AC unit cooled the area but made a weird sound all the time.

Oftentimes we disregard Hotels/Motels along the highways, but this little “House on the Prairie”, was so clean, pleasant, quiet, and downright beautiful and welcoming!

It wasn’t extraordinary in its appearance, however it was clean, safe and reasonable. I felt comfortable in an emergency situation for an appropriate cost. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly.

All the staff at this property are extremely pleasant to deal with and very helpful. Although I had problems getting to my destination and having to delay my reservation they were very helpful and understanding with the whole process. Definitely will stay here again!!

Our room was fine but the only thing was that it kind of smelled like there had been a dog in there before. Other than that everything was fine.

Toilet float was stuck up so tank would not fill - easy self fix but something to consider if you are not handy.

They had no one to clean you room to fix bed like all other hotels and no pool. Other then that everything was great

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, conscientious and extremely helpful! The hotel was such a short walk to the Two Step Inn venue so it was perfect all around! Also a big shout out of appreciation to the 24 hour coffee in the lobby!

The tv didn’t work. When complained, the staff stated nothing they could do. Discovered that the receiver box for remote was blocked behind dresser. There was not enough cord to move on top

I love the cleanliness of this hotel and the staff is awesome!

Traveling throughout the state of Texas and this was a great spot because it was close to a lot of attractions and a good rate. Great customer service and very quiet area. No noise in the hallways. And they had a really nice gym. Also a printer and computer for your needs and snacks as well. Plus a laundry room.

I’m only reported this because I really like my quiet stay there and plan to for now on for my trips to Austin..

The morning staff was friendly. I did not see anyone at the desk in the evening. The room was clean, and the AC worked great. The pet area in the back was dirty. There were cigarette butts and other items that a dog or cat can eat and get sick.

Checkin took 50 minutes. The TV didn't work and had to be fixed 2 times and very inconvenient since I was staying there for a business trip for 4 nights!! There were also little nats in the covers. Horrible stay,. I normally do not give complaints. I am a pretty easy person. I did address these to your front office. She was very sweet. She was also extremely overwhelmed and probably needs an assistant, especially during the end of the day when the poor woman has a line out the door of people checking in. There is nobody available for hours during the high peak times. So if you lost a key, had a basic question, you would not be able to get an answer or anyone to pick up the phone.. Nobody wants to stand in a line for 45 minutes to ask for anything. Also, the room was never cleaned in 5 days. No clean towels. Had to literally ask for everything needed.

The room was clean and roomy. Unfortunately the refrigerator woke us up in the middle of the night making noise, and the toilet rocked and was noisy when you say down. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Check-in and check-out was great. The room was nice. But the handheld shower head needs to be replaced. Didn’t work at any options it had. It had 90% blockage. Towels were left on the bed, when we walked in to our room. It was about 6pm when we checked-in. Over all stay was ok.

Everything was great. The staff always went above and beyond with each request. We were 2 senior ladies traveling alone and felt very safe on their property.

We loved everything about our room. We never worried about our safety, even though we were 2 older women traveling alone. The staff was simply amazing.

The public areas were clean, the suite was great with plenty of space, the only caveat was the faucet in the bathroom sink sprayed some water onto the counter but would definitely recommend staying there

We had a room and the heater didn't work and they didn't hesitate to come check it out and right away gave us another room just a few rooms away. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean.

We loved the full kitchen, only downside was that the icemaker didn’t work. Problem solved when the front desk gave us a bag of ice.

Overall it was a nice stay, not much to eat or do around it. The entrance is in and awkward position to enter if you're coming from the east over the bridge, you have to pass it, go on the round about and come back, beware of the median. There's no ice machine in the hotel and didn't have ice in room either. The hotel looked clean and the rooms were too.

Gage, the front desk clerk at check in, went above and beyond to resolve a room ready problem. The hotel was clean, updated and a relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend.

Room had not been cleaned well before I got there; old coffee grounds still in the coffee pot and hair in the shower. But the beds were fresh. I stayed 3 days and no one ever came to make my bed or bring fresh towels. I had to get those myself. The desk staff was helpful, especially the young woman with the physical challenges. She worked very hard and was friendly.

The shower was a very strange design which got water all over the bathroom floor. That wasn’t good and it was messy. We missed the tub which would have given us more options. The beds were really good and comfortable. The pillow were great and so were the linens. We had plenty of towels and washcloths which was great. Overall stay was really good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The facility was in renovation--that was not disclosed when I made reservations. No elevator, no cable. Was given a room with 2 doubles instead of a king. Staff were polite but the facility was not ready for business.

If all Candlewoods are set up such as this, this will be our new go to as we travel.

Office chair material was torn. Room phone not working. Remote from another room left in the room so it had to be removed before we could figure out how to use the TV on the right remote. There were no do not disturb signs to let housekeeper know we were still in the room before checkout.

Property is in bad need of cleaning and repairs. The mattress was the worst. The room was clean but the elevator was naughty and the floor had duct tape on it holding the flooring down. Just dirty

No hot water and smelt like smoke.

Tv wasn’t connected had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come fix it. Toilet float wasn’t working properly. Took 20 minutes for water to get hot in shower. Front desk person did a great job but she needs some extra help she’s doing too many roles.

No breakfast at this location. Staff is friendly. Easy access to I-35

Relaxing

We went to the store to buy roach sticky pads and I wish I could post the picture of the amount of roaches were stuck on it. It definitely wasn’t worth the price I paid for and the rating is wrong, it should be rated 3 out of 10. It was definitely one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. I hope this review gets posted to help future travelers.

Front desk was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean but had water stains on the ceiling and soap dispenser was coming off the wall. So needs updating. When I made the reservation said last Queen room left at the price. There were only 7 cars in the parking lot both in the evening and next morning so I doubt that. Made the reservation a month in advance and rooms were cheaper the day of arrival. So the value definitely wasn’t there.

Nice hotel and location

Great for blue collar workers staying weeks at a time but not good for families or single women traveling. No ice machine on the property either.

Roach crawled across the bed and freakede out.
