Hyatt Place Dallas/North Arlington/Grand Prairie

We stayed 3 days. The first room had roaches and when staff was informed they acted as if I was crazy. We were moved to another room. The second room the toilet did not flush. They end up sending a maintenance man but the toilet continued giving us issues. Needless to say I will not stay at a Hyatt again. Breakfast was nothing special. They have no shuttle service as I was told when I booked. Honestly a big let down.

Everything was spotless and tidy, from the corner to the tiniest nook and cranny.

I liked everything, honestly, from the check-in process to getting to my room to the convenience of this property when it came to the place I was going in Arlington. The front desk staff members I encountered were also incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. I have absolutely zero complaints. I do wish I'd stayed longer so I could have experienced the pool, but that's not the hotel's fault at all.

Bed was uncomfortable and it was too low not good for people with back surgery. Could be a better breakfast. But staff was friendly. And it was clean.

The staff was wonderful and very inviting.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Location is super convenient for events at AT&T stadium and nearby venues. Shower never seemed to get hot however, always lukewarm. And for only six floors and two elevators - and to have one elevator out of service during a hectic weekend was bad form.

The pool was not working and that sucks considering people pick hotels specifically for pools for their kids. Next time I go thru Dallas, I honestly would not get this hotel ever again.

To begin the staff was super nice, very helpful. The room was clean and breakfast had a good selection. The sheets and towels were very clean smelling and white(not dingy). I will go back when I am in town.

While staff was so understanding and did everything they could to help. I had to be placed in 4 different rooms. The carpet was wet and mildewed in room one, Same situation in room 2 and room 3 the shower was full of standing water. Finally at room 4 we were able to have a clean room with working plumbing.

Great breakfast. Delicious French toast and compote for the yogurt.

We had the most comfortable sleep.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. In the other hand, the bathroom was tight and needed updating. Tub/shower combination needed maintenance, and shower curtain needed to be replaced. The breakfast was great, lots of hot and cold options and area was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly.

We left a day earlier due to a family loss staff was great our fridge dint cool and there were bugs around it everything else was good especially staff

I had to request a lot of items that were out. One elevator was out. Pool was kinda dirty. The breakfast was really good!

Breakfast food was delicious. The whole reason I picked this location was because they had a nice pool. Our AC at our home was broken so we wanted to take our child to a hotel with a decent pool to cool off, but the pool was closed for our entire stay.. very disappointing. Then I was charged a pet cleaning fee, and we had no pets! When I called to get that fixed, the lady that I spoke to said they would take care of it. She did not. I had to call again 3 days later to ask for it to be fixed again. That person actually fixed while I was still on the phone with her so I appreciated that. But I don’t know why we were charged to begin with! It was myself, my husband, and my 2 year old. No pets.

Pool was disgusting, only one elevator works so its very slow and you need to be patient, if u can take the stairs your better off than waiting for the elevators, Rooms are outdated looks like ur in a motel to be honest. And this location is next to industrial buildings so if your staying during the week just know you will be woken up at 3am.

The receptionist was amazing and got me everything I needed for my stay. I didn’t care for the eggs at breakfast. I feel like they added seasoning to them that wasn't to my liking. That's just a personal opinion.

Room was nice but not very quiet. One elevator was down and the other made strange noises. Breakfast was average (for free hotel breakfast). I did appreciate the free parking.

Location 2 rooms one of the beds did not feel good, like unclean

If you’re traveling with children and things like breakfast and the pool are perks…I’d look elsewhere. The pool was green and slimy. The breakfast was non-existent. The food that was out was not great. The eggs had an excessive amount of pepper and green onions…which is fine for adults but not so much for children.

The staff was kind and attentive. The breakfast staff & cleaning staff was great! The atmosphere was nice! Gave us information on places to eat after 9:00 pm because we got in every night after that time. I would stay there again!

