Motel 6 Georgetown, TX

Air conditioner wasn't cooling well and had a bucket under it to catch water it was leaking.. The bathroom had mold and bath tub was very slick! The toilet was loose and wobbled all over. The only ice was in the lobby and you had to walk the entire hotel to get a small bucket of ice.

Good place if you are looking for place to crash for a night or two.

Nothing Dogs barking at 4 am Monday. Then Tuesday night 4 Mexican guy's were smoking pot and getting drunk playing load music until 1 am. Right outside my door.

There were cockroaches in the room. Staff didn't seem to care when we showed them the video

It was close to attractions. Beds uncomfortable, saw a few bugs, room door was not leveled off, no shampoo/conditioner offered, ice bucket come with top, the room was supposed to be non- smoking but it smelled like smoke.

Location, next-door is Shipley’s donuts on the other side is a 24 hour Jack-in-the-Box gas station across the street and a whole lot of restaurants around. Well managed clean property. Entrance is close to intersection the locals anticipate you and some are kind enough to let you through. Wait time isn’t bad.

Overall it was a great stay and the staff were very friendly.

Ethan was great despite our problems. Main problem hotels, 2 , AC sucked. Can't sleep if it's hot. But Ethan did his best to take care of our problem. Moved to another hotel the next night.

Was put in a smoking room and was not asked when checking in. Bed sheets and entire room stank. Had a big fall out of my clothes the next morning. AC was very noisy. Building was in poor repair. Lobby doors stuck and were over lapping.

To be perfectly honest, I hate Motel 6. They just happen to be the cheapest...and for a single traveler just needing a place to stay for the night, it works. But they are awful. This one...the one in Georgetown...is one of the nicer Motel 6s I've been to. That isn't saying much...but, it'll do. That's about as nice as I can get.

Stayed for a night. Didn’t have issues. Will book again.

The room looked old and when I was going to sleep multiple roaches came crawling out on the floor.

There were at least 20 dead bugs in the light in the bathroom. The only over head light was out. We called it in the first night at 5:15pm and was never replaced. The front door knob wasn't working properly. The light would turn green when you used the door key but it wouldn't disengage the lock until you messed with it a lot. We had to get the staff to help us with it at midnight.

Dozens of roaches. Shower fixtures were loose in the wall with gaps. 1 travel size bar of soap in the shower; no shampoo. Soft, lumpy mattress. Not even close to being worth the rate they charged.

Bare basics of a room but very clean: economically efficient one could say.

Had a nice stay. Almost missed the motel at arrival because the building office did not have any signs on it, looks like the office may have recently undergone a remodel. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaints i have is the bathroom smelt like it had been smoked in abd the tv volume was hard to hear even when tyrned all the way up. Over all for the price I would definitely stay there again.

Honestly not as good as my first time. They didn’t have rooms ready upon checkin. They couldn’t find the credit card when they did find the reservation. The room I had smelt horrible. There were more homeless people in the parking lot. Parking was an issue I got a door ding because of how close the spots were. And pulling in and out at 5pm is almost imposssible.

The room was ok, the bathroom was absolutely awful with painting peeling and mold. The flooring had dirt caked in the corners. We were in town duebto a death in the family and had a baby with us. I have picture's

The only thing I thought there would be carpet. But the floor was clean so no problem, I'll bring house shoes in the future.

There is so much wrong with this, we are not in Mexico so if your not willing to learn English then go back to where they speak your language. I am just being real why come here to live if your not willing to learn English ... God Bless America!!

Could use some remodeling in the restroom area,but other than that it was clean,plenty of towels and very nice staff. Thanks to everyone at motel 6.

The only issue I have is being awakened at a very early hour to extremely loud Hispanic music. Not cool. I know it wasn't the hotels fault but my issue is with the person that was blasting the music. It was very inconsiderate to do this at a hotel early in the morning and to not be respectful of the other guests who may not t necessary have to be up before dawn. It was just not necessary to have the music so loud that it shakes the windows and interrupts sleeping guests. I didn't complain to the hotel ,because I know it was out of there control. I just wanted to give some insight into some people that stay here from time to time so it may help them to keep in mind that they should be a little more considerate of others. However, I don't speak Spanish so they may never get to know what this sais unless of course they have an English to Spanish Translation enabled on there devices.

There was no hair dryer or coffee pot in the rooms and the older lady when we were checking out was very rude.

Do NOT go here if you have dogs. They will not even let you step out of your room without your dog leashed with you. They watch you on camera so don’t even think about leaving your dog unattended for 1 minute. Smh

It’s a great hotel if you need to stay one night, quick turnaround. I probably wouldn’t stay here for more than that. You can tell that the property has been renovated. It’s clean but very basic. No shampoo or conditioner in the showers. Staff is super friendly.

Our room smelled like smoke and the door was half smashed in… idk we check I with some staff that was nice but just sketchy… just get the more expensive hotel, that’s the advice I would give myself <\3

This parking lot was kind of hard to get into very busy road. The check in was easy the guy was super nice. Room was clean, for this price point definitely the better option that others in town

For the price it’s great for one night. It is convenient for access to shopping and the freeway. Immediate neighborhood is a bit rundown.

And when requested the refund, even the manager was unable to document the refund, so now I'm waiting... according to her, because of MY bank, it might take up to 10 days.

I reserved due to the price, and since I didn't have my family with me. Was pleasantly surprised at the room, bed, and the spacious bathroom. Very close to downtown and the University. If 35 is busy, there is a back road option that super easy.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the motel room. It was enormous and very well-appointed for such a low price. There was a full-sized refrigerator and a gas cooktop. Convenient and easy to find.

For a basic hotel it was good. The room was clean and it was quiet. Price was reason I chose this hotel. Just needed a bed to sleep in at nigh and it was great for that.

Property was simple and clean, nothing special but nothing bad either. Staff was friendly and there were plenty of towels.

Check in was very quick and clerk was so friendly and efficient. Just what I needed when checking in at a late hour.

Good reception on late night checking. Spacious and clean room. Bed was ok. Felt ok and sunk in. Decent one night stay for the price. Close to interstate exit and walkable to jack in the box restaurant. Requested for non smoking room but the room was used for 420 and was not cleaned or sprayed for smell after previous guests left.

This was my 2nd stary at this location. Likely won't return. Place was dirtier than i recalled. Housekeeping was incomplete daily. No water pressure in the shower. Broken toilet paper holder. Couple holes, fist size, in walls. I just didn't feel comfortable at all with this stay. Not the worst, but far from enjoyable

Room appeared clean but there were holes in the wall which I had to put a cloth in and there were small roaches in bathroom and on bedside nightstand. You could say it serves its purpose for the price. Will not stay there again.

Staff is friendly. You have shade trees on one side and can hear birds singing all morning long. That’s nice. If you are on a budget, this place is gonna do the trick.

Hotel room was filthy, half a dozen crickets inside our ceiling light. No toiletries or hair dryer. Room did not even have a do not disturb sign. Very dissatisfied.

It was an alright motel little noisy a couple nights but had nothin to do with hotel it was just drunk Mexicans staying there for work they cleaned my room daily none of my stuff was stolen and there were no bugs so all in all it was a good experience.

We were very pleasantly surprised about our stay at motel six in Georgetown! The bed was super comfortable, and we got a great night sleep. Across the street there was a large store that had delicious food!

I know Motel 6 sometimes has a bad reputation but this one was clean and comfortable. Very good price as well.

I’m me night stay on business. Convenient and reasonable price for the area. Recommend for short stays (1or 2 nights.
