereal and bagels were not impressive.

Obviously an older building, but recently renovated and clean. Exterior of building could use a little work. Breakfast and room were adequate for our needs. Good location.

Way better than the last time I stayed at this location, at that time under a different brand. Soft towels, clean. Only complaint is how miniature the fridge is.

The window AC made me feel like I was sleeping in the airport- it never shuts down, runs constantly - either fan alone or fan +AC. Otherwise, it was an ok hotel.

Easy check in with friendly clerk. Room was immaculate and everything worked. Loved that there were sufficient towels and that there were hooks in the room as well as the bath. Definitely will recommend to friends who may travel to the area.

Room was clean but the hotel is definitely out dated. Elevator is very small and a little “sketchy”. Breakfast was very lack luster. Bagel, cereal, and yogurt were the only options.

Very welcoming. It was close to downtown but also close to our grandchildren's home. Convenient to highway if needed. Breakfast was good, although prefer a few more hot items, but well presented and clean. Price was good.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was well stocked with a variety of choices.

Older hotel but bed was comfy and it was clean. Continental breakfast was good. Good for a quick overnight stay.

Not impressed

Unfortunately, our experience at Spark by Hilton Grapevine DFW North was disappointing from start to finish. The hotel looked much nicer in the online photos than it did in person. It was a bit dingy throughout. Our first room had a bathroom door that was off its hinges, making it impossible to close, and when we tried to shower around 10 p.m., there was no hot water. The next morning, I reported both issues to the front desk. They offered to move us to another room, but since we were leaving for a Texas Rangers game, I told them we’d be back around 6 p.m. They offered to move our belongings while we were gone, but I wasn’t comfortable with that. Despite telling them exactly when we’d return, they began calling around 1 p.m. and continued calling every hour to hour and a half asking where we were because they needed our room. It became very frustrating, especially since the issues with the room weren’t our fault. When we finally moved into the new room that evening, the A/C wasn’t cooling very well, making it stuffy and uncomfortable. The only positive I can give this hotel is its location. It’s conveniently located between Fort Worth and Irving with plenty of nearby restaurants. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. I would not choose to stay here again.

Great staff! Old and not in a good way! Not what I expected at a Hilton property. Pillows were uncomfortable and cheap, and the bed squeaked.

Friendly staff helpful, was looking for place to eat they recommended places right across the street. All good places, we liked Firebirds. Easy walk to historic downtown 10 minutes by foot. Breakfast was basic but had everything you needed.

This is a remodel hotel. It has musty smell. Not horrible smell. Everything has been updated and very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The reason I gave it 4 star is the air conditioner. Set at 67. And it shut off and the fan turn on and off. So, night sleep wasn’t the best until we turned it 63. The room finally cooled off and it wasn’t shutting on and off every 5-10 minutes. Yes I would stay again and recommend It could have been just operator error. It is close enough o the Dallas Ft Wirth airport. Another bonus and they also have a shuttle. I did not try the breakfast because I was not hungry.

What a disaster. I booked two rooms for 4 women. Somehow my husbands name was on one room and mine on another. They would not allow me to access that room because my husband was not present. It took 3 hours and multiple calls to Expedia before the hotel accepted that the two rooms were paid for and I should not have to pay for a third room. And apparently their reason was that we have two different last names. What a way to ruin the end of a nice vacation. So dot your i's and cross your t's if you stay at this property.

Dirty stairwells and pathetically weak shower stream pressure but other than that met expectations

The shuttle from the airport and the stuff at the hotel were excellent always willing to help out.

The hotel was an average condition. My biggest issue was the smell of the room. It had a very powerful odor. Overall, cleanliness was OK. But I don’t think I would stay here again given a choice.

What an overpriced dump! What hotel does not offer in room coffee/tea at this price point? This hotel is in need of a lot of maintenance as it shows excessive wear. Breakfast is lousy. During our stay, we had to request coffee be made two of the three days. The redeeming qualities: McDonald's is across the street so you can enjoy a good, hot breakfast and some really good restaurants are right the street in the other direction so you can enjoy lunch or dinner.

Our room was clean. It was quite on our floor overall. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the shuttle to get to historic downtown right up the road from the hotel. No complaints.

There was a little bit of a funny smell in the room, but other than that it seemed clean.

Perfect location for my overnight stay close to DFW airport. Free shuttle and breakfast made this an insane value. Walked to Mi Día across the street for an amazing dinner on the patio.

Location was great for a one night layover - walking distance to Grapevine Main Street and train station for access to Fort Worth. Breakfast was perfect for what we needed - bagels, cereal, yoghurt and granola etc

The room was great. Check in was easy. Any request was taken care of in a timely manner. Property location was great. My conference was at The Gaylord Resort and Convention Center. 8 mins away at all times.

Conveniently close to the airport. Is rated > 8 on Trip Advisor, but our stay was more of a 5.5. The pool (which was a main draw) was not working and full of dirt. The quality of the rooms was poor. I also chose it for the airport shuttle, but was not able to be connected to an actual person to schedule a pickup from the airport. When I called, it directed me to a customer service robot. When I asked the robot for the phone number for the front desk, it gave me a number that went to voicemail. I ended up spending $30 on an uber to the hotel, when I chose it specifically because of the airport shuttle.

The room was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. I miss not having a coffee maker in my room so the second time I stayed here, I brought my own lol. The staff is very friendly. Definitely worth the money.

I stayed here with my family for a spring break vacation. The hotel was very clean, as was our room. I liked that I could text for extra towels instead of having to call. The breakfast area was very clean during our stay, and the coffee was delicious.

I let the staff know I was going to be leaving at 4:30 in the morning. The shuttle wasn't ready so we had to Uber out of there. They said there would be hot coffee and a few things of fruit left behind since we couldn't make breakfast. There was no hot water and there was no fruit so we couldn't grab anything so that was a bit disappointing, especially since we asked beforehand