This hotel was very poorly maintained. Low budget is how I would explain it, Only one elevator working you would wait 5-7 minutes for it to arrive. On Saturday 7/18/26 at 7:30-7:45 the elevator broke all together. The front desk girl wasn’t helpful at all. I had to climb up and down 6 flights of stairs. I have a disability so this caused me health problems. The TV was very difficult to work no information guide except on a channel which then I had to memorize what I want to watch and the channel number. The room had no vents so it was difficult to control the temperature. The towel rack was in the shower. I have never seen this the towels got wet when you turn on the shower. The breakfast that was raved about was nasty. The hot food was cold. They charged for coffee. I tried to them upon check out and the front desk personnel argued with me. I was shocked. I usually don’t claim but I don’t think you argue with customers. She wasn’t going to ask how my stay was either. She was very friendly with the African American guest but not with me. I will be calling the GM.

Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at for this price. I was surpised at the breakfast with the food they had! The staff was great and handled our check in fast with such a large group. Rooms were clean and they had hot water. One thing some hotels don't have is hot water that is hot right when you turn it on. We were a group of 16 and all of us showered different times in different rooms and the water was nice and hot/warm! 100% loved this hotel!

Location, price, breakfast Our bed linens smelled like urine, the sink was clogged and the use of one elevator and how after one night we had to go reactivate our key cards to get into the building and our room

The elevators broke and with someone who's knees are bad the fourth floor is a long way up and down. The breakfast was okay. Asked the lady if she was going to put more fresh fruit out and was told no. This was at 9am.

Three staff members I dealt with were all super kind and I will give them all credit for that.

Staff was friendly No microwave in room breakfast wasn’t as pictured, elevator went out had to use stairs and I have a bad knee. Bathroom wasn’t as pictured small. Pool area wasn’t as pictured . Beds were hard and uncomfortable . TV didn’t work when downloaded app. according to what was stated. Only reason I didn’t move to different location didn’t want to loose my money. I wouldn’t return or suggest.

I love the space and cleaniness. One elevator was down the whole 5 nights I was there. This made it difficult to get to my room or to the lobby right away.

Hyatt in general is pretty good about maintaining good properties. This hotel was very clean, water pressure was pretty good, but the rooms are quite dated and in need of a refresh. The AC and bathroom fan were both super loud - my husband and I needed ear plugs in order to sleep. The AC did work well though, and room temp was comfortable thru out our stay. Smoke detectors looked super old - not sure if still up to code. Bathroom was tiny, and shower stall was visibly old, but it was clean. We have stayed at other Hyatt Places in other locations, and would go back, but not to this one.

You will expect more with Hyatt on the building. Elevator was broken so lines daily, used stairs. Ice machine out on our floor and other floors machines empty. Trash cans overflowing everywhere. Room was ok but mattress was so bad we left a day early due to back pain. Overall, would not recommend facility.

Well...it was ok. The swimming pool was not maintained well. There were no towels had to ask for everything. The beds were hard. I had a queen with a couch. The couch was very uncomfortable. Hard for my son to sleep on. The rooms were small. We stayed 2 days and had to climb 6 flights of stairs because one of the elevators was out which no staff member even apologized for. The wait was over 20 mins at times. Staff were unfriendly and acted like we were an inconvenience. They didn't even answer the phone. I had to have my key refreshed the next day and the staff acted like that was an inconvenience. I have stayed at quite a few Hyatts and this one was the worse. They made our beds while we were out but didnt not even replace the coffee and sugar or the shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The only thing I can say good about it is breakfast was decent and the water was hot.

Close to global field

The shower head barely worked, making it difficult to take a shower. When I plugged in the iron, it caused the power in the entire room to go out, which was the final straw. Due to the cleanliness issues and maintenance problems, I decided to check out without staying the night. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.

Breakfast was very good variety of choices. Clean room and appreciate changing out linens

Elevator not working

Overall, not a great stay. Room was not cleaned on daily basis even after we requested that. Carpet is old and smelly. Premise is not very well kept. Not recommended.

The charge terminals went down and we had to wait 6 hours before we could check into the hotel. We were late to our event and had to change in the public restroom, because we didn't have access to our room. When we did arrive in our room the a/c was leaking all over the carpet. It was already 00030 in the a.m. and we were very tired. The T.V. also wasn't working. The staff worked very hard and was apologetic, but it wasn't their fault- their wifi went out.

