I like how all the staff you come in contact with goes out of his way to take care of you and answer your questions and concerns in a timely and efficient manner. There was no microwave in the room. People getting hungry after hours cannot warm up their leftovers and have to go outside to satisfy their cravings.

My wife and I drove up to the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center to attend a one-day investment conference and then stayed the rest of the weekend for a short vacation. The conference facilities were excellent. The resort facilities were memorable, with so many unique features. The food at the on-site restaurants was exceptional and medium priced on the hotel restaurant scale. The room was spotless, with a nice, modern appearance. The 100" TV screen on the wall looked like a piece of art when not watched. The room and the hall all had a fresh scent. Staying at the resort was a much enjoyed short escape from the normal pressures of jobs. The resort was very family oriented. Rooms are not cheap, but well worth it; and discounts can be found through various travel sites. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Nothing.

It was an excellent weekend adventure. So much to do at the resort. The rooms are clean and had spacious bathrooms. Will visit this place again in the future.

My family and I had a good time. However, food was charged to our card that we did not purchase. Which is while I wish the would accept cash payments and not just card. So now we have to wait for them to sort through things in order to get our money back.

Beautiful hotel. The kids had a great time at the water park.
- 5/5
I attended an event here. Lots of restaurant options. Very big facility though, wear comfortable shoes. The resort was quite lovely. When we were there, the pool was not open, which was a little bit of a disappointment.
- 2/5
The room was nothing like the pictures on any of the websites we looked at. They claimed they were remodeling and stated they couldn't move us, but the problem is that if you were remodeling you should state that as a business. And the remodel was to make the executive suite smaller by removing the table the room as well. It was suspicious the way they went around why we couldn't have the room we paid for.
- 5/5
The property was immaculate from the moment you stepped in to the moment I left I was in all my only problem was I should’ve booked more days… 😂

Don't plan on early check in on a Sunday, could take all day!!

The property was so much more than a hotel! The water park for the kids was amazing . They had animal encounters and a great 4th of July celebration. We really enjoyed our stay

I paid for the breakfast but when i went for the restaurant i paid again because i don’t be at the breackfsst list
- 5/5
We had a wonderful time and experience here. If I had to try to find anything wrong with our stay it would be not have a microwave in the room for the late night snacking.
- 3/5
I paid for the breakfast and I paid again at the restaurant , I’m waiting for the refund of the breakfast

Spent ALOT of time waiting. Reserved 2 rooms that were supposed to be close to each other but that ended up not being the case. Was given keys to 2 rooms and 1 room still had another persons things in it because they made a mistake but they gave us another room down a different hallway and were def not next to each other. Got sick from eating the buffet at the Riverwalk Cantina that was $42 a person. The ambiance was amazing, the experience was just not for me.
- 5/5
todo muy bueno gracias
- 5/5
Go to the Paul waterpark late afternoon and early morning. It was great way to relax in hundred degree weather.
- 5/5
Amazing place, great food and super clean! Wish we could have stayed a lot longer. The only downside I had was that the bed was a little uncomfortable. It wasn't the worst but just a little stiff so we didn't sleep the best.
- 5/5
Very nice stay
- 5/5
So many things to see and do! Loved the bars/restaurants. Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
GEORGEOUS property, great amenities and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and updated. Highly recommend a room to face inward with a balcony. Patience is needed upon check in, but once you get settled there is so much to see and do. Top level resort and a must stay. Food at the Italian place was 5* and mgr there handled an issue very well that we had with a charge at their bar. Impressed and customer service at its best. Water park was easy to get to via tram (no food or drink they will take itb from you upon boarding the tram) and they even handed out popsicles to everyone for free. Gym was top tier too! Can't wait to come back

Great place to celebrate our anniversary!
- 5/5
perfect stay!
- 5/5
Great hotel! Would stay again!
- 4/5
Everything was great quality, well maintained, etc. However, you're basically paying the "tourist tax" for everything on-site. Parking is $30+ a day, so keep that in mind. A 12oz can of beer is going to run you $10 each. Any decent sized meal is going to be at least $20. Again, everything was wonderful, but the outrageous costs on top of an already expensive room put a damper on the entire trip. Not the best value, in my opinion.
- 5/5
Super great place to stay at everything was great.
- 5/5
The place is simply incredible. Beautiful in every way.
- 3/5
This is not a cheap stay, and for the money I expected more. It wasn’t bad, just not what I expected for $1100 for 2 nights. The room was average, felt outdated, balcony view of the atrium was nice. Shower drained slow and pooled which I think is so gross. The room had no body wash - I could have brought our own but for just 2 nights I figured it would be easier to just use what they had. We had a bar of hand soap…again just for the price not what I expected. The Cantina buffer was $42 for adults and $22 for a 6 year old…and the food was NOT good. We should have went to a nice restaurant for what we paid. Again, for the price we wanted to convenience of everything there to maximize time. Now the water park for our son was great. It was not overcrowded due to some spotty weather but turned out to make it great for us! Park was clean and he had the best time! We would not likely go back, just too expensive for subpar accommodations.
- 4/5
Food options were limited and not accounting for dietary restrictions. The taste of what was available was not palatable.
- 5/5
Everything about my family’s experience at this resort was amazing! Just make sure if you have any odds or ends that need to be picked up that you visit the local Walmart.
- 5/5
Silent music Zumba class by the pools Relax time by the lobby. Kids enjoyed every minute there.
- 5/5
The atrium was very beautiful and relaxing. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The sundries shop was sadly filled with mostly junk food. I couldn’t find any fruits or other healthy foods for snacks.
- 5/5
Great relaxing place to stay with many amenities!

Attended Gaylord Texan for a conference. No complaints. Beautiful property with excellent service. The catered food from the hotel at the conference was also great.
- 5/5
The staff and vibe are perfect for a Texan staycation! Rooms are spacious and clean and the balcony view facing inward is worth the upgrade!

Our hotel room's air conditioning did not work. The weather was not bad so we dealt with it. The stay was work related and we were in and out and did not have time to get corrected. I will be staying by the DFW airport again this week, just not sure if the stay was worth the $$$.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Anyway, it is a gorgeous hotel, we had an atrium view room which we paid extra for. We had some food from the sports bar, it was decent, nothing to write home about.
