Hyatt Place Dallas/Garland/Richardson

I’m deducting one star because my room was not ready when I arrived. I prepaid for two nights, and although I didn’t make the 3:00 PM check-in time, I certainly expected to be able to get settled in when I arrived at **4:30 PM**. The employee was friendly, but I was told my room wouldn’t be ready for another 15 minutes. **Wait…what?!** 😳 I’m deducting another star because housekeeping left the **dirty towels in my room after replacing them with fresh towels**. I appreciate the fresh towels, but the dirty ones should have been removed. Overall, the stay was decent, and the staff member who assisted me was friendly, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to room readiness and housekeeping.

Semi clean. Minimal amenities. Mostly empty roll of TP in room on entrance with no spares anywhere😳 Pretty run down handicap accessible room we didn’t request. Housekeeping came after one night but didn’t touch the shower/bath (obvious from the bath mat still half even as we left it). Took away one roll of TP we had to get after request at front desk upon supposed cleaning🤔 Dresser drawers? in kitchenette area didn’t close. Ottoman was shredded and torn from maybe past animal stay. Not sure would stay again🙈

The location, services, and staff are excellent. THi is the second Hyatt place in Texas where I have stayed in recent years. The only drawback I found was the layout of the room (not the size which is more than adequate) and issues like lighting which was dim in places. No changes anticipated here, so what you see is what you get..

It's a pretty nice,fun place and staff are helpful and friendly... But the place is not super- spectacular,but what place is lol? It works,don't worry.

Great location for our needs. Hotel room was large, clean and quiet. The floor plan of room was very interesting. We had to get used to the arrangement of shower, sink etc.

The smell in the room was pretty unbearable. Smells of mold with a hint of cat pee. The room and bathroom are past due for an update. The front desk clerk was kind.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, plenty of parking and complementary breakfast. The power did go off in the middle of the night but things happen and maintenance fixed it within an hour. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The pool is clean and fun. We had a great time walking to Buffalo Wild Wings located in the same parking lot after swimming. It was a great stay and conveniently located to my business there in Market Research. There is also a giant Walmart around the corner. The breakfast was very good.

Had a wonderful stay, staff was very friendly, breakfast items were great and easy access to a lot of local things!! Wasn’t a big fan of the towing of cars if there wasn’t a plaque in the vehicle! We had visitors but went and got an additional plaque but saw some others being towed away!! Other than that a great place to stay!

Clean room but room next door was very loud music

Nice room but very used. This particular room could definitely use a renovation. The last time I stayed in a different room and it was in much better condition. The breakfast was great.

Receptionist was at the bar upon arrival, drinking with a couple guys. When she came to the desk to check us in, she was intoxicated, slurring words and off balance. Very unprofessional and unsafe. We checked out without spending the night. This is seedy.

They should be more attentive to the breakfast area; someone should be there to check on things and clean up while guests are present.

Pets are welcome I get it but for me the hotel has to accommodate by making sure it’s unnoticeable due to pet hair and other unacceptable things that come from animals . The hotel has to guarantee a clean fresh environments around the board. I will never visit this location again.

Food okay, elevator just one made it difficult. Room hot because of where the A/C is located.

We got three rooms and spent three nights and our room weren't cleaned not even one time. We had to be chasing down housekeeping to give us clean towels and toilet paper. I asked them why our rooms didn't get cleaned and they said we have to request it. I asked them to clean our rooms and they didn't do so. There was only one elevator that worked so it was a hassle to get in and out of our rooms. Other tenants said they were there for one month and hasn't fixed the elevator in that month. That is pretty screwed up. We also didn't have hot water. We took cold showers and it works get hot by the time we were almost done. The air conditioner units are outdated and terrible at cooling. The rooms were not comfortable either. I don't recommend this place at all Their breakfast sucked too. Just short of a Continental breakfast.

The only issue we had was bed frame was noisy and so was the ac unit.

Broken elevator still not fixed from last visit 8 months prior, dirty elevator, dirty carpet everywhere, bad mildew smell on fifth floor, water from shower smelled.

Staff was excellent. Water didn’t get hot for 15 minutes of running it. The next morning it didn’t get hot at all. Internet was bad off and on. Room and bed was very comfortable.

Amazing staff and hospitality

The reviews were bogus, the kitchen (breakfast) was the most helpful but the hot food was cold. There was hair in the drain of the shower (gross), the hotel looks like they try to maintain it-but wallpaper is peeling/bubbling. Wouldn’t let us check in early-without $30 charge, yet in the elevator, there’s a sign about if you’re Hyatt member you can check in early. Front desk person never talked about that with me, nor even offered. Hotel is very dark the AC unit rattled all night long, but my mind it worked well and temperature was adjustable. It’s definitely not Hyatt brand quality. I’d give it 2.5 stars.

Really enjoyed our stay. From the courteous staff to tasty breakfasts to the swimming pool and workout room. Conveniently located near great eateries as well as a Sam’s Walmart and Target. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Location to event No cold water, ran a bath for my kid and the water was scalding hot. Staff didn’t seem to care had to call GM days later for resolution.

We are repeat guests, as family lives in the area. The staff has been consistently helpful, and there are zero issues with cleanliness. Our stays have always been relaxing and comfortable, and we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. Yet, we did not eat breakfast, but we were told where it was located. The room was spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was good but our fridge was leaking which I called and they did offer us to change rooms which was nice but our kids were already asleep. The toilet also ran all night long and the shower head leaked. But that stuff didn’t bother us too bad because it was just a quick stay for a few hours of sleep.

The location of felt safe. The facility appeared very well maintained. I really enjoyed my room! Very clean and everything inside it worked well. Complementary breakfast was good! Plenty of accommodations near the hotel too. There is a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant named Nuevo León Taqueria. Highly recommend. Thank you Hyatt!

It is a beautiful hotel! The staff is very nice, their breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because my mom and I both had pillows on our beds (one room with 2 queen beds) that smelled awful, like very mildewed. We only stayed one night, and I forgot to mention it to the desk staff when we were checking out because we were in a rush. Would most definitely stay there again, though!

First impression is everything i made reservation weeks in advance. For a king accessible room and ask to be put in a room non pet room, i did no realize all there rooms are pet friendly I don'tthinkthat was disclosed. I do have some allergies. The first thing at check in we don't have the room you reserved no accessible or non pet room. We do apologize well that doesn't make it right that's excuses. And why so ok because it's a non refundable reservation so we check in and head to the room get off the elevator and it's at the end of a long hall. Really you put us in a room with a long walk. The whole reason for a handicap room is accessibility my husband has walking difficulties. The breakfast was good and the room was clean a little noisy from the hwy near by and the ac unit in the room.

Breakfast was great. Plenty of hot food, fruits, coffee and drinks. Parking was ample and safely lit at night. Room was spacious, well appointed but shows its age. Everything worked fine and I felt safe so would stay here again.