Breakfast was ok. Clean and spacious rooms. Very convenient to Six flags and the Stadium

We enjoyed the room tremendously however the elevators were problematic with the wait time. As we were unaccustomed to the heat it would’ve been thoughtful to have a cushioned bench by the elevators as we’d have to wait upwards of 5 mins+ to use it. Also the flow of breakfast was a bit cluttered having a toddler to navigate it. Would recommend putting the cereal toppings by the yogurt and compote, for example.

shower tub was dirty as well as the carpet floor nonetheless you get what you pay for. ultimately I enjoyed my stay there

Elevator took way too long that we can. We stayed there. There was a lot of noise.

An older hotel but still felt clean and nice. A decent price and location for one night.

bathrooms are small and outdated. the extractor is SO loud. water pressure is also not great. especially in the sink. the shampoo conditioner body wash was fine and i liked that they have a lock on them. lobby was clean. breakfast was just okay. not bad but we only ate there the first morning because it just wasn't super appetizing.

The room was very dirty, It took me 1 hour to clean the molded vents and the phone was smeared. The elevator was broken and the front desk never answer the phone. I felt unsafe and the breakfast had no selection, not even waffles that all other hotels have. Stay away from this Hyatt.

The hotel rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast options were good. The only issue was that one of the two elevators wasn’t working, so it made for long wait times for the only elevator that was working.

One elevator was not working. The other one took forever to come down or up. The sink and the tub in orb room were clogged up. Drained very very slow. Pool wasn’t open when it should have been. It’s was ok but have had better for sure.

The photos of hotel definitely they had use AI .the pool on 4 days we stayed never was clean, we could use it at all. We had to change room 3 times. 2 rooms has leak on the floor from the air conditions. . Even on 3 room i got the lights wasn't working. The back door of the hotel wasn't working at all to open with key rooms. The front desk try to be nice

Absolutely enjoyed this hotel! Breakfast was amazing

The property is not as clean & maintained as the pictures online make it appear. The rooms are definitely dated. The wifi would disconnect all the time, the Google Chromecast would not work, the tv remote wouldn’t work majority of the time. The fridge didn’t work and had to be replaced. The AC unit was unable to keep up and the room stayed at over 75 degrees despite blasting cold air nonstop. All of this said, the staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be. No problems with them whatsoever but the facility definitely needs some work done.

It’s easy access and in a good location. It’s a nice and clean place

Our first room had a broken bed. Our second room had ants in the bathroom. Air doesn’t circulate to the living room area of the room. Breakfast was minimal.

The breakfast was good, staff ready to help, and bed was nice and comfortable. though aging well, the place is getting a little long in the tooth and there was a noticeable "old" smell in the hallway of my room.

Convenient location. Fair price. Unfortunately the card key entry system wasn’t working so had to have the front desk let us into the room every time.

The room was big and very nice. Great layout and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The complimentary breakfast had a lot to choose from and was great.

Everything was fine during our stay, but the weekend we were there the elevators were not working properly, and we didn’t have a microwave in our suite. Otherwise the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The staff was great! They were really nice and friendly. They made us feel like we were at home. Although the hotel isn’t really fancy and luxurious, it was well maintained you can tell the staff takes their job seriously and professionally.

Hotel did the job; however elevators were very slow, they did post a sign that they would be worked on. Our room was clean whenever we walked in the first day, but we had no body wash in our dispenser. Aside from that, breakfast was okay had a couple of options but some items ran out faster so you really had to get up early. Another downside I didn’t like were that the charging outlets weren’t on the nightstand, you had to use the extension cords under the bed :/ Other than that, staff was friendly and we had a comfortable stay.

Breakfast was great, pool was relaxing and clean, staff super helpful and friendly, room was big, comfy, and super spacious. Very clean overall, only problem was 1 elevator was down and other was super slow, but there are stairs and there were signs communicating the problems with the elevator.

Staff was absolutely amazing! Property was very clean inside and out. The rooms look kind of dated but everything worked properly. The only thing I didn't like was there were no microwaves in the rooms. You had to go downstairs to the lobby area to use a microwave. Overall, it was an ok stay.
